Social media has progressively grown in the last century and is now seen as a potential opportunity for various purposes, including the decision-making. Present work explores how social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram etc. can be used to support the decision making process of MSMEs. The work is exploratory in nature and relevant literature has been reviewed to identify the decision making approaches at different managerial levels and how they have been integrated with the social media applications. Specific examples of Social media platforms have been discussed, considering the MSMEs’ business environment. Along with the practices, most important challenges to social media integration have also been presented.

Urban tourism is identified as one of the main destinations of the XXI century. Its intensification is associated with overcoming the critical situation in the industry, which will require expanding the variety of tourist products. The potential opportunity for this matter will include active involvement of botanical resources in them, which will enable increasing interest for the existing projects as well as selecting the most promising ones. It is noted that vegetation cover is an integral component of all urbanized territories not used in the full volume in the tourist product of cities despite the resources’ high potential. Cartographic method is presented as the universal, informative, visual and operational-predictive one. The purpose of the study was to create a cartographic interpretation of the botanical resources potential usage for urban tourism development using the example of Khabarovsk. For the first time, a map “Objects with high potential of botanical resources for tourism development in Khabarovsk” (scale 1

Abstract A detailed methodology is presented for modelling the electromagnetic characteristics of HTS coils using angle-dependent critical current data obtained from experimental measurements of real wire samples. The results of such an analysis are contrasted with those obtained using more prevalent approaches such as a global minimum critical current method or an elliptical field magnitude-dependent functional approximation. Several interesting design consequences of significance to real-world devices that emerge only when the full anisotropy of real wires is taken into account are outlined and discussed. These include the beneficial impact on various performance metrics of the adoption of mixed conductor windings, the importance of coil orientation in optimising device performance, and the potential opportunity to derive a specific design benefit from the targeted use of conductors possessing inclined planarity.

Coping with demanding situations is a regular part of managerial work; therefore, training in it ought also to be part of the pre-graduation preparation of students of Management. From a managerial perspective, demanding situations are perceived as either unpleasant or as a potential opportunity for career advancement. This paper presents the results of an experimental research project investigating coping strategies development, specifically among students of Management. An experimental group underwent specific preparation, whereas a control group did not. The experiment was conducted on a research sample of 293 management students using the COPE (b) methodology. The experimental results confirmed statistically significant differences between the ante- and the post-measurement within the experimental group in terms of these five coping strategies: Positive reframing, Active coping, Planning, Humour, and Venting. Within the control group, no significant differences were recorded.

Gaining the capacity to coordinate group research so that from observing the functionality of any system converging on a single best understanding of how that functionality is implemented is reliably achievable, requires a process that is able to analyze that system from a common perspective, such as might be achieved through decomposing that system into a common set of functional components. Human-Centric Functional Modeling provides the potential opportunity to decompose biological systems in this way in order to significantly increase collective ability to derive insight about the behavior of a wide range of biological systems, as well as in order to provide the capacity to derive insights from generalizing an understanding of any one biological systems to any other system or collections of such systems where that understanding might apply. This paper explores the methodology.

Urban agriculture (UA) plays a key role in the circular metabolism of cities, as it can use water resources, nutrients, and other materials recovered from streams that currently leave the city as solid waste or as wastewater to produce new food and biomass. The ecosystem services of urban green spaces and infrastructures and the productivity of specific urban agricultural technologies have been discussed in literature. However, the understanding of input and output (I/O) streams of different nature-based solutions (NBS) is not yet sufficient to identify the challenges and opportunities they offer for strengthening circularity in UA. We propose a series of agriculture NBS, which, implemented in cities, would address circularity challenges in different urban spaces. To identify the challenges, gaps, and opportunities related to the enhancement of resources management of agriculture NBS, we evaluated NBS units, interventions, and supporting units, and analyzed I/O streams as links of urban circularity. A broader understanding of the food-related urban streams is important to recover resources and adapt the distribution system accordingly. As a result, we pinpointed the gaps that hinder the development of UA as a potential opportunity within the framework of the Circular City.

Ethiopia is one of the fastest-growing economies in the world despite immense challenges towards access to sustainable energy supplies and modern energy technologies. The country is undertaking great effort towards the development of renewable energy technologies and green legacy. However, the largest share of energy consumption (≈87%) in Ethiopia is dominated by traditional fuels (charcoal, fuel wood, dung cakes, and agricultural residues) which pose various health and environmental risks. The country has an enormous amount of renewable energy potentials (e.g., solar, hydro, wind and geothermal), but only 5% of its full hydropower potential is exploited and others are not fully harvested or not well developed to date. This review paper provides a comprehensive assessment on renewable energy availability, potential, opportunity, and challenges in Ethiopia. We believe the information provided in this review will enlighten the current and future prospects of renewable energy deployment in Ethiopia.

In Côte d’Ivoire, women occupy an important place in the agricultural sector, which is the basis of the country’s economy. There is unanimous agreement on the essential role that these women must play through their empowerment for the country’s development. Therefore, we must find appropriate solutions to the problem of women’s empowerment in order to enable them to participate vigorously in the country’s development. This study aims to address the problems of women’s empowerment in agriculture by highlighting the potential opportunity that the practice of market gardening represents for women’s empowerment. Based on a qualitative approach using ENV (2019) data, the Women’s Empowerment in Agriculture Index (WEAI) shows that women producer of market garden produce are as self-reliant as their counterparts in other agricultural sub-sectors. In the same logic, the WEAI shows us that the practice of this crop has a positive effect on women’s empowerment. By using these four (4) methods of effect determination, namely the Nearest Neighbour Method, Radius Method, Stratification Method and Kernel Method, the following values were obtained: 0.007; 0.039; 0.017; 0.027, which are all positive. The objective of the study is to determine the impact of market gardening on the empowerment of the women who practice it.

Background – Awareness of a healthy lifestyle and thinking back to nature makes society in Indonesia choose jamu as their daily routine drink. Jamu itself is a term for natural traditional medicine from Indonesia. Unfortunately the types of jamu products are still very limited in variants, have a bitter taste and difficult to find in modern places such as cafes. Currently the Indonesian government provides support in health and fitness tourism business activities in the form of jamu cafes. In addition, the community's desire for entrepreneurship through SMEs is also very large. This is a potential opportunity for startup companies in the field of jamu partnerships (business opportunity). Besides that, risks in this startup business also need to be identified, analyzed and treatment. Method – Using the ISO 31000:2018 risk management approach. Result – This analysis help jamu startup companies (business opportunity) in making the right decisions to mitigate risks, so that the business can be sustainable. Keywords: Risk Management, Startups, Jamu Partnership, Business Opportunity, Indonesia.
