KNOWLEDGE IMPROVEMENT OF NEW HABITS ADAPTATION TOWARDS A PRODUCTIVE SOCIETY AND SAFE COVID-19

Public fear of the Covid-19 virus has resulted in social restrictions. This has an impact on determining the productivity and economy of society. For this reason, it is necessary to adapt new habits so that people can be productive again in breaking the chain of spreading the Covid-19 Virus. This service aims to provide knowledge to the public about the Adaptation of New Habits Towards a Productive and Safe Covid-19 Society. Community service activities were carried out on September 4, 2020 with a total of 25 participants from the people Mojo Agung Hamlet, Seputih Jaya Village in the form of socialization and discussion. The assessment was carried out using quantitative methods by distributing the pre-test and post-test. The results of this service concluded that there was an increase in participants' knowledge about the adaptation of new habits during Covid-19 pandemic. This is shown by the increase in the value of the participants' knowledge after being given some materials and simulations as much as 38%.

The scope of exclusive breastfeeding has not met the set targets. One of the benefits of papaya leaves is ASI Booster (ASI booster), because it can increase milk production and protein levels. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve knowledge and skills about ASI and the technique of instant papaya leaves. The design is the pre test and post test level of knowledge and skills. The material is delivered by lecture and demonstration methods. The evaluation was carried out after the practice of instant making of papaya leaves by carrying out a post test and evaluating the establishment of a banner on the description of instant papaya leaf products and their benefits as ASI smoothers and meeting forums in the village to check information desemination. Community service activities were conducted in 3 meetings. The first meeting was the delivery of material about ASI, ASI smoothing, the benefits of papaya leaves, the technique of instant papaya leaves. The second meeting was the training of instant papaya leaves in the Semarang Department of Health's Health Polytechnic Department, which was attended by 3 cadres of Karangjati Village. The third meeting was carried out to socialize and practice the instant making of papaya leaves in Karangjati Village to the people of Karangjati village. The participants who participated in the community service activities were 30 residents of Karangjati Village, Blora Based on the paired t-test, the Sig. (2-tailed) knowledge of 0,000 (<0,05) and skills of 0,000 (<0,05), then there is the effect of training on instant making of papaya leaves as breast milk booster to the level of knowledge and skills.This community service provides many benefits for participants, namely for cadres and community members. The real form is the increasing knowledge of breast milk and ASI smoothers with the instant making of papaya leaves.

The problem of partners in community service activities is the lack of knowledge of the community of Rumbai Bukit Village, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City regarding the settlement of disputes over land sale and purchase based on the Civil Code. The solution offered in this community service activity is to increase the knowledge of the community of Rumbai Bukit Village, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City regarding the settlement of land purchase disputes based on the Civil Code. The implementation method used in community service activities is to use lecture, dialogue and discussion methods in order to provide legal counseling to the public. Partner participation in community service activities is to provide time, provide a place and supporting facilities, and present the community as participants of the activity. The output target of this community service is scientific articles that have been submitted and will be published in non-accredited national journals. The conclusion is that this activity has been successfully implemented and the benefits can be felt directly by the participants. This can be seen from the answers of the participants in the questionnaire given after the activity was carried out. After the activity was carried out, 88% of the participants answered that they knew the material presented. His suggestion is that the activities with this theme should be carried out not only to the people of Rumbai Bukit Village, but also to other urban communities in the Rumbai District of Pekanbaru City.

The purpose of this report is to provide an explanation of the visibility, legibility and readability aspects in the design of the Kahyangan Kaja Temple sign board, Panjer Village, Denpasar. This report is part of the Community Service activities of the Bali Design and Business Institute in the manufacture of Environmental Facilities at Banjar Maniksaga, Panjer Village, Denpasar. The benefit of this report is that it pays attention to the condition of design facilities in public spaces, one of which is the Kahyangan Kaja Temple sign board which is owned by the people of Panjer Village as well as giving consideration in designing the public space sign board to the public. This report is carried out using a descriptive analysis method to describe the considerations of the visibility, legibility and readability aspects in terms of material selection, typography and placement in the design. With these considerations, it is hoped that the public will be more aware of the existence of the Kahyangan Temple and at the same time support the aesthetics of the Kahyangan Temple in Panjer Village, Denpasar, as well as provide an overview of the design aspects that support the optimization of the function of a nameplate in a public space.   Keywords: signboard, design, material, placement, typography, Kahyangan Kaja Temple, Panjer Village

