Slangit is a village in Cirebon, West Java that has potentials to be used as a cultural tourist attraction. These potentials include tradition and custom ceremonies, traditional art of masks and mask performances. This article investigates the the development strategy of cultural attractions in the village of Slangit. Data collection are conducted by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data was analysed using a descriptive qualitative method and by using SWOT analysis. The result shows that theattempt to use arts potential as tourist attraction has been fairly developed by artists group but it is far from adequate becausethe lack of coordination between artists group and the authorityresponsible to promote culture and tourism. It is suggested thatthe government to work together with communities and artists topromote the village potentials as cultural tourism attractions bothas away to preserve arts and to develop tourism as source of localeconomy.

This research aims to determine the potential of tourism based on supporting and inhibiting factors of rural tourism development in Desa Kemetul and analyzing the strategy of community-based tourism in Desa Kemetul. The research was conducted in Desa Kemetul Kecamatan Susukan Kabupaten Semarang. This study uses qualitative method which the data obtained through depth interviews with Kepala Desa Kemetul, Chairman of POKDARWIS Sekar Kanthil, Local Communities, and Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Semarang, and then the data were analyzed using SWOT analysis. The study concluded that Desa Kemetul has a lot of tourism potential to become tourist attraction. Desa Kemetul needs to consider strengthening flagship product, the strategy of sustainable development of a tourist attraction, and strategies for institutional development and human resources.

The batik industry is now growing. Likewise with batik Trusmi that development is now growing rapidly. Revenue is a consequence or impact of the development of the batik industry.  Revenue  Trusmi batik artisans can be used for the basic needs of both basic needs and the needs of batik artisans in the business of making batik and batik artisans revenue also used for industrial development or business Trusmi batik. The problems discussed in this research on the impact of batik artisans Trusmi revenue as a result of the development of batik industry Trusmi. The goal, which is to determine the revenue impact of batik artisans Trusmi batik industry development. The method used in this research is using a descriptive qualitative method with the approach used approach  SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity,  Threat). Data collected by using observation and in-depth interviews with batik artisans  Trusmi and also the village, as well as gathering documentation in the form of images and small notes. Results of research conducted by the researchers, it is known that income Trusmi batik artisans used for a variety of needs, not only for the basic needs of batik artisans but is also used to develop the Business of making batik. By using SWOT analysis of the impact of this revenue is not only powerful, but also has the disadvantage of not yet arranged neatly on the financial statements batik business, and there were also threats, in the form of batik competition from other regions. While the strength of itself is able to carry on business batik and opportunities that can develop the business of making or write Trusmi batik industry. With the aim to maximize profits and the opportunities and minimize weaknesses and threats to the batik artisans need to develop the business by using a strategy of differentiation.

Tourism sectors can be develop as a source of local income, it is expected to support economic development. The tourism development can be acquired from every tourist attraction revenue. This study aims to describe the condition of Kartini Beach Recreation Park in Rembang Regency; Identify the internal and external factors to develop Kartini Beach Recreation Park in Rembang Regency; and Explain the development strategy in developing Kartini Beach Recreation Park in Rembang Regency. This research uses qualitative descriptive method and SWOT analysis. The result of SWOT analysis in Matrix Grand Strategy indicates that Kartini Beach Recreation Park in Rembang Regency supporting diversification strategy. Diversification in Kartini Beach Recreation Park can be carried out with renewal of the rides that do not exist yet, augment some events, souvenir shops and food stalls typically from Rembang accompanied by an increasing in promotions advertised in television and through social media.

Title: The Religious Architecture of Tiwah Feast among Dayak Ngaju as Cultural Tourism Attractions in Central Kalimantan The belief to a transcendent space among Dayak Ngaju people, especially for Kaharingan believers in Central Kalimantan, leads to the Tiwah Feast, a secondary funeral ceremony to transmit the soul of the dead to a celestial realm called The Lewu Tatau. The Tiwah Feast manifests in many meaningfulness of sacred symbols. There are certain rules in the implementation, particularly on the physical symbols and its religious architectures. This article emphasize the uniqueness of the symbols on the religious architecture of Tiwah Feast, which has the potential to become tourist attraction in the development of cultural tourism products. Using qualitative methods, data obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, in two different locations, in Tumbang Koling and Ramang Village. Sacred symbols on its religious architecture include Sapundu and Sandong. A sapundu manifests in the form of a human or animal figure, regarding to the personification of the ancestral spirit. It shows the way for the soul towards Lewu Tatau. Meanwhile, Sandong is a secondary burial coffin to put the ancestral bones. The construction and architecture should concern on foundation, size, height, carvings, and ornaments. This local wisdom is potential to be developed as a cultural tourism attraction. However, the sacredness of the Tiwah Feast must be maintained and preserved from cultural commercialization and commodification issues.

