Its intensification is associated with overcoming the critical situation in the industry, which will require expanding the variety of tourist products. The potential opportunity for this matter will include active involvement of botanical resources in them, which will enable increasing interest for the existing projects as well as selecting the most promising ones. It is noted that vegetation cover is an integral component of all urbanized territories not used in the full volume in the tourist product of cities despite the resources’ high potential. Cartographic method is presented as the universal, informative, visual and operational-predictive one. The aim of the study. Theoretical substantiation and practical application of geographical and logistical support of urban tourism in the conditions of overtourism on the example of Lviv and the corresponding "Concept of tourism decentralization ". Research methodology. It is based on geographical and logistical categories in relation to urban tourism in the conditions of overtourism, in particular these are indicators of capacity of tourist destination, its resource potential and potential of hotel-restaurant and transport infrastructure, as well as reflection of regional (geographical) features of tourism processes, in particular tourist decentralization, concentration and dispersion. Results of the research. The theoretical concept presented in the article has been practically tested in the practice of tourism in Lviv, in particular on the example of "Concepts of tourism decentralization ". Proposals for optimization and improvement of geospatial organization of tourism in Lviv included: a) vertical and horizontal diversification of tourist flows in the city center, solving the problem of tourist waste, limiting the cases of intim tourism in favor of conference and blogger tourism, finally strengthening the requirements of tourists safety in particular in the areas of their accommodation, food and entertainment. Some of these proposals have already been taken into account in the tourism management of Lviv, so, in 2019, the post of Deputy Mayor for Security was introduced. Scientific novelty. For the first time in Ukraine the phenomenon of overtourism and its impact on urban tourism with the use of logistic and geographical approaches is considered. For the first time the problems of overtourism in the conditions of cities have been identified and the ways of solving this problem on example of Lviv are considered. Practical importance. Theoretical provisions have been applied to solve practical problems of development of tourism industry of big city in conditions of sharp increase of tourists number, as, for example, in Lviv, and a number of practical measures have been proposed to reduce the negative effects of overtourism, in particular the excessive concentration of tourists in the central part of the city, increasing volume of waste, occurrence of intimate tourism, exacerbation of tourist safety problems, etc. Accordingly, it is proposed to expand the tourist territory of the city due to the vertical and horizontal diversification of tourist flows, a diversified approach to determining business tax depending on its location in the city center or on the periphery ("garbage tax"), the development of conference and blogger tourism, increased attention and control of tourist security problems especially in spheres of food, accommodation, transportation, entertainment and more.

AbstractIntroduction. City tourism is one of the most frequently chosen forms of tourism consisting of many motives for doing it. On the modern tourist market, there are many negative phenomena that significantly affect the functioning of urban tourist destinations but primarily have an impact on the decisions of potential tourists about choosing cities as a tourist destination. These phenomena pose a threat to the development of both cities and tourism. They are conditioned by endogenous factors, which result from the functioning of the city, and exogenous ones, i.e. those related to socio-economic relations of the city with the environment, including tourist traffic. Cities, as a destination or transit tourist destination, are characterized by high concentration of tourist traffic; hence, the negative phenomena often affect urban tourist space with great intensity. The aim of the study is to present the author’s concept of sustainable urban tourism policy assumptions. After presenting the concept of sustainable urban tourism development policy, the following issues will be discussed: basics of tourism policy, urban tourism, sustainable tourism, classification of threats related to the sustainable development of urban tourism.Material and methods. The study is of theoretical and conceptual nature. The following research methods will be used: critical analysis of the literature and methods of logical operations.Results. The effect of the considerations is to propose the assumptions of the concept of sustainable urban tourism development policy.Conclusions. The most important problems related to the functioning of sustainable tourism were indicated, taking into account the impact of tourism on the natural environment and on overtourism.

The concept of ecotourism which applies to tourism activities in natural and undisturbed environments, is frequently thought to be antonymous with urban environments, however, can be proven possible. Despite Sabah being well regarded for its ecotourism sector, the concept of urban ecotourism in the city of Kota Kinabalu has yet to be explored. Existing ecotourism destinations in Sabah are facing carrying capacity problems thus there is a growing need to explore new and different destinations or attractions to meet the demand of tourists. This study examined local Kota Kinabalu residents and tourists’ perception and values pertaining to the potential of Kota Kinabalu as an urban ecotourism destination as well as how preservation of green spaces in cities encouraged sustainability using a multi-methodological approach. Based on the results of this study, both respondent groups ranked Kota Kinabalu city as having a high potential as an urban ecotourism destination. In addition, the results of this study could assist decision or policymakers in the local tourism sector with tourism development decisions.
