This study aims to develop intertextual-based learning strategies using visualization models to improve students' spatial abilities on molecular geometry concepts. In this study using the method of Research and Development (RD). The research subjects used were 20 high school 10th grade students. In this study the instrument used was in the form of an intertextual-based learning strategy validation sheet with visualization models, 3D visualization software, and spatial ability tests. Spatial ability consists of three indicators to be evaluated, namely spatial relations, spatial orientation, and spatial visualization. The results of intertextual-based learning strategy research with developed visualization models can improve spatial ability. Students can understand molecular geometry from the concept of VSEPR theory and valence bond theory. Results pre-test student on the spatial relations (26.67%), spatial orientation (10.10%), and spatial visualization (7.41%). After being tested intertextual-based learning strategies with visualization models of students' post-test results on the spatial relations (58.33%), spatial orientation (50.00%), and spatial visualization (27.78%).

<p>Jaring-jaring dapat membantu siswa membuat konsep hubungan antara objek dua dimensi dan tiga dimensi. Namun masih ada ketidakakuratan dalam menyusun jaring-jaring yang disebabkan oleh kemampuan spasial yang lemah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan kemampuan spasial siswa dalam membangun jaring-jaring kubus dan balok. Subjek penelitian adalah empat puluh siswa Sekolah Dasar kelas lima. Dari empat puluh siswa dipilih dua siswa untk diwawancara lebih mendalam terkait penyelesaian tugas jaring-jaring kubus dan balok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam menyelesaikan tugas penyusunan jaring-jaring kubus dan balok, subjek menunjukkan kelemahan dalam kemampuan orientasi spasial dan visualisasi spasial. Kelemahan pada orientasi spasial terlihat pada kemampuan subjek untuk melihat objek dari sudut pandang tertentu yaitu dalam mengenali dua jaring-jaring yang kongruen tetapi dianggap tidak kongruen. Sedangkan kelemahan visualisasi spasial nampak pada saat subjek yang tidak dapat membayangkan bahwa jaring-jaring dapat dilipat menjadi kubus dan balok.</p><p> </p><p>Nets can help students conceptualize the relationship between two-dimensional and three-dimensional objects. But there are still inaccuracies in composing the webs caused by weak spatial ability. The purpose of this study is to describe the spatial ability of students in constructing cube and beam webs. The research subjects were forty-fifth-grade elementary school students. Of the forty students, two students were chosen to be interviewed more deeply related to the completion of the task of the cube nets and the beam. The results showed that in completing the task of arranging cube and beam nets, the subject showed weaknesses in the ability of spatial orientation and spatial visualization. Weaknesses in spatial orientation are seen in the subject's ability to see objects from a certain point of view, namely in recognizing two nets that are congruent but considered incongruent while the weaknesses of spatial visualization are seen when subjects cannot imagine that the webs can be folded into cubes and blocks.</p>

Spatial ability is an important one of the abilities for completing many tasks in everyday life successfully. Spatial ability is considered a type of different ability to others. Therefore, there needs a study on how are the characteristics of spatial abilities and to develop in schools. This paper is to reveal the ways are developing spatial abilities in learning mathematics. Based on literature review from some research, at least that there are six ways to develop spatial abilities in learning mathematics, namely: (1) using spatial language in daily interactions; (2) teaching for sketching and drawing; (3) using a suitable game; (4) using a tangram; (5) using video games; and (6) origami and folding paper. Playing video games like Tetris are exercises for spatial relations, mental rotation, spatial orientation, and spatial visualization.

The purpose of this study is 1) Describe the ideal and feasible model of the allocation of an entrepreneurship education curriculum for learners at a course institution. 2) Describe an ideal and feasible model of an entrepreneurship education learning strategy for learners in a course institution. Qualitative research is also called naturalistic research. Subjects in this study are students and alumi in course programs organized by LKP Kresna Informatika such as English courses courses, computer and office accounting. Data collection techniques in the context of this study have a significant role considering the quality of various types of data obtained at each stage of module development. Observation and documentation, interviews and tests are the data collection techniques used in this research before it will be analyzed. Stages of data analysis pursued after the need for data both secondary and primary when it has been fulfilled which includes; (1) data reduction, (2) display data, and (3) conclusion drawing/verification. The results in the study conclude that to establish entrepreneurial attitude in the courses and training programs conducted by LKP Kresna Informatika include; 1) The prerequisite of one's attitude input and one's entrepreneurial nature in LKP Kresna Informatika includes; discipline, high commitment, honest, reative and Innovative. 2) Design learning strategies in growing and developing entrepreneurship skills of learners in LKP Kresna Informatika through a special approach that is called 4 in 1 or with four stages. 3) Implementation of learning strategies in growing and developing entrepreneurship skills of learners in LKP Kresna Informatika; Identification of Business Opportunities, entrepreneurship learning based on the development of attitudes, knowledge and entrepreneurship skills, Evaluation of Learning Outcomes and Business Assistance and Pioneering.