<p>Selumbung Village is one of the villages that is directed to be developed as a tourist village in Karangasem regency. Culture-based tourism development in this village is expected to provide benefits to the community if properly managed and planned. This study aims to get a recommendation for the strategic plan of cultural-based tourism development in the village of Selumbung. The analytical method used in this study includes descriptive analysis which is assisted by the SWOT analysis method to determine the development strategy plan. The results showed that the priority of the culture-based tourism development strategy plan in the village of Selumbung was to develop tourism products, improve management and marketing.</p>

Cilacap is one of the districts in Central Java that has tourism potential with various tourism destination. One of them is Waduk Kubangkangkung. This Waduk Kubangkangkung is a tourism destination that offers beautiful natural tourism and also attractive tourism attraction. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the local community in Waduk Kubangkangkung development, knowing the manager‘s efforts in developing Waduk Kubangkangkung as a sustainable tourism destination, and finding the development strategy of Waduk Kubangkangkung to attract tourists . While the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method and SWOT analysis. The results of this study are the need for collaboration between managers and other stakeholders towards Waduk Kubangkangkung, improve promotion and also facilities that needed by tourists. This research is concerned to elaborate new potential tourist attraction in Desa Pemo Taman Nasional Kelimutu. Desa Pemo has special attraction that is authentic and unique related with nature and culture. The method used is qualitative with descriptive approach. The data collected through in depth interviews with Head of Desa Pemo, Representative of Taman Nasional Kelimutu management, community member, and tourist. The data analyzed using IFAS EFAS analysis and SWOT analysis. The result shows that Desa Pemo has a authentic and unique attraction from the beauty of nature, culture, and hospitable community. Desa Pemo is classified in Quadrant I which means needs to take advantage of external opportunities, overcome internal weaknesses and avoid external threats.  Keywords: Development Strategy, SWOT Analysis, Community-Based Ecotourism

The state of onion cultivation in the village is good enough, This village is economically advantageous to be developed and cultivated. From the results of calculations using SWOT analysis, then the values obtained from the analysis ofinternal factors (IFAS) by 2.80, then and for the value of the analysis of external factors (EFAS) by 2.76, meaning commodity onion has acomparative advantage the result is not only meet the needs of the region concerned but can be exported out of the territory Tabalong. The development strategy onion cultivation in Tabalong is aggressive strategy with more focus on SO strategy (Strength-Opportunities), by using force to take advantage of existing opportunities. Strategies (Strength-Opportunities): Develop and improve the image onion farming, develop agro-onion, optimizing groups for integrated pest management, improving the competence of the Human Resource, optimizing the coordination of relevant agencies, expanding markets for the products of onion.

Bali has various tourism potentials both natural and cultural which yet to be explored and identified further in order to be developed to become tourist attractions, with feasible facilities available that can be offered. Sangeh Village is one of tourist villages in Badung Regency which has various tourism potentials and one of it is Tourist Attraction of Alas Pala Sangeh. In addition there are still many other tourism potentials which are yet to be developed and promoted optimally. Therefore this research was conducted to identify tourism potentials existed at Tourist Village of Sangeh. The method being used in this research was qualitative method with data sampling technique through observations, in depth interviews, and literature studies so that able to identify tourism potentials existed at Tourist Village of Sangeh. The result of this research shows that the Village of Sangeh is one of customary villages in Bali which has various tourism potentials so that the Village of Sangeh is called a Tourist Village. The potentials owned by Tourist village of Sangeh is in the form of physical and non-physical potentials. Physical potentials referred to among others are Tourist Garden of Mumbul, Tourist Attraction of Alas Pala Sangeh and Pondok Jaka, whereas non-physical potential is Trekking activity managed by POKDARWIS Bukit Sari Sangeh, an institution that supervise Sangeh Traditional Activity.This research aims to identificate potentials of tourism available in Tourist Village of Sangeh.    Keywords:Identification, Tourism Potential, and Tourism Village

The Ogoh-ogoh Bali Collection is a center place to preserve one of the Balinese traditions that is "Ogoh-Ogoh", which is also seen as a small monument to preserve the culture as well as supporting tourism, especially cultural tourism. The Ogoh-Ogoh Bali Collection is located in Mengwi village, Badung regency, which has the great potential of cultural tourism in the form of cultural collections and interesting attraction for tourists. Based on these assumptions the background study of the topic chosen has raised concerns about the potential The Ogoh-Ogoh Bali Collection and obstacles faced in the management of cultural tourism attractions. Types and sources of data used are qualitative, primary and secondary data. Data collection is conducted by observation, interview, documentation, literature study, research instrument in the form of guide lines for the interview. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative data analysis using a matrix approach to the concept of 4A and SWOT analysis. These results indicate that the potential of the Ogoh-Ogoh Bali is quite large, in addition to have a collection that contains the value of history,art and culture, and spiritual, The Ogoh-Ogoh Bali also has a show or attraction called "The Ogoh-Ogoh Dance". Although the potential of theOgoh-Ogoh Bali is quite large, but to date, there are still many experienced constraints that must be resolved.
