The construction of rail infrastructure project is expanding in Malaysia to enhance and integrate the urban public transportation services. This transportation service is one of the National Key Result Areas (NK.RA) which is a priority under the Government Transformation Program (ETP ). Fatalities, serious injuries and damage to properties occur every year due to rapid construction of this project. Numerous studies have attempted to explain the various losses that could be incurred by companies after the occurrence of an accident. These losses are difficult to isolate, identify and evaluate. Models to analyze and calculate the costs of prevention in the construction industry are limited to apply in this area because they are based on studies carried out in the manufacturing sector. Furthermore, the traditional models for analysing these costs are limited to identifying and classifying them. Therefore, the objectives of this paper are to investigate the overall view of safety and health cost model approaches globally (i.e. UK, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia) and to identify the direction of safety and health cost framework to be practiced in Malaysia.

Background: In a number of countries, buses are a critical element of public transportation, providing the most inclusive and sustainable mode of transportation to all forms of citizenry, including staff and students of universities.Objectives: The study examines the determinants of satisfaction with campus bus transportation. The article is primarily discursive and based on the synthesis of existing service literature supported by data obtained from a survey of 847 respondents.Method: Structural equation modelling is undertaken using AMOS 19, allowing for the examination of compound relationships between service engagement variables.Results: Results show statistically significant differences between perceived service quality and travel routes. The authors argue that managerial attention to service user experiences does not only hold the key to ongoing competitive success in campus transportation services but also that those services can be significantly enriched through greater managerial attention to the interface between risk of financial loss (which increases when the campus bus transportation service provider becomes less able to compete) and service quality.Conclusion: The authors argue that if providers of campus bus transportation services are to rise to their service delivery challenges and also maintain or improve upon their market positions, they must conceptualise their services in a manner that takes into consideration the two-way interrelationship between risk of financial loss and service quality. It must also be noted that, although this study may have relevance for firm–firm scenarios, its focus is primarily on service supplier firm–customer service engagements.Keywords: Modelling; Transportation; Service

This paper presents the findings of a preliminary survey, which is consist of the identification of issues and importance of safety and health cost allocation. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with seven (7) construction stakeholders who are involved in urban rail infrastructure project. The transcription and interpretation from the interview findings were carried out using Atlas.ti© qualitative software. Due to the rapid increase in population and the change in age structure toward the elderly, the phenomenon of societal ageing is being witnessed in many countries. The elderly travel less than the adult population due to decreasing mobility with an increasing age. In this study, we aimed to analyze the expectations and satisfaction of public transport users in Thailand using traditional importance performance analysis (IPA), gap analysis, and IPA integrated with competitor performance. We aimed to explain the differences in the analysis results produced by the three methods. The data were obtained from surveying 2250 elderly and 450 non-elderly adults. This study presents guidelines for improving the public transport service quality in Thailand to meet user needs. The results of this research showed that each approach provides its own distinctive aspects and theoretical differences, which lead to different interpretations. The results from the three approaches showed that equipment that increases safety for public transportation service users is an important factor for all elderly passengers that must be improved. Public transportation services in different regions should be developed to provide more reliable and regular services.

ABSTRAKJumlah pengunjung di wisata Sunan Giri sejak tahun 2017 hingga 2019 mengalami peningkatan, sehingga membuat pendapatan rata-rata harian yang diperoleh pengemudi dokar cukup tinggi yaitu kurang lebih 400.000 rupiah di hari kerja, sedangkan di akhir minggu atau musim libur bisa mencapai dua kali lipatnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keadilan sosial dan kesejahteraan anggotan paguyuban di wisata religi Sunan Giri berdasarkan prinsip ashabiyah melalui circle of equity Ibnu Khaldun. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dalam menganalisis permasalahan. Wawancara dilakukan kepada lima anggota paguyuban di wisata Sunan Giri, yang terdiri dari kusir dokar, wakil ketua paguyuban, dan informan kunci. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa tingkat keadilan sosial dan kesejahteraan paguyuban wisata Sunan Giri menurut teori Ibnu Khaldun melalui ashabiyah dan circle of equity yang masih rendah. Hasil penelitian diperkuat diperkuat dengan penambahan analisis penelitian melalui triangulasi dengan teori Al Ghazali.                Keywords: Kesejahteraan Islam, Ibnu Khaldun, Circle of Equity, Ashabiyah ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to find out how the welfare of traditional public transportation service providers in the Sunan Giri religious tourism area in the perspective of Ibn Khaldun. The approach used in this study uses a qualitative approach. This type of research is a case study method. The results showed that Ibn Khaldun's thought in the Circle of Equity theory of a person's level of welfare could be measured through Sharia values, so that when the providers of doctoral services in the Sunan Ampel religious tourism area performed obligatory prayers at the mosque and performed alms. Ashabiyah badawah-based economies are also applied in this community, because people tend to have a goal to save for the future in the hope of providing something more for their offspring later. The value of their wealth has not been able to share their wealth with fellow believers because it is only enough for themselves and is still classified as a prosperous family in stage III. in fact the circle of equity theory experienced a setback which increasingly troubled and kept the community from the word prosperous because the government did not want to be involved in the process of welfare for its people.Keywords: Islamic Welfare, Ibnu KHaldun, Circle of Equity, Ashabiyah

