This study aimed to test the effectiveness of realistic mathematics education models assisted by the dakon media on learning outcomes of multiplication operations of 3rd grade elementary school of Cluster Srikandi Gunungpati Semarang. This type of research is a quasi experimental design with a form of nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of 3rd grade from 8 SDN Srikandi Cluster. Sampling used cluster sampling techniques or area sampling. The determined samples were the third grade students of Pongangan Elementary School as an experimental class and third grade students of Cepoko Elementary School as a control class. Data collection techniques used test and nontest. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes of the experimental class by 32.03 and the control class by 21.5. Hypothesis test results showed the value of t-count (3.57)> t-table (1.67) so that the average learning outcomes of the experimental class multiplication operations is higher than the average learning outcomes of the control class multiplication operations. Furthermore, the n-gain of the experimental class was 0.7003 with high criteria and the n-gain value of the control class was 0.4205 with moderate criteria. Based on these results, it could be concluded that the realistic mathematics education model assisted by the media of dakon was more effective than the conventional model of learning outcomes of multiplication operations of 3rd grade students at elementary school of Cluster Srikandi Gunungpati Semarang.

This study aims to determine the differences and increase in mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students of Pekanbaru Pekanbaru Elementary School between before (pretest) and after (posttest) applying the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education Approach (PMRI). The research method used was an experiment with the research design of one group pretest-posttest. This research was conducted in class III of SD Negeri 144 Pekanbaru in the odd semester of the 2018/2019 academic year on material money math subjects. The research subjects were class III students, amounting to 21 people. Data on mathematics learning outcomes were collected using a test technique in the form of a multiple-choice objective test. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there are differences and improvements in mathematics learning outcomes of Grade III students of Pekanbaru Pekanbaru Elementary School between before (pretest) and after (posttest) applying the PMRI approach. This is proven based on the results of the data analysis obtained in the study. This difference is based on the results of the t-test. Obtained t-count fulfills the criteria of t count> t table or 4.5881> 2.0423. with the average N Gain of 0.38 included in the medium category. This shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning there are differences and improvements in student learning outcomes. Based on the evidence it can be concluded that implementing Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) has a positive influence on the results of mathematics learning for third-grade students of Pekanbaru Elementary School 144.

The process of teaching and learning mathematics in elementary schools is generally presented in an abstract form, learning is dominated by lectures, exercises, and question and answer methods so that students become passive and find it difficult to understand the material. This study aims to determine the level of activity and student learning outcomes in mathematics class VA students of SDN 2 Kotagajah. So that mathematics learning activities can be felt meaningful and produce activity and learning outcomes as well as learning objectives to be achieved properly is to apply the approach of realistic mathematics education (RME). Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) is an approach that emphasizes the conceptualization of teaching and has a tendency for students to become active participants in the teaching and learning process. This research is a classroom action research with data analysis in the form of qualitative and quantitative analysis using test data collection tools, observation, and documentation. This study concludes that there is a relationship between student activity and learning outcomes and the use of successful methods to achieve the desired targets. The average percentage of student activity in the first cycle was 67% and remembering as much as 11% and in the second cycle was 78%. The percentage of completeness of learning outcomes reached 52% and 76% in cycle II. So, there was an increase in learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II, which was 24%.

The purpose of this study is no other to know the extent to which the RME approach can improve the mathematical communication skills of students MTS Negeri 2 Purwakarta. The method used is quasi experiment with pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The 5th grade students of MTsN 2 Purwakarta, which were 5 classes, were used as the population for this study while the research samples were class VIIA as the experimental class and VIIE as the control class. Determination of the sample is taken by the researcher accepting the state of the subject as it is after being grouped not randomly purely to be subjected to the treatment of mathematics learning through Realistic Mathematics Education approach and conventional approach. Instrument of research in the form of test instrument of mathematical communication ability. The results show that the improvement of students' mathematical communication ability using RME approach is better than using the usual approach.b

This research aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the application of learning using social arithmetic teaching books with Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach based on Open-Ended problem. The research design used in this research is Research and Development (R and D) with Plomp model. Subjects in this study were students of Class VIII SMP Islam Terpadu Askhabul Kahfi 2017 / 2018. implementation design using Posttest Only Control-Group Design. The analysis used in the form of analysis of expert validation results and effectiveness test. Post test results on the class performed by the action are compared to the non-action class and to ensure it is done by (1) Complete Test, (2) Different Test, and (3) Simple Linear Regression Test. Based on the results of research and discussion, obtained the conclusion that (1) Arithmetic learning devices with RME approach developed valid is used based on the expert expert judgment. And according to the results of small and large class test, and (2) Arithmetic learning tools with RME approach developed effectively. This is indicated by (a) the average value of evaluation of classroom communication skills using 73, 42 (μ> 70) and 76,6% (π> 75%) classical completeness; (b) the average rate of classes using the application of mathematics learning tools with RME approach based on open-ended problem (73,42) is greater than the class that does not use the application of mathematics learning tool with RME approach based on open-ended problem (64,57) and (c) from the regression test obtained tcount = 2.012, tcount (2.012)> ttable (1.99834).
