This study aims to analyze the Jambi City community transportation modes' needs and diversity and influencing factors. This study uses primary data and secondary data. Primary data comes from a sample of households in Jambi City. Meanwhile, secondary data comes from related agencies or institutions at the National, Provincial, and City of Jambi levels related to transportation macro conditions. This study uses descriptive statistical analysis to analyze the diversity of transportation modes used in Jambi City. Meanwhile, to analyze the factors that influence transportation mode choice, it is estimated using logit ordinal regression models. The analysis results found that the primary mode of transportation used by the Jambi City community was personal motorbikes. Public transportation is the second choice, and the use of private cars is the third option. The choice of transportation mode is influenced by gender, main activity, car ownership, motorcycle ownership, and household income.

Jakarta is increasingly improving its public transportation services. At present, a breakthrough in the development of transportation has been made, especially related to the protocol road. These include expanding Transjakarta routes, Mass Rapid Transit, and Light Rail Transit. The addition of the number of modes of transportation has an impact on the addition of the number of stations or stops. However, it does not match by the availability of the government in procuring land for connecting transportation modes into deeper areas. The formal and informal transportation providers as an introduction to integrated transportation users still use the highway corridor as their place to raise, lower, and wait for passengers. Not yet found a place to raise, lower, and wait for those around the top of the officially integrated mode of transportation from the government or service providers. Therefore, this study was conducted to see how the division of land used by providers of the integrated transportation mode connector. This research method is to observe the spread of land use providers of formal and informal transportation services.

This study aims to determine the perceptions of users of transportation modes on language use at airports, stations, terminals, and ports in nine cities in Indonesia and to find out how far the application of language usage rules is applied to transportation modes. The method used in this study is a quantitative and descriptive qualitative approach. The research data is carried out by primary data collection in the field, namely the perception (view) of the users of transportation modes at airports, stations, terminals, and ports. The results of the study show that there are six cities (still dominant) agreeing on the use of Indonesian in the modes of air, sea, land and rail transportation. Then, there are two cities that even strongly agree on the use of Indonesian in the mode of transportation. Furthermore, there is one city that states that it is not agreeable to use Indonesian. Thus, perceptions of language users in transportation modes predominantly have high weight values. So, users of the transportation mode still have the concern to maintain or prioritize the use of Indonesian instead of foreign languages. Meanwhile, regional languages can also be used as a third language in the area rather than in the capital city.

This chapter presents a study on the transportation mode choice behaviour of individuals with different socio-economic status. A previously developed system dynamics model has been adopted by differentiating the population mass into upper, middle, and lower classes. The simulation experiments with the model revealed that generally the upper class individuals would be more inclined to use a private car (PC) instead of public transportation (PT) when their tendency is compared to middle and lower class individuals. It was also observed that lower class individuals would be more willing to use PT instead of PC when their tendency is compared to middle and upper class individuals. As such, it would be difficult to encourage the upper class individuals to use PT instead of PC, and it would be successively easier to do so in the case of middle and lower class individuals. However, the results also indicated that under certain different circumstances, the upper class individuals would also prefer to go for PT, and the lower class ones could prefer to own and use PC instead of PT.

After the Anthropocene, human settlements will likely have less available energy to move people and things. This paper considers the feasibility of five modes of transportation under two energy-constrained scenarios. It analyzes the effects transportation mode choice is likely to have on the size of post-Anthropocene human settlements, as well as the role speed and energy play in such considerations. I find that cars, including battery-electric cars, are not feasible under a highly energy-constrained scenario, that buses, metros, and walking are feasible but will limit human settlement size, and that cycling is likely the only mode of transportation that would make suburbs possible in an energy-constrained post-Anthropocene scenario.

