Social connection requires each individual to have a strong understanding of the environment. Concept understanding can be improved through software. The goal of this research is to predict the effect of mathematics learning using Cabri 3D software. The dependent variable is the mathematics concept of understanding ability. The independent variable is the dummy variable that determines the type of the class. The value of the dummy variable for the class that applied the Problem-based Learning (PBL) assisted by Cabri 3D is 1 and the value of the dummy variable for class without Cabri 3D is 0.  Students' mathematics ability was measured by a percentage or probability. The values of the mathematical concept understanding obtained by students were converted into probability values. After the data has been collected, probit regression analysis was used to see the probability of success of mathematical concepts understanding of those who were taught using PBL and those who were taught without using PBL without Cabri 3D. The results of data analysis showed that the types of classes significantly affect the mathematical concept of understanding ability. Thus, it can be concluded that learning with Cabri 3D can improve the mathematical concept of understanding ability.

This study aims to determine the effect of mathematical logical intelligence and self-regulated learning on the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts in online-based mathematics learning. This research is survey research by giving a logical-mathematical intelligence test, a self-regulated learning questionnaire, and a mathematical concept understanding ability test to 142 X grade students in one of the Jakarta State Senior High Schools. Statistical analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it can be seen that there is an effect of mathematical logical intelligence and self-regulated learning together on the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts in online-based mathematics learning by 49.53%, there is an influence of mathematical logical intelligence significantly on the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts in online-based mathematics learning, and there is no significant effect of self-regulated learning on the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts in online-based mathematics learning.

Culture-based education has a vital role of individuals and communities to achieve progressivity in all aspects of life. Math-based culture called ethnomathematics is an approach that can be used to explain the role of mathematics in a multicultural society. Mathematical concepts used to explore the existence of mathematics in culture, especially traditional societies of Lampung. This study aims to describe the results of exploration Lampung Ethnomathematics with this kind of exploratory research as well as an ethnographic approach. The results showed that without studying the mathematical concept, traditional society of Lampung have applied these concepts in their daily lives using ethnomathematics. Proved the existence of mathematical concepts contained in custom home building, the local unit of  Lampung, geometric shapes motif of tapis, as well as traditional games Lampung. Researchers suggest the results of this study to (a) used as alternative ideas mathematics learning outside the classroom, (b) introduced in learning formal mathematics as initial capital to teach the concept of mathematics to students, (c) be used as reference material for preparing a matter of mathematical problem-solving context.

The ability of students to understand the concept of learning varies, it is very necessary to know the level of understanding of students' concepts in learning mathematics, so that it becomes a rationale in determining the appropriate learning approach. This study aims to determine the effect learning approach of the ELPSA eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Makassar. The type of research used is experimental research. The design of this research is the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Makassar in the 2019/2020 academic year and the research sample was determined by the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The instrument in this study was an essay test on understanding mathematical concepts. The data analysis used was descriptive and inferential. The descriptive research results show that there is an increase in understanding of the mathematical concept after the application of the ELPSA learning approach; the score of concept understanding after the application of the ELPSA learning approach met the completeness criteria, namely more than 80; and completeness of students' conceptual understanding after being applied classical ELPSA learning approach is 97% complete. The inferential hypothesis testing results show that the application of the ELPSA learning approach affects the understanding of mathematical concepts in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Makassar.

This research aims to determine the influence of students' learning activities on the ability to understanding mathematical concepts through the STEM Learning Approach Makerspace model based on PBL on SPLDV materials. As for the type of research Quasi-Experiments. The population in this study was 90 students who were distributed into 3 classes with 2 classes that sampled grades VIII A and VIII C. The sampling techniques in this study used randomized classes and data collection techniques in this study were tests and observations, while the research instruments used preliminary tests and final tests to measure the ability to understand mathematical concepts and observation sheets to see students' learning activities. Data analysis techniques using a two-way ANOVA test. The research showed that there is an influence of the PBL-based Makerspace STEM Learning Approach model on the ability to understand mathematical concepts, there is no influence on students' learning activities on mathematical concept comprehension capabilities, and there is no interaction between the PBL-based Stem Learning Approach Makerspace model and student learning activities on the ability to understand mathematical concepts. Conclusion, there is a positive direct effect of cognitive structures on the ability to understanding mathematical concepts.

