An international review of the formation of transnational educational mobility in higher education abroad is analyzed. The research results by foreign scientists dealing with this empirical issue are presented. The role of educational mobility in the formation of transnational human and cultural capital, the influence of educational mobility on the formation of an individual educational and career path of a person is shown on the example of such countries as: Great Britain, USA, China, Australia and Western European countries. Transnational educational mobility is considered in the context of the formation of cultural capital as the acquisition of international experience, the expansion of linguistic and professional knowledge, the development of social and intercultural skills that contribute to the creation of a new cultural identity and the strengthening of transnational identity, personality identification. Giving rise to cosmopolitanism, person’s educational mobility contributes to the creation of a new cultural identity and transnational identification strengthening. A man who is able to see and understand intercultural differences, to solve intercultural problems, is able to form his identity in the context of intercultural and multicultural relations. It is emphasized that with the development of transnational educational mobility, the term “international professional competence” appears in the scientific and pedagogical literature, associated with the formation of transversal personality skills. Transversal skills are analyzed as basic skills, independent of a person’s professional qualifications and not tied to any particular profession, but are applicable to a wide range of situations in life. It is emphasized that the strengthening of cross-border educational mobility is observed not only in the public sector of higher education, but also in the private sector, which contributes to an increase in the number of educational institutions leading to the expansion of availability of higher education and obtaining various academic degrees and titles.

In the light of #FeesMustFall, decolonisation has come to the fore in the South African higher education landscape. Decolonisation proposes the overthrow of entrenched European power relations in higher education and the study of fairy tales within a pre-service teaching degree in a university English curriculum provides an ideal opportunity for lecturers to challenge this dominance. All too often, cultural fairy tales are analysed and studied within the European trajectory of the structuralist/formalist classification tradition, often rendering the tale to an oversimplified outline which has been reduced to archetypes, motifs and memes which are universalised across cultures and texts. Epistemic awareness of Afrikology has been suggested as a way of facilitating the inclusion of Afrocentric thinking in the English curriculum and giving pre-service teachers a voice in their own learning. The purpose of this paper is to track the creation of context-relevant cultural capital in the writing of fairy tales. An analysis of the results shows that deep critical engagement with the cultural metaphors presented in fairy tales leads to the development of Afrocentric cultural capital that is highly contextualised and rooted in the language and customs of the cultural identity of the writers who transcoded the fairy tales.

The article analyzes the concept of training translation as a means of forming the professional competence of future philologists in the context of Turkish-Russian bilingualism. It is revealed that the using of training translation, along with the methods of comparison and comparative studying, could have made the contribution to the development of students’s communicative personality. It is emphasized that in the functional bilingualism’s conditions modernized training translation has a positive effect on the creation of an assertive educational environment. It also helps to overcome the cultural and speech shock. The features of the using of this method during the study of Russian as a foreign language are considered as well. A wide range of scientific, methodological and linguistic sources has been analyzed, on the basis of which a classification of bilingual translation exercises has been proposed.

The purpose of this text is to reflect on the need for institutional articulation between museum and university. It seeks to emphasize the pertinence of the approximation between culture, social phenomena and curriculum of Higher Education, having as assumptions the concepts of Social Museology, the critical and contemporary perspective of curriculum and reflections on the university, shared, above all, by the Brazilian philosopher Álvaro Vieira Pinto and the Spanish philosopher José Ortega y Gasset. The university, just as the museum, formulates and communicates meanings through speeches. Both institutions are then producers and generators of meanings. By promoting discussions and conceptual arrangements that reveal reality and reflections on different areas of knowledge, the museum can re-signify the discourse built at the university and the public participating in this process (students, faculty, museum audience), in addition to redefining the discourse in a creative way, since it interprets it in a particular and opportune way. This character of public instruction gives the museum even more legitimacy for the construction of new narratives, and the university is even closer to its formative role for the creation of social protagonists from different segments. Keywords: Museum; University; Culture; Curriculum.

Introduction. The article deals with the problem of using an interdisciplinary approach to future pharmacists’ professional training in the system of teach-ing professional disciplines in modern universities, in particular during practical classes. To solve the main tasks of interdisciplinary integration, consistency and systematicity in the study of professional disciplines, adaptation of the presented material in an accessible form for a wide range of students, use of active learning meth-ods, introduction of modern information technologies in teaching professional disciplines of Pharmacy are im-portant. The main teachers’ work at an educational estab-lishment is aimed at obtaining a quality product of their work, namely – a high-class specialist in practical Phar-macy, whose work requires the same comprehensive approach in solving situational problems that arise in the working order. The relevance of the study is due to the need to im-prove the process of interdisciplinary approach to training future specialists in the pharmaceutical industry in the teaching of professional disciplines, because teaching a professionally oriented set of disciplines should be aimed at forming a holistic comprehensive perception of educa-tional material. The purpose of the article is to analyze scientific and methodological sources on the formation of an interdisci-plinary approach to future pharmacists’ training in the system of teaching professional disciplines and justify the importance of using this approach in the formation of future specialist’s professional competence in the phar-maceutical industry. Methods. Theoretical and empirical. Results. The implementation of interdisciplinary links in educational activities is one of the necessary didactic tools for the formation of students’ professional knowledge and skills, that helps to use time rationally and promotes the best and stronger assimilation of educa-tional material needed by students in further practical activities. But for this method to be effective, one needs a comprehensive approach to its study and development, practical experience of teachers of professional disci-plines, painstaking research work, cooperation with other educational establishments and pharmaceutical institu-tions and, of course, a motivating moment for both stu-dents and teachers. Originality. The own experience of using the interdis-ciplinary approach in the academy confirms the im-portance of its use in the process of forming the profes-sional competence of the future graduate of medical estab-lishments of higher education. It also provides an oppor-tunity to change the approaches to the preparation and conduct of final control and state certification of graduates of the specialty 226 Pharmacy, to increase motivation for self-education and self-improvement of both students and teachers. Conclusion. Summarizing the above mentioned, we can say that one of the priority areas of training students majoring in Pharmacy is an interdisciplinary approach, which currently needs updating, improvement and imple-mentation to use. After all, the use of interdisciplinary technologies for the training of future pharmacists allows to raise it to a qualitatively new level of clinical thinking, able to comprehensively solve the problems of pharmaceu-tical practice on the basis of broad integration in the study of various disciplines. Among the prospects for further study of this problem is the study of the use of interdisci-plinary integration in theoretical and practical classes.

This address examines a growing problem in academia: the public targeted online harassment of faculty. This harassment, organized and carried out by the alt-right and supported by other sectors of the right wing across the spectrum from mainstream to extreme, are intended to silence faculty and censor the curriculum. I examine a range of contextual factors that have facilitated this phenomenon, and discuss the experiences of seven other people, as well as myself, all with connections to higher education, that have experienced this unique form of attack. These conversations provide insight into the patterns evident in the form of the attack, individual and university responses, and informed the creation of lists of recommendations for those experiencing, preparing, and responding to attacks.
