The article is devoted to identifying the features of the creative environment in the context of the specifics of the space of the coworking center and to determine the basic design principles and means of its creation. The concept of "creative space" in the context of the specifics of the design of the coworking center has been clarified and supplemented. In this study, the concept of creative environment is considered by us as a subject-spatial environment, in the process of development and creation of which the designer takes into account not only the specifics of the philosophy of self-realization, but also tools to meet this need in anthropocentric approach. The study found that modern coworking centers, thanks to unique design approaches, are positioned as a favorable creative environment for the work of the creative class in the context of the implementation of new creative ideas. It is proved that functionality, artistic image, providing the necessary conditions for efficiency, ease of use, safety and aesthetic pleasure from being in the space of the coworking center and interaction with objects is achieved only through a systematic approach to design, which takes into account functional and technological and social -cultural factors. It is determined that the creation of a creative environment of a coworking center by a designer is the result of complex design - joint technical, aesthetic and artistic activities, the main property of which is anthropocentrism, ie human orientation. Accordingly, in the design process, the designer proceeds solely from human needs (in this case during work) to avoid unwanted adaptation of visitors to the coworking center to the environment created by him.

Subject. The consumer surplus conception is an important part of the modern microeconomic theory at the introductory and intermediate levels. Consumer surplus measures the change in the consumer’s real welfare. The article addresses the peculiarities of generation and the main property of the generalized individual consumer surplus, using the Edgeworth Box case. Objectives. The purpose is to find the main property of individual consumer surplus in the Edgeworth Box economy. Methods. The study draws on methods of logical and mathematical analysis. The generalized consumer surplus is correctly constructed, using the mathematical theory of curve integrals of the second type (the theory of line integrals in the Western mathematics). Results. The generalized individual consumer surplus is defined through the respective curve integral along some admissible trajectory in the simple exchange economy (Edgeworth Box). The paper also introduces the notion of the marginal individual consumer surplus, and demonstrates that consumer surplus is a correct individual welfare measure in the Edgeworth Box, and that consumer surplus is zero along any given indifference curve. I consider the numerical example of individual surplus calculation and presentation in the Edgeworth Box. Conclusions. The generalized individual consumer surplus is a correct measure of consumer’s utility change along monotone (weakly monotone) trajectories in the Edgeworth Box. Geometrically, the consumer surplus is presented as an area limited by the reservation price curve from the top and by the reallocation line (curve) from the bottom.

Concrete is the main material used in the construction industry and its main property is the axial compressive strength. Usually the prediction of compressive strength is restricted to limited empirical equations and / or laboratory dosages. The objective of this study is to develop fuzzy systems capable of obtaining the axial compressive strength of concrete, from the mixtures and curing time. Several fuzzy systems were developed with Mamdani inference and different defuzzification methods. Triangular membership functions were adopted for the input variables in all systems and triangular functions for the output variables. The developed models were simulated and evaluated using three statistical indexes. The systems with Mamdani inference and centroid, bisector and mom defuzzification proved to be reliable and highly effective. The best performance was obtained by the fuzzy centroid defuzzification system according to the analyses.,

Land value is an important element in a decision making. The estimation of land value conducted individually based on comparables. This approach often faces difficulties due to the large quantities of such assets with limited capacity of valuers. This research aimed to build a model to effectively identify the main property attributes that shape property value and quantify the effect of unobserved variables on value. We observed 628 property data in Jakarta collected by the Directorate General of State Asset Management (DGSAM) as part of their valuation activities in 2018. The results of this study provide an evidence that structural equation model (SEM) can be effectively used to identify property attributes that significantly affect property value, particularly for valuing state-owned assets.

The complexity of cancer patients and the use of advanced and demolitive surgical techniques frequently need post-operatory ICU hospitalization. To increase safety and to select the best medical strategies for the patient, a multidisciplinary team has performed a new peri-operatory assessment, arising from evidence-based literature data. Verifying that most of the cancer patients, admitted to the intensive care unit, undergo major surgery with localizations in the supramesocolic thoraco-abdominal area, the team focused the attention on supramesocolic peridiaphragmatic cancer surgery. Some scores already in use in clinical practice were selected for the peri-operatory evaluation process. None of them evaluate parameters relating to the entire peri-operative period. In detail, only a few study models were found that concern the assessment of the intra-operative period. Therefore, we wanted to see if using a mix of validated scores, it was possible to build a single evaluation score (named PERIDIAphragmatic surgery score or PERIDIA-score) for the entire peri-operative period that could be obtained at the end of the patient’s hospitalization period in post-operative ICU. The main property sought with the creation of the PERIDIA-score is the proportionality between the score and the incidence of injuries, deaths, and the length of stay in the ward. This property could organize a tailor-made therapeutic path for the patient based on pre-rehabilitation, physiotherapy, activation of social assistance services, targeted counseling, collaborations with the continuity of care network. Furthermore, if the pre-operative score is particularly high, it could suggest different or less invasive therapeutic options, and if the intra-operative score is particularly high, it could suggest a prolongation of hospitalization in ICU. The retrospective prospective study conducted on 83 patients is still ongoing. The first data would seem to prove an increase of clinical complications in patients who were assigned a one-third score with respect to the maximum (16/48) of PERIDIA-score. Moreover, patients with a 10/16 score within each phase of the evaluation (pre, peri, and post) more frequently develop injuries. In the light of these evidence, the 29-point score assigned to our patient can be considered as predictive for the subsequent critical and fatal complications the patient faced up.

