This study entitled “The Used of Online Learning Method in Acquiring Children's English Vocabulary at English Buzz Bali”. It focuses on finding out the effectiveness of Online Learning Method in acquiring English vocabulary. This study was test how effective is the use of online learning method to teach children’s English Vocabulary at English Buzz Bali and to know the student perception about their new learning method of study. The research of this study applied field work research that used theories by Revan Revan (1991 in M. Pedlar edition (2011) about theory of action learning and Terry Anderson (2008) about online learning method. This research used teaching and observation technique involving students in the third grade of elementary school. The data in this study were the collected from the result of Pre-test and Post-test of the students of English Buzz Bali using online platform; ZOOM for their teaching and learning process. There were ten children (M= 9) participating in this study and official permission from the school has been obtained to conduct the study. The result of this study shows that, the use of online learning method is quite effective to acquiring English vocabulary for the children during the pandemic Covid-19.  It can be seen from the high percentage score (80,85%) of correct answer from the Post-test of the students who been taught through online platform.  It can be concluded that online learning method is the suggested ways to acquiring children’s English vocabulary during the pandemic Covid-19.

This research was aimed to determine the effectiveness of online instructional material model for EFS courses developed through Moodle for Secretarial Academy (ASTRI) of Budi Luhur students when compared to the existing EFS instructional material. This qualitative research conducted in the second semester of 2007/2008 academic year. Meanwhile the data sources used in this study were respondents consisting of 48 ASTRI Budi Luhur students as well as documents consisting of observation guidelines and post test results. The students were divided into 2 classes, namely BA and BB classes. BA class is treated as an experimental class while BB class is treated as a control class. This experiment was carried out for 7 times fully online learning with synchronous learning method. In analyzing the data collected, the researchers used T-Test to find out the effectiveness of EFS instructional material through Moodle. Based on the results of the post test conducted, EFS instructional material through Moodle had been proven to be able to improve four english skills which include listening, reading, speaking and writing to the students of ASTRI Budi Luhur Jakarta.

Social problems are problems that are deeply rooted in every country, including Indonesia. This problem penetrates into all fields, one of which is education. Plus the COVID-19 pandemic situation has also brought up many new problems in the world of education. The learning that was applied during this pandemic made a new learning transformation from what was originally offline to online. 80% of all parents of SDN Nguling I, II and III state that their children have difficulty understanding the material when learning online. Online School Assistance through SIPUNG is a concrete solution to improve the quality and understanding of student learning during online learning. By using the service learning method, it is proven to be able to improve the quality and understanding of students, students understand the importance of learning and parents are increasingly aware of the importance of providing the best assistance in order to achieve the success of children's education.

Abstract Local wisdom values mean society awareness about their ability in recognizing the surrounding condition.  In this context, the values refer to the Lampungnese custom in planting crop. Unfortunately, many EFL learners were not familiar with their surroundings.  Furthermore, this research describes the used of environmental issue topic in learning Essay writing. The teaching and learning process was done by EFL students by using online platform. It was suggested during the pandemic situation. However, the aim of this research is describing EFL students’ activities in emerging environmental topic toward their essay. This research was done on second semester of essay writing students. It was about 27 students. In conducting the teaching and learning process the lecturers choose any pictures that deal with the local culture of Lampungnese in planting crop as a topic. Then, the students would be more familiar with the values of the culture and elaborate the values in term of essay writing.

Recently, the whole globe was affected by the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), which caused a major disruption in every economy sector as well as the education sector. Most of the education systems in the world shifted to a full online learning method, either conducted in a synchronous or asynchronous method. Thus, making the traditional teaching and learning methods were no longer option of learning method. This reality of online teaching and learning methods by the Malaysian education system, especially the Higher Learning Institution as an alternative teaching method is compulsory throughout the pandemic. This paper evaluates the experience of the students of higher learning institutions in Malaysia with the implementation of online learning during this pandemic.