Nowadays, the mobility of people who travel to a place through road transportation is increasing, either private vehicle or public transportation services. By the high intensity of use the road transportation, especially the road transportation service in Semarang, in this cases are bus and travel, it makes the transportation service users often confused in determining transportation agency to be used, especially if user is in hurry. Therefore, transportation user need a mobile application that can provide bus or travel transportation agency locator services which nearby user location and provide destination route which is expected. The Bus and Travel agency – Based Applications Mobile Locator Using Dijkstra Method is the ultimate solution in the search of bus and travel agency in Semarang. The purpose of development this application is developing a search guidance system of bus and travel agency location which nearby user location that can provide an efficient route and save the time. The Bus and Travel agency – Based Applications Mobile Locator is implemented using ionic framework that runs on Android. Sqlite as the media storage of this, allows user to perform agency data management. In Addition, it is supported by the relevance of agency data which is obtained from Department of Transportation, Communication, and Information Central of Java and transportation magazine site. The use of Google Maps API supports search location using Dijkstra Method in search of bus and travel agency, that expected to facilitate the users find travel or bus agency as expected, and its information that’s already available.

The Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) System is set to be one of the mega projects in Malaysia. Many of the researches have focused on the causes of construction accident occurrences at the site. Whilst, this study focuses on the consequences (i.e., costs) of the occurrences of the accidents for the project. The work injuries create economic issues for our society. The awareness of accident costs is absent because the stakeholders always leave the matters to the insurance company. They are ignorant of the cost of an accident without realising the greatness of its impacts on the industry and the country. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between accident costs and the factors influencing the accident costs of urban rail infrastructure projects to the Employer. All these factors are known as safety and health cost dimensions. For this research, the Employer, also known as a Contractor, is the person who bears the accident costs (direct and indirect costs) of the project. Multiple regression performed on the sixty-two (62) accident cases from the MRT 1 SBK (Sungai Buloh-Kajang) Line Projects. These findings could heighten the importance of the effect of an accident on the Employer’s company’s economics and budgeting.

The increasing need for transportation has prompted the government to provide public transportation to increase mobility and reduce the number of private vehicles. The Department of Transportation of Central Java Province has developed the Trans Jateng BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) mass transportation in the Barlingmascakeb area through activities to improve the Trans Jateng agglomeration transportation service. The BRT that has been operated in the Banyumas area is Corridor 1 on the Purwokerto-Purbalingga route. This study aimed to analyze the characteristics of travel behavior and passengers' willingness to walk. The sampling of the research was random sampling using a questionnaire as the main data collection tool. The results of the discussion of travel behavior in terms of the purpose of the trip were dominated by recreation/shopping and education. The majority of BRT users used public transportation as the mode used before switching to BRT, the connecting mode from home to shelter is dominated by feeders, while from destination to shelter is dominated by walking. The connection distance from the house and from the destination to the shelter is >400 meters. Thus, the majority of respondents came from a buffer range of 0-400 meters. Based on willingness to walk, some respondents walk up to a radius of >400 meters. It is necessary to add more shelter points if the distance between stopping points does not meet the standards and provide better shelter access, especially by walking or using other integrated public transportation.

Accessibility to tourist destinations is an important component in a tourism system, especially for natural tourist destinations located in suburban areas. Good linkage of travel information and physical connections with local transportation services for intercity travel can facilitate more people to travel and promote national tourism destinations. This research takes the popular national tourism destinations and their public transportation service in Taiwan as a research object due to the unavailability of integrated public transport information service. Free Independent Travelers (FIT) demand is growing. This research aims to integrate intermodal public transportation information to support FIT by proposing a seamless way journey planner. In this scenario, the journey planner requires timetable data as input. The Connection Scan Algorithm is used to find the earliest arrival time routes at their destinations. This journey planner is built in PHP language and can complement the official tourism travel information website by Tourism Bureau, MOTC. Hence, the FIT could get the quickest routes to reach the destinations without compiling the public transportation information provided independently.

Jakarta is increasingly improving its public transportation services. At present, a breakthrough in the development of transportation has been made, especially related to the protocol road. These include expanding Transjakarta routes, Mass Rapid Transit, and Light Rail Transit. The addition of the number of modes of transportation has an impact on the addition of the number of stations or stops. However, it does not match by the availability of the government in procuring land for connecting transportation modes into deeper areas. The formal and informal transportation providers as an introduction to integrated transportation users still use the highway corridor as their place to raise, lower, and wait for passengers. Not yet found a place to raise, lower, and wait for those around the top of the officially integrated mode of transportation from the government or service providers. Therefore, this study was conducted to see how the division of land used by providers of the integrated transportation mode connector. This research method is to observe the spread of land use providers of formal and informal transportation services.
