This research is a descriptive study with the aim to analyze metacognitive skills and scientific attitudes of biology students on Genetic materials through inquiry learning models. This research was carried out in Universitas Gunung Leuser Aceh. The sample in this study is Biology students in semester VI totaled 24 students. Data on the ability of metacognitive skills were obtained by questionnaire while scientific attitude data were obtained by observation sheets. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis techniques. The results is that the metacognitive skills of students is in the very good category (80,50%) while the students’ scientific attitude is in the good category (72,29%). The result shows that the inquiry learning models can improve biology students’ metacognitive abilities and scientific attitudes on Genetic materials.

This study aims to analyze the differences in scientific attitudes of students using inquiry training learning models with direct instruction learning models. This research is a quasi-experimental study. In this study there are two classes that are used as an experimental class and a control class, the experimental class is a class that is treated with learning with inquiry training models, while the control class is a class using the direct instruction learning model. The instrument used consisted of a questionnaire to measure students' scientific attitudes in the posttest, as well as an observation sheet. The results of this study indicate that the average value of the scientific attitude of learning in the experimental class is 75.01 with a standard deviation of 7.373, while in the control class is 71.60 with a standard deviation of 7.935. The results of this research suggest that inquiry training learning model is a solution and an alternative choice for teachers in improving students' scientific attitudes. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan sikap ilmiah siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry training dengan model pembelajaran direct instruction. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua kelas yang digunakan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, kelas eksperimen merupakan kelas yang diberi perlakuan pembelajaran dengan model inquiry training, sedangkan kelas kontrol adalah kelas dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari berupa angket untuk mengukur sikap ilmiah siswa dalam posttest, serta lembar observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai sikap ilmiah belajar pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 75,01 dengan simpangan baku sebesar 7,373, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 71,60 dengan simpangan baku sebesar 7,935. Hasil penelitan ini menyarankan bahwa model pembelajaran inquiry training merupakan solusi dan alternatif pilihan guru dalam meningkatkan sikap ilmiah siswa. As good citizens, when we gather among fellow language users who have different regional languages, we must always use Indonesian as a language of unity. This study aims to describe how the language behavior between the employees of the Buton tribe and the Buru tribe at the Buru Jazirah Namlea Multipurpose Cooperative and how the language behavior barriers between Buton and Buru tribe employees at the Buru Jazirah Namlea Multipurpose Cooperative in Namlea Buru Maluku Regency. This qualitative descriptive study examines linguistic phenomena. The data source in this study is the utterances used between the employees of the Buton tribe and the Buru tribe in the Buru Jazirah Namlea Multipurpose Cooperative which contains the regional languages of the two tribes. The method of data collection is done through non-participant observation. While the technique of data collection is done through the technique of referring to skillful engagements, recording techniques, and note-taking techniques. The data that has been classified is then analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study revealed that the language behavior between the employees of the Buton tribe and the Buru tribe at the Buru Jazirah Namlea Multipurpose Cooperative was initially not very good considering they communicated with each other in their respective languages but over time this could be overcome so that between the Buton tribes and the Buru tribe cooperated well. Subsequent findings of language barriers between Buton and Buru tribes employees at the Buru Jazirah Namlea Multipurpose Cooperative influenced their respective regional languages, between the two tribes unable to understand each other because the two tribes used their respective regional languages. when interacting.  Sebagai warga negara yang baik, ketika kita berkumpul antara sesama pengguna bahasa yang saling berbeda bahasa daerah, kita harus selalu menggunakan bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa persatuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bagaimana perilaku berbahasa antara karyawan suku Buton dan suku Buru di Koperasi Serba Usaha Buru Jazirah Namlea dan bagaimana hambatan-hambatan perilaku berbahasa antara karyawan suku Buton dan suku Buru di Koperasi Serba Usaha Buru Jazirah Namlea di Namlea Kabupaten Buru, Maluku. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini mengkaji tentang fenomena kebahasaan. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan-tuturan yang digunakan antara karyawan suku Buton dan suku Buru di Koperasi Serba Usaha Buru Jazirah Namlea yang mengandung bahasa daerah kedua suku tersebut. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi nonpartisipasi. Sementara teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik simak bebas libat cakap, teknik rekam, dan teknik catat. Data yang sudah diklasifikasi kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif.            Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa perilaku berbahasa antara karyawan suku Buton dan suku Buru di Koperasi Serba Usaha Buru Jazirah Namlea pada awalnya kurang begitu baik mengingat mereka saling berkomunikasi dengan menggunakan bahasa daerah masing-masing, namun seiring dengan berjalannya waktu hal tersebut bisa teratasi sehingga antara suku Buton dan suku Buru terjalin kerja sama dengan baik. Temuan berikutnya hambatan-hambatan  yang terjadi dalam perilaku berbahasa antara karyawan suku Buton dan suku Buru di Koperasi Serba Usaha Buru Jazirah Namlea yaitu pengaruh bahasa daerah masing-masing antara kedua suku tersebut tidak bisa saling memahami karena kedua suku tersebut menggunakan bahasa daerah mereka masing-masing ketika berinteraksi.

This study aims to analyze learning activities using guided inquiry learning models in improving scientific attitudes and students 'critical thinking skills and the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning models in improving scientific attitudes and students' critical thinking skills in science learning. This research was a quasi-experimental research with purposive sampling technique. Subjects in this study were 51 students of class V MIN 1 Serang. Data collection used documentation, questionnaires, observations and tests. Data were collected from the pretest and posttest of the students' scientific attitude and critical thinking as well as documentation and observation of guided inquiry learning activities in the control class and the experimental class. The type of data analysis used t-Test and effect size cohen’s test with the help of the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) program version 23.0. The results showed that the guided inquiry model learning activities were better than conventional models namely. So, there is the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning models in improving scientific attitudes and critical thinking skills of students on science learning in class.