The new learning system that is published by the Indonesian government as a prevention due to Covid-19 brings a new challenge for the teachers particularly in implementing 21st century learning. Teachers are suggested to do a reflection toward the online learning that has been conducted to find out the teaching and learning process quality. This study is aimed at investigating the level of teachers’ reflective thinking in which it was conducted in SMAN 2 Singaraja. There were two teachers involved in this study and the data were collected through the spreading of questionnaire and interview. The data were analyzed by using interactive data analysis to check the validity and reliability. The results showed that the awareness of the teacher in carrying out a process of reflection on learning during the online learning period. The efforts made by the English teacher at SMA N 2 Singaraja in improving the quality of learning both by discussing and innovating need to be used as an example for other teachers. In the future, of course, it is hoped that a better online learning process and learning objectives can be maximally achieved


Object detection and recognition are the meta-heuristic problems in computer vision. Practically usable dynamic object recognition methods are still unavailable. A new method was proposed which improves over existing methods in every stage. In that addition features like geometric shapes, ellipsis are added. An heuristic codebook was proposed of good generalization and discriminative properties, enabling multipath interferences mechanisms on propagation of1 conditional livelihood. A new learning method also proposed which is capable of online learning

ABSTRACT The purpose of this community service is to improve the ability of teachers to utilize information technology for online learning. The current COVID-19 pandemic has a major impact on education in Indonesia. Under these conditions, there will be a shift in the learning process from what is done in school to learning from home. One of the innovations made by the world of education during this pandemic is online learning. With this program and in the current pandemic conditions, of course SMA Negeri 5 Cimahi inevitably has to do online learning. However, online learning in secondary schools, not all students and teachers use the e-learning system synchronously in the teaching and learning process. The methods used in this service activity are in the form of training, discussions, and simulations conducted through webinars using the Zoom Meeting application. During the training, in addition to provide materials, pre-test and post-test were also given to participants. The training material was a google meet application for online learning. The result of this service activity was an increase in the ability of teachers to utilize information technology in online learning, namely synchronous e-learning using the Google Meet application. Keywords: Information technology, online learning, synchronous e-learning   ABSTRAK Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan para guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk pembelajaran online. Pandemi COVID-19 saat ini berdampak besar pada pendidikan di Indonesia. Dengan kondisi tersebut maka akan terjadi pergeseran proses pembelajaran dari apa yang dilakukan di sekolah menjadi belajar dari rumah. Salah satu inovasi yang dilakukan oleh dunia pendidikan selama pandemi ini adalah pembelajaran online. Dengan adanya program ini dan dalam kondisi pandemi saat ini tentunya SMA Negeri 5 Cimahi mau tidak mau harus melakukan pembelajaran secara online. Namun, pembelajaran online di sekolah menengah, tidak semua siswa dan guru menggunakan sistem e-learning secara sinkron dalam proses belajar mengajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa pelatihan, diskusi, dan simulasi yang dilakukan melalui webinar dengan menggunakan aplikasi Zoom Meeting. Selama pelatihan, selain pemberian materi, juga diberikan pre-test dan post-test kepada peserta. Materi pelatihannya berupa aplikasi google meet untuk pembelajaran online. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dalam pembelajaran online yaitu e-learning sinkron dengan menggunakan aplikasi Google Meet. <p class="0abstract">The complexity of Chinese character caused students facing learning difficulty in mastering the Chinese character writing skills. This study aimed to investigate the effect and students' perception on the implementation of animation in teaching and learning of Chinese character writing based on Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning (AniCC Online Learning) via Frog VLE platform. Meanwhile, the relationship of implementation of AniCC Online Learning and pupil's writing performance was also studied to have further insights into the Chinese character teaching and learning situation. Pre-experimental one group pre-test and post-test design were adopted and thirty three Year 1 students were selected as the respondents in this research which involved four types of instruments. There was a significant different (p = 0.013) between the scores of pre-test and post-test for students' writing performance after performing paired samples t-test. The study also showed an increase in the means scores of students' writing skills and an increase in the percentage of students' writing skills ranking at rank 4 or above although no significant different (p = 0.180) was observed between the pre writing assessment and post writing assessment after Wilcoxon Test was performed. The students overall showed high acceptance towards integration of AniCC Online Learning with overall mean score 0.90 (maximum = 1). In sum, the design of AniCC Online Learning via Frog VLE platform is able to improve writing performance as well as to help students in their writing skills.</p>

