This paper is aimed at discussing the strategic role of school (madrasah) in the country. Madrasah is one of the Islamic educational institutions that have an important role for the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. Madrasah is a place to galvanize the mental, moral, and spiritual of the young generation to educate students to be useful beings for the religion, state, and nation. Private Madrasahs as one of the Islamic Education Institutions in Indonesia have a strategic role in the participation of the nation's intellectuals. In the next developments, private madrasahs face complex issues. In one hand, there is a demand to improve the quality in order to compete with state Islamic education institutions and public schools, but on the other hand, the attention of the government, both central and local, to Islamic educational institutions is still low, even they are still placed not as the main class, but the second class of education institutions. The Ministry of Religious Affairs, which became the central policy, began to formulate serious efforts to improve the quality of madrasahs, such as through the Ministry's Strategic Plan.

ABSTRACT  Islamic Religious Instructor has a quite strategic role in the midst of society. besides he is a preacher of Islam, also the Islamic Religious Instructor, according to his function as a guide, illuminator, and community builder with religious language. The role of religious counselors in addition to functioning as an impetus for the community to actively participate in development also plays a role in overcoming obstacles that build the course of development, particularly overcoming negative impacts. Religious instructors as religious leaders always guide, nurture, and move the community to do good and stay away from prohibited acts, inviting something that is needed by the community in fostering its territory both for the purposes of social facilities and worship. The Religious Instructor is a place to ask questions and a place to complain for his community to solve and resolve with his advice. Religious Instructors as community leaders act as priests in matters of religion and social problems as well as in matters of state by an effort to succeed the government program. The role of religious instructors in improving and creating the quality of sakinah families in the Muhajirin AL Muhajirin voluntary II Ta'lim Assembly group in Teluk Betung Barat Subdistrict, Bandar Lampung City, it can be concluded that religious counselors play an important role in improving the quality of sakinah families, one of which is in terms of worship , and also able to improve the quality of a new family and has long become a sakinah family.

Dalam mengoptimalkan penerimaan pajak, pemerintah selayaknya mendesain sistem perpajakan yang berpegang prinsip efisiensi dengan tetap memperhatikan aspek keadil-an dan kesederhana. Dalam sistem perpajakan, hukum formal mempunyai peranan penting dalam mengejawantahkan hukum material, karena itu Undang-undang Ketentu-an Umum dan Tata Cara Perpajakan (KUP) menjadi salah satu kunci keberhasilan implementasi kebijakan pajak. Mengingat strategisnya peran UU KUP, perlu untuk mereview kembali UU KUP yang saat ini berlaku serta perlu dilakukan suatu penyempurnaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data kualitatif yang terdiri dari studi literatur dan focus group discussion. Penelitian bertujuan memberikan masukan atas KUP yang saat ini masih dalam proses pembahasan dengan menekankan pada aspek kemudahan (ease of administration), keadilan (equity) dan kepastian hukum (law enforcement). Hasil penelitian ini menekan-kan pada hal-hal terkait (i) perlunya meningkatkan basis data perpajakan, (ii) perlunya menjalankan kemudahan administrasi yang berdasarkan ketentuan yang tegas, jelas, dan sederhana, (iii) penegakan hukum yang tegas, (iv) adanya sanksi yang sebanding dengan pelanggaran yang dilakukan oleh wajib pajak, dan (v) peningkatan kualitas layanan dan profesionalisme petugas pajak. Kajian ini diharapkan mampu mendorong terwujudnya regulasi perpajakan pro terhadap optimalisasi penerimaan tanpa mencede-rai hak-hak wajib pajak. Proposal for Amendment of Formal Law on Taxation Procedure  In optimizing tax revenue, the government should design a taxation system that adheres to the principle of efficiency, justice and simplicity. In the taxation system, formal law has an important role in manifesting laws, therefore laws and taxation procedures (KUP) are one of the keys to the successful implementation of tax policies. Considering the strategic role of the KUP Law, it is necessary to review the KUP Law which is currently in force and needs to be improved. This study uses a qualitative approach with qualitative data collection techniques consisting of literature studies and focus group discussions. The research aims to provide input on KUP which is currently still in the process of discussion by emphasizing aspects of ease (ease of administration), justice (equity) and legal certainty (law enforcement). The results emphasize issues related to (i) the need to increase the taxation database, (ii) the need to carry out administrative facilities based on firm, clear and simple provisions, (iii) strict law enforcement, (iv) comparable sanctions with violations committed by taxpayers and (v) improving the quality of service and professionalism of tax officials. This study is expected to be able to encourage the realization of tax regulations that are pro to the optimization of revenue without harming the rights of taxpayers.