Tere is a centuries-old tradition of writing monument poems, while their content and form changed under the influence of the artistic context of different literary eras and due to differences in the authors’ conceptual pictures of the world. Tis type of poetic texts is the object of research by Russian and foreign scholars, but the approach to the analysis of “monuments” is rather one-sided: they are studied from the point of view of preserving and developing genre traditions. Te article offers a new look into this phenomenon − the fractal principle of the monument poems organization. Te relevance of the problem is beyond doubt, since synergetic research makes it possible to illuminate in a new way the stages of a literary text formation due to the inclusion of various monument poems in the intertext of Russian literature. Poems-”monuments” with a fractal organization, act as a nonlinear synergistic self-organizing system. Self-similarity is the main property of fractals, causing fractal changes, which repeat themselves on different scales and take different confgurations. Using the methods of linguistic observation, conceptual analysis and the descriptive method, the author comes to the following conclusions: in classical texts a monument poem acts as a semantic fractal, since the texts practically do not change structurally and contain all markers of the conceptual fractal. Non-classical texts are represented as a structural fractal, because they preserve only general formal features of a conceptual fractal, its content is subject to transformation by the poet’s artistic intention, specifc historical time and other factors.

Abstract This article presents a large scope of issues on early and late language plasticity that increase our understanding of the neurobehavioral dynamics of change, the main property of the learning brain. In their pioneering work, Bates and Kuhl have convincingly demonstrated that plasticity is intrinsic to development. Bates has provided new data on the impressive recovery of language in children with focal brain injury, highlighting that both hemispheres support the early phases of this change, contrary to previous assumptions. The fundamental reorganization of the early phonemic system around the age of 8 months proposed by Kuhl, combining neural commitment and social abilities, has powerful cascading effects for subsequent word learning. Our developmental crosslinguistic research on online sentence processing in monolinguals and simultaneous bilinguals has revealed distinctive linguistic patterns of “cue cost”, a multifactorial concept relevant for capturing the microplasticity of the processing system. Whatever the language, the shift around the age of 9 towards the canonical adult pattern indicates an efficient adaptive processing occurring with a small delay in bilinguals. Most salient, from childhood, bilinguals exhibit specific cue cost patterns with interactions. In older French adults, cue cost variability is mediated by processing speed which preserves online syntactic abilities but reveals plasticity limits in Alzheimer’s patients.

This paper presents a computational method based on non-classical logic dedicated to routing management and information stream control in communication networks. Paraconsistent logic (PL) was used to create an algorithmic structure whose main property is to accept contradiction. Moreover, a computational structure, the denominated paraconsistent data analyzer (PDAPAL2v), was constructed to perform routing management in communication networks. Direct comparisons of PDAPAL2v with a classical logic system that simulates routing conditions were made in the laboratory. In the conventional system, the paraconsistent algorithms were considered as binary logic gates, and in the tests, the same adjustment limits of PDAPAL2v were applied. Using a database with controlled insertion of noise, we obtained an efficacy of 97% in the detection of deteriorated packets with PDAPAL2v and 72% with the conventional simulation system. Functional tests were carried out, showing that PDAPAL2v is able to assess the conditions and degradation of links and perform the analysis and correlation of various inputs and variables, even if the signals have contradictory values. From practical tests in the laboratory, the proposed method represents a new way of managing and controlling communication network routes with good performance.

Invoice factoring is a handy tool for developing businesses that face liquidity problems. The main property that a factoring system needs to fulfill is to prevent an invoice from being factored twice. Distributed ledger technology is suitable for implementing the platform to register invoice factoring agreements and prevent double-factoring. Several works have been proposed to use this technology for invoice factoring. However, current proposals lack in one or several aspects, such as decentralization and security against corruption, protecting business and personally identifiable information (PII), providing non-repudiation for handling disputes, Know-Your-Customer (KYC) compliance, easy user on-boarding, and being cost-efficient. In this article, a factoring registration protocol is proposed for invoice factoring registration based on a public distributed ledger which adheres to the aforementioned requirements. We include a relayer in our architecture to address the entry barrier that the users have due to the need of managing cryptocurrencies for interacting with the public ledger. Moreover, we leverage the concept of Verifiable Credentials (VCs) for KYC compliance, and allow parties to implement their self-sovereign identities by using decentralized identifiers (DIDs). DIDs enable us to relay on the DIDComm protocol for asynchronous and secure off-chain communications. We analyze our protocol from several security aspects, compare it to the related work, and study a possible business use case. Our evaluations demonstrate that our proposal is secure and efficient, as well as covers requirements not addressed by existing related work.

This paper presents a real-time global path planning method for mobile robots using harmonic functions, such as the Poisson equation, based on the Proper Generalized Decomposition (PGD) of these functions. The main property of the proposed technique is that the computational cost is negligible in real-time, even if the robot is disturbed or the goal is changed. The main idea of the method is the off-line generation, for a given environment, of the whole set of paths from any start and goal configurations of a mobile robot, namely the computational vademecum, derived from a harmonic potential field in order to use it on-line for decision-making purposes. Up until now, the resolution of the Laplace or Poisson equations has been based on traditional numerical techniques unfeasible for real-time calculation. This drawback has prevented the extensive use of harmonic functions in autonomous navigation, despite their powerful properties. The numerical technique that reverses this situation is the Proper Generalized Decomposition. To demonstrate and validate the properties of the PGD-vademecum in a potential-guided path planning framework, both real and simulated implementations have been developed. Simulated scenarios, such as an L-Shaped corridor and a benchmark bug trap, are used, and a real navigation of a LEGO®MINDSTORMS robot running in static environments with variable start and goal configurations is shown. This device has been selected due to its computational and memory-restricted capabilities, and it is a good example of how its properties could help the development of social robots.
