This research aims to know the economic contributions in Batubulan village of Center by Bali. This research was conducted at the Balinese Souvenirs Centre and at Batubulan village environment, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. The scope in this research is the economic contributions such as labour absorption, development of other economic structure due to the Balinese Souvenirs Center, village incomeData collection techniques used included observation, structured interview, and documentary method. The technique of determination of informants used is purposive sampling. Descriptive qualitative used to analyze the data. In this study, the first thing is data collection. After getting all data, the next step is to conduct discussions and make conclusions. The overall attempt to capture the realities in the field in according with the research and we strive to earn the meaning so that it can be known to the social impact of economic center by Bali against local communities Batubulan village and its absorption of labor from local communities Batubulan village. The presence of the Bali souvenirs center in Batubulan village gives contributions for people in Batubulan village. In terms of the absorption of local product is still low because the craft of stone and sculpture cannot be marketed in Bali Souvenirs Centre. The existence of the Bali souvenirs center also gave rise to local hawkers who made this profession as a sideline. Besides the opening of employment at Bali souvenirs center also came Bali citizens also features from outside Bali so gave effort to boarding houses a business opportunity for the villagers. Bali souvenirs center also gave contribution to Batubulan village, traditional village, Banjar, and youth organizations in it. Keywords: Local Villagers, Contribution, Economy

Grouper fish is a type of reef fish that is exported as a commodity to various countries such as Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and China. Grouper fish can be cultivated using floating net cages and have a high selling price (high profit) but also have a high risk (high risk), thus affecting the market and the number of grouper aquaculture. The purpose of this research is to determine the socioeconomic impact of the use of floating net on grouper farmers. The determination of the research area was carried out deliberately in Situbondo Regency. The study was conducted with a qualitative approach. Data collection is done by observation and depth interview. The informants of the research were determined intentionally, namely grouper fish farmers who do aquaculture with floating net cages. The data analysis method uses Milles and Huberman. The results showed that the use of floating nets for grouper culture had social and economic impacts. The social impact on grouper farmers is the formation of grouper farmers, thus creating a social network in the form of interaction between farmers; construction of supporting facilities for the development of aquaculture businesses but also raises social prejudices between farmers because of frequent theft of fish in floating nets. While the economic impact is based on increasing grouper production which has a direct impact on the income of grouper farmers. Keywords : Floating net, grouper fish farmers, socio-economic impacts

Agro-tourism is a new tourism product introduced in Malaysia based on agricultural attraction. Cameron Highlands is the largest agricultural based highland resort area in Malaysia. The cool climate, farms, and natural environment make Cameron Highlands a famous tourist destination. Agrotourism has become one of the important economic sectors in Cameron Highlands. The study is aimed to examine the social impact of the agro-tourism industry on the local urban residents in Cameron Highlands. A questionnaire survey was carried out among the local urban residents to examine the social impact based on the respondents’ experience and perceptions. A sample of 100 respondents were selected from three main urban settlements in Cameron Highlands. The social impacts were analysed based on the changes over the period of five (5) years. The study covered four (4) main aspects, i.e. safety, job and business opportunity, migration, and social-cultural (language, religious and educational level). The findings indicate that the local urban residents were positively and also negatively affected by the agro-tourism activities and development in Cameron Highlands. Proper planning and policies are crucial to manage the agro-tourism and related development in Cameron Highlands.

O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar como o modelo de negócios sociais se relaciona com as estratégias de criação de valor compartilhado propostas por Porter e Kramer (2011). Para atingi-lo, optou-se pela realização de um estudo de caso múltiplo em dois negócios sociais do setor de educação e tecnologia que atuam no Brasil, que teve como técnicas de coleta de dados a pesquisa documental e a entrevista semiestruturada. Os resultados apontaram que nos modelos de negócios sociais analisados estão implícitas as estratégias de criação de valor compartilhado, pois para atender as necessidades dos mercados em que atuam, os de pessoas de baixa renda e/ou com necessidades especiais, essas organizações precisaram oferecer produtos distintos daqueles que são ofertados em mercados tradicionais. Além disso, esses negócios sociais necessitaram de uma estrutura de operações e competências que contribuíssem para a redução de custos e geração de impacto social; e de um ambiente externo que apoiasse suas atividades para que os benefícios sociais e econômicos pudessem ser disseminados.Palavras-chave: Negócios sociais. Estratégias de criação de valor compartilhado.ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to analyze how the social business model relates to the shared value creation strategies proposed by Porter and Kramer (2011). Thus, it was conducting a multiple case study in two social businesses of the education and technology sector operating in Brazil, which had as data collection techniques the documentary research and the semi-structured interview. The results pointed out that the social business models analyzed are implicit in shared value creation strategies because to meet the needs of the markets in which they operate, those of low-income and people with special needs, these organizations had to offer different products those provided in traditional markets. Also, these social businesses required a structure of operations and competencies that contributed to cost reduction and social impact generation; and an external environment that supports their activities to disseminate social and economic benefits.Keywords: Social Business. Abstract            This study examine exposure of public service announcements, facebook, family support, and company support which is involving working mom to have exclusive breastfeeding. The coefficient determination of this study is 70,2. It shows that all of variables affect the successfully working mom giving exclusive breastfeeding. Sidoarjo delta fishing becomes one of family destination that has consequences and impact on socio-economics of local tourism area. The purpose of this research is to identify the impacts or effects of fishing activities on the socio-economic life of local communities. This research method uses descriptive research type through qualitative approach. The results showed that the social impact of tourism activities on the local community, among others, the type of community work has more variation, development and improvement in the education level of local communities, as well as increasing the role and awareness of the community in maintaining the fishing tourist area of delta fishing Sidoarjo. Meanwhile, the economic impact of tourism activities include changes in the level of community income is quite significant on job opportunities and entrepreneurial communities.

This study aims to determine how the impact of the Kendari Sea Fisheries Port on the socio-economic conditions of the fishing community in the Abeli District. The determination of the study area was carried out by census sampling with 64 respondents. The method of data analysis uses descriptive qualitative analysis which consists of describing the facts, nature, and relationships between the phenomena encountered. Respondents' assessment of indicators measured with 5 Likert scales and the results of the Likert scale tabulation were analyzed using class intervals and interpretation in the form of a percent (%). The results of the study note that the social impact of the existence of the Kendari ocean fishery port has an influence on the level of education and health level of fishermen and their family members as well as the absence of social change and social interaction between fishing communities while the economic impact of the existence of the Kendari ocean fishery port has an influence on employment opportunities in industries that there is a PPS in Kendari, the opportunity to try with the opening of business opportunities that can become opportunities for trading activities so as to increase the income of fishermen communities.

The main goal of this paper is to review the methods of measuring the impact of different social programs, activities, projects or programs on the local community development. One method will be chosen, the most adequate one for research about the impact of the nonprofit sector on the socio-economic development of the local communities, especially the impact of nonprofit organization. At the beginning of the paper will be explained the need to calculate social impact in order to advocate stronger involvement of civil society in the community development, especially in the increasing of the social capital. After that, an overview of the different methods will be given, with the method name, who founded and / or develop that method and other particularity, and for what the method is used for. This paper provided an insight into previous scientific papers and research, and proved that there is room for further research on the social impact methods. Namely, no research has been done so far on the impact of nonprofit associations on the socioeconomic development of the local communities.
