Poor mathematical communication skills and motivation are influenced by several factors, such as the use of learning models used by teachers in learning. The use of appropriate learning models can improve students’ mathematical communication skills and motivation. This study aimed to determine the effect of the discussion learning model using Google Classroom and Google Form on students' mathematical communication in terms of students’ learning motivation. This type of research is quasi-experimental. Data were analyzed using two-way analysis of variance with unequal cells. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the discussion learning model using Google Classroom provided better communication skills than the learning model using Google Form, (2) there was no difference in the effect of learning motivation on students' mathematical communication, and (3) there was no interaction between learning model and learning motivation towards students' mathematical communication skills. Further research is needed to develop learning models using Google Classroom and Google Form by taking into account the characteristics of other students that are adjusted to the school curriculum.

This research is a quasi-experimental study which aims to describe the effect of cooperative learning type Think Pair Share (TPS) on students' mathematical communication skills, and to find out the percentage of students' activeness in participating in learning and knowing students' positive responses to learning. The output that will be generated in this study is that students can be more active in the learning process, more active in solving mathematical problems, and can be more confident in expressing their answers in public so that after applying cooperative learning models the Think Pair Share (TPS) mathematical communication skills of students will be better. The research subjects were divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental group taught using the cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) type, and the control group taught using Conventional learning models. Each group is taught with the same frequency of meetings with the same material. The results of the study show that the application of the cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) influences students' mathematical communication skills

The learning model that is applied is a learning model that provides an opportunity for students to construct their own knowledge, so that students are easier to understand the concepts taught and communicate their ideas in oral and written forms and provide space for students to interact with their friends to provide and receive and solve material in the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of take and give learning models on the improvement of mathematical communication skills of class VII MT MA Hunibera. The study was conducted using the quasi-experimental method, while the design used by the two groups posttest only design experiment. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling, class VII A as many as 30 students as the experimental class and class B as many as 30 students as the control class. Because the data distribution is normal and homogeneous, the hypothesis used by the t-test, from the calculation results obtained  = 2,51 and  = 2,002, because , then is rejected  is accepted, it shows that there is an influence of the use of take and give learning models on improving mathematical communication skills students.

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the mathematical communication skills and attitudes of students who were taught with the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy were better than conventional learning. This research is a quasi-experimental research which compares two learning models, namely the TTW cooperative learning model and the conventional learning model. This research was conducted on students of class VII SMPS Mentari Bangsa Medan, which consisted of 2 classes. This study involved two variables, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable. The independent variable is the TTW and KAM learning strategy, while the dependent variable is the mathematical communication skills and attitudes of students towards learning. The sample consist of 42 students for TTW strategy and 37 students for conventional learning. The conclusion is that students who get learning with the TTW strategy have significantly better mathematical communication skills than students who get conventional learning (tcount = 4,93 more than ttable =1,66) and the attitudes of students who get learning with the TTW strategy are significantly better than students who get conventional learning (tcount = 3,14 more than ttable = 1,66).

Mathematical communication skills of students are still relatively low. One learning model can improve students 'mathematical communication skills and at the same time students' mathematical disposition is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The aim to be achieved is to find out the improvement of students 'mathematical communication skills and mathematical disposition using PBL models in terms of students' initial mathematical level. This research is an experimental research design with pretest posttest control group design. The research population was Grade VII students of SMP 9 Langsa. Students are grouped into two classes namely the experimental class and the control class randomly selected from eight parallel classes. The instrument used was a test of mathematical communication skills and a mathematical disposition questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using two-way ANOVA. The results showed that improving students 'mathematical communication ability and students' mathematical disposition by applying PBL learning models is better than students applying conventional learning models. There is no interaction between the PBL learning model with student level on mathematical communication skills and students' mathematical disposition. This study aims to determine whether the Round Table cooperative learning model influences the mathematical communication skills of students of SMAN 101 Jakarta. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year on the subject of Lines and Series. The research method used was quasi-experimental. The target population of this study were all students of SMAN 101 Jakarta and the affordable population in this study were students of XI MIPA. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling technique. The research instrument used was a test of mathematical communication skills as many as four description questions. the instrument has gone through content validation tests, construct validation and empirical validation. After the instrument is valid, reliability is tested where the correlation coefficient obtained is 0.5602. After testing the normality, homogeneity and similarity of averages and cluster random sampling. XI MIPA 2 was chosen as the control class and XI MIPA 4 as the experimental class. Based on the calculation of the research data of the two classes, each of them is normally distributed and has the same or homogeneous variance. Therefore, hypothesis testing is done by using t-test statistics with a significant level α = 0.05. Based on the results of the test, the value of tcount = 2.43499 and t table = 1.6682 is obtained, so that it gets tcount> ttable. So reject H0. This shows that there is the influence of Round Table cooperative learning model on mathematical communication skills of students of SMAN 101 Jakarta.

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the trade a problem learning model by rewarding students' mathematical communication skills. This type of research is quasi-experimental research by determining one class of research samples taken randomly as the experimental class. In this study the method of data retrieval is carried out by applying to an experimental class a treatment condition. The population in this study were all VII grade students of SMP N 1 Gunung Malelala. The results show a strong relationship between the Trade A Problem learning model and reward for students' communication skills. Based on the results of the calculation of the regression equation the equation 𝑌̂=27,87+0,64𝑋 is obtained. In this equation the regression direction coefficient (b) = 0.64 is positive, which means that the two variables have a positive linear relationship. Keywords: trade a problem, mathematical communication skills.