Abstrak: Praktik bullying ataupun kekerasan di sekolah masih sering terjadi hingga saat ini. Sudah banyak kasus Bullying yang terungkap dan bahkan menyebabkan kematian bagi korban. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada siswa tentang bullying dan cara pencegahannya. Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan yaitu Penyuluhan kesehatan tentang bullying dan pencegahannya serta diskusi bersama. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu, tanggal 08 Februari 2020 pukul 09.20-11.00 WITA. Peserta kegiatan penyuluhan ini adalah siswa-siswi SMK Negeri 1 Lelogama, Kecamatan Amfoang Selatan, Kabupaten Kupang kelas XI-XII. Peserta penyuluhan sebanyak 68 peserta. Penyuluhan Kesehatan dapat berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Pihak sekolah juga memberikan dukungan penuh dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini. Pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa semakin bertambah terkait bullying dan cara pencegahannya, dibuktikan dari hasil pre-test dan post-test dimana terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 30% setelah diberikan penyuluhan. Perlu dilakukan pengabdian lanjutan dengan waktu yang lebih lama untuk advokasi aturan/kebijakan terkait pencegahan dan penanganan bullying di sekolah.Abstract: The practice of bullying or violence in schools was still common today. There have been many cases of bullying that have been revealed and have even caused death to victims. The purpose of this service was to provide knowledge and understanding to students about bullying and how to prevent it. The form of service activities carried out was health counseling about bullying and its prevention and discussion together. This community service activity was held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 09.20-11.00 WITA. The participants of this counseling activity were students of SMK Negeri 1 Lelogama, Amfoang Selatan District, Kupang Regency in class XI-XII. There were 68 extension participants. Health education can run well and smoothly. The school also provides full support in this service activityStudents' knowledge and understanding is increasing regarding bullying and how to prevent it, as evidenced by the results of the pre-test and post-test where there is an increase in knowledge of 30% after being given counseling. Further service needs to be done with a longer time for advocating for rules / policies related to the prevention and handling of bullying in schools.

ABSTRAKCovid-19 merupakan penyakit yang penyebabnya adalah virus corona yang menyerang sistem pernapasan. Pemerintah sudah menghimbau masyarakatnya dengan memberikan protokol kesehatan untuk menghindari penularan wabah COVID-19, untuk dapat menerapkannya dibutuhkan kesadaran masyarakat. Salah satu hal yang bisa dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat adalah dengan memberikan penyuluhan tentang Pencegahan COVID-19 berbasis Keluarga dengan Menerapkan 5M. Tujuan Pengabdian adalah untuk Meningkatkan Kesadaran Masyarakat RT 22 Kelurahan Pahlawan Palembang tentang Pencegahan COVID-19 berbasis Keluarga dengan Menerapkan 5M dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah berbentuk pendidikan kesehatan dengan metode ceramah dan demontrasi. Kesimpulan adanya peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat berbasis keluarga di RT 22 kelurahan Pahlawan Palembang dalam menerapkan protokol Kesehatan 5M. Disarankan bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar dapat mengimplementasikan dan memberikan informasi terbaru tentang pencegahan virus Covid 19 selain penerapan 5M pada masyarakat yang lebih luas. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan Kesadaran Masyarakat, Menerapkan 5M, Pencegahan        Covid 19 ABSTRACTCovid-19 is a disease caused by a coronavirus that attacks the respiratory system. One of the things that can be done to increase public awareness is to provide counseling about Family-based COVID-19 Prevention by Implementing 5M. The purpose of this service is to increase public awareness of RT 22 Pahlawan Palembang Village regarding Family-based COVID-19 Prevention by Implementing 5M can be carried out properly. The method used in community service activities is in the form of health education with lecture and demonstration methods. The conclusion is that there is an increase in family-based community awareness in RT 22, Pahlawan Palembang village in implementing the 5M Health protocol. The increasing of women capacity to survive is something that must always be fought. Lengansari village of Sukaraja District of Sukabumi is the representative of the struggling people who are always be the farm laborers on their own dwelling place. This phenomenon triggered the idea of the community service activities which is be an annual program of STKIP PGRI Sukabumi. Group III that is located in Lengansari village initiated to establish a cooperative as a form of education to increase the public standard of living of rural communities. In order to gain the villagers’ expectation, the training was done conductively and systematically by a team under the lecturer guidance. This project was successfully gained because of the hard work of the students of group III totaling 25 students who were directed by the lecturer and in collaboration both with the related apparatus in the region and the department of cooperatives.

