The article explores the application of pedagogical innovations and the role of the teacher in this area. The survey showed that the application of pedagogical innovations in education is conditioned by a complex of different factors. In addition to motivating teachers, their age characteristics, attitude to new pedagogical technologies and the level of their use, as well as the presence of the necessary skills and so on are important. The unequivocal lack of attitudes towards pedagogical innovations, as well as teachers 'frustration, passivity and negative attitude towards innovation, also prevent the widespread application of innovation. The survey showed that there is no serious paradox in teachers' assessment of innovative teaching methods at real and predictable levels. There is no doubt that there is an intensive interest in the use of new methods in the organization of training, and the positive aspects of innovation in teaching, in the opinion of teachers, increase cognitive activity, reduce negative emotions and create lasting motivation in students.

The diversity of teaching methods and the change in the teaching paradigm which emphasises a student-directed teaching and holistic approach altered the understanding of the role of the teaching/ learning methods as mediators between lecturers and students. A method is seen not only as a means to master the material of the discipline or to enhance language skills, but also as a complex tool which allows the student to adapt to teaching material, to socialize in a group, to know and evaluate oneself and to develop argumentative and critical thinking. The results show that the most common teaching methods (lecturing, explanation, narration, demonstration) are not active. Active, application and practice oriented teaching methods are relatively rare. With respect to the self-sufficient learning it turned out that students mostly see the value in the possibility to plan their study process, to observe, adjust and evaluate their learning results and process.

Trilingual education is one of the important directions for the development of the education system in the Republic of Kazakhstan. This article analyzes the incentive system for students in the process of introducing trilingual education. The article aims to provide some guidance to teachers adopting trilingual education. The trinity of languages is an important factor in social harmony. The variety of cultures and languages is the main property of Kazakhstan. The effectiveness of trilingualism is possible with the right implementation approach and a well-organized system of incentives for students. The main task of coordinating the involvement of students in the process of trilingualism undoubtedly lies with the teacher. And for effective teaching, aimed at the result, the teacher himself needs to be as motivated as possible and in this direction must show true interest. It is very important to introduce innovative teaching methods in trilingual education, learn the experience of other teachers and use teaching methods that increase interest in the process of studying. This can be easily achieved by introducing a system of incentives for students, within the framework of which a cognitive diffi culty arises, to overcome which students must acquire new knowledge or make intellectual efforts. The main challenge is to develop an understanding of the potential of multiple languages in students. This requires an understanding and awareness of the perspective of this direction in teaching. Key words: Trilingualism, multicultural personality, trinity of languages, teaching biology in English, modernization, metho- dology, research, implementation.
