Discovery learning is a learning that involves students in the process of mental activity through a brainstorm, to discuss, and try it yourself, so that children can learn to be independent. Resulting in the discovery-based learning problem solving is to let children discover things on their own and group investigation that emphasizes problem solving based on a debriefing activities and student participation. The classes drawn into the sample, the class as a class given control based discovery learning and problem solving one class another group investigation given learning-based problem solving. Data analysis techniques in this study using Ttes. From the results of this study concluded that: (a) In the first experiment class that implements learning model-based problem solving group investigation obtained average value of learning outcomes at 73.10 while the experimental class II implementing discovery-based learning problem solving obtained average value postest average of 66.55. (b) There are significant differences between the results of student learning in the class that implements the discovery-based learning and problem solving class that implements the learning model based problem solving group investigation. Student results in learning problem solving based group investigation better on the class that implements the model-based discovery learning problem solving. Keywords: discovery learning, group investigation, learning numerical methods,  problem solving

The problem of this research is of low grade student learning outcomes VA SDN 006 Kubang Jaya Kecamatan Siak Hulu. This learning problem addressed by implementing cooperative learning model numbered heads together (NHT) with the formulation of the problem: Does the implementation of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) can improve learning outcomes IPS graders of VA SDN 006 Kubang Jaya Kecamatan Siak Hulu? The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes IPS graders of VA SDN 006 Kubang Jaya Kecamatan Siak Hulu by means of the application of cooperative learning model numbered heads together (NHT). This research is a class act performed two cycles, the subject of this research is class VA with the number of 33 students, the study was conducted with four stages: planning, implementation, observation stage, and the stage of reflection. The study states that the results of social studies students has increased. This is evidenced by the results of the first cycle of learning has increased compared to conventional learning, the average value of learning outcomes prasiklus is 50.90, the first cycle average student learning outcomes is 70.00, the second cycle increased again to 77.20, In addition completeness of students has increased in prasiklus is 8 students (25.00%), in the first cycle is 21 students (65.60%), and the second cycle increased to 29 students (90.60%). Based on the results of this study concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model type numbered heads together (NHT) can improve learning outcomes IPS graders of VA SDN 006 Kubang Jaya Kecamatan Siak Hulu.

ABSTRACT [Relationship between Groundwater Surface Depth with Salinity at the Coast of New Kungkai Beach and its Implementation on Discovery Learning Model]. The aims of this study were 1) to describe the relationship between groundwater surface depth with salinity in the coastal areas of new kungkai beach of Seluma, and 2) to determine the improvement of learning outcomes (cognitive) of high ability students, moderate and low by using discovery learning model on the concept of static fluid in class X computer and network engineering at SMK Negeri 3 Seluma. This research was a quasi experimental research with one groups pretest-posttest design. The results showed: 1) The relationship between depth with salinity has a value of 0.6478 with a significance level of 0.001 (<0.05); 2) Learning with discovery learning model can improve student learning outcomes on cognitive aspects (knowledge). Increased cognitive results can be seen from the average value of the initial test, the final test and the average value of gain in the class x Tkj is high-ability groups are at high criteria with a value of 0.75 gain in the group is in the criteria medium with the value of gain 0,52 and in the low group were in moderate criteria with a gain value of 0.44. There is a difference in learning outcomes between the high, medium and low groups. The difference is shown by Fcount > Ftable (4.04 > 3.35) with a significance level of 5%. Keywords: Groundwater surface depth; salinity; discovery learning model; SMKN 3 Seluma.

This study aims "To determine whether there is influence of discovery learning model assisted problem card in a straight motion on the results of study X science class SMA Negeri 1 Mranggen academic year 2014/2015". The population in this study were all class X  SMAN 1 Mranggen Academic Year 2014/2015. Sampling using cluster random sampling technique with the normal condition of all classes and homogeneous. Sampling results obtained by X-class science experiment 1 as a class were treated when learning takes place using discovery learning model and problem cards for class X IPA 2 as the control class is given learning using discuss learning group. Based on the final analysis of the t-test showed that t = 4.6738 while the table = 1.671 with a significance level of 5%. Because thitung > ttable is 4.6738> 1.671 it can be interpreted that the average student learning outcomes experimental class better than the class control. The average value of the experimental class is 77.6316 and 70.6579 as control class. Pursuant to the results of this study concluded that there are significant of discovery learning model assisted problem card in a straight motion on the results of study X science class SMA Negeri 1 Mranggen academic year 2014/2015.