Abstrak   Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui bentuk kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang pengolahan sampah di Desa Tempursari, Kecamatan Tempursari, Kabupaten Lumajang, Jawa Timur pada tanggal 12-17 Juli 2017.  Permasalahan sampah menjadi permasalahan yang belakangan sangat banyak dikeluhkan oleh masyarakat secara khusus di desa Tempursari. Kerjasama yang solid antara semua stakeholder diharapkan dalam penanganan dan pemecahan permasalahan sampah ini, seperti yang sudah dilakukan oleh masyarakat Desa Tempursari dengan kehadiran Gereja Kristen Jawa Wetan (GKJW) yang menjadi fasilitator dalam penanganan sampah di desa Tempursari. Dalam rangka mengembangkan program yang sudah disusun dan akan dijalankan, GKJW bekersama dengan Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta dalam beberapa hal terkait pengolahan sampah tersebut, di antaranya mensosialisasikan pemahaman tentang sampah (jenis dan dan dampak yang ditimbulkan), bagaimana mengolah sampah sesuai dengan jenisnya dan membantu mengoperasikan mesin pencacah sampah plastik dan sampah organik lainnya. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dinilai memberikan dampak positif, di mana mesin pencacah yang tadinya sudah lama tidak berfungsi menjadi beroperasi dengan operator yang yang sudah mahir atau fasih, masyarakat mampu memilah sampah dimulai dari tia-tiap rumah tangga sebelum selanjutnya diserahkan ke tim pengolah yang sudah ditunjuk oleh gereja. Akhirnya setelah kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bersama dengan GKJW Tempursari, maka program pelayanan masyarakat melalui pengolahan sampah oleh GKJW Tempursari mulai berjalan lancar.   Kata Kunci: sampah organik, mesin pencacah   Abstract The community service activities were carried out through the form of socialization and training activities on waste management in Tempursari Village, Tempursari District, Lumajang Regency, East Java. The problem of garbage has become a very recent problem that is very much complained by the community specifically in the village of Tempursari. Solid cooperation between all stakeholders is expected in handling and solving these waste problems, as has been done by the people of Desa Tempursari with the presence of the Gereja Kristen Jawa Wetan (GKJW) who became a facilitator in handling waste in the village of Tempursari. In order to develop a program that has been compiled and will be implemented, GKJW cooperates with the Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta in several matters related to waste management, including socializing understanding of waste (types and impacts), how to process waste according to its type and helping operate plastic waste chopping machines and other organic waste. The results of community service activities are considered to have a positive impact, where the enumerating machines that have not been functioning for a long time become operational with operators who are already proficient or fluent, the community is able to sort waste starting from each household before being submitted to the processing team who has been appointed by the church. Finally after the community service activities together with GKJW Tempursari, the community service program through processing waste by GKJW Tempursari began to run smoothly.   Keywords: organic waste, chopping machine

