Classroom management problems must be addressed with management corrective action, whereas teaching problems must be addressed with instructional corrective action. The teacher's actions can be in the form of preventive measures, namely by providing both physical and socio-emotional conditions so that students feel right with a sense of comfort and safety to learn. Other actions can be in the form of corrective action against the deviant behavior of students and damage the optimal conditions for the ongoing teaching and learning process. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of classroom management teaching skills by teachers in the teaching process at SD Negeri 34 Banda Aceh. The approach used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects were 8 classroom teachers with permanent teacher status. Data collection techniques used observation and interview techniques. After the data collected is analyzed using data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of classroom management teaching skills carried out by teachers at SD Negeri 34 Banda Aceh has been carried out effectively and efficiently in the learning process in the classroom. A total of 6 teachers have implemented classroom management in the learning process in an optimal, effective and efficient manner, the creation of learning conditions in the classroom is very conducive and comfortable, learning time is in accordance with the plan, the distribution of attention carried out by the teacher visually and verbally is maximized, able to focus The attention of students to learn individually and in groups and provide reinforcement to students, can arrange class layout and maintain class cleanliness and comfort by adjusting class conditions so that students are comfortable in learning and can create a conducive learning climate. Meanwhile, the other 2 teachers are still not able to carry out the teaching skills to manage the class properly, which is related to the time and the creation of learning conditions in the classroom which are not conducive and comfortable, the distribution of attention made by the teacher visually and verbally is not optimal, and cannot maintain class conditions orderly.

 For the decades, managing classroom becomes one of the most important topics as the concern to be developed by educational department in improving students' quality. One of them is preparing pre-service teachers by strengthening their teaching skills such as managing classroom. Therefore, this study aims to investigate pre-service teacher's classroom management and its problem faced, where observation checklist is used by other participants in reviewing forty respondents’ teaching performance. Meanwhile in supporting the second purpose; Interview is used to delve more the problem faced by pre-service teacher while managing classroom. The results reveal that the skill which is still not optimal related to the creation and maintenance of optimal learning conditions is the skill that shows response attitude because of nervous and tend to focus to the certain group or students considered comfortable. Meanwhile, skills related to the control of optimal learning conditions that is still not done optimally by the participants, namely finding and overcoming behavior that poses problems with the way of exile caused by frightened by pre-service teachers against increasingly poor or rebellious student responses. However, referring to overall indicator of classroom management skills, pre-service teacher could be categorized as having done a grade managing skills well.

This research is motivated by the existence of learning practices that lead to gender responsive learning in Bhayangkari Ruteng Kindergarten. The research objectives are (1) to know the description of gender responsive learning practiced by schools, (2) Comparing whether what is practiced by schools is in accordance with gender responsive learning indicators or not. (3) knowing the gender responsive learning model developed by Bhayangkari Kindergarten. The research method used is qualitative descriptive research. The research subjects consisted of principals, teachers and kindergarten children. Data collection is done using interview instruments, observation sheets and documentation studies. The research data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis model which included the reduction, display and verification processes. The results of the study show first, the learning process carried out at Bhayangkari Kindergarten has met the norms of gender equality and justice seen from the learning planning process, teaching and learning interactions, classroom management and learning evaluation. However, the choice of playing tools and materials carried out by children during learning is still influenced by the community stereotypes about playing the tools and materials played by women and men. Second, Bhayangkari Kindergarten has developed a learning process based on indicators of gender responsive learning in early childhood by giving equal opportunities to women and men to gain access and active participation in learning, obtaining the same rights and obligations in the learning process, obtaining services that the same and obtain the same teaching materials. Third, to develop gender responsive learning in Bhayangkari Kindergarten, the school pays attention to grouping children while playing and learning. The group formed takes into account the diversity of children in terms of ability, culture and religion. In addition, in learning, the teacher gives children the opportunity to learn based on children's interests so that children are given the freedom to choose games according to their interests.Keywords: Gender Responsive Learning, Kindergarten

