This research was aimed to investigate the psychological characteristics of Indonesian SEA Games Athletes in term of team sports. The psychological characteristics consists of motivation, self-confidence, anxiety control, mental preparation, team emphasis, and concentration. This research employed the quantitative approach using survey method with a restrospective causal-comparative design also called ex post facto. The subjects of this research were selected by means of purposive sampling technique. Subjects consisted of 83 athletes from team sports. The data were collected using Psychological Skills Inventory for Sports (PSIS) questionnaire. Those data were then analyzed using SPSS 23. the psychological characteristics consisting of aspects of motivation in the very high category with mean values (35.46), confidence in the high category with mean values (26.51), anxiety control in the high category with mean values (24.18), mental preparation in the high category with mean values (21.32), the team emphasis in the high category with mean values (15.17), and concentration in the moderate category with mean values (22.30). it can be concluded that the psychological characteristics of Indonesian SEA Games Athletes in term of team sports in the high category.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan: (1) karakteristik psikologis atlet SEA Games Indonesia ditinjau dari cabang olahraga individu, (2) ditinjau dari cabang olahraga tim, (3) perbedaan karakteristik psikologis atlet SEA Games Indonesia ditinjau dari cabang olahraga individu berdasarkan jenis kelamin, dan (4) olahraga tim berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi. Semua subjek dalam populasi diikutsertakan dalam penelitian dengan jumlah 273 atlet. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner The Psychological Skills Inventory for Sports. Teknik analisis data menggunakan independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) karakteristik psikologis atlet SEA Games Indonesia ditinjau dari cabang olahraga individu dalam kategori tinggi (2) ditinjau dari cabang olahraga tim dalam kategori tinggi (3) tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan karakteristik psikologis atlet SEA Games Indonesia ditinjau dari cabang olahraga individu berdasarkan jenis kelamin dengan nilai sig. = 0,092  > 0,05; dan (4) ada perbedaan yang signifikan karakteristik psikologis atlet SEA Games Indonesia ditinjau dari cabang olahraga tim berdasarkan jenis kelamin dengan nilai nilai sig. = 0,000 < 0,05. The psychological characteristics of Indonesian Sea Games athletes in terms of sports and sex AbstractThis research was aimed to investigate : (1) the psychological characteristics of  Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of individual sports, (2) in terms of team sports, (3) the psychological characteristic differences of Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of individual sports based on sex, and (4) the psychological characteristic differences of  Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of team sports based on sex. The research findings revealed that: (1) the psychological characteristics of  Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of individual sports were in a high category, (2) the psychological characteristics of  Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of team sports are in high category, (3) there were no significant differences in the psychological characteristics of  Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of individual sports based on sex sig. values = 0.092  > 0.05, and (4) there were significant differences in the psychological characteristics of Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of team sports based on sex with sig. values = 0.000 < 0.05.

The objective of this study is to investigate differences the psychological characteristic of Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of team sports based on sex. This research employed the quantitative approach using the survey method with a restrospective causal-comparative design. This research was population research. All subjects in the population were included in this research with a total of 83 athletes while 43 male athletes and 40 female athletes were from team sports. The data were collected using the Psychological Skills Inventory for Sports (PSIS) questionnaire and analyzed using the independent sample t test at the significance level of 0.05. The research findings revealed that there were significant differences in the psychological characteristics of Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of team sports based on sex with the mean score of male athletes = 150.1395 and female atheles = 139.3500 and sig. values = 0.000 < 0.05. There were significant differences in the psychological characteristics of Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of team sports based on sex.

The purposes of this research were (1) descriptively that to find out considers discipline of students, learning motivation, and  learning method (2) correlationally which was to know relationship among discipline of students, learning motivation, and learning method with students mathematic achievement to eight grade student’s of Junior High School in Piyungan district on 2013/2014 academic year. This research is ex post facto. The population of this research was all students of class VIII in Piyungan district on 2013/2014 academic year with sample size was 112 students. The sampling technique use was cluster random sampling. The techniques of collecting data use questionnaire and test. The techniques of analyzing data applied were regression and correlation analysis. Before that, the testing of precondition analysis used which normality, linearity, multicolinierity analyses. The result of research shows descriptively it considers discipline of students in very high category, considers learning motivation in high category, considers learning method in high category, considers students mathematic achievement in high category. While correlatively that there were positive relationship and significant among discipline of students, learning motivation, learning method with students mathematic achievement with grouply or separately

The students’ learning results in Biology are influenced by two factors, namely internal and external factors. The internal factors that can influence learning results are learning style, learning independence, and learning interest. The research aims to discover the relation of  learning style, learning independence and learning interest with Biology learning results of the students at SMAN 1 Tonra in Bone District.The research is ex post facto. The population of the research were the students of class IPA at SMAN 1 Tonra in Bone District of academic year 2016/2017. The samples were 194 students taken by using stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected by employing questionnaire and documentation. The data of the research were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics techniques. The results of the research reveal that (i) the students’ learning style tends to be in visual type, (ii) the students’ learning independence is in high category, (iii) the students’ learning interest is in high category, (iv) the students’ Biology learning results is in high category, (v) there is strong relation between learning style and the students’ Biology learning results, (vi) there is fairly strong relation between learning independence and the students’ Biology learning results, (vii) there is strong relation between learning interest and the students’ Biology learning results, and (viii) there is very strong relation between learning style, learning independence, and learning interest toword Biology learning results of the students at SMAN 1 Tonra in Bone District.

