ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X pada materi pokok Listrik Dinamis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X yang terdiri dari 8 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara cluster random sampling dengan mengambil 2 kelas secara acak yaitu kelas X-5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-6 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar yang telah divalidasi dalam bentuk pilihan berganda sebanyak 20 soal. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen 33,06 dan kelas kontrol 32,78. Kemudian diberikan perlakuan yang berbeda, kelas eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran discovery learning dan kelas kontrol dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan, diperoleh postes dengan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 75,69 dan kelas kontrol 69,86. Hasil uji t dengan taraf signifikasi 0,05 bahwa secara signifikan ada perbedaan akibat pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok Listrik Dinamis di kelas X. Kata kunci : model pembelajaran discovery learning dan hasil belajar siswa.   ABSTRACT This research aimed to know the effect of discovery learning model on students learning outcomes in the subject matter dynamical electricity in class X. The type of research was quasi-experimental. The population were the tenth grade students consisting of 8 classes. The samples collection done by means of cluster of random sampling by taking 2 class at random that is class X-5 as experiment class and class X-6 as control class. The instruments used were test of learning outcomes that have been validated in the form of option as much as 20 questions. The research result obtained average value of experiment pretest class 33,06 and the control class 32,78. Then given different treatment, experiment class with discovery learning and control class with conventional of models. After learning is completed, obtained postest the average value of experiment class 75,69 and control class 69,86. The results of t one party with the level significance in 0,05 obtained there is difference of students’ learning outcomes due to the effect of discovery learning in the subject matter listrik dinamis in class X. ABSTRACT The research aimed to know the influence ofguided inquiry learning model on student’s learning outcomes in topic dynamic electricity in class X semester II SMA N 2 Kisaran A.Y 2014/2015. Beside that, the research also aimed to determine the differences between students learning outcomes by using guided inquiry learning model and conventional learning, and to know the student’s activities as affective and psychomotor. The research used a quasi-experimental method. The population were all students of class X consist of 8 classes. The samples defined by cluster random sampling and conducted in class X-1 as the experiment class and X-2 as the control class. The instruments were used learning outcomes test and the observation sheet.The result showed that the average value of posttest in experiment class is 64.25 higher than in control class is 53. The hypothesis result of posttest in experiment class and control class get >, so Ha can be accepted. The observation result showed student’s activity in experiment class included in active category. Finally, it can be concluded that there is an effect of guided inquiry learning model on student’s learning outcomes in topic dynamic electricity.   Keywords : guided inquiry learning model, student’s learning outcomes, affective, psychomotor

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran kimia dengan pokok bahasan Hakikat Ilmu Kimia, serta untuk mengetahui besar peningkatannya. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Variabel yang digunakan adalah peningkatan hasil belajar mencakup nilai kognitif dan psikomotorik. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan adalah pretes-postes, portofolio, lembar observasi, dan angket kuisioner. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh gambaran siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) nilai kognitif sebesar 97% dengan rata-rata nilai 82, siswa yang mencapai KKM nilai psikomotorik sebanyak 100% dengan rata-rata nilai 91. Terjadi peningkatan keberhasilan guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran PjBL pada siklus I sebesar 88% meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 97%. Peningkatan keaktifan rata-rata siswa pada siklus I sebesar 82%, meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 93%. Ketertarikan rata-rata siswa juga mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I sebesar 84% meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 92%. Hasil observasi penerapan PjBL secara keseluruhan menunjukkan nilai sangat baik yaitu 95. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pokok materi hakikat ilmu kimia.   Project Based Learning to Improve Student Learning Outcome in Chemistry Lessons with the Subject Matter of the Nature of Chemistry Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine whether learning using the Project Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in chemistry lessons with the subject matter of the nature of Chemistry, and to determine the magnitude of the increase. Classroom Action Research is carried out in 2 cycles. The variables used are improvement in learning outcomes including cognitive, and psychomotor values. The instruments used were pretest-posttest, portfolio, observation sheet, and questionnaire questionnaire. Data were analyzed qualitatively descriptive. From the results of the study obtained a picture of students who reached KKM cognitive value as much as 97% with an average value of 82, students who achieved KKM psychomotor value as much as 100% with an average value of 91. There was an increase in the success of teachers in applying the PjBL learning model in the first cycle of 88%, increasing in the second cycle by 97%. The increase in the average activity of students in the first cycle was 82%, increasing in the second cycle by 93%. The average interest of students also increases in the first cycle by 84%, increasing in the second cycle by 92%. Observation of the application of PjBL as a whole shows a very good value of 95. Based on the results of the analysis of the data shows that learning using the Project Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes of the subject matter of the nature of chemistry.

