Abstract: This paper represents the development of an automated system based on IoT, which can mainly be used in the home and some features can also be implemented in offices, banks, or schools. The main purpose of this project is to save time and manpower along with security and convenience, using Raspberry pi. The salient features of this automated system are gas leakage detection for safety purposes, motion detection for security purposes, and controlling the home appliances as per the user’s need. The system takes command through voice as well as text as per the user’s requirements using google assistant, which further sends a response to Raspberry-Pi via Firebase for the required action. DHT22 sensor is used for the measurement of temperature and humidity, room temperature and Humidity will be displayed through Google assistant. This system consists of Python as the main programming language by default, provided by Raspberry Pi. The system will detect human presence with the help of a motion sensor i.e, whenever a person enters the room, the motion is detected and automatically an alert message will be sent to the user via Google assistant. <p><em>Intelligent systems are one of the most important branches of the computer world. Computers are expected to be able to solve various problems in the real world, not just a tool for doing calculations. To make this system, algorithms are needed that are in accordance with the problems faced so that they can solve or produce the decisions needed to solve these problems appropriately. Mamdani fuzzy logic algorithm is one of the algorithms that can be applied in intelligent systems. Fuzzzy mamdani algorithm, is one part of the Fuzzy Inference System which is useful for making the best conclusion or decision in an uncertain problem. This research focuses on the calculation of the fuzzy logic algorithm in providing answers to the uncertainties found in smart home systems used to control the speed of a fan and lights, while the factors that become uncertain in controlling a fan are room temperature and humidity and For lamps, they have a factor of light intensity and time of the region, for these factors, the researchers use the Humanity Guide Hygiene standard reference for humidity and the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1077 / Menkes / Per / V / 2011 concerning Guidelines for Air Sanitation in Home Spaces. Through this research, it can be seen that using the mamdani fuzzy logic algorithm can provide a result in the form of a decision to determine how fast a fan should rotate based on the temperature and humidity factors in the room as well as the level of light intensity that the lights must emit.</em><strong><em></em></strong></p>

Intruder recognition is basic parts of home computerization and home security frameworks. Most generally, utilized specialized devices are mobile phones and sending mails are considered for controlling home appliances remotely by proposing productive structures. An Enhanced Security Alert System for Smart Home using IOT is composed in our proposed work. It identifies the intruder when no one is in home by sending alert message or caught picture to the proprietor (or) owner. Proposed framework is ease home security framework utilizes an IP Web-camera and Raspberry pi for limiting delay during the time of sending alert message. Fog Computing is incorporated to proposed framework to expand the level of security and limit the engendering delay. Proposed framework is to give minimal effort arrangement and adaptable association instrument for coordinating Internet of Things with home security frameworks.</p><p><em> </em></p>

In the advancement of Internet technologies all machineries are inter related. Using the technology improvement, we can make many things in high effective and simple for human life. There are several places of Internet of Things (IOT) is used. Such as smart environment, smart home, smart city, smart parking, agriculture fields and medical fields.. In this paper, monitor patient’s heart rate, body temperature, Respiration rate and body movements using Raspberry Pi . After connecting Internet to the Raspberry Pi board it act as a server.. If these parameters are goes to abnormal, it will automatically sends alert message to the doctor. The data send by Raspberry pi is stored on a server. The detailed information of patients and doctor registered through website on stored on server. The people to check health status with help of sensors and patients to access the website from anywhere. In Wireless Sensor Network for acquire the convenient patient’s physiological signal using Raspberry Pi.

The human race has always been in the quest for a better and easier life and ever since technology begun heavily integrating itself into the society. From the appliances in our kitchen to the phones in our palms, there are many high tech devices that make our lives easier. But it would be more convenient if we could control these devices remotely. An automated system could control machines and perform tasks as per the convenience of the user from long distances. In this paper, we are presenting a proposed system for a Smart Home automation where the user can control home electronic appliances easily and with higher controllability using an android application. To design this system, we are using a Raspberry Pi module. The Raspberry Pi acts as a mini computer.

At present, the functions of home service robots are not perfect, and home service robot systems that can independently complete autonomous inspections and home services are still lacking. In response to this problem, this paper designs a smart home service robot system based on ROS. The system uses Raspberry Pi 3B as the main control to manage the nodes of each sensor. CC2530 sets up a ZigBee network to collect home environmental information and control home electrical appliances. The image information of the home is collected by the USB camera. The human speech is recognized by Baidu Speech Recognition API. When encountering a dangerous situation, the GSM module is used to give users SMS and phone alarms. Arduino mega2560 is used as the bottom controller to control the movement of the service robot. The indoor environment map of the home is constructed by the lidar and the attitude sensor. The service robot finally designed and developed realizes the functions of wireless control of home appliances, voice remote control, autonomous positioning and navigation, liquefied gas leakage alarm, and human infrared detection alarm. Compared with the household service robots in the related literature, the household service robots developed by us have more complete functions. And the robot system has completed the task of combining independent patrol and home service well.

In today’s day to day life automation can play a major role. Automation makes thing simple. The main attraction of any automated system is reducing human labour, efforts, time and errors due to human negligence. A Raspberry Pi is a credit card-sized computer which can be used for developing various applications. This project represents a flexible way to control devices. In this project we are working on an android application where a user will provide voice commands for controlling devices such as “COLD & HOT” which will be connected to raspberry pi and according to it the required process will work via Bluetooth connectivity. This automation can be used majorly not only in home but offices and hospitals also in old age home. It allows controlling number of home appliances simultaneously. Python is used as the main programming language which is default, provided by Raspberry Pi. This system requires micro SD card with an OS (LINUX) for Raspberry Pi. Using this we can say a regular home is converted to smart home.
