College accreditation by BAN-PT is one of the parameters in determining the quality of universities in Indonesia. As consideration to achieve the standard from BAN-PT, so they have an evaluation process itself in study program or college to be meet the standard universities when set by the BAN-PT. In carrying out the process of self evaluation, required data source that is used as the basis in assessing on a criteria. In most of the study program, all data spread on the system information and physical document that different, that is require more time and effort to integrate up to interpret. Data warehouse fight important in collecting data that spread and become an information. The process data warehouse with ETL used to integrate, extract, clean, transforming and reload into the data warehouse. With the existence of the data warehouse on Academic STIMIK STIKOM Bali can make it easier for executives to get the information to support the standard accreditation standart three and can be used as a reference in decision making.

Accreditation is an evaluation to ensure the quality of a study program at higher education by completing two main documents for qualitative data and self-evaluation, namely Study Program Performance Report (LKPS) and Self Evaluation Report (LED) respectively. Data used for this process must be consistent and accurate, therefore a central repository is proposed. A data warehouse for the domain of Research and Community Service is built using the snowflake schema and a five-step approach methodology proposed for the educational data warehouse. The schema consisted of one fact table, ten dimension tables, and four bridge tables. Using a business intelligence tool, data from the data warehouse is queried and provided in a dashboard. The data warehouse successfully returned the qualitative data needed for LKPS. As for the evaluation data for LED, the data warehouse is able to fulfill seven out of ten requirements. The data for the remaining three are provided with a slightly different orientation to the requirement, this was due to the data source.

The Religious Research, Development and Training Agency of the Ministry of Religious Affairs as a supervisory unit for Widyaiswara functional positions, has the task of evaluating the performance of Widyaiswara of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. That demands the availability of a need for reports or data that presented quickly and accurately when the Widyaiswara performance evaluation process is conducted every year. The problem that occurs these days is that the data on the result of credit score of Widyaiswara assessment are stored in an unstructured excel file. This study utilizes the data warehouse and business intelligence in the process of Widyaiswara performance evaluation. The OLTP (Online Transaction Process) Data that presented for data warehouse is the result of credit score of Widyaiswara assessment. The planning of data warehouse conducted through nine-steps methodology that created by Kimball and Ross, then those data were analyzed using OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) in the application of qliksense in the form of dashboard business intelligence to present the data in a faster visual form. The result, giving the information to the leader to evaluate the performance of Widyaiswara, especially in making decision such as circular letter to improve the quality of Widyaiswara performance, the minimum score limit in the performance agreement, reward in the form of certificate of appreciation for the highest score and punishment in the form of warning letter for the low total score.

The inventory system is a system that has a very important role in a company. Inventory systems have been widely used or developed in a place with various technologies and systems. Problems at PT. Sanghiang Perkasa is due to the fact that the data has not been stored in a good file and the management and processing of inventory data is still processed in a conventional way, which has a very significant effect on the quality of the data and information produced. The main objective of this research is to produce an inventory system that is powerful and in accordance with the needs of the users associated with the inventory system. The system development method in this inventory system uses the waterfall method which consists of six stages. The stages are System Analysis and Design, software requirements analysis, system design, coding, system testing and maintenance. This system was built using the PHP programming language, DataBase MySQL. It is hoped that with the implementation of this inventory system at PT. Sanghiang Perkasa can make it easier to store and process data and information such as stock-taking data, information on incoming and outgoing goods transactions, purchase and sales return data, managing customer and supplier data to making product stock reports and assembly reports. <p class="BodyCxSpFirst">Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi sangat penting bagi rumah sakit, karena berpengaruh pula terhadap kualitas pelayanan kesehatan yang secara manual diubah menjadi digital dengan menggunakan teknologi informasi.Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metodologi <em>Nine step</em> sebagai acuan dalam merancang suatu <em>data warehouse</em><em>,</em> untuk pemodelan menggunakan skema konstelasi fakta dengan 3 tabel fakta dan 11 tabel dimensi. Perbedaan penelitian ini dengan penelitian sebelumnya terletak pada sumber data yang diekstrak langsung dari <em>database</em> SIMRS yang digunakan rumah sakit, sehingga tidak ada ekstraksi data secara manual.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain data warehouse berbasis Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) sebagai sarana penunjang kualitas pelayanan kesehatan rumah sakit. OLAP yang dihasilkan akan berupa desain data warehouse dengan berbagai dimensi yang akan menghasilkan tampilan informasi berupa Chart maupun Grafik sehingga informasinya mudah dibaca dan dipahami oleh berbagai pihak.</p><p class="BodyCxSpFirst"> </p><p class="BodyCxSpFirst"><em><strong>Abtract</strong></em></p><p class="BodyCxSpFirst"><em>The use of information technology is very important for hospitals, because it also affects the quality of health services, which manualy changed to digital using information technology. In this study, the authors used the Nine step methodology as a reference in designing a data warehouse for modeling using a fact constellation schema with 3 fact tables and 11 dimension tables. the different in this study from previous research is that the data source was taken directly from the SIMRS database used by the hospital, so there is no manual data extraction.</em><em>The aim of this research is to be able to produce a Data Warehouse design based on Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) as a means of supporting the quality of hospital health services. The resulting OLAP will be a data warehouse design with various dimensions will produce the displays information in the form of a graph or chart so that the information is easy to read and understand by various parties.</em></p><p class="BodyCxSpLast"><em> </em></p><p class="BodyCxSpFirst"><em><strong><br /></strong></em></p>