The aim of this research is to describe the process of improving the students’ listening skill and vocabulary mastery through contextual teaching and learning (CTL) by using online learning at the eleventh grade of SMAN 1 Sajira. This study also attempts to find out the improvement of the students’ skill in listening and vocabulary mastery through contextual teaching and learning (CTL) by using online learning. The method used in this research was qualitative research method by implementing classroom action research (CAR). This research was conducted in three cycles actions in cycle I, cycle 2 and cycle 3. The result of the research is the use of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) by using online learning can improve the students’ listening skill and vocabulary mastery. The finding of the research are (1) the process of teaching and learning using CTL through online learning is conducted successfully in terms of the feeling of happiness and enthusiasm of the students, (2) there is an improvement of the students’ listening skill from 57.85 in pre-test became 81.11 in post-test. This study proves that English teacher can improve students’ listening and vocabulary mastery by optimizing the use of materials at school, and be creative in selecting, developing, and giving materials at class.

Abstrak: Artikel ini membahas tentang permasalahan yang terjadi dalam pembelajaran tahfidz di TAUD Al-Fatihah dimana metode tabarak yang sebelumnya di gunakan dalam pembelajaran tahfidz bagai anak usia dini di TAUD Al- Fatihah belum mampu untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan pembelajaran dimasa pandemi COVID-19. Sulitnya proses belajar selama pandemi COVID-19 ini membuat TAUD AL-Fatihah perlu mencari metode dan media belajar yang baru. Oleh sesbab itu untuk mempermudah pembelajaran tahfidz di masa pandemi ini diperlukan metode pembelajaran berbasis smart learning. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk membantu TAUD Al-Fatihah dalam menyediakan media pembelajaran yang dinamis dan mempermudah para peserta didik dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an tanpa terganggu oleh kondisi pandemi COVID-19, disamping itu kegiatan ini juga membatu para guru dalam meningkatkan kompetensi IT yang dapat mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran daring selama pandemi COVID-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran tahsin dan tahfidz bagi para peserta didik selama kegiatan off-class. Media pembelajran yang dirancang ini dibuat dalam bentuk modul pintar berbasis multimedia serta video pembelajaran dan evaluasi yang dapat di akses secara offline sehingga tidak membebankan orang tua murid dalam kegiatan pembelajaran anak. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah sebuah media pembelajaran berbentuk modul elektronik serta terdapat peningkatan hasil pelatihan sebesar 21 % nilai rata-rata pre test 57,78 dan Post test 88,52.Abstract: This article discusses the problems that occur in learning tahfidz at TAUD Al-Fatihah where the tabarak method previously used in learning tahfidz like early childhood at TAUD Al-Fatihah has not been able to solve learning problems during the COVID-19 pandemic. The difficulty of the learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic has made TAUD AL-Fatihah need to find new learning methods and media. Therefore, to facilitate the learning of tahfidz in this pandemic, a smart learning-based learning method is needed. The purpose of this service activity is to help TAUD Al-Fatihah in providing dynamic learning media and making it easier for students to memorize the Al-Qur'an without being disturbed by the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, besides that this activity also helps teachers improve competence IT that can support online learning activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this activity is the method of training and mentoring in making tahsin and tahfidz learning media for students during off-class activities. This learning media designed is made in the form of multimedia-based smart modules as well as learning and evaluation videos that can be accessed off line so that it does not burden the parents of students in children's learning activities. The final result of this service activity is a learning media in the form of an electronic module and there is an increase in training results by 21%, the average value of pre-test is 57.78 and Post-test is 88.52.