This research aims to improve the activities and results of learning mathematics using the discovery learning model. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Subjects of this study was grade III B SDIT Generasi Rabbani Bengukulu. The data collection instrument used student activity observation sheets and learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique uses arithmetic mean and the percentage of learning completeness. The results showed: 1) Teacher activity in the first cycle obtained an average of 3.38 and in the second cycle an average of 3.81, 2) Student activity in the first cycle obtained an average of 3.13 and in the second cycle an average of 3.67, 3) Learning result in the first cycle were obtained an average of 71.43 with learning completeness 64.29 %, an increase in the second cycle obtained an average value of 76.79 with 82.14% completeness learning. The conclusion of this study that the use of the discovery learning model can increase the activity and learning result of class III B students of SDIT Generasi Rabbani, Bengkulu City

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan model pembelajaran penguatan vocational life skills mahasiswa berwawasan kewirausahaan; dan (2) mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran penguatan vocational life skills mahasiswa  berwawasan kewirausahaan. (3) mengetahui efektivitas dan keunggulan model; dan (4) mengimplentasikan model. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan Borg & Gall dan perencanaan strategi pembelajaran dalam pengembangan model dengan menggunakan rancangan Dick & Carey. Berdasarkan hasil dari validasi ahli pada: ahli bidang studi, ahli desain pembelajaran, ahli desain grafis semuanya menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran penguatan vocational life skill layak digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada mahasiswa jurusan teknik mesin. Juga pada uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba lapangan menunjukan kelayakan model yang dikembangkan dan dalam kategori baik. Uji efektivitas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar yang diajar dengan menggunakan modul vocational life skills berwawasan kewirausahaan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar yang diajar dengan menggunakan buku teks.Kata kunci: model pembelajaran penguatan vocational life skills, kewirausahaan, teknik mesin LEARNING MODEL DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS LIFE SKILLS VOCATIONAL STRENGTHENING INSIGHTFUL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERINGAbstractResearch and development is aimed at: (1) develop learning models strengthening vocational life skills, entrepreneurial-minded students; and (2) implement a reinforcement learning model vocational life skills, entrepreneurial-minded students. Methods of research and development with Borg & Gall and planning learning strategies in model development by using design Dick & Carey. Based on the results of the validation experts at: expert studies, expert instructional design, graphic design expert everything suggests that the reinforcement learning model vocational decent life skill used in the implementation of learning in students majoring in mechanical engineering. Also on individual testing, small group trial and field trials showed the feasibility of the model developed and in both categories. Effectiveness test, it can be concluded that the average value of learning outcomes are taught using modules vocational life skills, entrepreneurial-minded higher than the average value of learning outcomes are taught using textbooks.Keywords: reinforcement learning model vocational life skills, entrepreneurship, engineering

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X pada materi pokok Listrik Dinamis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X yang terdiri dari 8 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara cluster random sampling dengan mengambil 2 kelas secara acak yaitu kelas X-5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-6 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar yang telah divalidasi dalam bentuk pilihan berganda sebanyak 20 soal. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen 33,06 dan kelas kontrol 32,78. Kemudian diberikan perlakuan yang berbeda, kelas eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran discovery learning dan kelas kontrol dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan, diperoleh postes dengan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 75,69 dan kelas kontrol 69,86. Hasil uji t dengan taraf signifikasi 0,05 bahwa secara signifikan ada perbedaan akibat pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok Listrik Dinamis di kelas X. Kata kunci : model pembelajaran discovery learning dan hasil belajar siswa.   ABSTRACT This research aimed to know the effect of discovery learning model on students learning outcomes in the subject matter dynamical electricity in class X. The type of research was quasi-experimental. The population were the tenth grade students consisting of 8 classes. The samples collection done by means of cluster of random sampling by taking 2 class at random that is class X-5 as experiment class and class X-6 as control class. The instruments used were test of learning outcomes that have been validated in the form of option as much as 20 questions. The research result obtained average value of experiment pretest class 33,06 and the control class 32,78. Then given different treatment, experiment class with discovery learning and control class with conventional of models. After learning is completed, obtained postest the average value of experiment class 75,69 and control class 69,86. The results of t one party with the level significance in 0,05 obtained there is difference of students’ learning outcomes due to the effect of discovery learning in the subject matter listrik dinamis in class X. The purpose of this study is to increase the activeness and learning outcomes of students through the Wide Game learning model in economic activity material. This research method using descriptive method. The subjects in this study were 31 students of class VIID SMP Negeri 13 Tegal. The research instrument used a questionnaire and data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the activeness and learning outcomes of students through the Wide Game learning model in economic activity material. This is evidenced by the data in the first cycle with an average value of 70.97 and those who completed 58.04% increased the average value of 81.23 and those who completed were 87.10% in the second cycle. This increase is also accompanied by changes in behavior, students are more active, and respect others in doing tasks.

