This research aimed at developing student workbook Problem Based Learning model based that was valid and practical to increase student mathematic problem-solving ability.  This research was instigated by student mathematic problem-solving ability that was on low category, student workbook that was inappropriate to increase student mathematic problem-solving ability.  It was a Research and Development with 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) model.  The subjects of this research were 39 students of the fifth grade of class C, and the object was mathematics student workbook Problem Based Learning model based.  The collected data were primary, and the techniques of collecting the data were interview, questionnaire, test, and documentation.  The instruments of collecting the data were the instruments of validity test, practicality test, pretest and posttest questions of mathematic problem-solving ability.  The obtained data were analyzed by using Descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative analysis techniques.  Based on the research findings and data analyses, it could be concluded that validity level of student workbook was valid with 86.92% percentage, and it had been proper to be tested.  After testing, the practicality level was on very practical category with 95.6% percentage.  The analysis result of student mathematic problem-solving ability level after using the workbook generally was on high category with 83.06% percentage.  It meant that students were able to solve the problems overall.

Discovery learning is a learning that involves students in the process of mental activity through a brainstorm, to discuss, and try it yourself, so that children can learn to be independent. Resulting in the discovery-based learning problem solving is to let children discover things on their own and group investigation that emphasizes problem solving based on a debriefing activities and student participation. The classes drawn into the sample, the class as a class given control based discovery learning and problem solving one class another group investigation given learning-based problem solving. Data analysis techniques in this study using Ttes. From the results of this study concluded that: (a) In the first experiment class that implements learning model-based problem solving group investigation obtained average value of learning outcomes at 73.10 while the experimental class II implementing discovery-based learning problem solving obtained average value postest average of 66.55. (b) There are significant differences between the results of student learning in the class that implements the discovery-based learning and problem solving class that implements the learning model based problem solving group investigation. Student results in learning problem solving based group investigation better on the class that implements the model-based discovery learning problem solving. Keywords: discovery learning, group investigation, learning numerical methods,  problem solving

ABSTRACT This research is an experiment research that aims to determine the significant effect of problem-based learning model on mathematic problem solving ability of grade IX students of SMP Negeri 6 Medan. The population in this study is the entire class IX SMP Negeri 6 Medan consisting of 11 classes. Sampling is done randomly by simple random sampling method and many samples in this research consist of 2 classes, that is class IX-J as control class with conventional learning that is direct learning model and class IX-K as experiment class with problem-based learning model, the number of students in each class is 36 students. The instrument used in this study is a test description of 3 test problem math problem solving abilities that have been declared valid. Based on the test data of mathematical problem solving ability, the average value in the control class is 51.83, while the average value in the experimental class is 75.50. By using the calculation of one-way hypothesis test, obtained at 6.86 and 1.66691 at the real level = 0.05 so. Thus rejected and accepted, it means there is a significant effect of problem-based learning model of mathematical problem solving ability of students of class IX SMP Negeri 6 Medan.Keyword: mathematics problem solving ability, problem based learning model ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 6 Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas IX SMP Negeri 6 Medan yang terdiri dari 11 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak dengan metode simple random sampling dan banyak sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 kelas, yaitu kelas IX-J sebagai kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional yaitu model pembelajaran langsung dan kelas IX-K sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, jumlah siswa pada masing-masing kelas adalah 36 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes uraian  sebanyak 3 soal tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik yang telah dinyatakan valid. Berdasarkan data tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik, nilai rata-rata di kelas kontrol sebesar 51,83, sedangkan nilai rata-rata di kelas eksperimen sebesar 75,50. Dengan menggunakan perhitungan uji hipotesis satu arah, diperoleh  sebesar 6,86 dan  sebesar 1,66691 pada taraf nyata = 0,05 sehingga .  Dengan demikian  ditolak dan  diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 6 Medan.Kata kunci: kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik, model pembelajaran berbasis masalah

This study is aimed at investigating the difference of students’ civics achievement between those who are taught by Think Pair Share model based on concept mapping and those who are taught by conventional learning model of the fifth grade students in Elementary School of Cluster I in Petang District. It is a quasi-experimental research using non-equivalent post-test only control group design. The population of this research is 102 students in grade V in Elementary School of Cluster I Petang District. The samples of this research are fifth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Carangsari as experimental group and fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Carangsari as control group. The data of civics achievement were collected by using multiple choice tests. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The result showed that tcount= 3,83 and ttable = 2,03 (tcount>ttable) which can be concluded that there are significant difference between the students’ civics achievement between those who were taught by Think Pair Share learning model based on concept mapping and those who were taught by the conventional learning model in grade V in Elementary School of Cluster I Petang District of Badung Regency in academic year 2017/2018.

