Marital harmony will be difficult to achieve without a good interpersonal relationship between husband and wife. In creating a good interpersonal relationship needs effective communication so as to prevent yourself from situation that could damage the relationship and can lead to not harmonious marriage. This study aimed to determine the relationship between interpersonal communication with marital harmony.   This study is a quantitative research that used a product moment correlation. The sampling technique used is the technique simple random sampling, with 110 subjects. The scale used in this research are scale interpersonal communication and scale marital harmony. Based on the results obtained correlation values (r) of 0,649 with probabilities of 0,000 (p<0,05). The result from test data analysis is that there is a positive and significant correlation between interpersonal communication with marital harmony. The effective contribution to interpersonal communication with marital harmony is 42,2% and the others are 57,8% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.   Keywords: Interpersonal communication, marriage harmony

This research is motivated by the low attitude of the students participating in the PMW (Student Entrepreneurial Program) in running a business, this is presumably because it has something to do with the SEM (Smart Entrepreneur Model) training held by UPKK UNP properly. This study aims to: 1) describe the implementation of SEM (Smart Entrepreneur Model) training; 2) describe the attitudes of PMW participants in running a business; and 3) see the relationship between the Smart Entrepreneur Model Training and the attitudes of PMW participants in running a business. This type of research is quantitative research with correlational descriptive technique. The population of this study were all participants of the Smart Entrepreneur Model training, totaling 85 students. While the research population was 43 students who were taken using simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques in the form of a Likert scale with data collection tools in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula and product-moment correlation. The results showed that: (1) The implementation of the SEM (Smart Entrepreneur Model) training had not been carried out properly, (2) The attitude of the PMW participant students in running a business was relatively low, (3) There was a significant relationship between the SEM (Smart Entrepreneur Model) training and the attitude of PMW participants in running a business. It is recommended to UPKK UNP as the organizer of the SEM (Smart Entrepreneur Model) Training to improve and further improve the implementation of the training to improve students' abilities in entrepreneurship and to PMW participating students to be more active in participating in training so that knowledge and knowledge in entrepreneurship will increase.

ABSTRACT  This research was motivated by the low self-confidence development of children aged 6-7 years in Anak Air, Batipuh Panjang Village, Padang City. It is suspected that the cause of the child's low self-confidence is partly due to the inappropriate application of parenting methods. This study aims to: 1) describe the parenting methods applied by parents to children; 2) describes the self-confidence of children aged 6-7 years; and 3) looking at the relationship between parenting methods and the self-confidence of children aged 6-7 years in Anak Air, Batipuh Panjang Village, Padang City.This research is a correlational quantitative research. The population in this study were children aged 6-7 years and their mothers as many as 50 people with a sample of 75%, namely 38 people with simple random sampling technique. The data technique used a questionnaire and a check for the observation of children's self-confidence development, the data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis and formula-data-moment.The results of this study indicate: 1) the parenting methods applied by parents to children aged 6-7 years are still inaccurate and inconsistent; 2) the development of self-confidence of children aged 6-7 years is still low; and 3) there is a significant relationship between parenting methods and the development of self-confidence of children aged 6-7 years in Anak Air, Batipuh Panjang Village, Padang City. Research suggestions are: 1) it is hoped that parents in Anak Air Kelurahan Batipuh Panjang Padang City can pay attention to and apply the application of parenting methods to children so that they can contribute to the development of children's self-confidence as expected; and 2) it is hoped that further researchers can find or examine other variables that affect the development of children's self-confidence. Keywords: self-confidence, parenting methods, family education

The purpose of this paper is to study the relationship between job satisfaction and work performance of sub- district municipality administrators in the eastern region. The population used in this research is the head and sub-head of sub-district municipality, which have offices in 7 provinces of the eastern region of Thailand, totally 531 people. The sample size consisted of 400 people. Simple random sampling technique was used to collect data. The instruments used for collecting data were questionnaires. In the data analysis, pear son product moment correlation was used to analyse the relationship between job satisfaction and work performance of sub- district municipality administrators in the eastern region by setting statistical significance at the level of 0.01. The results showed that there is a relationship between job satisfaction and work performance of sub- district municipality administrators in the eastern region.

This study aims to know how is the effect of interpersonal communication Madurese traders to the cultural acculturation and work ethic of local communities at Pasar Larangan Sidoarjo. The method used in this study is quantitative. The data collection used are questioner presented to 97 respondents who was local communities and Madurese traders at Pasar Larangan Sidoarjo, with simple random sampling technique. The data analysis used is simple linear regression. The result of this study is variable of interpersonal communication has an effect to the cultural acculturation and work ethic. Cultural acculturation has been proved by there is tolerance, the same shoes in economic, the feeling of sympathize to the other culture, the marriage between Madurese and Javanese and an intense interaction among communities. Meanwhile work ethic has been proved by four aspects as follows, time responsibility, toughand never give up, the feeling of being independently and also easy to adaptable.

