The main goal of development reduces the gap in society, the main challenge of development in our time is the challenge of inclusion. The concept of development for Bali should be adapted to the potential and conditions of Bali itself, always looking closely at the changing gaps that occur all the time. The tourism sector is a potential development to develop. The tourism sector in Bali province is the income-generating sector. The development of tourism sector in Bali spread throughout the district / city, one of which is Gianyar regency. Development of development in tourism sector should be done continuously (sustainable) by utilizing local community as a manager, so as not to shift the tourism paradigm in areas rich in customs, natural potential (rice fields, mountains and sea).                Analytical technique used is the analysis of structural equations with alternative Partial Least Square (PLS). The result of research shows that the R Square coefficient value of 0.685 means that 68.5 percent of the variation in the quality of Community Based Tourism can be explained by the variation of the quality of social capital, tourism potential, and community empowerment, while the rest of 31.5 percent is explained by other variables not included in the model. Social capital, empowerment and tourism potential has a positive and significant impact on the quality of Community Based Tourism (CBT). The empowerment variable moderate the influence of social capital and tourism potential to community based tourism (CBT) in Gianyar, Sukawati and Blahbatuh Subdistricts.

Loyalty has become a serious concern for the managers of tourist villages because the loyalty of tourists is a guarantee of tourism business to be sustainable. The purpose of this study is to examine how the loyalty of tourists can be created by the factors of the tourist attraction, safety, and amenities, with loyalty as an intervening, on the model of Community-Based Tourism development in Gunung Api Purba Nglanggeran Tourism Village. The analytical method used is path analysis with Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that the tourist attraction is a dominant factor that gives a positive influence on the loyalty of tourists through intervention variable satisfaction. Other factors studied, namely safety and tourist facilities are not proven to affect the loyalty of tourists. This research recommends that loyalty of tourists can be achieved through efforts to improve the quality of tourist attraction.

This study aims to determine the effect of community empowerment on community based tourism (CBT) and community welfare at the Ceking Rice Terrace tourist attraction, Tegallalang, Gianyar. The sample of this study were 88 people through simple random sampling. The data collection method used was questionnaire distribution. The data analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results showed that community empowerment had a positive effect on CBT and community welfare, community empowerment and CBT had a positive effect on community welfare, and CBT was able to positively mediate the effect of empowerment on community welfare. Community empowerment should be further improved because there are still many people who do not participate in the development of tourist objects, especially Ceking Rice Terrace, which causes economic disparities in Tegallalang Village and there are still people who do not have a job, or in other words, the welfare of the community has not yet been realized.

Marine based tourism has emerged as a subject of concern in the area of ocean and coastal management. Today, demand for marine tourism has increased dramatically and is highlighted as one of the new horizons and fastest-growing sectors in the world’s tourism industry. Malaysia is indeed one of the countries with the most beautiful and diversified marine life. The fundamental purpose of this study is to examine the satisfaction of tourists towards the service quality of marine tourism in Malaysia. The development of the research framework is based on the SERVQUAL model. A total of 300 responses were received from the Klang Valley area of Malaysia. For the purpose of processing and analyzing the data, Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) method was employed. By applying a two-step approach, the study assesses the measurement model and the structural model. Findings from the survey reveal that assurance, tangibility, empathy, reliability, and responsiveness have a significant positive relationship with customer satisfaction thus these factors describe the customer satisfaction adequately. This study would enable policymakers and tourism companies to develop policies to improve customer satisfaction by increasing the quality of service.

This study aims to examine the factors that influence the level of economic empowerment of Muslim communities through the activities of jam'iyah arisan. Where are the factors that influence the level of community empowerment, namely physical capital, human capital, social capital, empowerment actor groups (KPP) and empowerment. Samples were taken from female jam'iyah members in the village of Jatibogor. This research is a quantitative study using PLS (Partial Least Square) data analysis. The results showed that the empowerment actor group variables, physical capital, human capital, social capital, and empowerment had no effect on empowerment. KPP variables, physical capital, and human capital had no effect on social capital. KPP, physical capital, human capital, and social capital had no effect on empowerment.

Lake Toba region is included in one of the 10 priority tourism destination locations. To answer the challenges of changing world tourism trends that utilize digital technology, several strategies must be carried out. In digitizing the process, it is necessary to involve the local community in formulating regulations, strengthening value chain partnerships between businesses in the tourism sector, increasing motivation and enabling the community through various kinds of assistance and training. Therefore, research is conducted that has the aim to develop the tourism potential of the Lake Toba Region through digitalization with the concept of community empowerment. As the output of this research, a community will be formed in each Lake Toba District, so that based on this community various development policies and strategies can be formulated in overcoming problems and developing the tourism sector in the Lake Toba region. Introduction: The success of “Alert villages” (“alert village”) can be explained using an independence-based "community empowerment model", involving factors of physical capital, human capital, social capital and community empoweredness. Method: This model was developed with a cros sectional design involving physical capital, human capital, social capital, community empoweredness, and “alert village” success. The research subjects were 216 implementers of “alert village” in Panekan Sub-district, Magetan District, selected by cluster sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, then analyzed using structural equation modeling based on partial least square. Result: The success of “alert village” wass influenced by: 1) physical capital with total effect of 0.105360; 2) social capital with total effect 0.774022, 3) community empoweredness with total effect 0.952891. Analysis: The success of “alert village” was determined by a direct determinant of community empoweredness and two indirect determinants of physical capital and social capital. Discussion: In the model of community empowerment in the implementation of “alert village” in Panekan Sub-district, the success of “alert village” was determined by 2 main factors in sequence, namely: 1) community empoweredness that included the ability to identify and develop potential, identify and prioritize problems, solve the problem; 2) social capital that included social network, level of trust between people, obedience to norm, caring for others, and involvement in implementation. Keywords: Physical capital, Social capital, Community empoweredness, Alert village

This research contributes to the developing literature on CSR, second-order social capital, and sustainable innovation ambidexterity by (1) offering a complete theoretical framework grounded on related theories by clarifying the associations between the four components of CSR proposed by Carroll, because this model suggests a company to be a responsible member of the society by following the required laws while generating profits and conducting philanthropic initiatives, SSC, and sustainable innovation ambidexterity, and (2) testing this framework in a new setting and with a new target population. This study focuses on the top-level management of different manufacturing companies located in Pakistan. A total of 34 manufacturing industries were selected using a cluster sampling technique based on their proximity in the selected cluster. Geographical location and industry type were selected as the criteria to group the industries in clusters. The data collected from 220 top and middle-level managers were analyzed using a partial least square method while the moderation analysis was conducted by using variance analysis. According to the findings of this study, economic, ethical, legal, and philanthropical responsibilities of CSR were all found to have a positive influence on second-order social capital. The economic, ethical, and legal responsibility of CSR did not influence sustainable innovation ambidexterity, whereas the philanthropical responsibility of CSR was found to have a positive influence on sustainable innovation ambidexterity. The findings of this research study will allow the managers to identify the right mix of CSR initiatives required to manage SSC and sustainable innovation exploitation and exploration techniques.