The purpose of this research was to find out the increase in the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who were taught with better Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) models than students who were taught with convensional model on the material of flat side space in MTsS Dama Puteh. The CUPs models has three stages including: individual, triplets, and class discussions. The author uses an experimental research design with a quasi-experimental design. Sampling was done using population random sampling. In this study all students of class VIII MTsS Dama Puteh. In this study consisted of two classes, namely class VIIIB as an experimental class and class VIIIA as a control class. Data collection using the ability test mathematical concept understanding of the results showed that based one the t-test obtained tcount = 1,8 and ttable = 1,68. Because tcount > ttable so that it can be concluded that the increased ability of understanding mathematical concepts of students taught with more CUPs models better than students who were taught with convensional models on the material to build flat side spaces in MTsS Dama Puteh.

The low ability to understand concepts is something that is still often found in mathematics learning, especially in secondary schools. One of the reasons is the lack of learning device  that encourage students to be active in learning. Therefore, it is necessary to develop contextual learning tools in an effort to improve students' the ability understand mathematical concepts (AUMC) students. The type of research is descriptive quantitative. The research instrument was in the form of a learning device validation sheet. The research subjects were learning device which included lesson plans, student activity sheets (SAS), and students' AUMC tests. The object of research is the level of validity of the learning device. The results showed that the lesson plan with an index V of 0.72 was categorized as valid. SAS with an index V of 0.78 is categorized as valid, The AUMC-1 test and the AUMC-2 test with an index of V 0.76 and 0.74 were included in the valid category. It can be concluded that the contextual approach in improving student AUMC from the aspects of format, language and content is valid.

Kemiskinan merupakan salah satu permasalahan mendasar yang telah menjadi perhatian utama berbagai negara di dunia termasuk Indonesia. Agar pengentasan kemiskinan berjalan efektif tentunya perlu diketahui dan diukur kuat pengaruh faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemiskinan. Faktor-faktor tersebut diantaranya adalah modal SDM dan modal sosial. Untuk mengukur kontribusi faktor-faktor tersebut digunakan analisis regresi. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini bersifat kategorik biner (1=miskin, 0=tidak) sehingga analisis regresi yang bisa digunakan adalah analisis regresi logistik dan probit. Penelitian ini menggunakan regresi probit untuk mengetahui pengaruh modal sosial dan modal SDM terhadap kemiskinan. Pada analisis regresi probit, asumsi yang harus dipenuhi adalah tidak adanya korelasi antara variabel bebas dan error pada model, apabila hal tersebut tidak terpenuhi maka akan muncul permasalahan yang disebut dengan endogenitas yang mengakibatkan hasil taksiran parameter yang dihasilkan bias. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh informasi bahwa variabel modal sosial merupakan variabel endogen sehingga digunakan metode Two Probit Least Square (2PLS) untuk mengatasi permasalahan endogenitas yang terjadi. Berdasarkan hasil regresi probit dengan menggunakan metode 2PLS diperoleh tiga variabel bebas yang berpengaruh negatif terhadap peluang rumah tangga menjadi miskin, variabel-variabel tersebut adalah modal sosial, lama sekolah dan umur. Sedangkan variabel ukuran rumah tangga berpengaruh positif terhadap peluang rumah tangga menjadi miskin di Indonesia. [Poverty is one of the fundamental problems. It has been a major concern of governments in various countries around the world, including Indonesia. In order for poverty alleviation to be effective, it is necessary to know and measured strongly the influence of factors affecting poverty. These factors include human capital and social capital. To measure the contribution of these factors is used regression analysis. The independent variables in this study are binary categorical (1=poor, 0=no) so that regression analysis that can be used is logistic and probit regression analysis. This research uses probit regression to know the influence of social capital and human capital to poverty. In the probit regression analysis, the assumption that must be met is the absence of correlation between the independent variable and error in the model, if it is not fulfilled then the problem will arise called endogeneity which can lead to bias parameter. In this study obtained information that social capital variable is an endogenous variable, so Two Probit Least Square (2PLS) method used to overcome the problem of endogeneity that happened. Based on the results of probit regression using 2PLS method obtained three independent variables that negatively affect the probability of households to be poor, these variables are social capital, school, and age. While the variable size of households positively affects the probability of households being poor in Indonesia.]