Knowledge discovery is the process of adding knowledge from a large amount of data. The quality of knowledge generated from the process of knowledge discovery greatly affects the results of the decisions obtained. Existing data must be qualified and tested to ensure knowledge discovery processes can produce knowledge or information that is useful and feasible. It deals with strategic decision-making for an organization. Combining multiple operational databases and external data create the data warehouse. This treatment is very vulnerable to incomplete, inconsistent, and noisy data. Data mining provides a mechanism to clear this deficiency before finally stored in the data warehouse. This research tries to give technique to improve the quality of information in the data warehouse.

As an Educational institutions need to have more knowledge, in evaluating, designing and making decisions. Where from such knowledge can be obtained from the data stored in the operational activities of educational institutions databases into the data warehose, so it can be used as a support in the decision making process. Data Warehouse has a major role in the provision of strategic information that can be used to meet the needs of management in a business context. This study examines the development of the data warehouse to the data of new admissions to the STIE Binaniaga Bogor, which can dig up important information that can help retrieval strategic decision to support promotional activities at the STIE Binaniaga Bogor. The final goal of this study was to produce a design of a data warehouse that can support the needs of management in making decisions by providing strategic information on new admissions, which produces a summary of information that is accurate and useful as input to determine strategies for promotion.

In this era, the development of information technology is so fast that it cannot be looked away. This development of information technology is going to affect many kinds of fields, including developer. The point of this development is to help the work done by the people become easier. One of its benefit is in decision making. Decision mistakes is one of the general problems that usually happened in decision making. A system will be made with the purpose to ease the decisions making process through methods. The methods are Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) as weight calculation and Simple Addictive Weighting (SAW) as an alternative calculation media. In this system there are 5 criteria which are: non-fixed income, living cost, age, SPT Pph Ps. 21 for credit and paycheck. There are 11 alternative that can be used as a consideration for the manager. By using AHP method which has a consistent ratio reaching 96,62% and SAW, the selection process is going to be faster than it used to be, helping the Manager in making the decision also lessen the use of space and paper

This chapter presents a Model to Estimate the Human Factor Quality in Free/Libre Open Source Software (FLOSS) Development, or EHFQ-FLOSS. The model consists of three dimensions: Levels (individual, community, and foundation), Aspects (internal or contextual), and Forms of Evaluation (self-evaluation, co-evaluation, and hetero-evaluation). Furthermore, this model provides 145 metrics applicable to all three levels, as well as an algorithm that guides their proper application to estimate the systemic quality of human resources involved in the development of FLOSS, guide the decision-making process, and take possible corrective actions.

El presente trabajo tiene como propósito compartir las experiencias vividas por la carrera de Enseñanza del Inglés para I y II ciclos de la Universidad Estatal a Distancia en los dos procesos de autoevaluación llevados a cabo. El primer proceso se realizó del 2003 al 2005. Del mismo surgió un plan de mejoramiento que culminó con el rediseño del nivel de diplomado y bachillerato y el diseño de la licenciatura. El segundo proceso se ejecutó del 2011 al 2013. De este segundo proceso surgió un informe de autoevaluación con fines de acreditación que fue presentado ante el SINAES en abril de 2013. Además, se diseñó un compromiso de mejoramiento que pretende mantener la carrera actualizada y con un alto nivel de calidad.Palabras clave: autoevaluación, acreditación, calidad de la educación, mejora continuaAbstractThis paper’s aim is to share experiences of two self-evaluation processes developed by Distance State University in Costa Rica for the major: Teaching English to Elementary Students. The first self-evaluation process was developed from 2003 to 2005. From the analysis of the collected data, an improvement plan was developed with the main achievement being the redesign of the diplomado and bachelor levels and the design of a new level: Licenciatura. The second self-evaluation process was implemented from 2011 to 2013. From this second process, an evaluation report for accreditation was presented to SINAES in April, 2013. While data warehouse is designed to support the decision-making function, the most time-consuming part is Extract Transform Load (ETL) process. Case in Academic Data Warehouse, when data source came from faculty’s distributed database, although having a typical database but become not easier to integrate. This paper presents the ETL detail process following Data Flow Thread in data staging area for identifying, profiling, the content analyzing including all tables in data sources, and then cleaning, confirming dimension and data delivery to the data warehouse. Those processes are running gradually from each distributed database data sources until it merged. Dimension table and fact table are generated in a multidimensional model. ETL tool is Pentaho Data Integration 6.1. ETL testing is done by comparing data source and data target and DW testing conducted by comparing the data analysis between SQL query and Saiku Analytics plugin in Pentaho Business Analytic Server.
