The article presents a method for calculating the technical condition of the tower crane on the basis of integrated monitoring of the mechanisms of the lifting structure using a digital model.The use of information technologies allows to take a new look at the issues of ensuring the safe operation of lifting mechanisms. Due to the application of these technologies, a qualitatively new method of calculating the technical condition of tower cranes on the basis of an integral-differential approach, which takes into account the score of defects, according to the regulatory documentation, is proposed. The concept of the technical condition index of the tower crane (TCItc), as an integral indicator reflecting the general condition of the nodes and mechanisms of the crane, is introduced. The use of information technologies to calculate the technical condition index of tower cranes makes it possible to integrate the geometric parameters of the tower crane and a mathematical algorithm for their evaluation, which results in a quantitative assessment of defects formed during the operation of tower cranes.

The widespread introduction of information technologies in the systems that manage technical fleets, the use of maintenance and repair systems based on risk assessment, is based on the calculation of a large enough number of indicators. Modern locomotives are equipped with systems for monitoring and diagnosing technical condition. Combining these systems with the Internet of Things and Big Data technologies provides an opportunity to use completely new approaches to fleet management. At the initial stage of the construction of such systems, it is necessary to devise criteria that make it possible to automatically determine the technical condition of a locomotive and its components in order to identify the locomotive in the total fleet that requires maintenance or repair. A procedure has been proposed for calculating the technical condition index of locomotives and their components based on data from monitoring systems. The procedure is based on the formation of latent diagnostic parameters employing the principal component method and on the subsequent calculation of the weight coefficients of these parameters applying the method of hierarchy analysis. The special feature of the proposed procedure is that when calculating the index, those latent diagnostic parameters are used that are derived from the group of control parameters whose weight coefficients are computed using the method of hierarchy analysis without involving experts. This paper reports the results from calculating the informativeness of the diagnostic parameters of load, loss, input, as well as their weight coefficients. The highest information content, from 0.5 to 0.85, is demonstrated by the load parameter; the smallest (0.05‒0.26) ‒ the input parameter. The average value and the dependences of changes in the technical condition index of a hydraulic transmission during the tests have been determined. Analysis of the technical condition index makes it possible to assess the transmission's response to changes in test modes, the dynamics of changes in losses

Problems of ensuring the safe operation of an aircraft from the point of view of the fatigue life of its structure are considered. The relevance of the creation and implementation of diagnostic systems for monitoring the technical condition of structures of complex technical objects is shown on the example of a helicopter. An original approach to the creation and implementation of complex systems for diagnostics and monitoring of the technical condition of complex technical objects is presented, combining fiber-optic measuring technology and phase-chronometric method. It is shown that the use of monitoring and diagnostic systems ensures the transition to operation based on the actual technical condition. The proposed approach makes it possible to increase the time between overhaul intervals and reduce excess reserves in terms of the reliability factors of structures, which increases the flight performance of aircraft.

The generalization of the concept of the task in terms of information environments of construction [ISB] is performed. The approach to the presentation of such concepts as construction issues, construction problem, ontology, idea, concept, classification of problems, tasks, directions, objects included in the staging part of the tasks taking into account the specifics of the tasks solved within the developed information technologies in construction issues. The paper defines and investigates on the basis of methods of construction geodesy the actual tasks of construction, design, modeling, monitoring and their totality in the field of construction by means of information theory. An approach to the description of the technical condition of a construction object on the basis of information modeling in the management of the construction process and information modeling within the life cycle is proposed and described. Information modeling is a process, the results of each stage of which, ie information models of the building, differ greatly from each other depending on the stage of the life cycle of the object and the requirements for modeling in solving emerging problems. The construction object strongly depends on the stage of its existence: if during the design it is virtual, and during construction it gradually finds a real embodiment, then at a long stage of operation the building enters a period of stability and is no longer subject to significant changes. An information model is a variable object that depends on the range of tasks to be solved. Using the methods of construction geodesy in the field of construction, the field of problems, class of problems, the concept of the problem, the state of the problem, subtasks, chains of problems, problem solving and the result of solving the problem, the relationship between problems setting the transformation of aggregation, merger, integration. The urgency of the task from a theoretical point of view is determined by the expansion of the ontology of construction as a science, from an applied point of view is determined by the possibility of accurate formalization of regulatory information and documentation in construction.