Aceh Tamiang is an area with a majority Muslim population, not even one in Adil Makmur Village, Tenggulun, which is the location for this activity to find other places of worship besides mosques and prayer rooms. However, there is a decline in the quality of reading and writing the Koran in today's young generation compared to previous generations. This is due to the lack of parental attention to the quality of children's reading of the Koran, because they have fully surrendered this role to existing Koranic educational institutions. While in the previous generation, most parents were very disciplined for matters related to religious knowledge, especially reading and writing the Koran. The implementation of this Action Research aims to improve the literacy and writing skills of the young generation of the Koran in Adil Makmur Village, Tenggulun, Aceh Tamiang by empowering STAI As-sunnah students for Tahsin al-Qiraah activities. The method used is Participatory Action Research. By doing 3 stages: Planning-Action-Evaluation. The result of this activity: increased public enthusiasm for the importance of the younger generation having the ability to read and write the Koran in Adil Makmur Village, Tenggulun, Aceh Tamiang. In addition, this activity has also succeeded in making the role of parents as the main guides for children re-enforced

Al-Ittihadiyah is one of the largest and oldest Islamic organizations in Indonesia. Born on January 27, 1935 ago, Al-Ittihadiyah played an important role in the movement of Muslims, both in education, social, da'wah, and politics. Using a qualitatively descriptive approach as well as referring to primary literartur, this paper aims to determine the modernization of Islamic education at AL-Ittihadiyah educational institutions which include objectives, curriculum and education methods Al-Ittihadiyah. In addition, this paper also explains how the role of Al-Ittihadiyah in social, political, economic and religious fields. The results showed that the education institution presence of Al-Ittihadiyah is very influential in the community, it is shown from the many educational institutions Al-Ittihadiyah ranging from public schools, Madrasah, to the college Scattered throughout the archipelago that has produced many alumni and each of them has been instrumental in the midst of society

The lack of the role of the school committee in education makes it a school partner to improve its management. Because it is clear in Law number 20 of 2003 concerning National Education System article 56 paragraph 3 that the school council approves in improving the quality of assistance by providing, directives and support for labor, facilities and infrastructure, and supervision of education at the education level. This paper is a literature study that uses documents related to schools and education suppliers as sources of data and analyzed using qualitative descriptive. Reconstruction of the management of the committee through improvements to the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the work program of the school committee and education unit. In addition, training and guidance for school committees also requires building good communication and cooperation between the school committee, the government and other parties. That way it is expected to increase the strategic role of schools in improving the quality of education.