ABSTRACT [Relationship between Groundwater Surface Depth with Salinity at the Coast of New Kungkai Beach and its Implementation on Discovery Learning Model]. The aims of this study were 1) to describe the relationship between groundwater surface depth with salinity in the coastal areas of new kungkai beach of Seluma, and 2) to determine the improvement of learning outcomes (cognitive) of high ability students, moderate and low by using discovery learning model on the concept of static fluid in class X computer and network engineering at SMK Negeri 3 Seluma. This research was a quasi experimental research with one groups pretest-posttest design. The results showed: 1) The relationship between depth with salinity has a value of 0.6478 with a significance level of 0.001 (<0.05); 2) Learning with discovery learning model can improve student learning outcomes on cognitive aspects (knowledge). Increased cognitive results can be seen from the average value of the initial test, the final test and the average value of gain in the class x Tkj is high-ability groups are at high criteria with a value of 0.75 gain in the group is in the criteria medium with the value of gain 0,52 and in the low group were in moderate criteria with a gain value of 0.44. There is a difference in learning outcomes between the high, medium and low groups. The difference is shown by Fcount > Ftable (4.04 > 3.35) with a significance level of 5%. Keywords: Groundwater surface depth; salinity; discovery learning model; SMKN 3 Seluma.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cooperative learning model of group investigation type against scince generic skills of students. This research was a quasi-experimental. The population in the study was a grade VIII MTS Nurul Falah NW Lajut with 36 students. Sampling was derived by random sampling where the 16 students of VIII A as on experimental class and VIII B as a control class with 20 students.Based on pretest data analysis, obtained an average value of 31,25 experimental class and control class was 42,2.Posttest analysis showed an average grade of 65,75 experimental and control class was 61,6.  The data analysis technique was t-test. It show t- test= 5,80 and t-table = 1,67. Because of  t-count is greater than the  t- table, it can be concluded that there were the effect of cooperative learning model of group investigation generic against science skills of student.

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kuis di awal pertemuan pada model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 10 Luwu pada materi pokok larutan penyangga. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest only control design. Sampel diperoleh secara acak dan terpilih kelas XI MIA 3 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dengan jumlah peserta didik 30 orang dan kelas XI MIA 2 sebagai kelompok kontrol dengan jumlah peserta didik 32 orang. Kelompok eksperimen dibelajarkan dengan pemberian kuis di awal pertemuan pada model discovery learning sedangkan kelompok kontrol dibelajarkan dengan model discovery learning tanpa pemberian kuis di awal pertemuan. Data hasil belajar dilakukan dengan pemberian tes hasil belajar. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan nilai rata-rata posttest peserta didik kelompok eksperimen yaitu 81,33 dan nilai rata-rata posttest peserta didik kelompok kontrol yaitu 74,87. Hasil analisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan bahwa data terdistribusi normal dan homogen. Pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan uji parametrik dengan menggunakan uji-t menghasilkan hasil belajar thitung > ttabel = 2,45 > 1,67 pada α= 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian kuis di awal pertemuan pada model discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 10 Luwu pada materi pokok larutan penyangga. Kata kunci: Pemberian kuis, Model discovery learning, Hasil belajar ABSTRACT This research is a Quasi-experimental that aims to know the effect of giving quizzes at the beginning of the meeting on the discovery learning model to the study result of the students of class XI MIA in SMA 10 Luwu on the subject matter of the buffer solution. The research design used was the posttest only control design. The sample is taken randomly so the XI MIA 3 is chosen as the experiment group with 30 students and XI MIA 2 as the control group with 32 students. The experiment group is taught by using quizzes at the beginning of the meeting in the discovery learning model meanwhile the control group is using the Discovery Learning Model without giving quizzes at the beginning of the meeting. Data result is collected by giving posttest. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis showed that the average study result of the experimental group student was 81.33 and the control group students was 74.87. The results of inferential statistical analysis show that the data is normally distributed and homogeneously. The hypothesis trial by using the parametric test t-test results thitung > ttabel = 2.45 > 1.67 in α = 0.05. So, it can be concluded that giving quizzes at the beginning of the meeting in the discovery learning model influencing the study result of class XI MIA students in SMA Negeri 10 Luwu on the subject matter of the buffer solution. This study aims to determine the skills approach to the learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of heat in class X at SMA Negeri 1 Seunuddon Aceh Utara. This research is a form of experiment. The population in this study were all second semester class X at SMA Negeri 1 Seunuddon Aceh Utara T.P.2013/2014 consisting of two classes of 60 people. The sample of this study is the total sample is X-1 (class experiment) is taught with the skills approach, and X-2 (control group) were taught using the conventional approach amounted to 30 0rang. Research instrument is the achievement  test in the form of 20 multiple-choice questions that consists of 5 options first tested on students outside of the sample, to determine the validity, reliability, distinguishing features, and level of difficulty of the test. From the results of this study showed the average value of the experimental class pretest was 41.66 and 38.66 the control class is through testing prior knowledge obtained t <t table (1.511 <2.002) These results indicate that the ability of the two classesare the same initial. Then given a different treatment. Experimental class withthe skills approach and control classes with conventional approaches. Aftertreatment carried posttest with an average yield of 73.00 experimental class and control class 60.66. From the results of the t test obtained t> t table (4.224>1.671) with α = 0.05 df = 58, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the process skills approach to student learning outcomes in the subject matter of heat in class X at SMA Negeri 1 Seunuddon Aceh UtaraT.P.2013/2014.

