This study aims to find out the developmentof brochure-based teaching materials on persuasive text in grade 7th students. The object of this study is grade 7th students of Dwi Tunggal Tanjung Morawa. The result shows that The process of developing the development of brochure-based teaching materials on persuasive text material was carried out in three stages, namely the preliminary study phase, the initial product development and product testing. At the stage of the preliminary study an analysis of the needs of teachers and students was carried out. The results of the needs analysis obtained data that 100% of teachers and students of Junior High School Dwi Tunggal Tanjung Morawa need teaching materials in the Indonesian language learning companion. In the initial product development stage, product design and product validation were carried out to 2 material experts and 2 media design experts. After the validation process, the product is declared feasible for testing. In the third stage, product testing was carried out in three ways, namely individual trials, small group trials and limited field trials. Individual trials obtained an average percentage of 88.19% with the category "Very good", the small group trial received an average percentage of 89.58% with the category "Very Good". Limited field trials received an average percentage of 91.01% with the category "Very Good". Based on these data, obtained appropriate teaching materials to be used by teachers and students in learning.

The excretion system are completely abstractive and complex, so it is desirable a tool that can visualize the excretion process and enable students to understand the modules well. The using of picture storybook is potential to increase the interest and activities of students. The response is a measurable reaction produced by somebody in analyzing an object that can generate an attitude. So, the purpose of this study is to investigate students’ responses to the picture storybook as a part of the teaching material which can facilitate students' thinking. This study involved the seven steps: the introduction, planning, and development of the initial product, initial field trial, revision on the main product, field trial, and revision on the operational product. The field trial was conducted to determine students’ responses to the dimension of cognitive, affective, and conative aspects through exploring three secondary schools around Pontianak, Indonesia.  Subjects in this study were students in grade 8 who had been educated with an excretion system with a total number of three students in each school for the initial field trials; while there were 12 students from each school for the main field trials. Instruments used in this study were a validation paper and a student response form. The results of the initial field trial showed the cognitive aspects (84.57%); the affective aspects (89.38%); and the conative aspects (89.46%). The implication of this research was about the possibility to use a picture storybook for increasing students' interests in science learning that we examined by the subject categories

Student worksheet usually in printed form, while Electronic student worksheet in digital form, so it could be accessed anywhere using the internet network. This study aims to develop and determine suitability of Electronic worksheets on fractional number material in grade 4th. Type of research is R&D using the 4-D Thiagarajan and Sammel model which consists of four step, 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Develop, 4) Disseminate. The subjects of this research were 4th grade students of SDN Menteng Atas 01 Pagi. Data instruments in the form of observations, interviews, expert review and student response questionnaires. The expert review process is carried out on material, media, and language experts. The average result of the three experts is 86.20% and can be interpreted as "very feasible". The COVID-19 virus pandemic has made the field trial process only using the zoom application, namely with one to one evaluation and small group. The results of each field trial are 83.66% and 88.54%, which means "very feasible". Based on the test result of GEBEKA Electronic student worksheet, it is appropriate to use it as for learning fractional number material in grade 4th Elementary School.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the development of LKS nuanced quantum teaching and increased student interest and learning outcomes. This research uses educational development method with 4D Models Thiagarajan, but only consists of 3 (three) stages, namely the defining stage, the planning stage, and the developing and disseminating stages. The population and sample are grade IV students. Data collection instruments used consisted of LKS validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, student interest questionnaires, student interest observation sheets, pretest and posttest. Data analysis uses a Likert scale by changing quantitative values into qualitative values. The results of this study note that the results of the product development in the field of quantum teaching have a very good category so that it is feasible to be used as teaching material in science lessons. Students are very interested in the product development of LKS nuanced quantum teaching as the results of the average percentage of students' interest in LKS is 85.42%. The results of LKS development products have been able to improve student learning outcomes as the results of the average percentage of pretest practice questions by 51.94% and in posttest practice questions by 73.78%.

Field test of particle impact drilling (PID) technology was firstly carried out in deep well and hard formation in Sichuan province china on Oct. 2013. The test formation was named Xu Jiahe, which was very difficult to penetration. Field test result shows that the ROP (rate of penetration) was nearly doubled by this technology. It indicates that there is a profound application prospect of particle impact drilling, especially for hard rock formation. In this paper, the equipment and working principle was analyzed. The experiment and simulation results showed that the rock breaking efficiency was highly increased by this technology. The details of this field test were presented too in this paper that proved the sound effect of PID.

This paper represents a preliminary study of the botany, natural history and taxane chemistry of the Mexican yew, Taxus globosa Schltdl. Taxonomic history, morphological comparison to other North American species and ecological habitat are discussed. Chemical study involved leaf and twig material from forty-nine plants from three localities in Mexico. Levels of taxol, cephalomannine and baccatin III were determined by HPLC analysis. Intrapopulational variation was found to be very high while mean taxane levels for each of the three populations were very similar. The average percentage of taxol in leaves of T. globosa is higher than in all other species of Taxus (0.0121% dry wt.).
