Subject. The article investigates trends and prospects for poultry farming development at the regional level. Objectives. The purpose is to study the condition of poultry farming in the region, identify development trends, design mechanisms for government support for poultry farming. Methods. The study employs monographic, abstract-logical, statistical, and analytical methods. Results. In the Republic of Dagestan, the poultry production is concentrated in private farm households. This fact reduces the competitiveness of the sub-sector. The study establishes that there is a significant potential for increasing the production volumes of the industry. The bank capital practically does not participate in the modernization of poultry farming in the region, in part because of unfavorable credit history of most economic entities and insufficient collateral. Against the background of low rates of attracting private investment, there is an urgent need for State support for the industry. Conclusions. We propose a set of reasonable measures to stimulate State support for poultry farming in the region, including through improving the forms and methods of scientific and innovative support, linking the forms of the support with the achievement of established development indicators. The paper determines the need for introducing State support to stimulate the industry’s transfer of industrial basis.

The article analyzes the challenges that have arisen in the health resort industry of the Republic of Crimea with relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. It highlights a set of measures aimed at preventing negative consequences of the current situation and reducing risks. Some tools of Digital Marketing are examined, to help increase the competitiveness of collective accommodation facilities in Crimea. The health resort industry is one of the fields that have been badly affected by the spread of COVID-19. Despite the high demand for collective accommodation facilities in Crimea, after the opening of the 2020 holiday season, several significant problems have arisen in the health resort industry, which are different for different categories of collective accommodation facilities. All collective accommodation facilities in Crimea face several common problems caused by the pandemic: the problem of uncertainty; the possibility of decline in demand due to the opening of foreign resorts; the problem of ensuring the safety of employees and guests; the problem of organizing the leisure of guests; the problem of meeting all the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor (the Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights) with relation to COVID-19; the problem of creating comfortable conditions for vacationers. The success of the 2020 resort season in Crimea will depend on the COVID-19 situation. A large percentage of Russians is not ready to give up rest and tourist trips, which allows us to hope for a demand for tourist services. Crimea’s collective accommodation facilities have to carry out correct marketing policy aimed at winning new and retaining old customers, as well as improving the quality of services provided. The health resort enterprises in the Republic of Crimea need to maintain a balanced pricing policy so that the price of a service corresponds to its quality. It is advisable to load Crimean sanatoriums in part at the expense of budgetary funds. Many health resort enterprises in the Republic of Crimea need state support, which can be provided as tax benefits. State-owned health resorts are in need of budgetary investments aimed at improving their material and technical base. State support for private investment initiatives in the health resort industry is also advisable. The development of the medical base of Crimea’s health resort institutions is really urgent and will contribute to their year-round operation and an increase in their average sales. In the process of creating competitive health resort products, an important role belongs to the complex of marketing activities carried out in the Internet. Effective use of Digital Marketing tools is possible only in combination, to achieve a significant synergistic effect.

The article examines the institutional process in a regional economy connected with the infrastructure development. We use the neoinstitutional approach to study factors that influence the behavior of government and business in their interaction in the economy. We also use statistical methods to analyze the dynamics of socio-economic development indicators of the subjects of the Russian Federation as well as the results of measures to attract private investment into infrastructure, including the PPP. We chose the city of Moscow and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District as two empirical case studies which differ in economic and geographic conditions, but both demonstrate success in attracting private investment and implementing infrastructure projects. Our conclusions are consistent with a theory that asserts the primacy of institutional environment in relation to project implementation. We make also some practical recommendations for the development of the institutional environment which are acceptable for all regions solving similar problems of infrastructure development.

Poultry farming is integral part of agriculture in Nepal. The objective of this research was to analyze the prevailing production constraints, characterization of poultry farming and its economic analysis using questionnaire-based survey and on-site investigation. 180 farms were selected from 3 major districts. Garrett’s ranking technique was used to analyze the constraints.  Highly significant difference (P<0.01) in size of poultry farm was found. We found significant difference in feeding, housing and drinking system for the chicken. Un-organized chicken marketing channel was observed in the study area.   High chicks’ mortality, wastage of feed, insecure vaccination and frequent drop in egg production were characteristic of laying hens. Newcastle disease and Chronic Respiratory Disease were acknowledged as the biggest constraint of chicken production. Government and concerned agencies need to take active part for the extension service to strengthen the health of chicken and organized marketing channel is essential for selling of poultry products  which can improve the profit to the farmers.Int.
