The relationship between banks and customers is based on the two most related elements, namely law and trust. A bank can only carry out activities and develop its bank, if the community "believes" to place its money, on banking products that exist in the bank. The higher the trust of the community, the higher the public's awareness to save money with the bank and to use other banking services. Public trust is the main key to the development or failure of a bank, in the sense that without the trust of the community, then a bank will not be able to carry out its business activities. For business people, banks are the main complement in carrying out daily activities, controlling the entry and exit of funds and achieving success, and are usually in the form of checking accounts. Based on this, the writer wants to examine more deeply the relationship between customers and banks regarding account information, bank rights and customer rights, and is associated with existing regulatory regulations.

This chapter traces the relationship between political authorizing environments, international development organization (IDO) management, and IDO field agents, drawing on the empirics presented in chapters 6 and 7. It digs into the experience of working for USAID as compared to DFID. It also extends the discussion of delegation to implementing contractors and brings this book’s theorizing of Navigation by Judgment into conversation with other foreign aid solutions aimed at incorporating local knowledge, such as establishing country offices or ensuring projects have country ownership. This chapter connects Part II’s empirics more tightly to the mechanisms theorized in Part I , particularly the role of authorizing environment insecurity and the need to “manage up” (Chapter 4) and their implications for the workplace experience of agents (Chapter 3) and the entry and exit of personnel.

Abstract The hippocampus, implicated in learning, memory, and spatial navigation, is one of the few brain structures that demonstrates neurogenesis across the lifespan. Hippocampal volume (HV), then, may be a marker of exposure to and engagement with novel events and environments, which may in turn be related to cognitive functioning. The present study examined the relationship between HV and activity diversity (AD), which characterizes the range and evenness of participation in daily activities. In 52 participants who completed the daily-diary and neuroscience projects of the Midlife in the United States Refresher study, greater levels of AD across an 8-day period were related to greater HV averaged across the left and right hemispheres when adjusting for overall brain volume, total activity time, time between projects, and relevant sociodemographic variables, b=1128mm3, t(43)=2.54, p=.015. These findings may point to a mechanism through which AD has been related to better cognitive and mental health outcomes.

This article aims to contribute to the relationship between accessibility of rural life space and rural livelihood capital and transitions in rural central China. Employing data produced from a household survey, we developed a composite index for accessibility of rural life space incorporating spatial and temporal attributes of a household’s daily activities and then explored the mediation effect of rural livelihood capital and transitions on accessibility. Results revealed a pattern of diversification in terms of life space accessibility undertaken for daily activities across households. Both livelihood capital and transitions had significant mediation effects on the relationship between socio-economic characteristics of rural households and accessibility of rural life space. The effects of livelihood capital on livelihood transitions also influenced the path on rural households’ accessibility of rural life space. One of the implications of this article is to link rural transformation to the context of urbanization and rural access issues from a perspective of daily activity, and then to figure out the best method for rural development policy and service planning.

Ethno-ornithology is the study of the relationship between people and birds. It is a natural scientific approach that explains the relationship between people’s knowledge and the use of birds in their culture. Temuan community is one of the aborigine ethnics in Malaysia. They practice lifestyles that closely associated with nature. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the ethno-ornithology knowledge and practice by Temuan Community lived around the Gunung Ledang National Park, Johor, Malaysia. A set of questionnaires was distributed to 40 respondents from the Temuan community to gather the information of birds used in their daily activities. In addition, the information was also obtained from the interview session with the head of the village (Tok Batin). The identification of the birds obtained from the questionnaire and interview was further confirmed by using reliable resources. A total of 29 bird species was successfully identified. Temuan community used birds in their daily life in many ways such as, food, pet, folklore, entertainment, and many more. Understanding ethno-ornithology between local community and avifauna is good as it helps conservationists to keep track of bird species they use and identify the sustainable ways of this practice that align with the conservation of avifauna species.