The main problem in this study was suboptimal employee performance in PT Suzuki Finance Indonesia, so that it was suspected that selection and placement affected employee performance in the Jakarta Headquarter of PT Suzuki Finance Indonesia. The research type was quantitative research. The research population was 252 employees and the sample was 72 respondents sampled by simple random sampling technique and the data collection method used questionnaire. The data analysis was multiple regression analysis, t test and F test using SPSS 24. Based on the analysis result on the effect of selection on employee performance in the Jakarta Headquarter of Suzuki Finance Indonesia, there was no positive and significant effect. Therefore, h1 was rejected and h0 accepted. As for the effect of placement on employee performance in the Jakarta Headquarter of Suzuki Finance Indonesia, there was positive and significant effect. Therefore, h2 was accepted and h0 was rejected. Meanwhile, the effect of selection and placement on employee performance in the Jakarta Headquarter of Suzuki Finance Indonesia was positive and significant. Therefore, the hypothesis was proven.

ABSTRACTThis research was motivated by the high level of juvenile delinquency in the Mega Permai V Complex, Lubuk Buaya Village, Padang. This can be caused by many factors including the low parental social control. This study aims to see a picture of parental social control, a picture of juvenile delinquency and the relationship between juvenile delinquency in Mega Permai V Complex, Lubuk Buaya Village, Padang. This type of research is descriptive correlational where parental social control is a variable (X) and juvenile delinquency as a variable (Y). The population in this study were 55 people. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling technique as many as 35 people. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and data collection tools in the form of questionnaires. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses the percentage formula and the product moment. The results showed that the description of parental social control to adolescents was still categorized as low, the description of juvenile delinquency was categorized as high and there was a significant relationship between juvenile delinquency in Mega Permai V Complex, Lubuk Buaya Village, Padang.Keywords: Parental social control, juvenile delinquency

This study aims to analyze the relationship between moral intelligence and courtesy attitudes of high-grade students of SDN cluster I, Bengkulu City. This research is a quantitative research. The research method used is correlation. The population in this study were high-grade students consisting of grades 4 and 5 of the Elementary School Cluster I of Bengkulu City, totaling 350 students consisting of 3 elementary schools, namely SDN 1, SDN 6, and SDN 7. The sample in this study used the simple random sampling technique. , the sample in this study amounted to 35 respondents who were drawn proportionally. The instruments and data collection techniques used in the study were a questionnaire consisting of a moral intelligence questionnaire and a courtesy questionnaire. The data analysis technique used the product moment correlation formula and the t test. The calculation results obtained rcount value of 0.562, greater than rtabel 0.334 with a significant level of tcount 3.892, and the contribution of moral intelligence by 32% to the polite attitudes of high class students of SDN cluster I Bengkulu City. Thus it can be concluded that there is a relationship between moral intelligence and courtesy attitudes of high-grade students of SDN cluster I Bengkulu City.

This is thought to be caused by several factors, one of which is the lack of parental attention to children. This study aims to see a picture of parental attention, to see a picture of early childhood moral development and the relationship between parental attention and moral development of children aged 5-6 years in Korong Salisikan Nagari Sungai Buluah Timur Batang Anai. This type of research is descriptive correlational. The population in this study parents who have early childhood are 43 people. The sampling technique used simple random sampling technique as many as 35 people. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire or questionnaire, while the data analysis used the percentage formula and the product moment. The results showed that the description of parental attention to children was in the low category, the description of early childhood moral development was in the low category and there was a significant relationship between parental attention and moral development of early childhood in Korong Salisikan Nagari Sungai Buluah Timur Batang Anai.Keywords: parental attention, early childhood moral development

<p><em>The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between students' ability in identifying ethnic, religious, racial and intergroup diversity in the frame of Unity in Diversity with an attitude of respect for ethnic, religious, racial and intergroup diversity in class VII students of Surakarta State Junior High School 4.</em></p><p><em>This research is quantitative research. The method used is descriptive correlational statistics. Subjects in this study were class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Surakarta using simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are test and questionnaire instruments. Validity test used uses the product moment formula. Reliability testing uses the Spearman Brown formula to test the X variable, and the Cronbach Alpha formula to test the Y variable. Data analysis uses a simple correlation technique.</em></p><p><em>The results in this study are that there is a positive and significant relationship between students' ability to identify ethnic, religious, racial and intergroup diversity in the frame of Unity in Diversity with an attitude of respect for ethnic, religious, racial and intergroup diversity. A positive relationship between variable X and variable Y is indicated by the value of r count = 0.889&gt; r table = 0.244. This research aimed to analyze farmer’s perception on the role of village supervisory non-commissioned officers (Babinsa) in the implementation of special effort program for improving rice, corn and soybean production (Upsus Pajale), to analyze the factors affecting farmer’s perception on the role of Babinsa in the implementation of special effort program for improving rice, corn and soybean production (Upsus Pajale), and to analyze the relationship between factor affecting farmer’s perception and farmer’s perception on the role of Babinsa in the implementation of special effort program for improving rice, corn and soybean production (Upsus Pajale). The research took place in Sukoharjo regency because Sukoharjo Regency has implemented the Upsus Pajale program and has collaborated with Babinsa for facilitation in each village. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The data analysis was carried out using Spearman’s rank correlational test. The result of research showed that farmer’s perception on the role of Babinsa as motivator, facilitator, and supervisor belongs to moderate or neutral category; the factors affecting farmer’s perception are need, mentality and emotionality, closeness, and cultural background, all of which affect significantly farmers' perceptions on the role of Babinsa in the implementation of Upsus Pajale
