Character education is interpreted as value education, character education, moral education, and behavioral education. Not many students have character that is not in accordance with the prevailing norms. With physics, students can change their mindset, one of them is through scientific attitude. Thus, this study aims to: (1) provide character education to students by using scientific attitudes as a reference (2) using the POE2WE learning model to provide a good example in student character education. In line with these objectives, this study uses literature study methods. Learning with the POE2WE model is one of the learning models that can help students to establish good and right character by building their own knowledge. In this discussion, namely in the subject of learning scientific attitudes that can educate good and true student character and use the POE2WE model.

Misconceptions in the field of science especially physics occur in many places ranging from primary education to tertiary education. Thus, this study aims to: (1) reduce student misconceptions on the subject of Archimedes law (2) use the POE2WE learning model to reduce student misconceptions on the subject of Archimedes law. In line with these objectives, this study uses literature study methods. Learning with the POE2WE model is one of the learning models that can help students build their own knowledge. And using this model is expected to provide efforts to reduce the occurrence of misconceptions in students in each learning undertaken. In the discussion this time namely in the subject of Archimedes law will see how students understand the concept of Archimedes's law with the syntax of POE2WE which is done in learning.

This study aims to analyze the differences in scientific attitudes of students using inquiry training learning models with direct instruction learning models. This research is a quasi-experimental study. In this study there are two classes that are used as an experimental class and a control class, the experimental class is a class that is treated with learning with inquiry training models, while the control class is a class using the direct instruction learning model. The instrument used consisted of a questionnaire to measure students' scientific attitudes in the posttest, as well as an observation sheet. The results of this study indicate that the average value of the scientific attitude of learning in the experimental class is 75.01 with a standard deviation of 7.373, while in the control class is 71.60 with a standard deviation of 7.935. The results of this research suggest that inquiry training learning model is a solution and an alternative choice for teachers in improving students' scientific attitudes. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan sikap ilmiah siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry training dengan model pembelajaran direct instruction. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua kelas yang digunakan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, kelas eksperimen merupakan kelas yang diberi perlakuan pembelajaran dengan model inquiry training, sedangkan kelas kontrol adalah kelas dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari berupa angket untuk mengukur sikap ilmiah siswa dalam posttest, serta lembar observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai sikap ilmiah belajar pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 75,01 dengan simpangan baku sebesar 7,373, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 71,60 dengan simpangan baku sebesar 7,935. Hasil penelitan ini menyarankan bahwa model pembelajaran inquiry training merupakan solusi dan alternatif pilihan guru dalam meningkatkan sikap ilmiah siswa. One of the problems encountered in science learning in school today that the learning process is less develop the skills and scientific attitude. Where science process skills and scientific attitudes are activities that must be developed at every level of education in science subjects. In this study, problems were developed about how the influence of CLIS learning models on the improvement of science process skills and scientific attitudes of PGSD students, other than that, the problem of how much improvement in science process skills and scientific attitudes of students when learning is carried out by applying the CLIS learning model. The research methodology used in this study is Pre-Experimental Designs, by using a research design One Group Pretest Posttest Design, wherein the implementation compares the pretest of science process skills and students' scientific attitudes with the posttest of science process skills and student scientific attitudes. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out the implementation of the CLIS learning model has a strong influence on student science process skills, also has a strong influence on the increasing scientific attitude of students, and improvement of science process skills using the CLIS model is included in the medium category, as well as the improvement of the scientific attitude of students included in the medium category. Based on the results of the analysis the researcher recommends to the dossiers, to the teacher, to the principal to make the CLIS learning model an alternative learning process in the classroom, as well as to the next researcher this research can be used as a reference in subsequent research.

This study is a comparative study with the quasy experiment method which aims to determine the differences in scientific attitudes of students using the Discovery Learning Model and Direct Learning Models. The research design used was two experimental groups. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the analysis show the value of the average scientific attitude (curiosity, democratic attitude and academic honesty) of the experimental class I students, namely 74.57 and the experimental class II, which is 64.26. The results of hypothesis testing using the t-test obtained by the value of tcount = 2.30 at a significant level α = 0.05 with dk = 5 obtained a value of ttable = 2.021. This shows that there are differences in scientific attitudes of students who are taught through discovery learning models and direct learning models on the subject matter of buffer solutions.

The background of this study was the low student learning outcomes of PPKn, from 28 students who achievedthe completeness criteria at least only 11 students (39.29%). The low student learning outcomes are caused bythe high level of individuality between students so that the achievement of competence among studentsexperiences a very distant difference. Based on this, the researchers made improvements to student learningoutcomes through the application of STAD cooperative learning models. This research is a classroom actionresearch, with the subject of class VII of SMP Negeri 3 Teluk Kuantan. The data used in this study is PPKnlearning outcomes data. The results stated that after applying the STAD type cooperative learning model studentlearning outcomes had increased in the initial data the number of students who completed were 11 students, incycle I had an increase with the number of 18 students, and in cycle II the number of students who completedcontinued to increase by the number 22 student.

This research is a descriptive study with the aim to analyze metacognitive skills and scientific attitudes of biology students on Genetic materials through inquiry learning models. This research was carried out in Universitas Gunung Leuser Aceh. The sample in this study is Biology students in semester VI totaled 24 students. Data on the ability of metacognitive skills were obtained by questionnaire while scientific attitude data were obtained by observation sheets. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis techniques. The results is that the metacognitive skills of students is in the very good category (80,50%) while the students’ scientific attitude is in the good category (72,29%). The result shows that the inquiry learning models can improve biology students’ metacognitive abilities and scientific attitudes on Genetic materials.