Introduction: There is overwhelming evidence on the increase of dysfunctional social wellbeing among service members returning from deployment, and this is culminating into wide range of social challenges. The study investigated psycho-demographic factors influencing social wellbeing among mobile police force in Kwara State, Nigeria.. Method: The study adopted a survey method utilizing an ex-post-facto design; purposive sampling technique was used to sample 200 mobile police officers (152 males and 48 females). They completed a questionnaire pack which included-the Post-Deployment Readjustment Inventory Scale, Emotion Regulation Questionnaire and Mental Health Continuum of Social Wellbeing-Short Form. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics, Pearson Product Moment Correlation, ANOVA and Multiple Regression. Results: Findings showed that emotion regulation has positive relationship with social wellbeing. Also, age, emotion regulations and post-deployment stress as a whole did significantly predict social wellbeing among the sampled participants. However, emotion regulation did independently predict social wellbeing, though marital status did not significantly influence social wellbeing among the participants. Conclusion: The study present emotion regulation as a great predictor of social wellbeing. It is recommended that; emotion regulation should be built into the training and debriefing of mobile police before and after deployment to aid their better social wellbeing.ls.

In Indonesia, thesis is a scientific paper written by prospective undergraduates as a requirement to obtain a bachelor's degree in an undergraduate study program which of course in the process often experiences anxiety which will affect the performance of students on campus, especially students of the Faculty of Medicine. This study aims to determine the level of anxiety in the implementation of student essay at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. This research is a descriptive research with survey method. The number of samples is 170 respondents and sampling method using random sampling technique. The results of the study showed the prevalence of anxiety levels in students of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University class 2017 in the mild category as many as 135 people (79.4%), the moderate category as many as 31 people (18.2%) and the high category as many as 4 people (2.4%). For each study program, the level of anxiety experienced is relatively the same, the highest category in the mild category, then followed by the moderate category and the last with the smallest number, namely the high category.

The results of the research reveal that (i) the students’ emotional intelligence is in high category, (ii) the students’ learning motivation is in high category, (iii) the students’ Biology learning results is in high category, (v) there is fairly strong relation between emotional intelligence and the students’ Biology learning results, (vi) there is fairly strong relation between learning motivation and the students’ Biology learning results, and (viii) there is strong relation between emotional intelligence and learning motivation toword Biology learning results of the students at SMAN 3 Luwuk in Banggai District.

This study aims to identify the effect of the teacher professionalism and the students' learning motivation on the learning effectiveness of the students in Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 2 Wonosari. The study used a survey method with ex post facto approach. The population consists of 420 students of SMK 2 Wonosari from the Program of Civil Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Automotive Engineering. The sample was selected using random sampling technique. The data is analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression analysis. The results point out that most students’ perceptions on the level of teacher professionalism on productive subjects belongs to medium category, student learning motivation is in medium category, and the student learning effectiveness on productive is categorized into medium category. Teacher professionalism and student motivation have positive impact or is significant on the learning effectiveness of the students.

The present study aimed at unraveling the relationship between the trait emotional competence of teachers in normal schools and in special schools and their psychological characteristics mental health, sociability, and emotional wellbeing. The researcher adopted descriptive survey method which enabled her to design her own data collecting instrument for studying emotional competence of teachers and also to make use of suitable sampling technique for identifying the relationship between the dependent and independent variables in a scientific manner. The study has shown that mental health and sociability are the significant correlates of emotional competence of both the categories of teachers. The further analysis revealed that both the psychological correlates have emerged as the significant predictors of the trait emotional competence. The researcher has discussed the implications of the findings at length.

This study aimed to identify the psychological profile of athletes PON Papua. In addition, each psychological aspect of Athlete PON Papua will be analyzed the condition of each psychological aspect along with the spread of athletes and their presentation. The method used in this study is a survey method with expost facto research design. The population in this study are athletes Papua who will be prepared road to PON XX 2020. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with the criteria for athletes PON Papua who had conducted training camps Papua Province in 2019. Based on that, the research samples obtained from athletes in sports are; Handball, Softball, Athletics, Cricket, Futsal, Basketball, Pencaksilat totaling 101 athletes. Data collection uses the Psychological Skills Inventory for Sports (PSIS) questionnaire. The results showed that the psychological profile of athletes PON Papua road to PON XX 2020 was generally in good condition.
