<p align="center">Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan pengembangan kosakata Bahasa Inggris dan kualitas penggunaan <em>cartoon strips</em> sebagai media dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Penelitian adalah penelitian RnD (Penelitian dan Pengembangan). Sebanyak 37 siswa kelas X SMKN 1 Sanggau sebagai subyek penelitian ini. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengikuti tujuh langkah penelitian, meliputi : 1) penelitian dan pengumpulan data,  2) perencanaan,  3) pengembangan produk awal,  4) uji coba awal,  5) revisi desain,  6) uji coba lapangan, dan  7) revisi dan penyempurnaan produk. Hasil analisis kebutuhan mengungkapkan bahwa subjek membutuhkan media yang nyata dengan warna yang menarik. Temuan lainya menunjukkan bahwa produk media pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Inggris berupa <em>cartoon strips</em> layak digunakan bagi siswa SMK. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa cartoon strips dapat diaplikasikan sebagai media dalam proses pembelajaran kosakata Bahasa Inggris di kelas.</p><br /><p align="center"><strong> </strong></p><p align="center"><em>Abstract</em></p><p><em>The purpose of this research was  to describe the development of English vocabulary and the quality of </em><em>cartoon strips</em><em> for media in English teaching learning process. This research was  a  Research and Development (RnD). The subjects were </em><em>37</em><em> students in the </em><em>X</em><em>  grade state of </em><em>SMKN 1 Sanggau</em><em>. This research development followed seven steps including: 1) researching and collecting data, 2) planning, 3) initial product development,</em><em> </em><em>4) initial trial, 5) revision, 6) field trial, 7) revision and completion of product. Based on need analysis, students need colorfull and interesting media. E-learning gives alternative solution for some educational problems, with the function which can adjust as necessary, as a supplement, complement, and substitution teaching-learning.  The learning process by online used e-learning can make the students learn will independently so that teaching-learning can change the students centered learning. This research was conducted to develop teaching-learning in physics senior high school, based e-learning on technology in Lampung. The research design used to research and development model started with doing need assessment, identification of resources, identification product specification, product development, internally tested to see validation of product, external tested to see the use of the product, and the last stage production. The result of the tested the product showed that had validated by an expert, proper to used and interested (3,25); easy to use (3,24); and useful (3,31). The product was effectively tested to use in teaching learning with percentage 88,82%.E-Learning memberikan solusi alternatif bagi permasalahan pendidikan, dengan fungsi yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan, baik sebagai suplemen, komplemen, serta substitusi kegiatan pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran secara online menggunakan E-Learning dapat melatih peserta didik untuk belajar secara mandiri, sehingga pembelajaran dapat beralih kepada pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk  mengembangkan program pembelajaran fisika SMA berbasis e-learning dengan schoology di Lampung. Desain penelitian  menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan, yang dimulai dengan melakukan analisis kebutuhan, identifikasi sumber daya, identifikasi spesifikasi produk, pengembangan produk, uji internal untuk melihat kelayakan produk, uji eksternal untuk melihat kebermanfaatan produk, dan tahap terakhir produksi. Hasil dari uji produk menunjukkan bahwa produk tervalidasi ahli, layak digunakan dan menarik (3,25); mudah digunakan (3,24); dan bermanfaat (3,31). Produk teruji efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan persentase mencapai 88,82%.

PENGEMBANGAN E-SCAFFOLDING UNTUKMENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PROSES DAN HASIL BELAJARAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk E-Scaffolding untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses dan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada Mata Kuliah Fisika Matematika. mata kuliah fisika yang menjadi pokok bahasan pada penelitian ini adalah Fisika matematika khususnya pada pokok bahasan integral lipat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan e-scaffolding adalah Research and Development. Desain tersebut meliputi 4 tahapan, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, desain model , pengembangan model, validasi, revisi dan uji coba produk Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi dari ahli materi dan ahli media, angket, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan sebuah e-scaffolding, yakni produk pendukung pembelajaran online dengan menggunakan website dan fasilitas scaffolding. Hasil uji kelayakan menunjukan menunjukkan nilai yang sangat baik dari ahli media dan sangat layak dari ahli materi. Penggunaan e-scaffolding memang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. Hasil analisis kualitas proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan e-scaffolding juga menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dibandingkan dengan menggunakan pembelajaran direct instruction.Kata kunci: E-scaffolding, hasil belajar, Fisika MatematikaAbstractThis study was aimed at developing E-scaffolding to improve the quality of the process and product of students’ learning of Physical Methematics. The physics subject of this study was Physical Mathematics focusing on the topic of repeated integral. The method used to develop the E-scaffolding was Research and Development. The design covered 4 stages, namely need analysis, model design, model development and validation, and revision and product testing. The research instruments used in this study were validation sheets from material and media experts, questionnaires, and tests. The results of the study generates an E-scaffolding, which is a product of online learning aids using website and scaffolding facilities. The feasibility test results show that the E-scaffolding is categorized into the very good category tested by the media experts and the highly feasible category tested by the material experts. The use of E-scaffolding is able to improve the students’ learning outcomes and the quality of the classroom teaching learning process. The results of the quality analysis of the learning process using E-scaffolding also shows an improvement compared to the use of the direct instruction method.Keywords: E-scaffolding, learning outcome, Physical Mathematics