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan Strategi Joyful Learning. Strategi joyful learning membantu guru untuk lebih kreatif dalam proses belajar mengajar dan dapat meningkatakan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian   ini  adalah  Penelitian  Tindakan Kelas  (PTK) yang  dilakukan  secara  kolaboratif. Subjek  penelitian   adalah  peserta  didik kelas VII B  berjumlah  22  orang, 5 putri dan 17 putra. Penerapan strategi joyful learning menunjukkan peningkatan pada hasil belajar. Siklus I meningkat menjadi 21 siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 95. Pada siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata IPG 73% dengan kategori baik, IRS 88 % dengan kategori sangat baik, dan IKL 80% dengan kategori baik. This study aims to improve learning outcomes by using the Joyful Learning Strategy. Joyful learning strategies help teachers to be more creative in the teaching and learning process and can improve student learning outcomes. The design of this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is conducted collaboratively. The research subjects were 22 students of class VII B, 5 girls and 17 boys. The application of joyful learning strategies shows an increase in learning outcomes. The first cycle increased to 21 students who achieved completeness with an average grade of 95. In the first cycle, the IPG average score was 73% in the good category, 88% IRS in the very good category, and 80% IKL in the good category.

This study aimed to determine the Early Childhood Learning Strategy in the Development of Children's Independence in Edelweis Kindergarten, Jambi City. This research is based on the presence of children who are not yet independent in terms of the bathroom, children are still accompanied by parents in institutions until they return from school, children have not mingled with their peers. This research uses qualitative research techniques. The subjects of this study were children of group B Edelweis Kindergarten Jambi City. As for the research subjects, all stakeholders of Edelweis Kindergarten Jambi City include the principal, teachers, and students. And the informant is the Edelweis Kindergarten Teacher in Jambi City. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation, and interviews. The instrument used in the observation was in the form of research sheets, for documentation using photos to document all children's activities during activities and interviews using interview guidelines with Group B teachers to find out the conditions and problems faced. The results of this study are 1. Early childhood learning strategies in the development of children's independence in Edelweis Kindergarten Jambi City using three steps, namely a). Planning b). Implementation and c) Evaluation. 2. Constraints faced in the application of PAUD learning in the development of children's independence in Edelweis Kindergarten, Jambi City are a) Lack of supporting infrastructure in online learning activities, b), lack of parental knowledge in caring for children's growth and development, and c) Lack of parental support for children's independence so that they will not feel confident in carrying out activities. 3. The results obtained from the implementation of the Strategy, PAUD learning in the development of children's independence is the application of early childhood learning strategies in developing children's independence in Edelweis Kindergarten, Jambi City, running well in accordance with the learning objectives that have been compiled together with the parents of students, even in the middle. In the middle of a semester the learning activities turned into an online system because during the pandemic, there was Covid 19.

This study examined the effect of 1) learning strategy [project-based learning (PjBL) and problem-based learning (PBL)] on the ability of seaweed product diversification; 2) 21st-century learning skills [critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity (4Cs)] on the ability of seaweed product diversification; and 3) the interaction between PjBL, PBL and 4Cs on the ability of seaweed product diversification. This study was a quasi-experiment with a 2 × 4 factorial design, namely two learning strategies (PjBL and PBL) × four types of 21st-century learning skills. The research subjects were college students of a public university (n = 70). Data were analysed using the two-way analysis of variance. The results indicated that (1) there were significant differences in students’ ability to diversify seaweed between groups which were taught with PjBL and the one with PBL, (2) there were differences in the ability of students’ to diversify seaweed between the ones in the groups with different 21st-century learning skills and (3) there was an interaction between learning strategies and 21st-century learning skills towards the ability to diversify seaweed products. This study indicates that the implementation of PjBL brings a better effect compared to the implementation of PBL in fostering 21st-century learning skill.   Keywords: Project-based learning; problem-based learning; 21st-century learning skills.