Salaf pesantren is an institution that is still strongly bound by old traditions. By inheriting and maintaincontinuity of Islamic tradition developed by scholars from time to time indefinite periodesasinya, has elementswhich include clerics, students, cottage / hostel, mosque, recitals of classical texts / yellow book, applyingthe method bandongan, sorogan, wetonan, principled firmly on Islamic education material. Pesantren Salafurgently need progress in science and technology. Pesantren Salaf there are many who “failed” to preserve itsown leadership weights, weak in preparing a “succession” Kyai guardians comparable with the foregoing, letalone exceeded. Answering the needs of the era, schools Salaf open formal educational institutions. Sensitivitypesantren Salaf against the phenomena that appear in the society is a social concern and reflexive owned evenare characteristic. So that the aspirations of the people making the boarding school received the developmentand advancement of science and technology. The real step taken is establishing formal educational institutionsfrom kindergarten through college. The character of a scholar is asceticism and totality. On the other hand,people still expect the efficacy of the function and role of pesantren Salaf like period once, without knowing thatit is actually what is expected it is experiencing overcast condition and shrinkage. Expenses are given the addedweight and more and more, but the ability to lift a boarding school in general was declining. Source overcastcondition and depreciation mainly boils down to the weight and quality of the “clerics who brought up”. <p><em>Radicalism threatens harmony and unity. We need a holistic deradicalization effort by various elements of the nation. One element that has a strategic role is the Forum for Religious Harmony (FKUB). The study was conducted to reveal the role of FKUB Singkawang City in campaigning for moderation of Islamic education for the community as an effort to prevent radicalism, thus delivering this city as the number one most tolerant city in Indonesia. The method used is a qualitative field (Field Research), researchers go directly to the field to obtain data and information from data sources. Data were collected through direct interviews with the Chairperson of FKUB Singkawang City, FKUB documentation, Social Media and direct observation to the research location. The results showed that FKUB was able to realize moderation of Islamic education outside of educational institutions with dialogue and advocating strategic.</em></p><p>Radikalisme mengancam harmoni dan persatuan. Kita membutuhkan upaya deradikalisasi holistik oleh berbagai elemen bangsa. Salah satu elemen yang memiliki peran strategis adalah Forum Kerukunan Umat Beragama (FKUB). Studi ini dilakukan untuk mengungkap peran FKUB Kota Singkawang dalam mengkampanyekan moderasi pendidikan Islam bagi masyarakat sebagai upaya mencegah radikalisme, sehingga menjadikan kota ini sebagai kota nomor satu yang paling toleran di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah bidang kualitatif (Field Research), peneliti pergi langsung ke lapangan untuk memperoleh data dan informasi dari sumber data. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara langsung dengan Ketua FKUB Kota Singkawang, dokumentasi FKUB, Media Sosial dan observasi langsung ke lokasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa FKUB mampu mewujudkan moderasi pendidikan Islam di luar lembaga pendidikan dengan dialog dan advokasi strategis.</p><p><em><br /></em></p>

The purpose of this study is to understand the behavior of teenagers in accessing cyber media, as well as the efforts of stakeholders to assist them in responding to cyber media. This research is a type of qualitative research. The research data were collected through document study, observation and interview with 15 informants, consisting of educators, parent representatives, community leaders, youth leaders and mass media observers from Denpasar City, Badung Regency, Gianyar Regency and Buleleng Regency. The data analysis was done descriptive-interpretively. The results showed that teenagers were good at utilizing social media applications such as BBM, Facebook, Twitter, WA, Line, and Instagram. They also used email, Wikipedia, Mailing list, Youtube, Weblog, and Blogsite to correspond with their friends and access information. But the information consumed by teenagers from the internet has the potential to affect their consumptive behavior, adopt a shortcut culture, as well as individual behavior that weakens social solidarity. The family, educational institutions, peers, and the government have a strategic role in anticipating the negative impact of internet (cyber media) on teenagers. Efforts of developing education-oriented sites need to be made.

Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) explained that from 2010-2013 Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia has increased. This explains that interest in entrepreneurship in Indonesia still become a trend that gets attention for the people of Indonesia. The government's concern in the field of entrepreneurship is increasingly directed in various business actors, one of them is the young generation. This is in accordance with the government program in 2017 where the launch of Beginner Entrepreneurship (WP). This explains that the opportunity to start a business at a young age is no longer an obstacle in view of the support from the government that participated in encouraging the new WP in Indonesia. Educational institutions can be a training place for entrepreneurship incubation for students. Encouragement through the role of courses in the institution should be able to walk in harmony. Readiness of students is not uncommon to be a barrier to start a business. This study aims to explain whether there is an influence between the factors of encouragement of educational institutions and entrepreneurship courses to entrepreneurial interests for students. By using SPSS and error rates of 5%, this results that both the educational institution and the role of entrepreneurship courses partially affect student entrepreneurship interests. This study has limitation on the use of sample quantities and independent variables that still tend to be within a small range. This research about CSR was conducted at educational institutions, where the purpose of this study was to evaluate CSR activities. It is known that CSR activities are an obligation from the government to companies. This study examined CSR being perceived by the participants, where the perception influences trust and affective identification that will ultimately have an impact on intention. Intention means a reaction to attend the training which one matching with what the participants need. CSR activities do not only aim to fulfil the responsibility, but the company sincerely provides training to improve the quality of community life. The rresearch uses smartPLS 3.0. and a total of 100 respondents. The results of this study showed a significant relationship between perceived CSR to the trust as well as affective identification. Trust and affective identification showed a successful mediator between perceived CSR and intention.
