Web analytics is also known as cloud analytics which helps to display the information regarding site metrics from massive data. This can be achieved in two ways via the user’s web browser such as statistical and visualization of a particular digital web based interface. This paper explores high level digital archiving software by integration of DSpace with web analytics popular tool Piwik. The paper discusses to create a single window web analytic interface to represent the user log and present the DSpace Usage. For this the researchers select DSpace, an open source software as it is free and popular. They integrate DSpace software with Piwik web analytic tool. Piwik, a web analytic interface tool has been chosen due to its successful integration with DSpace and it is also a free web analytics tool. The whole integration is being performed in Ubuntu operating system due to its reliability and good rate of performance. After successful integration of DSpace with Piwik in Ubuntu Operating System, researchers found that there are multiple colourful link icons showing the different community, sub-community, collection and metadata. It will also display statistical visual graph showing unique visitors, average visit duration, page views, downloads, average generation time page views, unique page views total searches on your website, unique keywords downloads, etc. Through this web analytic interface, DSpace usage may be measured easily and the users’ trend at present will be displayed to rectify any demerits behind this.

As the complexity of health decision science applications increases, high-level programming languages are increasingly adopted for statistical analyses and numerical computations. These programming languages facilitate sophisticated modeling, model documentation, and analysis reproducibility. Among the high-level programming languages, the statistical programming framework R is gaining increased recognition. R is freely available, cross-platform compatible, and open source. A large community of users who have generated an extensive collection of well-documented packages and functions supports it. These functions facilitate applications of health decision science methodology as well as the visualization and communication of results. Although R’s popularity is increasing among health decision scientists, methodological extensions of R in the field of decision analysis remain isolated. The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of existing R functionality that is applicable to the various stages of decision analysis, including model design, input parameter estimation, and analysis of model outputs.

In calculus subjects various kinds of equations are discussed, one of which is integral equations. Integral equations are usually used to approach calculations in certain physical cases, so that solutions can be found. In addition, calculating the integral function has a high level of difficulty, because it requires speed and accuracy in the calculation process. The type of research used in this study is Research and Development. To develop application, researchers use Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and JavaScript languages. While the numerical method as the basis for building this appliacation is the Simpson 1/3 Method. The results of this study are software in the form of web applications that function to calculate various integral functions: 1. Can run on all operating systems; 2. No need for additional application features to open (just a web browser); 3. Can run on all types of hardware (laptops, computer personal and smartphones). Keywords: Web-based aplications, integral, JavaScript, HTML

AbstractIt is usually agreed that programming languages for implementing (other) programming languages, or ‘implementation languages’, should be simple low-level languages which are close to the machine code and to the operating system. In this paper it is argued that a very high level implementation language is a good idea, of particular importance for knowledge-based systems, and that Lisp (as a language and as a system) is very well suited to be a very high level implementation language. The significance of special-purpose programming languages is also discussed, and the requirements that they have for a very high level implementation language are considered.

This paper discusses the detailed design and implementation of an XML databinding framework for Web-based aircraft engine simulation. The framework provides an interoperable, high-level object interface to access data. The interface permits semantic validation of engine data while preserving the meaning of the original data. Using this framework makes the integration of engine model and data, along with the relevant interfaces required for sharing and validation engine data, easier and more efficient. The language-independent representation of engine component data enables users to move around XML data using HTTP through disparate networks. The application of this framework is demonstrated via a Web-based turbofan propulsion system simulation using the World Wide Web (WWW). The framework employs a Java Servlet-based Web component architecture that renders XML engine data into HTML format and handles the user’s input events. This feature allows users to conduct and manage engine simulations from a Web browser. The simulation data can be saved to a local disk for archiving or restarting the simulation at a later time.

[This is a postprint/accepted version of the manuscript. The manuscript has been published in Journal of Cognition.] It is becoming increasingly popular and straightforward to collect data in cognitive psychology through web-based studies. In this paper, I review issues around web-based data collection for the purpose of numerical cognition research. Provided that the desired type of data can be collected through a web-browser, such online studies offer numerous advantages over traditional forms of physical lab-based data collection, such as gathering data from larger sample sizes in shorter time-windows and easier access to non-local populations. I then present results of two replication studies that employ classical paradigms in numerical cognition research: the number–size congruity paradigm and comparison to a given standard, which also included a masked priming manipulation. In both replications, reaction times and error rates were comparable to original, physical lab-based studies. Consistent with the results of original studies, a distance effect, a congruity effect, and a priming effect were observed. Data collected online thus offers a level of reliability comparable to data collected in a physical lab when it comes to questions in numerical cognition.

Today, kiosk automata (kiosks, for short) are used for variety of services from all sort of kiosks for providing information's, to kiosks for paying tickets and ATM's. Kiosks are usually programmed either using high level programming languages, like C++, or using HTML in conjunction with web browser. In this paper, we analyzed a vast range of kiosk automata and derived common characteristics. We present approach for programming kiosk applications based on Domain Specific Language (DSL), designed specifically to meet the needs of developing kiosk applications that are usually programmed using high level programming languages and are deployed on kiosks with touch-screen monitors. Our goal is to make development of such kiosk applications more rapid, while minimizing number of programming errors.

The VoIP communication system at OMNI Hospital Alam Sutera uses the Elastix 2.5 server with the Centos 5.11 operating system. Elastix 2.5 by the developer has been declared End of Life. The server security system is a serious concern considering that VoIP servers can be accessed from the internet. Iptables and fail2ban applications are applications that are used to limit and counteract those who try to attack the VoIP server. One application that can be used as an open source VoIP server is the Issabel Application version 4.0. The migration process from Elastix 2.5 application to Issabel 4.0 by backing up all configurations in the Elastix 2.5 application through a web browser including the configuration of endpoints, fax, e-mail, asterisk. After the backup file is downloaded then upload the backup file to the Issabel 4.0 application then run the migration process. Adding a backup path as a failover connection is needed because the VoIP communication protocol between the OMNI Hospitals Group still uses one path so that when there is a problem in the connection path, the communication protocol will stop. The tunnel EoIP is a protocol used as a backup path between the OMNI Hospitals Group site.