It is possible to ensure safety of the entire construction process as well as safe operation of buildings and structures in future by timely implementation of geotechnical monitoring. Geotechnical monitoring of buildings and structures is a complex research of “soil base – foundation – above ground structures of a building”. Geotechnical monitoring studies behaviour of buildings and structures during construction and operation and, safety measures to prevent hazardous situations in future are undertaken upon analysis of acquired results. Geotechnical monitoring comprises combination of works, including field observation for structures’ behaviour of a building under construction or renovation, its foundation, including soil body surrounding the structure under construction, and field observation for structures of surrounding buildings. Such monitoring allows us to timely detect and prevent non-reversible processes that occur in “soil base – foundation – above ground structures of a building” system. Considering task in hand to ensure safety and security of buildings and structures, list of geotechnical monitoring works can be divided into following blocks: object monitoring; hydrogeological monitoring; ecological monitoring and computational and analytical block which makes assessment of current geotechnical situation on the construction object and develops relevant recommendation for further continuation of works. This article looks into special aspects of multiyear (2005 – 2019) geotechnical monitoring for deformational behaviour of buildings under operation, open parking spaces No.1 and No.2, located in area of effect from construction of railway connecting Vnukovo-1 airport and Kievskiy train station in Moscow and in the area of effect of new Vnukovo-1 airport construction. Article looks into tasks to ensure regular operation of existing buildings and monitoring of hazardous situations and their origin caused by construction works or poor technical condition of monitored objects. Particular to renovation of Vnukovo-1 airport, that started in 2005 is the fact that during construction it was necessary to ensure operation of a number of maintained buildings. Among them are open parking spaces No.1 and No.2.

The proposed methodology for the selection of the optimal design solution of the coastal protection structure, adapted to the specific hydrological, hydraulic and morphological conditions of the river according to an integral indicator, including the reliability of the structure; economic and environmental indicators. Innovative solutions to protect the banks of rivers from erosion, patented in the Russian Federation, decision-making modeling algorithms are presented. The developed theory and methodology for choosing the optimal solution can be implemented on other subsystems.

The article assesses trends of development of devices for control and diagnostics of railway tracks, highlights the growing importance of advanced technologies that make use of more sophisticated methods of remote monitoring of the technical condition and ensure safe operation of railroad bed. In particular, the authors analyze in detail the results of their own developments, with an emphasis on options for optical control with the use of aircraft and video recording, significantly expanding the possibilities of monitoring and quality of observations, and at the same time forecast (considering experimental data and economic factors) promising areas of engineering research.

The method of analysis of gases dissolved in oil is one of the most informative methods for early detection of defects in power oil-filled transformers. This determined its wide application in the practice of off-line and on-line monitoring of transformer equipment. In the article, based on the ratio of weight coefficients used in the calculation of the technical condition index of functional units and equipment units, a method for determining the reliability of oil-filled transformer equipment is proposed. An indicator that characterizes the quantitative measure of the diagnostic value of a single method (group of methods) for monitoring parameters of a power oil-filled transformer in the calculations of the technical condition index is obtained. The efficiency of monitoring the state of a power oil-filled transformer was evaluated based on the results of the analysis of gases dissolved in oil. A quantitative example of calculating the economic effect of increasing the operational reliability of a group of 110 kV power transformers in one of the areas of the distribution network using a remote diagnostic monitoring system based on the analysis of gases dissolved in oil is given

The existing power facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan face a number of disadvantages related to the system for recording data on the technical condition of boiler and turbine equipment: manual calculation of the parameters of equipment operation, lack of direct access to complete information on the condition of equipment and, as a result, low efficiency in identifying malfunctions, deviations in the operation of equipment, carrying out repair work. Hence, the need for digitalization of the system for recording data on the technical condition of equipment was formed, in response to which software was developed for automating the data recording system and visualizing the technical parameters of reliability at thermal power plants. This proposal is distinguished by the introduction of digital technologies in the process of recording data on the technical condition of equipment, where for the first time the software includes a method for automatically calculating the technical condition index of boiler units. The results of the work will reduce the likelihood of an emergency state of power plant equipment.

The paper focuses on the development of small and medium-sized deposits accompanied by implementing the investment design solutions, new expensive equipment and technologies. Further progressive development of the oil and gas complex depends on the implementation of measures supporting the operability of oil pipeline systems, the modernization and reconstruction of oil and gas complex enterprises. The main reasons for decreasing economic efficiency of the oil and gas complex are the outdated oil production technologies, as well as the obsolete drilling equipment. To make timely decisions and take measures to restore and improve equipment performance, a comprehensive assessment of the technical condition of the equipment is required, including not only an assessment of the safe operation of equipment and the possibility of extending service life, but also evaluating of the technological condition, the possibility and necessity of its restoration in terms of evaluating the efficient operation of the equipment.