Abstrak Penelitian pengembangan lembar kegiatan peserta didik (LKPD) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas belajar peserta didik, menggunakan konsep mind mapping yang maksimal, mampu menciptakan proses belajar yang aktif, dan menyenangkan pada pembelajran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA Al Azhar kelas XII. Pengembangan LKPD pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berkonsep mind mapping digunakan sebagai media bahan ajar untuk membantu peserta didik atau mempermudah peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Dengan begitu, peserta didik cenderung tidak kesulitan ketika pembelajaran tanpa adanya acuan media bahan ajar (LKPD). Pengembangan LKPD dalam penelitian ini menggunakan konsep mind mapping yaitu suatu peta konsep pikiran yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran mudah mengingat banyak informasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang mengacu pada model penelitian dan pengembangan Dick and Carey. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskripsi kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan LKPD dengan konsep mind mapping pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia layak digunakan sebagai media ajar guna meningkatkan kualitas belajar peserta didik. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi menyatakan LKPD layak digunakan dengan persentase sebesar 76,36%, sedangkan dari ahli desain media pembelajaran diperoleh tingkat pencapaian kelayakan sebesar 84,44%. Uji kelayakan teman sejawat mencapai 83,63% dan uji coba pada peserta didik kelas XII SMA Al Azhar diperoleh tingkat pencapaian kelayakan sebesar 93,9%. Kata kunci: lembar kegiatan peserta didik, konsep mind mapping, bahasa Indonesia   Abstract The research on the development of student activity sheets (LKPD) aims to improve the quality of learning of students, use the maximum mind mapping concept, is able to create an active and enjoyable learning process in learning Indonesian in Al Azhar High School class XII. The development of LKPD on Indonesian language subjects with mind mapping concept is used as a medium of teaching materials to help students or facilitate students in learning. That way, students tend to have no difficulties when learning without reference to the instructional material media (LKPD). The development of LKPD in this study uses the concept of mind mapping, which is a mind concept map that is used in the learning process easily remembering a lot of information. This research is a research and development that refers to the Dick and Carey research and development model. Data was analyzed by using quantitative description. The results of this study revealed that Indonesian Language LKPD Lessons Conceptual Mind Mapping is worthy of being used as a teaching media to improve the learning quality of students. The results of the validation from the material expert stated that the LKPD was feasible to use with a percentage of 76.36%, while the expert of learning media design obtained an attainment level of 84.44%. Peers' feasibility test reached 83.63% and trials on class XII students of Al Azhar High School obtained an achievement level of 93.9%. This research aims to develop a "model of educative and attractive physical activity" (Majeda) based on children play as a mean for optimize kindergarteners’ growth and development. This research was using research and development of Borg and Gall. The research will be conducted in three stages: developing model, pilotting models, and the operational testing and dissemination of models. First phase of research to develop the model implemented by the following activities: preparing the model design, reviewing aspects of the teaching learning process in kindergarten, characteristics of kindergarterners, and the values and elements of motion in children play, choosing the format of Majeda, and validating the draft of Majeda. The result of analysis showed that the design of Majeda based on children play can be arranged, then validated by experts and practitioners.

  Abstract The evolution of teaching is currently considered a very important task, both from an institutional and a moral viewpoint. The evaluation of such a domain, and its conduct, has been reported by several research studies in the literature. “Who? What? How? Drawing from which references? Which clues? Should the people assessed take part in the process? To what extent should the results be publicized?” (Demailly, 2001). For that reason, we will first draw some guidelines for the evaluation of teaching and try to define its possible objectives. Three main domains may be contemplated: teachers’ activity (teaching), the learning process (learning), and the effects of the teaching/learning process. These draw upon an enquiry carried out in three different faculties by our research team. This study is related to the VOLUBILIS project "Moroccan and European students: a comparative approach”, which aims to identify the challenges and expectations of Moroccan students. The purpose of this research is to indicate how students at Hassan II University of Casablanca judge the quality of their studies. We will be able to show that an evaluation of courses by students is both possible and profitable. As a matter of fact, this enquiry has brought up valuable information about higher education pedagogy that concerns the three fields mentioned earlier, and it also offer some suggestions to generate improvements. English has won the status of International language. The quality of our expression depends on our use of speaking skills. The importance and value of speaking English have been accepted worldwide. In Pakistan, Teaching English was mainly focused upon reading and writing skills. But in today’s world, listening and speaking skills have become much more important than in the past. Recently, the value of role-play in the classroom situation has become mandatory to make the teaching-learning process easy, attractive, and interesting. The implementation of role-play was expected to be an effective way to improve the learners’ speaking skills. So in the present study, the focus is on this matter whether the use of role play can be beneficial in bringing a positive change in the teaching-learning process of speaking skills for elementary level learners. The collective problems of the teachers and students during speaking English were the main focus of the study. 360 students and twenty teachers of Bahawalpur region participated in this study. Pre-test, post-test, and questionnaire were used as a tool to collect the data from the respondents. The findings of the study showed that there was a significant difference between pre-test and post-test results. It was suggested that speech practice with the help of role play should be encouraged at the elementary level.