Food industry personnel, including coffee shops, do not have the opportunity to work from home and are required to continue working at work as usual. By holding outreach on food safety keeping all workers in food production and supply chains healthy and safe is critical to surviving the current pandemic. Maintaining the movement of food along the food chain is an important function that needs to be contributed by all stakeholders along the food chain. The purpose of this community service is to increase knowledge or information about food safety for food or beverage handlers so that coffee shops are better prepared to deal with COVID-19 conditions. To facilitate the communication of counseling using poster, and divided the discussion of food safety into 4, namely: 1) food safety of producers; 2) food safety distributors; 3) food safety of consumers 4) Food safety of food production. After being given counseling, an evaluation was carried out by measuring employee knowledge using a comparison of pre-test and post-test questionnaires given through the google form. The results of the evaluation stated that all employees in the eight coffee shops had increased knowledge about food safety. Most of the employees felt that community service activities with counseling were useful for maintaining security in coffee shops so that they could make employees and customers feel safe and comfortable.   Abstrak: Insan industri makanan, termasuk kedai kopi, tidak memiliki kesempatan untuk bekerja dari rumah dan diharuskan untuk tetap bekerja di tempat kerja seperti biasa. Dengan mengadakan sosialisasi tentang keamanan pangan, menjaga semua pekerja dalam produksi pangan dan rantai pasokan tetap sehat dan aman sangat penting untuk bertahan dari pandemi saat ini. Menjaga pergerakan makanan di sepanjang rantai makanan merupakan fungsi penting yang perlu disumbangkan oleh semua pemangku kepentingan di sepanjang rantai makanan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan atau informasi tentang keamanan pangan bagi penjamah makanan atau minuman sehingga warung kopi lebih siap menghadapi kondisi COVID-19. Untuk memudahkan komunikasi, penyuluhan menggunakan poster dan membagi pembahasan keamanan pangan menjadi 4, yaitu: 1) keamanan pangan produsen; 2) distributor keamanan pangan; 3) keamanan pangan konsumen 4) Keamanan pangan produksi pangan. Setelah diberikan penyuluhan, dilakukan evaluasi dengan mengukur pengetahuan karyawan menggunakan perbandingan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test yang diberikan melalui google form. Hasil evaluasi menyatakan bahwa seluruh karyawan di delapan kedai kopi tersebut mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan tentang keamanan pangan. Sebagian besar karyawan merasa kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan penyuluhan bermanfaat untuk menjaga keamanan di warung kopi sehingga dapat membuat karyawan dan pelanggan merasa aman dan nyaman.

Uncontrolled blood pressure can cause fatal complications for the patients. The high number of hypertension patients in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta is caused by a lack of self-awareness and low motivation from families. Those encourage the team to conduct education activities related to preventing high blood pressure and tips so that blood pressure can be controlled. The team coordinated with West Jakarta Tomang sub-district citizens in the implementation of community service so that health education activities can be realized. This activity is carried out by providing health education related to the ways in preventing hypertension and the benefits of it during this pandemic situation. The target people of the activity is young adults in West Jakarta area, especially those with risk factors related to hypertension, hypertension patients and their families. The activity was attended by 38 participants in accordance with the target of counseling activities. The result of the average pre-test score was 35.09 and the post-test average score was 62.28; there was an increase in the knowledge of participants who attended this education about 77.5%. This activity and other similar activities need to be carried out routinely so that the people can apply healthy life habits consistently.Tekanan darah yang tidak terkontrol dapat menimbulkan komplikasi dan berakibat fatal bagi penderitanya. Masih tingginya angka kejadian hipertensi di Indonesia terutama di Jakarta, disebabkan karena kurangnya kesadaran diri serta rendahnya motivasi dari keluarga. Hal tersebut mendorong tim pengabdian melakukan edukasi terkait pencegahan tekanan darah tinggi serta kiat-kiat agar tekanan darah dapat terkontrol. Tim pengabdian berkoordinasi dengan kader kelurahan Tomang Jakarta Barat dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat agar kegiatan edukasi kesehatan dapat terealisasi. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan dengan  memberikan edukasi kesehatan terkait informasi cara pencegahan hipertensi serta manfaat pencegahan  hipertensi pada masa pandemi. Sasaran dari kegiatan adalah dewasa muda di daerah Jakarta Barat terutama yang memiliki faktor resiko terkait hipertensi, penderita hipertensi dan keluarganya. Kegiatan dihadiri 38 peserta yang sesuai dengan target sasaran kegiatan penyuluhan. Hasil nilai rata-rata pre-tets adalah 35,09 dan nilai rata-rata post-test adalah 62,28, terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta yang mengikuti edukasi dengan materi pencegahan hipertensi sebesar 77,5%. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dan kegiatan serupa perlu dilaksanakan secara rutin agar perubahan gaya hidup dapat diterapkan secara konsisten oleh masyarakat.
