This research was focusing on the low of student’s learning outcome, specially on Basic Electronics subject at SMKN 2 Payakumbuh. The subjective is to reveal the effect of applying Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model to the subject. By using Quasi experimental with simple random sampling; one of probability sampling tecnique, the model was enducted in experiment class. A control class where Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, was also implemented to compare the treatment. The primary data was measured by structured  test (Post-test) according to basic competences described of the subject based on the t-test result, complying the pre-requisite test such as normalityexamination, this research found that t>t0 (2,48 > 2.01). This proves that there are significant differences in student learning outcomes using cooperative learning model type Students Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) with Scientific approach of Problem Based Learning type in subjects of Basic Electronics Technique class X Audio Technique Video at SMKN 2 Payakumbuh.Keywords : Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD, Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model,  learning outcomes, learning model.

The objective is to reveal the comparisons of applying inquiry learning model and problem based learning model to the subject. By using Quasi experimental with simple random sampling; one of probability sampling tecnique, the Inqury model was enducted in experiment class and The Other class where PBL learning model, was also implemented to compare the treatment. The primary data was collected by structured  test (Pre-test and Post-test) according to basic competences described of the subject. based on the t-test result, complying the pre-requisite test such as normalityexamination, this research found that t0≥t ≥ t0 (-2,052 ≥ 2,55  ≥  2,052). However, the result has shown that inquiry learning model is providing better student’s learning outcome than PBL model. The ability to solve problems is a skill that students need to have in dealing with various problems in life. This study aims to determine the effect of problem based learning models; cognitive styles and interaction between both factors on science learning outcomes of students in class VII of MTs 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur in academic year 2015/2016. This research was conducted with a quasi-experimental research method by applying a 2 × 2 factorial design. The study sample consisted of an experimental class of 30 students and a control class of 29 students. Data collection was conducted using two types of instruments, namely the Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT) to measure students cognitive styles and students' learning outcomes test in essay forms. The Problem Based Learning model affect the learning outcomes, there is significant difference in science learning outcomes between students who have Cognitive field dependent (FD) style that is taught by the Problem Based Learning model and students who have Cognitive FD style that is taught by conventional learning models. The results show that the value of the experimental class post-test is higher than that of the control class. In short, the experimental class with the application of the Problem Based Learning model in the learning process provides higher learning outcomes than that of the conventional models.

AbstractThis research is based on the low outcomes of class XI students on their chemistry subject. Therefore, the experiment research by pretest and posttest to discover the effect of cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) by using Handout toward learning outcomes of State Senior High School 1 Kampar on salt hydrolysis is conducted. The subject of this research is the students of class XI Mia in 2015-2016 year by using 2 classroom samples: XI Mia 1 (exsperiment) dan XI Mia 4 (control). The data was collected by using observation, initial test (homogeneity), final test (pretest and postest), and documentation. To discover the effect of the model on learning outcomes, the formula of Kp is applied. The effect differences are analyzed by t-test sampel related. The analysis result of initial and final data is t-counting = 2.325 and t-table = 1,68 in the significant rate of 5%. The value of t-counting > t-table, therefore, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is the effect of cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) by using handout toward learning outcomes of State Senior High School 1 Kampar on salt hydrolysis by the effect as much as 7.8%.  Key words:      Learning outcomes, model learning model of STAD, salt hydrolysis

Abstrak – Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas X SMAN 2 Praya tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian post-test only group design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas X SMAN 2 Praya Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 berjumlah 400 orang. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, sehingga diperoleh kelas X 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X 6 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes multiple choice dengan lima alternatif jawaban. Hipotesis Penelitian diuji menggunakan t-test polled varians, diperoleh thitungsebesar 3,42 dan ttabelsebesar 1,99 pada taraf signifikansi 5 %. Oleh karena  t­hitung > ttabel, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas X SMAN 2 Praya tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, hasil belajar. Abstract – The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of problem based learning model toward physics learning outcomes at SMAN 2 Praya grade X at the academic year 2015/2016. This study was experiment with post-test only control group design. The population of this study were all students of Xth grade with number of students were 400 students. Cluster random sampling was used to choose the class sample with X-4 as experiment class and X-6 as control class. The instrument of this study used multiple choise test with 5 alternative answer. Based from the result, data were analyzed using t-test polled varians. The data obtained 3.42 for the t-hint and 1.99 for the t-table with significant level 5%. Therefore t-hint > t-table, the H0 rejected and Ha be accepted. This result shows that problem based learning model is influencing the stuent’s physics academy result at SMAN 2 Praya Xth grade academic year 2015/2016. Keywords: Problem based learning model, learning outcomes.