Kata Kunci: Regulasi, Ojek Online, Filsafat, Fenomenologi, Hukum   Review of Online Ojek Regulation in Indonesia from the Perspective of Phenomenological Philosophy of Law Abstract Public transportation modes are experiencing technological developments that make it easy for prospective passengers to access. The change and development of transportation modes from conventional totransportation online is a form of social change phenomenon that is created as an innovation because of the desire to gain convenience in using public transportation. However, the operations oftransportation service providers are online considered illegal because from the start they did not meet the provisions of article 1 number 21 of Law Number 22 Year 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation (LLAJ Law) because this company does not have a business license as a public transportation service provider. Not yet clear on the problem with the provisions of laws and regulations related tomotorcycle taxi operations online, in 2019 the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia issued Ministerial Regulation Number 12 of 2019 concerning Safety Protection of Motorcycle Users Used in Public Interest. This Ministerial Regulation disregards the clutter of other laws and regulations as a new breakthrough which is expected to be a solution to the problem of regulatingmotorcycle taxis online. Does this ministerial regulation really solve the legality problem ofmotorcycle taxis online in Indonesia, or does it add to the problem of existing legal regulations in Indonesia, given that this ministerial regulation clearly contradicts the LLAJ Law which hierarchically constitutes a higher regulation. Based on legal problems related to the regulation ofmotorcycle taxis online, the authors are interested in conducting research on the legal need to regulatemotorcycle taxis online in Indonesia based on the perspective of the philosophy of legal phenomena. This study uses a prescriptive normative legal writing method. The type of data used is secondary data using qualitative analysis techniques. This research produces a legal reference in the form of a review of regulations formotorcycle taxis online in Indonesia from the perspective of the philosophy of legal phenomena. The Presence of online transportation brings a new problem in Indonesia transportation market competition, many conventional transportation drivers, such as taxis, buses, motorcycle taxis, city transportation (Angkot) that reject the presence of online-based transportation. For conventional transportation drivers, the existence of online transportation has reduced their income because people prefer to use online transportation rather than conventional transportation. As the power holder, the government certainly has the right and authority to regulate and create policy harmonization for public transportation. This study uses qualitative method where primary data is obtained from 8 months observations, from November 2017 to June 2018. Secondary data are obtained from transportation ministerial regulations, regional regulations issued by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, and various discourses that developed in the media mass. Various data obtained are then sorted or filtered and crosschecked against other data. Based on our findings, the government has not been arranged adequate political space, especially for conventional transportation and online transportation in Jakarta. The slow pace of the central government to revise regulations regarding online transportation has triggered serious conflicts in the community. Digital revolution in the dimensions of online transportation in the public interest is what should be an integral part of previous government policies, and that never happened.

The mode of transportation is one very important factor in accelerating the socioeconomic growth of a region. Surabaya is the capital of East Java Province and is one of the largest cities on the island of Java. The city of Surabaya which bears as the capital provides a variety of infrastructure facilities in an effort to serve the community, especially in the field of transportation. Some of the modes of transportation that are developing in this city are trains and buses with routes in several small cities in East Java. In this study the authors wanted to know the characteristics of the community in the use of rail and bus transportation modes from the direction of Madiun-Surabaya. This study uses a questionnaire instrument with sampling techniques Solvin, Issac Michael and Morgan, then data analysis using descriptive models. From the results of the study, it is known that the characteristics of the community based on the price attribute mostly use bus transportation, based on the attribute of the timeliness of choosing a train and based on the hadway and the frequency tends to be the same.

We present a methodology to study the choice of transportation mode. It is dynamic and allows inherent fluctuations in individual behavior to play a role. The methodology has a deterministic aspect which yields the time evolution of the number of users for a transportation mode and it is based on certain assumptions about the attractivities of each mode, but it is always subject to fluctuations in human behavior. The problem then is to find the solutions of the deterministic equations describing the system and to examine the evolutionary path the system will take. Two models of competition between transportation-mode choice are developed to illustrate the methodology and to justify the dynamic approach to travel choice.

Purpose: this study aims to examine the community's decision to migrate between regions in the Jabodetabek area using the KRL Commuterline public transportation and analyse regional criteria based on regional development based on Oriented Development Transit, where these criteria become integration with community movements in migrating to an area. Methods: secondary data is used to fnd the number of people in migrating obtained from pt. Kai Indonesia. While to complete and explain each variable to be studied using primary data with several questions through a questionnaire submitted to 398 people who migrate between regions using logistic regression analysis techniques in their measurements. While to analyze the criteria for regional development in each region using an assessment approach from the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy. With qualitative analysis techniques and to assist in this research, a spatial approach is used which is used to display a picture of the distribution of migration. Results: (1) Regional development in each part of the Jabodetabek area is in the silver standard category which indicates that the regional development project has almost met the performance targets that have been conceptualized by the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy. (2) People in making decisions to migrate between regions will be affected by the variables of distance, travel costs, gender, travel time, migration destination and regional development, while age and transit distance cannot provide a large enough influence on people's movements in migrating. Conclusions and Relevance: the results of the study prove that regional development in the Jabodetabek area tends to be a non-metropolitan area where people who move prefer areas that are integrated with public facilities that lead to the destination rather than towards the metropolitan area, this is evidenced by the standard silver criteria obtained in the area in Jabodetabek.