<p><em>The purpose of this study was to observe the behavior of male and female cricket (Gryllus bimaculatus) interactions. The objects of this study were five male crickets and one female cricket that had been isolated for twenty-four hours. This research is an exploratory descriptive study observing all male and female cricket (gryllus bimaculatus) behaviors. The research method used is ad libitum which is observing all visible activities, both social behavior and daily behavior of male and female crickets. Retrieval of data using direct observation, recording sounds and then recorded in the observation sheet, observation notes, and documentation tools. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques that describe the behaviors that arise during observation. The results showed that the behavior that is often performed by crickets is sounding, eating, climbing, mating and attacking other crickets. Crickets perform sounding behavior to attract the attention of female crickets, show their existence and to defend their territory and food sources. crickets also often climb, to escape from the container because crickets want to live freely. Crickets perform eating behavior to maintain life and will show aggressive behavior when fighting over food and when maintaining their partners. Female crickets will mating if captivated by male crickets.</em></p>

Character education is interpreted as value education, character education, moral education, and behavioral education. Not many students have character that is not in accordance with the prevailing norms. With physics, students can change their mindset, one of them is through scientific attitude. Thus, this study aims to: (1) provide character education to students by using scientific attitudes as a reference (2) using the POE2WE learning model to provide a good example in student character education. In line with these objectives, this study uses literature study methods. Learning with the POE2WE model is one of the learning models that can help students to establish good and right character by building their own knowledge. In this discussion, namely in the subject of learning scientific attitudes that can educate good and true student character and use the POE2WE model.

This research is motivated by students' critical thinking skills in processing information while the learning process is still low. The purpose of this study is 1) to describe the implementation of learning by implementing contextual teaching and learning models through laboratory observation and environmental methods on scientific attitudes and critical thinking of students, 2) to obtain implementation data in contextual teaching and learning models through laboratory observation methods and the environment can improve scientific attitude, 3) to determine the implementation of contextual teaching and learning models through laboratory observation and environmental methods can improve critical thinking skills, 4) to uncover students' responses to the implementation of contextual teaching and learning models through laboratory and environmental observation methods on scientific attitudes and critical thinking students. The method used in this study is a mixed method (mixed methods research design). With the sampling technique using cluster random sampling, there were 2 classes, each of which amounted to 30 students for the experimental class and 30 students for the control class. The research instrument used was task and rubric students' scientific attitudes, essay tests of critical thinking skills, student response questionnaires to learning and observation sheets of teacher and student activities. The data analysis technique used is the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. Based on the results of the analysis of hypothesis testing shows the value t = 4.476 with Sig. 0.001 <0.05 means that the implementation of the contextual teaching and learning model through laboratory observation methods and the environment can improve scientific attitudes. Based on the results of hypothesis testing shows the value t = 8.486 with Sig. 0.001 <0.05 means that the implementation of the contextual teaching and learning model through laboratory and environmental observation methods can improve critical thinking skills in plant material at SMA 1 Darma Kuningan. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of Law of the Republic of Indonesia number 14 of 2008 in the preparation of village budgets to achieve good governance in the Village Government X in terms of the dimensions of village budget design, village budget study, ratification and enactment of village budgets, stipulation of budget implementation regulations village. This research is a descriptive study, with a population of 5,575 people, and a sample of 373 people was determined using the stratified random sampling method. The questionnaire was used for data collection and then analysed using descriptive analysis techniques. The research shows that the Village Government X in terms of the village budget drafting is in the agreed category. Judging from the discussion of the village budget, it is in the agreed category. Judging from the approval and promulgation of the village budget, it is in the agreed category. Judging from the implementation regulations of the village budget, it is in the very agree category. So it can be concluded that the Government of Village X Regency Y is able to implement Law Number 14 Year 2008 in preparing the village budget properly.

This study aims to describe the performance of employees who are at PT. Reycom Document Solutions, employee performance is still relatively low supported by research results. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, the subjects of this study are employees of PT. Reycom Document Solutions. Data collection is done by observation, interview and survey techniques. The validity of the data is done by triangulation of techniques and sources. Data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study show good performance because it is influenced by several factors. The influencing factors are external factors, compensation and motivation for employee performance. Managerial implications of this research are HR Placement, work discipline, production targets, job satisfaction, motivation, compensation, management systems, bonuses / incentives, health benefits, family benefits, pensions, transportation and office facilities that have not been able to improve employee performance. Managerial should conduct an evaluation to improve employee performance at PT. Reycom Document Solutions.

ABSTRACT Scientific attitude and creativity of students in processing information when the learning process is still low. The purpose of this study is 1) to obtain data on the implementation of project based learning model learning can improve scientific attitudes, 2) to determine the implementation of project based learning model learning can increase student creativity. The method used in this research is the experimental method with the technique of sampling by cluster random sampling. The research instrument used was the task and rubric of students' scientific attitudes and creativity. Data analysis techniques normality, homogeneity and hypothesis. The hypothesis t=4.476 means that the implementation of the project based learning model of learning can improve scientific attitudes. The hypothesis t=8.486 means that the project based learning model of learning can increase student creativity. The conclusion is the implementation of the project based learning model of learning can improve students' scientific attitudes and creativity. Teachers should apply a project based learning model with video media on waste recycling materials.