<p class="AbstractEnglish"><strong>Abstract:</strong> This study aims to determine the interaction/influence of the application of the project based Double Loop Problem Solving learning model in improving Critical Thinking Skill and student Interpersonal Skill. This research is in the form of quantitative research and the sample used in this study is one class taken using Saturated Sampling techniques. The research class was treated using a project-based Double Loop Problem Solving learning model. The independent variable in this study is a project based Double Loop Problem Solving learning model, while the dependent variable is Critical Thinking Skill and student Interpersonal Skill. There are 2 kinds of data analysis techniques, namely data analysis techniques about Critical Thinking Skills and data analysis techniques about student Interpersonal Skills. The analysis of the hypothesis test of this study used the T-Test with a significance level of 5%. T-Test Criteria are as follows, Ho is accepted / H1 is rejected if T count is smaller than T table and Ho is rejected / H1 is accepted if T count is greater than T table. From the results of the TT-test for the first dependent variable Critical Thinking Skill T count = 18.77 and T table = 1.782, because T count is greater than T table, Ho1 is rejected, meaning that there is interaction/influence on the implementation of project based Double Loop Problem Solving learning model in improving Critical Thinking Skill. While the results of the T test for the Interpersonal Skill dependent variable obtained T count = 12.33 with T table = 1.782, because T count is greater than T table, Ho2 is rejected, meaning that there is interaction / influence on the application of Double Loop Problem Solving based learning models to improve Student Interpersonal Skills.</p><p class="AbstractEnglish"><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi/pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran <em>Double Loop Problem Solving </em>berbasis<em> project</em> dalam meningkatkan <em>Critical Thinking Skill</em> dan <em>Interpersonal Skill</em> mahasiswa. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian kuantitatif dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah satu kelas yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Sampling Jenuh. Kelas penelitian diberi  perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran <em>Double Loop Problem Solving </em>berbasis<em> project</em>. Adapun variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran <em>Double Loop Problem Solving </em>berbasis<em> project</em>, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah <em>Critical Thinking Skill</em> dan <em>Interpersonal Skill</em> mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data ada 2 macam yaitu teknik analisa data tentang <em>Critical Thinking Skill</em> dan teknik analisa data tentang <em>Interpersonal Skill</em> mahasiswa. Analisis uji hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan  Uji-T dengan taraf signifikan 5 %. Kriteria Uji-T adalah sebagai berikut, Ho diterima/H1 ditolak jika T hitung lebih kecil dari T tabel dan Ho ditolak/H1 diterima jika T hitung lebih besar dari T tabel. Dari hasil uji T untuk variabel terikat pertama <em>Critical Thinking Skill</em> diperoleh T hitung = 18,77 dan T tabel = 1,782, karena T hitung lebih besar dari T tabel maka Ho<sub>1</sub> ditolak, artinya terdapat interaksi/pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran <em>Double Loop Problem Solving</em> berbasis <em>project </em>dalam meningkatkan <em>Critical Thinking Skill.</em> Sedangkan hasil uji T untuk variabel terikat <em>Interpersonal Skill</em> diperoleh T hitung = 12,33 dengan T tabel = 1,782, karena T hitung lebih besar dari T tabel maka Ho<sub>2</sub> ditolak, artinya terdapat interaksi/pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran <em>Double Loop Problem Solving</em> berbasis <em>project </em>dalam meningkatkan <em>Interpersonal Skill</em> mahasiswa.</p>

Problem Based Learning Model is an innovation in learning because in this model students' thinking ability is optimized through a systematic group or team work process, so that students can empower, sharpen, test, and develop their thinking ability on an ongoing basis. However, not all educators (teachers) understand the concept of the Problem Based Learning Model. The purpose of this research development is: 1) To determine the feasibility of learning model simplified problem based learning material Surah Al Fatihah and Al Ikhlas subjects Islamic Religious Education class IV SDN Kranggan 3 Kota Mojokerto according to Expert. 2) To know the feasibility of learning model simplified problem based learning material Surah Al Fatihah and Al Ikhlas subjects Islamic Religious Education fourth grade SDN Kranggan 3 City Mojokerto according to peers 3) To know the interest of learning model simplified problem based learning material Surah Al Fatihah and Al Ikhlas subjects Islamic Religious Education class IV SDN Kranggan 3 Kota Mojokerto according to student ratings. The selection and use of learning model based on simplified problem based learning can effectively streamline and streamline the implementation of learning. For that purpose, the learning model based on simplified problem based learning is absolutely necessary. This research intends to study the conditions and problems of learning management in Mathematics for undergraduate students. The research problem is that students have low achievement and ability problem-solving in mathematics. The research method used is development through conducting preliminary studies and quantitative survey research, producing initial designs of integrative learning models. The results of this research were used to develop the mathematics learning model. The research was conducted over one year considering two groups. The first sample was collected from the group with 376 students studying mathematics in the academic year 2020. The second sample was collected from the group with 116 professors of public universities in Thailand. Questionnaires were used as a tool of the research. The data analysis was divided into two stages. The first stage was to analyze supporting factors with factor analysis. The second stage was to design the learning management of students and professors with regression analysis. The results have shown that the opinions of students and professors on conditions and problems of learning management can be summarized as follows: (1) The students’ arguments for corrections in the aspects were group learning and teamwork, steps of solving problems, a learning model that is real situations, and the problem-based learning, respectively. (2) The professors’ opinions for corrections in the aspects were student interaction, academic achievement, problem-based learning, and learning management model that is current situations, respectively. (3)The supporting factors for developing the learning management model that professors and students were consistent in solving problems. It was found that there were three main factors as follows; group learning, problem-based learning, and active learning. The learning management model should be developed by integrating group learning, problem-based learning, and mathematical problem-solving to enhance problem-solving and mathematics learning achievement.