The aims of this research are to increase: (1) the activity of students of class XI Motorcycle Engineering Program In SMK Diponegoro Depok Sleman on the electrical system and instrumen lesson through mind map learning model; and (2) the learning outcomes of students of class XI Motorcycle Engineering Program In SMK Diponegoro Depok Sleman on the electricalsystem and instrumen lesson through mind map learning model. This research was conducted atSMK Diponegoro Depok Sleman. The subject ofthis research are students offOdd Semester class XI TSM 2014/2015 academic year. Object ofthis study is Mind Map model to improved learning activities and learning outcomes. The type of this research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in three cycles, each cycle consists of planning, execution (interview,observation, documentation and testing), observation and reflection. Data collection techniques used observation sheet and achievement test. The data were analyzed using quantitative analysis.The results of this study concluded that: (1) application of the mind map learning model canenhance the activity of learning, this is evidenced by the average student activity presentations onfirst cycle is 28,4%, on second cycle 60,2% and the third cycle is 86,4%; and (2) application ofthe mind map learning model can improve the learning outcomes of competences electricalsystems and instrument, this is evidenced by the average value of learning outcomes preaction is62.65, the average value of learning outcomes of the first cycle is 71.87, the average value oflearning outcomes of the second cycle 81.09, and the average value of learning outcomes of the third cycle 88.1

ABSTRACT[Implementation of Discovery Learning Model on Electromagnetic Wave Application Material of Various Palm Oil Impurity Analysis With Spectrophotometry UV-Vis].The aims of this study was to describe the differences between the learning outcomes of students who learn to use the learning model of Discovery Learning with students studying physics learning conventionally onwaves electromagnetic material.  The method used quasi experimental research with Pretest-Posttest Control GroupDesign research conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau. Sample research used 2 classes i.e. class X.3 as a experimental class and class X.2 as a control class. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that there was a difference between learning outcomes of students who learn to use the learning model of Discovery Learningwith students studying in conventional method. The data views from the average final value obtained after being given the treatment. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan berjumlah 2 kelas yakni kelas X.3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X.2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning (DL) dengan siswa yang belajar secara konvensional. Data tersebut dilihat dari nilai rata-rata akhir yang diperoleh setelah diberi perlakuan. Nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen setelah diberi perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning sebesar 76,27, sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol setelah diberi perlakuan pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 67,00.Kata Kunci:Discovery; Learning; GelombangElektromagnetik; Spektrofotometri UV-Vis.

Discovery learning learning model is an effective model for advancing student motivation and learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to understand the effect of discovery learning model based on 3D scrapbook media on building material on student motivation and learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN Munungkerep II Kabuh. This type of research uses a quantitative approach, the research design that is used is the post-test only control design. The population in this study was fifth grade students of SDN Munungkerep Kabuh Jombang with saturated sampling techniques. The data analysis techniques that are used are validity test, normality test, and multivariate variant test (MANOVA). The results showed that (1) The application of discovery learning model based on 3D scrapbook media on space building material influenced the motivation of class students based on a significant value of 0.193 ≥ 0.05, (2) The application of discovery learning model based on 3D scrapbook media on space building material affect the learning outcomes of class students based on a significant value of 0.246 ≥ 0.05, and (3) The application of discovery learning models using 3D scrapbook media on building materials has an effect on motivation and student learning outcomes based on a significant value of 0.433 ≥ 0.05.