This research have purpose to know the effect of problem based learning model on student’s learning outcomes and student’s learning activity on geometry optic topic. This research is a quasi experiment using control group pre-test-post-test design. The sampel of theses research consisted of two classes, each contains 30 students. By using total sampling, one class is made as experiment class that uses problem based learning model, and one class is as control that uses conventional learning model, so class XI science -1 as control class and class XI science -2 as experiment class. The instrument used was a test of learning outcomes in the form of students learning outcomes in the form of 7 essay test. In the experimental class the average activity of students in the three meeting, are 62.44, 70.67 and 77.78. The learning activity have increase during three times meeting and have average value 70.33 and have good category. The data obtain so problem based learning model can increase learning activity on geometry optic topic of SMA Negeri 2 Lintongnihuta class XI science second semester A.Y. 2017/2018. The value of the average post-test experimental class was 75.13 and control class was 67.10. Hypothesis with t-test shows the result there was a significant effect of problem based learning model on student’s learning outcomes on geometry optic topic of SMA Negeri 2 Lintongnihuta class XI science second semester A.Y. 2017/2018.Keywords: Problem based learning model, conventional learning model, learning outcomes, quasi experiment, learning activity.

By using true experimental with simple random sampling; one of probability sampling tecnique, the model wa enducted in experiment class. A control class where STAD type of cooperative learning model, was also implemented to compare the treatment. The primary data was measured by structured  test (Pre-test and Post-test) according to basic competences described of the subject. based on the t-test result, complying the pre-requisite test such as normalityexamination, this research found that t>t0 (1,742 > 1,701). However, the result has shown that inquiry learning model is providing better student’s learning outcome than STAD model. This research aimed to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning Model on physics learning outcome of students in the subject physics mulberry and its unit in X class SMA Katolik Budi Murni 3 of Medan T.P 2013/2014. The kinds of this reaserch is quasi-experimental. The population in this research is all of the students of  X class SMA Katolik Budi Murni 3 of Medan which consisting of  4 classes totally 130 sample students . the cluster random sampling was done by taking 2 classes of 4 classes are randomly. The class of X­­-2 as experiment class and X-4 as control class that each class is 34 and 36 students. The instrument used achievement test is a multiple-choice test consist of 10 questions that have fulfilled content validity. The eksperimental class treated by using Problem Based Learning Model  and control class by using convensional model. Based on t test that Ha is accepted, it means that Problem Based Learning Model has significant impact in improving student learning outcomes. Keywords : Problem Based Learning Model, Studing Result and StudentActivity.

    This study explored the effect of problem-based learning and motivation toward learning outcomes of the subject of computer routing network. Computer routing network is part of the subject of computer network design in a computer network engineering class. The purpose of this study was to examine the difference in learning outcomes between students treated with the problems based learning model and treated with direct learning model by considering students’ learning motivation. This study was categorized as quasi-experimental designed with a factorial experimental design. The sampling technique used purpose-sampling. The data were analyzed using a two-way Anava method. The results of the study showed that (1) the learning outcomes of students in the subject of routing network with problem-based learning model was better than the student treated with direct instruction learning, (2) based on the learning outcomes in the subject of routing network, a group of students with high motivation was better, and (3) there is an interaction between the application of problem-based-learning model and motivation to the students learning outcomes.

This study aims to analyze the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model to develop learning motivation and learning outcomes in citizenship education learning. The use of PBL models in this study aims to help students develop investigative skills to be able to solve the problem at hand. The method in this study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and is used in the pre-test and post-test design groups. The subjects in this study were 34 students in SMP Negeri 6 Yogyakarta. The data analysis technique used "t" test with SPSS 16 assistance program and N-gain score test. The results of this study indicate that the PBL learning model on the values of the Pancasila material as a basis for the country and the national outlook on life significantly influence student motivation and learning outcomes. In this case, the PBL model can develop learning motivation and learning outcomes in the medium category.

This research aims to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning model on the student’s learning outcomes in the subject matter dynamic fluid. This research is a quasi-experimental study with two group design Pre-test and post-test, this study population was all students of class XI SMA Private Panca Budi Medan TP 2014 / 2015. The samples were taken by cluster random sampling technique, which consists of two classes, PBL applied in experiment class and conventional learning applied in control class, Data was obtained by using 12 essay instruments, observation ofactivities, attitudes and skills of students. From the analysis of the data for the experiment class gained an average of 30.5 Pre-test and the average value of Post-test 74.2. Control classes gained an average of 33.2 Pre-test and average Post-test 65.8. Both classes are normally distributed and have a homogen variation. t count was 2,016 at the real level of 0.05 where t count was 2,407 and t count > t table. So that there is significant effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) to student’s learning result in the subject matter dynamic fluid of class XI SMA Private Panca Budi Medan TP 2014/2015.