<p><em>This study aims to see the effect of: 1) cognitive style (Field Independent and Field Dependent) on the ability to understand mathematical concepts; 2) application of the geogebra-assisted cycle 7e learning model on the ability to understand mathematical concepts; 3) the interaction between the learning model group (learning cycle 7E learning model, learning cycle learning model 7E assisted by geogebra and conventional learning model) and the cognitive style group on students' mathematical concept understanding abilities. Quasi experimental design is used as a research method with data collection techniques using concept understanding tests and cognitive style tests. The two-way ANOVA test was used to find answers to the research objectives that had previously been tested for normality and homogeneity tests. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that: 1) The application of the 7E learning cycle learning model with geogebra has a good effect on the ability to understand mathematical concepts; 2) cognitive style has no effect on mathematical understanding ability; and 3) there is no interaction between the learning model group and the cognitive style group on the ability to understand mathematical concepts.</em></p>

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan LKS berbasis inkuiri dengan pembelajaran konvensional menggunakan LKS  terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperiment dengan populasi 160 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes essay sebanyak 4 soal yang telah valid dan reliabel ( ). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t satu pihak untuk hippotesis 1 dan 2 serta uji-t polled varians untuk hipotesis 3 dengan taraf  keyakinan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pembelajaran menggunakan LKS berbasis inkuiri berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam; (2) pembelajaran konvensioanal dengan menggunakan LKS tidak berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam; (3) terdapat perbedaan antara pembelajaran menggunakan LKS berbasis inkuiri dengan pembelajaran konvensional menggunakan LKS terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam. This research aims to determine the effect of using inquiry-based student’s worksheet with conventional learning using student’s worksheet on the ability to understand mathematical concepts of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam. Type of this research is a quasi experiment with the entirety population XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam with amount 160 students. The research sample is XI IPA 4 as the experiment class and XI IPA 3 as the control class. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The intrument of this research is an essay test, which is 4 questions and has been valid and reliable ( . The data analysis technique used is one part t-test  for hyphoteses 1 and 2 with polled varians t-test for hyphoteses 3 with a 5% certainty level. The results showed that: (1) learning using inquiry-based student’s worksheet affected on the ability of understand mathematical concept class XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam; (2) conventional learning using student’s worksheet hasn’t effect on the ability of understand mathematical concept class XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam; (3) there is a difference between learning using inquiry-based student’s worksheet with conventional learning using student’s worksheet on the ability to understand mathematical concept class XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam. keywords: Student’s Worksheet, Inquiry, Student’s Mathematical Concept Understanding Ability.

At the time of the Covid-19 pandemic, all learning was carried out online or online learning, while schools and students had to follow the existing curriculum in their schools, which of course not all of their lessons were happy. Mathematics is one of the subjects that is always a scourge for students, regardless of those who enjoy mathematics. The reasons vary, some say the lessons are difficult to understand, students are not interested in learning mathematics, the teachers are boring, and so on. So that many parents of students who provide additional tutoring for their children by hiring math teachers, in the hope that their children are mathematically intelligent. This study aims to examine the effect of using animated interactive multimedia on students' understanding of the concept of understanding mathematical concepts. The population of this study were students of class VII MTs Darul Ulum Muhammadiyah Galur even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. Of the five existing classes, two classes were taken randomly as samples with one class as the experimental class and one class as the control class. This study used the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The research data were obtained through a test in the form of a description of the rectangular and square material. The results showed that there was a difference in the understanding of mathematical concepts in students who used animated interactive multimedia higher than the understanding of mathematical concepts of students who took conventional learning, and there was a positive and significant effect of the use of animated interactive media on the Mathematical Concept Understanding of Class VII MTs Darul Ulum Muhammadiyah Galur Tahun Students 2019/2020 Teaching