Media ajar berupa nyanyian atau lagu dipandang sangat penting untuk membantu pencapaian tujuan pendidikan yang dilakukan dalam suatu proses belajar mengajar baik formal maupun nonformal. Salah satu media ajar yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu anak-anak prasekolah dalam memahami pesan pendidikan adalah lagu anak-anak. Tujuan pokok penelitian ini adalah menguji penciptaan lagu anak-anak  dikaitkan dengan daya gunanya  untuk menyampaikan pesan pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode terapan. Subjek penelitian adalah para guru prasekolah. Langkah uji dilakukan dengan mengambil cara yang paling sederhana, yakni pertama, memperdengarkan lagu. Kedua, menirukan lagu yang diperdengarkan dan disampaikan pesan lagu dalam bentuk nyanyian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para guru tampak tertarik dengan lagu yang diperdengarkan. Selain itu, guru dapat dengan mudah menirukan lagu yang diperdengarkan dan menangkap isi atau pesan lagu. Learning material in a form of songs is considered essential to support educational purposes of a certain teaching and learning process in formal, non-formal, and informal educations. Children song is one of several types of learning material which is used to help students in understanding educational messages. The main aim of this study is to deeply examine the creation of children song and to confirm whether the children song creation has been in line with its usability− which is to deliver educational messages to children. Method implemented in this research was developmental research, while the research subjects were preschool teachers. Stages in trying out the songs to the research subjects comprised three steps. First, subjects listened to the songs. Second, subjects imitated the songs and captured the meaning behind it. Third, subjects understood and analyzed the songs. Results showed that the teachers, first, were interested to the songs. Second, teachers found no difficulties in imitating the songs. Lastly, teachers were able to easily understand the message delivered through the songs.

Classroom management is a real effort to realize an effective teaching or learning process. With good class management is expected to support the achievement of learning objectives and provide a positive influence that directly support the implementation of teaching and learning in the classroom. In order to provide encouragement and stimulus to students in learning, the class needs to be managed as well as possible. Activities that need to be implemented in managing the class, namely the arrangement of students in the classroom, spatial arrangement, creating classroom discipline, showing attitude responsiveness.This study aims to determine the management of classes in Indonesian subjects related to the maintenance of optimal learning conditions (preventive) Learning conditions (repressive). Data collection with observation of learning process observation. Interviews with relevant subject teachers, and with a study of the form of a learning program plan (RPP). The results obtained, then analyzed based on the method of observation and documentation studies and. The results showed that classroom management in Indonesian language subjects in SMP Negeri 10 Bengkulu city related to the maintenance of optimal learning (preventive) which consists of 6 aspects and return of learning condition (repressive) consisting of 3 aspects already implemented by the teacher.

Teaching skills and learning skills existed even in the ancient times, though the terms were coined at a later stage. Dire necessity forced the ancient man to learn skills like hunting animals for food. As mankind was heading towards new civilisation, teaching skills found a place in society. Saints demonstrated skills in education as well as in warfare to princes. These teaching skills and learning skills have taken new dimensions to cater the needs of changing trends in all fields. Teachers exhibit skills like classroom management, use of black board and skill of explaining. Drastic changes have taken place in learning skills as well. Some people like craftsmen learn skills without formal education. But modern education demands organised classroom study. So, students have to acquire learning skills like concentration, punctuality and discipline. However the modern trends and necessities in education require constant developments in teaching skills and learning skills. The learning process has no end. It starts from childhood and lasts till death. This paper deals with various aspects of teaching skills and learning skills which are inevitable in education.

: The use of learning media is one of the critical success factors in higher education, therefore an educator must have innovation to use of learning media. The purpose of this research is to develop learning media based on the Inspiring Suit 8 on arbitration material courses of theoretical and practice for Volleyball 1 academic year 2018/2019 at IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. The existence of media will be a big successful support in learning process, so that students do not feel boredom because of the weaknesses of the lecturers, in which they are unable to provided good learning variation or even have difficulty in conveying or transferring knowledge. The research was descriptive qualitative design. The research subjects were students of Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program who took volleyball theory and practice courses in the even semester academic year 2018/2019. The instruments used were the media expert review questionnaire, the learning expert questionnaire, and the trial analysis questionnaire. The questionnaire will be analyzed to see the feasibility of the developed media. Based on the data results review by media expert volleyball, media learning expert and field trials, it can be concluded that media developed is useful in learning process. In addition, it is used to provide independent motivation, which can be used in lesson for students.