This paper is my endeavour to shorten the gap between the realities in my own teaching practices and those practices presented in books and research reports as effective English teaching. In this paper, through narrative inquiry method of writing, I will refer to my experiences to show my way of knowing as well as my way of writing the specific contexts of my teaching of English. Here and then, I may show my subjectivity upon certain issues in the English teaching-learning process but I do this to enable myself go deeper to my personal values. Nonetheless, for the betterment of my classroom practices specifically and the teaching of English for Islamic studies in Indonesia, in general, my inquiry on my own professional practices and the insights on how I should see and make some changes in my teaching as specified by the AAA perspective discussed in details will become a very good start.

Este trabalho tem por objetivo compreender as metodologias e abordagens teóricas utilizadas pelos docentes das Instituições de Ensino Superior da cidade de Maringá-PR para ministrar a disciplina da Administração da Produção e Operações (APO). O trabalho adota uma pesquisa qualitativa, na qual entrevistas semiestruturadas foram aplicadas com nove docentes que ministram a disciplina de APO em seis instituições da cidade. Os resultados apresentaram as metodologias de ensino utilizadas pelos docentes para ministrar o conteúdo, contribuindo para as instituições avaliarem os desafios que possuem no processo ensino-aprendizagem, bem como realizar uma análise dessas práticas, impactando na qualidade do ensino. Essa avaliação influencia na matriz curricular e ementa das instituições pesquisadas do curso de Administração, pois algumas concepções e ferramentas dos sistemas de produção não são ministradas pelos professores por não comporem o conteúdo programático da disciplina, impactando na qualidade do processo ensino-aprendizagem. Por fim, o artigo colabora com a discussão qualitativa da educação brasileira, contribuindo para que as instituições reflitam sobre o ensino e a formação do administrador no contexto atual. The aim of this article is to understand the methodologies and theoretical approaches used by the teachers of the Institutions of Higher Education in the city of Maringá-PR to minister the discipline of the Production and Operations Management (POM). The study adopts a qualitative research, in which semi-structured interviews were applied with nine professors that minister the POM discipline in six institutions of the city. The results presented the teaching methodologies used by the teachers to deliver the content, contributing to the institutions to evaluate the challenges they have in the teaching-learning process, as well as to carry out an analysis of these practices, impacting on the quality of teaching. This evaluation influences in the curricular matrix and the menu of the researched institutions of the Administration course, since some conceptions and tools of the production systems are not taught by the teachers because they do not make up the programmatic content of the discipline, impacting on the quality of the teaching-learning process. Finally, the article contributes to the qualitative discussion of Brazilian education, contributing to the institutions' reflection on the teaching and formation of the administrator in the current context.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran patiseri pada standar kompetensi mengolah kue pastry kontinental untuk siswa tingkat XI SMK yang layak dari aspek pembelajaran, materi, dan media; 2) mengetahui keefektifan multimedia pembelajaran patiseri yang dikembangan terhadap penguasaan kompetensi belajar mengolah kue pastry kontinental dilihat dari peningkatan skor tes hasil belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Subyek penelitian adalah 36 siswa, untuk uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba lapangan. Validasi produk dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif.Hasil penilaian ahli materi dan ahli media menunjukkan bahwa kualitas multimedia “baik”. Penilaian siswa pada uji coba lapangan mengenai kualitas multimedia dari aspek pembelajaran, aspek materi dan aspek media “sangat baik“, dengan rerata skor dari ketiga aspek 4,49. Hasil pretes menunjukkan rerata sebesar 63,15 sedangkan rerata pada posttes sebesar 89,07. N-gain sebesar 0,72 termasuk kategori “tinggi”. Kesimpulannya: multimedia pembelajaran patiseri hasil pengembangan layak dignakan untuk media pembelajaran dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. DEVELOPING PATISSERIE TEACHING MULTIMEDIA FOR GRADE XI STUDENTS OF SMKAbstractThe research aims to: 1) develop the patisserie teaching multimedia at the standard competency for continental pastry for eleventh grade vocational students in patisserie program which is appropriate in terms of teaching aspect, material aspect, and media aspet; 2) reveal the effectiveness of the developed patisserie teaching multimedia at the standard competency forcontinental pastry, which is seen from the increase in the learning achievement test score. This research is a research and development. The subjects of the research are 36 students.The students are devided into two groups: small group trials and field trials. The data were analyzed by using the discriptive technique.The results of the product validation from the material expert and media expert show that the quality of the developed patisserie teaching multimedia is “good”. The assessment of the students on the field trial of the quality of the multimedia from the teaching aspect, material aspect and media aspect get the score “very good”. This shows that the quality of the developed patisserie teaching multimedia is in a “very good” category. The average score from the three aspects is 4.49 and it can be used as a patisserie teaching multimedia. The students’ average score from the pretest is 63.25 while from the posttest is 89.07. Based on the pretest and posttest scores the n-gain is 0.72, and it is included in a “high category”. Therefore the patisserie teaching multimedia is effective to improve the students’ learning achievement.