This chapter elaborates on the research the authors engaged in for improving young learners learning competence and effectiveness. This research investigates learning styles and learning strategies, based on which comes up with principles, contents and activities for the design and development of a Web-Facilitated Learning Strategy Guidance System (WFLSGS). A Quisi-Experiment is designed to test the function and implementation of WFLSGS and 3 distinctive findings comes out from the experiment: the research subjects’ learning strategy level is generally low, thus learning strategies guidance is needed for improving learners learning effectiveness; the learning strategy guidance based on learning styles is effective for improving learning strategies, especially cognitive strategies and meta-cognitive strategies; the application of learning strategies is influenced by many factors such as teaching environment, learning content and learner self and so on. By designing and developing learning strategy guidance system, this study enriches the research of learning strategy and provides the teachers and young learners with operational advices and approaches to imporoving individualized learning competence and effectiveness.

This research was conducted at MTsN 2 Bireuen, Central Aceh Regency, Aceh Province. In this study, the research subjects were selected by conducting random sampling by means of a lottery (Syahrum, 2009), first preparing as many pieces of paper as there were, then the pieces of paper were put into a box and taken at random, one of the papers was taken as the research sample. The paper taken is for Class VII-2 Semester 2 which contains 22 people. The object of this research is the application of jigsaw learning strategies to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes on the subject of quadrilaterals and triangles. The model in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which uses Kemmis and Mc's CAR model. Taggart. This research has stages in the form of a cycle. The results of the study of the jigsaw learning strategy in mathematics subjects Class VII-2 MTsN 2 Bireuen can be said that the increase in student learning outcomes. This increase can be seen from the average value of the class has increased. This can be shown from the results of the evaluation that has been carried out to increase student learning outcomes which were originally the average value of 57.73 before the action and the first cycle increased to 69.09. While in the second cycle the increase in learning outcomes to 79.77. This shows that 86.36% of students are successful in learning mathematics by using jigsaw learning strategies.

Salah satu penyebab kesulitan siswa dalam memahami nilai materi dan nilai perbandingan ternyata adalah penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang kurang tepat. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk membantu siswa mencapai pemahaman materi ajar. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan peningkatan pemahaman konseptual tentang materi perbandingan melalui pembelajaran kooperartif tipe STAD berbasis kontekstual. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan secara kolaboratif. Penelitian Tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dengan tiga siklus  dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VII sejumlah 29 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik yang ditandai dengan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik di atas KKM 8,0, dan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh yaitu 83,31 dengan ketuntasan belajar 93,10%. Respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual adalah positif artinya siswa dengan mudah memahami materi ajar.One of the reasons for the difficulty of students in understanding the value of the material and the value of comparison is the improper application of learning strategies. Therefore, an effective learning strategy is needed to help students achieve understanding of the teaching material. The purpose of this study is to describe an increase in conceptual understanding of comparative material through contextual-based STAD cooperative learning. This type of research is classroom action research conducted collaboratively. This classroom action research was conducted in three cycles with the research subjects of class VII students totaling 29 students. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes which was marked by an average student learning outcomes above the KKM 8.0, and the average value obtained was 83.31 with 93.10% learning completeness. Student responses to contextual-based learning are positive, meaning that students easily understand the teaching material.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan spasial matematis siswa yang ditinjau berdasarkan perbedaan gender pada pelajaran matematika Pokok Bahasan Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar kelas VIII. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Praya. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 4 orang siswa dari 27 siswa kelas VIII dengan ketentuan 2 subjek bergender laki-laki dan 2 subjek bergender perempuan yang memiliki kemampuan spasial matematis tertinggi dari semua siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan spasial matematis dan wawancara. Teknis analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kemampuan spasial visualization subjek laki-laki dan subjek perempuan memiliki kemampuan yang sama ditunjukkan dari kemampuan dalam menentukan komposisi suatu objek setelah dimanipulasi posisi dan bentuknya. Sedangkan dalam menyelesakan masalah yang terkait dengan spatial orientation dan spatial relation subjek laki-laki lebih dominan menggunakan kemampuan spasialnya dibandingkan subjek perempuan.Kata Kunci: Gender, Kemampuan Spasial Matematis ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the students' mathematical spatial abilities based on gender differences in the VIII grade Mathematics subject. The population in this study were eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Praya. The subjects of this study were 4 students from 27 students of class VIII with the provisions of 2 male gender subjects and 2 female gender subjects who had the highest mathematical spatial ability of all students. The instruments used in this study were tests of mathematical spatial abilities and interviews. Technical data analysis is done by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results showed that the spatial visualization ability of male subjects and female subjects had the same ability as indicated by the ability to determine the composition of an object after being manipulated in its position and shape. Meanwhile, in solving problems related to spatial orientation and spatial relations, male subjects are more dominant in using their spatial abilities than female subjects.KeywordsGender, Mathematical Spatial Ability
