Abstract: With the increase in population, the state of sanitation is declining. The abundance of garbage in public places creates a climate of impurity. It can cause several serious illnesses in the immediate vicinity. It also reduces the area rating. To avoid this and to improve sanitation, a 'smart waste management system' is proposed for this project. In the proposed system, the level of debris in dust bins is detected with the help of a Sensor, and transferred to a control room authorized by the GSM system. Microcontroller is used to communicate with the sensor system and the GSM / GPRS system. The Amazon application is built to monitor the information you want related to the waste of various selected sites. This will help to manage your waste collection more efficiently. Keywords: Smart Dustbin, Renesas, Force Sensor, IR Sensor, GSM, Android App.

Uneven capacity utilization seems to be a constant problem in Yogyakarta waste management system. The problem is worsen by lack of a decision tool to evaluate the system and formulate appropriate strategy. This present study therefore aims atevaluatingthe performance of existing waste management systemandoptimizingmunicipal waste collection points. A mathematical model of MixedIntegerLinearProgramming was developed and implemented inLingo 9. Findings show that the current waste management system is associated to daily total cost of about IDR 10 million and capacity utilization of 88%. Scenarios are developed to examine the optimized system. Findings suggest that current municipal waste can be handled with 35 collection points involving 15 depots and 20 containers. The optimized system is corresponding to IDR 6.3 millionand the capacity utilization of 99%, which makes a reduced cost of 37% and an increasedcapacity utilization of 13% in comparison to the performance of the existing system. Based on sensitivity analysis, volume of municipal waste appears to be influential factor toward the total cost and network structure. Limitation of the model is also discussed.

The article considers the justification of the possibility of organizing a waste management system of electronic and electrical equipment dangerous to human health and the environment and the subsequent use of secondary raw materials based on them. The current state of production sector of collection and disposal of waste of electronic and electrical equipment in the EU and Russia was analyzed. A scheme for the organization of a waste management system for electronic and electrical equipment, including the main methods of organization and stages of the cycle of collection and processing of waste in municipalities, forms of organization of work with the population, a formula for calculating the need for the number of necessary vehicles for mobile reception points, has been proposed. It was concluded that at present there is a real opportunity for the implementation in municipalities of a project to create an organization of a waste management system for electronic and electrical equipment, which does not require significant funds from the municipal budget.

Nowadays due to increasing population the communities have also increased several times. Due to this the amount of waste generated has also increased. Proper management systems although available in metropolitan cities are generally missing from towns and villages. Therefore a proper management is required to tackle problems with waste dumping systems in those areas. Out of several available ways we in this project are dealing the above mentioned problem with the help of web based management system which would help in maintain schedule and lodging complaints regarding the waste collection from the houses that belong to these underprivileged communities. This system is developed using React Js and asynchronous scripting with javascript at backend to ensure efficient working of servers and interaction with database. With the help of this project the process of waste collection will monitored and managed very efficiently by the waste management units of the local government in India.

The key issue in waste management system to ensure healthy environment is Garbage Collection and Dumping In traditional method, at public places garbage bins are placed to collect the garbage, which is usually collected by the garbage collection truck with the help of employed personnel and will be sent to the dumping yard to dump the collected garbage. These bins overflowed frequently before the routine maintenance takes place, which leads to bad order and unhygienic environment causing various life-costing diseases. As this problem is increasing day-by-day, an automated system for effective waste management system is desired which can collect garbage timely without human involvement is proposed and is implemented using NI myRIO, Arduino UNO and NI LabVIEW software. The proposed system consists of two main sub systems- Big Bin and small bin. Big bin moves in a regular predefined path marked as black line in regular time intervals to collect garbage from Small Bins placed in different locations. The proposed system is capable to automate the entire garbage collection and dumping process to ensure healthy environment.

Introduction. The problem of solid household waste management, analyzed in the context of sustainable development, is relevant both in Russia and worldwide. On the one hand, it deals with vast legitimate and illegitimate landfills, polluting the environment. On the other hand, it deals with the depletion of natural resources and the potential usability of latent reserves of recyclable waste. It is inefficient to accumulate mixed waste and build recycling capacities, since they are accompanied by atmospheric pollutions. Separate collection of waste has a great potential. According to the estimates, Russia’s waste management system will move to a new level when local waste management companies come into operation. This new level will ensure environmental protection and higher standards of living. However, the intersectoral problem of separate waste collection cannot be solved by local waste management operators. This problem deals with urban development patterns and urban economies of the RF subjects, as well as the Russian industries, that use recyclable materials. Materials and methods. The co-authors have applied the system analysis of the research literature, statistical data and regulatory documents, as well as process modeling. Results. The co-authors have analyzed the engineering model of separate waste collection, implemented by residents of multi-family homes within the framework of the “nature – economic activities – nature” pattern. The accumulation of hazardous and oversized waste is organized as the separate subsystems of the waste management system implemented by the residents of a multi-family home. Conclusions. The co-authors propose to modify the system of household waste management to prevent the over-accumulation of substantial amounts of mixed household waste in waste containers near residential houses and in waste collection rooms. The introduction of ecologically friendly innovations is needed at each stage of the life cycle of any product.

Waste management is one of the biggest problems facing the world in any developed or developing country. An important aspect of waste management is that the waste bin in the open space is properly filled before the next cleaning process begins. This can eventually lead to various hazards such as dirt and bad odor in the area, which can lead to the spread of various diseases. Population growth has significantly reduced toilets through the waste management system. Laying garbage in public places creates a polluted environment. To eliminate or reduce waste and maintain good hygiene, it requires a waste-based waste management system. The need for proper waste management is not limited to proper collection and disposal of waste. It continues to be a waste disposal and recyclable level. Recycling is considered a major benefit because in addition to waste disposal, our reliance on immature materials is declining. By recycling metal, plastic and glass, the use of decomposing waste can extend beyond compost and manure. Metals can be reused and plastic can be mixed with clay filler, which can lead to soil compaction. After deep cleaning the glass construction material can be broken down and re-melted into new articles. This article is about machine learning and the use of artificial intelligence in the most viable areas and understanding the full need for human communication.

Improper waste management has received remarkable attention from the stakeholders due to itsnegative impacts. Due to the increase in population, the waste generated in Malaysia also is increasing. Currently, landfilling is the main method of disposal. Considering few issues related with this approach such as the landfills have reached its capacity, environmental pollution as well as the bad condition of the landfill, alternative measure to manage the waste is crucial. Food waste can be utilized into other uses such as converting into fertilizer, electricity generation as well as the alternative for fuel. However, in order to implement such program, innovative measure for appropriate management of the food waste collection are required. In order to encourage the participation of household on food waste management, determining the preferred attributes by the household is crucial. Therefore, this study attempts to determine the household preferences for food waste management system in Malaysia as well as their willingness to pay for the food waste management system. The discrete choice experiment was used in order to accomplish the objectives of the study. The findings from this study suggests that the frequency and time of food waste collection are among the preferred attributes for food waste management system. The result also suggests that the willingness to pay for food waste management significantly varied by income and age of the respondents. Thus, it is suggested that if the government decides to come out with food waste management program, frequency and pick up time of the food waste are among important attributes that need to be considered.