Auditing plays a key role in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and corporate governance. Auditing is essential to corporations and society because it is a medium to build a good relationship between corporations and stakeholders. However, a role for auditing in CSR and corporate governance has not been adequately discussed under new corporate view. This paper clarifies the relationship between CSR, corporate governance and auditing, and reexamines a role for auditing in CSR and corporate governance through the discussion of the relationship between corporations and society as recently brought up concerning CSR. <p>This research scrutinizes the relationship between Love of Money (LOM), hedonic behavior and Islamic religiosity in pursuing life satisfaction in consumption. By utilizing accidental sampling method, the research then employed 99 customers who spent their money in one of the biggest department stores in Malang City. The calculation of data with SmartPLS-3.1.8 revealed that Islamic religiosity significantly affects live satisfaction (β = 0.290; ρ-value = 0.003). In the same time, LOM significantly influences hedonic behavior (β = 0.417; ρ-value = 0.000). However, hedonic behavior does not mediate the relationship between LOM and life satisfaction. This study accordingly concludes that Islamic religiosity plays a main role in consumption. Therefore, it is suggested that every Muslim have to instill Islamic religiosity in daily activities for obtaining life satisfaction.     </p><br /><p align="center"><strong><span style="font-size: medium;"> </span></strong></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></p>

In this study, it was aimed to put forward the perception differences of banks, one of the most important tool of the capital market which is a political tool to develop financial improvement on owners and managers of firms. The data was collected by means of face to face meetings with the managers of 520 companies from manufacturing, trading and service sectors, randomly selected from Adana, Mersin and Gaziantep provinces. The relationship between the perception of banking services and the number of monthly transactions and provinces with the banks with which their firms have business activities was studied by analyzing the collected data and doing the frequency, percentage and ANOVA tests. According to the results of the analysis, even though there was no difference in terms of sectors, there was seen an important difference in terms of the number of monthly transactions and provinces. The satisfaction of different products and services for the firms having relatively fewer number of monthly transactions is also crucial today, when the customer satisfaction is of great importance.

Hemophilia is a hereditary bleeding disorder due to clotting factors deficiency. Its clinical manifestations including spontaneous and recurrent joints and muscle bleeding. Thus, hemophilia can limit the patients’ daily activities. This study aims to assess the relationship of hemophilia A severity on daily activities and the Hemophilia Activities List (HAL). The research subjects were thirty men with hemophilia A aged 18 years old or older who went to the Hematology-Oncology Clinic of Dr. Moewardi General Hospital during February - September 2020. Standardized seven aspects of routine activities with high-risk for bleeding event were assessed using the HAL questionnaire including lying down/ sitting/ kneeling/ standing, functions of the legs, functions of the arms, use of transportation, self-care, household tasks, leisure activities and sports. Based on the frequency of activity difficulty due to hemophilia A, each average score of HAL aspect was categorized into never (100% - 76%); rarely (75% - 51%), sometimes (50% - 26%), and impossible (25% - 0%). Based on Factor VIII level, hemophilia A severity was categorized into mild, moderate, and severe. Spearman’s correlation test was used for statistical analysis. The result showed significant correlation (p &lt; 0.05) on five aspects, including lying down/ sitting/ kneeling/ standing, functions of the legs, use of transportation, self-care, and household tasks. The aspects of arms functions and leisure sports activities were not significantly correlated (p &gt; 0.05). Nevertheless, these two aspects showed positive sufficient (r = 0.330) and weak (r = 0.177) correlation respectively. Joint and muscle bleeding are an undeniable pathological event in hemophilia patients. Hemophilia A severity positively correlates with the bleeding event frequency in the essential routine musculoskeletal activities. According to the HAL questionnaire, it needs to be a concern for clinicians and patient education to prevent bleeding in any high-risk musculoskeletal activities.

This paper is an application of a variation of American Customer Satisfaction index model in the context of Moroccan banking sector. We specifically chose mobile banking and added a variable that is the service recommendation factor, the results of our work have proved that the hypotheses proposed by our model are validated except the relationship between the perceived quality and customer satisfaction and which can be explained by the indirect relationship through the perceived value.