This study aims to determine the appropriate steps in carrying out academic supervision so as to be able to improve the pedagogical competence of teachers, especially in the learning process which in turn will affect the improvement of the quality of education.The study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle has different planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Research subjects of the principal and teacher. The school principal with his academic supervision measures, while the Kunto Darussalam Elementary School 017 teacher as an object as well as the subject in providing academic supervision treatment. Data collection techniques through class supervision with stages of supervising teachers in the learning process and observation of classroom learning, to record important events related to research, especially at the time of the processlearning takes place.Data analysis techniques that guide data processing using a percentage (%) of achievement with 100 constants. And to see the interpertation using score interpertation criteria to strengthen the interpretation in conclusions as follows: 80% - 100% (Very Good), 66% - 79 % (Good), 56% - 65% (Enough), and 40% - 55% (Less).The results showed that the ability of teachers in the implementation of the learning process experienced an increase in the percentage at each stage, from the first cycle reached an average of 63% (sufficient) and in the second cycle reached an average of 68% (good). There is an increase in teacher's ability by 5% from cycle I. In detail there is a significant increase in the initial condition of the school when compared to the final condition in the second cycle. The accuracy of teachers entering the class increased by 48%, the use of learning media increased by 32%, varied methods increased by 31%, and learning strategies increased by 36%.

This study investigated the influence of personality on the class room management of IXth standard students in Madurai district. Psychoanalysts believe man’s behaviour is triggered mostly by powerful hidden forces within the personality. Sigmund Freud, an Australian physician was the originator of this theory in the early nineties He says much of people’s everyday behaviour is motivated by unconscious forces about which they know little. In order to fully understand personality then one need to illuminate and expose what is in the unconscious. Class room management is very important task in the teaching learning process. Without class room management skill teaching skill has made no effect in the class room. In the study the researcher take IX standard students in Madurai district. In this study researcher proved the above statement. He Proved that the classroom management is directly related with the personality.

Teachers should understand how to organize and utilize all the facilities and infrastructure in the learning process to learn effectively and in fun. Sitting formation Setup is one of the most enjoyable and effective class management components because it can involve all students and teachers more able to know and understand the ability of pupils with all the advantages and disadvantages. Various seating models with all advantages and disadvantages can be tested to maximize the utilization of school facilities and infrastructure and motivate students in the teaching and learning process.

ABSTRACTThis research was designed to investigate the strategies used and challenges faced by lecturers in managing EFL speaking classes. The researchers used both classroom observation and semi-structured interviews in collecting the data. The participants of this research were three EFL lecturers teaching English Speaking classes at the English Department of Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. These lecturers were selected purposively; all of them were those assigned to teach the speaking class. Insights of the lecturers on their experiences in managing speaking classes were investigated to examine strategies and challenges they faced. The findings suggest that the lecturers utilized several strategies such as setting the classroom, determining seating arrangements, fostering discipline, applying certain speaking activities, and providing interesting topics to discuss. The data also indicated that the lecturers faced challenges in managing their teaching. Issues such as lack of equipment or teaching media to support speaking activities, students’ lacked self-confidence, and lack of vocabulary were among the challenges faced by the lecturers.  ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mendapat informasi tentang strategi dan tantangan yang dihadapi dosen di dalam mengelola kelas. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara semi-terstruktur. Sumber data atau partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 3 dosen yang mengajar kelas Speaking di Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Para partisipan itu direkrut mengunakan teknik purposive sampling, dimana partisipan yang terlibat adalah yang sudah mengajar speaking selama beberapa semester. Hasil obssrevasi dan wawancara diperoleh informasi bahwa terdapat beberapa strategi dosen di dalam mengelola kelas, diantaranya: menyusun tempat duduk sedimikian rupa, menegakkan disiplin, mengunakan berbagai teknik pembelajaran speaking, dan memberikan topik yang menarik untuk didiskusikan. Penelitian ini juga memperoleh beberapa temuan yang berhubungan dengan tantangan dosen, diantaranya, tidak mencukupi fasilitas yang memadai yang dapat mendukung aktivitas pembelajaran speaking, kurangnya rasa percaya diri dari mahasiswa itu sendiri, dan tidak memadainya kosa kata yang dikuasai mahasiswa juga merupakan tantangan tersendiri dalam pengelolaan kelas speaking.