ABSTRACT[Implementation of Discovery Learning Model on Electromagnetic Wave Application Material of Various Palm Oil Impurity Analysis With Spectrophotometry UV-Vis].The aims of this study was to describe the differences between the learning outcomes of students who learn to use the learning model of Discovery Learning with students studying physics learning conventionally onwaves electromagnetic material.  The method used quasi experimental research with Pretest-Posttest Control GroupDesign research conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau. Sample research used 2 classes i.e. class X.3 as a experimental class and class X.2 as a control class. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that there was a difference between learning outcomes of students who learn to use the learning model of Discovery Learningwith students studying in conventional method. The data views from the average final value obtained after being given the treatment. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning (DL) dengan siswa yang belajar secara konvensional. Data tersebut dilihat dari nilai rata-rata akhir yang diperoleh setelah diberi perlakuan. ABSTRACT Aims of study to determine the effect of cooperative learning model of NHT type to learning outcomes of students in  subject matter  optical geometry in high school N 2 Lintongnihuta A.Y. 2014/2015.Kind of this research is quasi experimental. The population in this research were all students of class X Semester II SMA N 2 Lintongnihuta which consists of two classes. Sampling was done by purposive research by using two existing classes, namely class X Mia 2 were 26students as experimental class and the class X Mia 1 amounted to 30 students as the control class. The instrument used is a cognitive test in the form of multiple choice question number 20 and observation sheet of student’s activity. Experimental class was given treatment by cooperative learning model of  NHT type and grade control with conventional learning. Before being given different treatment performed pretest, which is the average value of the experimental class pretest 48.65 with a standard deviation  11.45 and the average value of the control class pretest 48.67 with a standard deviation 14.07. Second class pretest data testing showed that both classes of data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The test results obtained pretest tcount<ttable (0.0057 <2,14) then H0 is received, it means the ability of students' initial experimental class and control class alike. Then given treatment that is experimental class with cooperative learning model of NHT type and grade control with conventional learning models. During thelearning processinthe experimental classlearning activities of studentsincreased, the meetingI59.79%, 72.07%meetingIIandIIImeeting of75.30%.After the study was completed, given postest with an average 66.53 for experimental class with a standard deviation 11.64 and 48.66 with the control class standard deviation 14.07. On testing normality and homogeneity of data obtained postest that both classes of data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The data processing postest obtained that tcount= 5.1 and ttable = 2.14, so that t count > t table (5.1> 2.14) then Hareceived means there is influence of cooperative learning model of NHT type to students learning outcomes  in optic geometry material to X class SMA N 2 Lintongnihuta A.Y. 2014/2015. The purpose of this study is to determine differences in learning outcomes of 4th grade students in Mathematics in SD Gugus Patimura using Problem-based Learning and Discovery Learning model. This is a quasi experimental research. The instrument of data collection was test items, previously tested of its validity and reliability. The result of hypothesis test using ANCOVA test showed the result of significance / probability 0,00 <0,05, meaning H0 was refused and Ha was accepted. It means that Problem-based Learning has significantly higher impact than Discovery Learning model. The conclusion is supported by the average value of the learning outcomes using Problem-based Learning model which was 80.24, while the one using Discovery Learnings model only reached 71,87. Based on the conclusions of this study, it is recommended that the elementary school teachers use the model of learning Problem Based Learning.

The research conducted was classroom action research to improve the learning outcomes of students of class XI MIPA 6 Senior High School 2 Palembang. Improved learning outcomes are carried out by using the discovery learning model during the learning process. As for this research, using a subject consisting of 35 students. The subject used by researchers in this study is the formula of the sum and difference of sine, cosine, and tangent of two angles. In the first cycle consisted of 3 meetings and Cycle II consisted of 2 meetings. This study uses instruments in the form of test results of learning and observation. Tests of learning outcomes are used by researchers as a way to find out the achievements of students from each cycle and observations are used by researchers to collect data during the learning process takes place. Quantitative and descriptive data analysis was used in this study. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the average value of students of class XI MIPA 6 on the first cycle test was 63.00 and increased on the second cycle test to 83.69. The results of this study indicate that learning using the discovery learning model can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes, i.e. 74.28%  of students have achieved indicators of success in the second cycle of research.