 This research aimed to describe the scientific attitudes of students towards learning physics on energy and work materials by applying the advanced organizer learning model. This research is pre-experimental research with the design of one group pretest-posttest design, which describes an increase in scientific attitudes through the application of the advance organizer learning model for Class X SMA 2 Mempura, Siak Regency in the 2018/2019 academic year. The aspects of the scientific attitude in this research include curiosity, critical thinking, open thinking, and honest attitude. The data collection technique used a questionnaire given to the research subject. Initial scientific attitude data was taken by distributing questionnaires to research subjects before treatment, while the final scientific attitude was taken by distributing questionnaires after treatment. The filling out of the questionnaire is done individually in the class, where students are not allowed to ask questions or pay attention to other friends regarding the answers to the questionnaire. The results showed that the students' initial scientific attitude was in the low category of 2.41, while the final scientific attitude had increased by 1.11 points with an average score of 3.52 which was categorized as high. Based on the results of the N-Gain score, students' scientific attitudes on each indicator had a score with an average N-Gain value of 0.70 which was categorized as high. The results of this research concluded that the application of the advanced organizer learning model in learning work and energy materials could improve the scientific attitudes of class X students SMA 2 Mempura.

One of the demands of the Curriculum for teachers in learning, using the learning models appropriate to the characteristics of the material and their students. But the reality on the ground shows teachers generally use methods lectures are teacher centered and less teachers facilitate students to work in groups in learning. One form of the model that can enable students work together in learning is modelInquiry. The purpose of this study was to describe the competence of physics students. This type of research is research action class. The location of the research of SMA Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan. The subject of research grade X with a total of 29 students. The research was conducted by two cycle consists of four steps of research, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Research instrument consisting of a sheet of observation and tests the student's competence. Technique of data analysis was descriptive. Implementation research is held in even-numbered Annual semester Teaching 2013/2014. The results showed an increase in the competence of physics students. The results of the three cycles undertaken showed an increase in the percentage of students who achieve a minimum criterion. The percentage of students who complete learning increased from 36% in cycle I became the 88% in cycle III. The average value of student learning outcomes have also been increased from 66.88 on cycle I became 85.52 cycle III. Thus, it can be concluded the implementation model of inquiry can improve the competence of physics students of class X SMA Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan.

This study aims to improve the ability to recognize numbers through direct learning learning models by playing using number cards in grade I children of SD Negeri 2 Tomohon. This research is a class action research conducted collaboratively. The subject of the research was the first grade students of SD Negeri 2 Tomohon and the design used was the direct learning model. Data retrieval is done by using the test results of learning to sort and match numbers, and observations. The results showed that the direct learning model by playing using number cards can improve the ability to recognize numbers for grade I students of SD Negeri 2 Tomohon. This is indicated by an increase in the value of learning outcomes tests to recognize numbers. The increase that occurred from the test before the action and the first cycle was 50%, and the test after the second cycle was 90%. Based on the results of observations, children can conduct initial activities in the form of grouping number cards based on the color of the number cards and repetition of materials to make a sequence of numbers. The child can do the activity of sorting numbers and matching lots of cards with the symbol of numbers in accordance with what is exemplified by the teacher. In the second cycle the child's ability to recognize numbers has increased as indicated by the child's ability to make sequences of numbers better, that is, can make sequences of numbers without help from the teacher. The use of direct learning models by playing using number cards, in learning to recognize numbers done individually. Learning activities are divided into two, namely making a sequence of numbers using number cards by arranging the number of cards based on the order of numbers and pairing many cards with a symbol of numbers corresponding to how to attach a number card on the board in accordance with the symbol of the numbers listed on the board Keywords: Direct, Learning, Ability to Know Numbers.

This article aims to determine the differences in the results of learning mathematics by using the appropriate learning model in the application of cooperative learning model Number Head Type Togeteher (NHT) and Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) on the subject of Circles at MTs Muhammadiyah Penyasawan, Kampar District. In this research the problem statement is "Are there differences in learning outcomes of mathematics using Cooperative learning models Number Head Together (NHT) and Student Achievement Division (STAD) types in class VIII MTs Muhammadiyah Penyasawan Kampar District on the subject of Circles?" This article uses comparative research which found a difference between the use of Cooperative learning models Number Head Together (NHT) and Student Achievement Division (STAD) types, in this study the researchers played a direct role as teachers in the learning process. In this study Cooperative Learning NHT type is X1 and STAD type is X2 variable and learning result is Y variable. The population of this study is all Muhammadiyah MTS students and the sample used is VIIIA class as a class using Cooperative Learning Type Number Head Together (NHT) and class VIIIB as a class that uses Student Team Achievement Divison (STAD) Type Learning Model. The research subjects were eighth grade eighth grade students and the object was learning outcomes using the cooperative learning type NHT model and learning outcomes using the STAD learning model. The data collection technique is in the form of observation, documentation and tests conducted at the sixth meeting after the learning meeting is complete. This data is processed using the test-t formula and obtained a t value of 4.115 with a significant value of 2.69 where the significant value obtained from the calculation is greater than the significance level α = 0.05, then Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was concluded that there were differences in the mathematics learning outcomes of students using the Cooperative learning model Number Head Together (NHT) and Student Achievement Division (STAD) types on the subject of the Circle at MTs Muhammadiyah Penyasawan Kampar Distric
