The aims of the study is to determine whether there is a role for emotional regulation, self-control, and self-acceptance of students' aggressive behavior at SMP X and Y in Yogyakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression analysis. This study uses four scales, namely a scale of emotional regulation, self-control, self-acceptance, and a scale of aggressive behavior. The subjects of this study were 140, consisting of 70 junior high school students at each school X and Y in Yogyakarta. The results of this study have a very significant relationship between the variables of emotional regulation, self-control, and self-acceptance of aggressive behavior in students of SMP X and Y in Yogyakarta. This is indicated by the obtained value of F = 13.924 with p = 0.000 (p <0.01). The R square is 0.235 which if proxied (0.235 x 100% = 23.5%) means that the contribution of emotional regulation, self-control and self-acceptance to aggressive behavior is significant. 23.5%, the remaining 76.5% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. In partial correlation, it shows that the four proposed hypotheses are accepted. There is a very significant relationship between emotional regulation, self-control and self-acceptance of the aggressive behavior of students of SMP X and Y in Yogyakarta, so that the hypothesis can be accepted. The higher the emotional regulation, self-control and self-acceptance, the lower the aggressive behavior, conversely the lower the emotional regulation, self-control and self-acceptance, the higher the aggressive behavior. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada peranan regulasi emosi, Kontrol diri, dan penerimaan diri terhadap perilaku agresif Siswa di SMP X dan Y di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Penelitian ini menggunakan empat skala yaitu skala regulasi emosi, skala kontrol diri, skala penerimaan diri, dan skala perilaku agresif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 140, terdiri dari 70 siswa SMP pada masing-masing sekolah X dan Y di Yogyakarta. Hasil dari penelitian ini terdapat hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara variabel regulasi emosi, kontrol diri, dan penerimaan diri terhadap perilaku agresif pada siswa SMP X  dan Y di Yogyakarta. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan diperoleh nilai F = 13,924 dengan p = 0,000 (p<0,01). R square sebesar 0,235 yang apabila diprosentasekan (0,235 x 100% = 23,5%) artinya besar sumbangan regulasi emosi, kontrol diri, dan penerimaan diri terhadap perilaku agresif sebesar 23,5%, sisanya 76,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Dalam korelasi secara parsial menunjukan ke empat hipotesis yang diajukan dinyatakan diterima. Terdapat hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara regulasi emosi, kontrol diri dan penerimaan diri terhadap perilaku agresif siswa SMP X dan Y di Yogyakarta, sehingga hipotesis dapat diterima. Semakin tinggi regulasi emosi, kontrol diri dan penerimaan diri, maka semakin rendah perilaku agresif, sebaliknya semakin rendah regulasi emosi, kontrol diri dan penerimaan diri, maka semakin tinggi perilaku agresif.

This study aims to determine the significance of the relationship between watching the violence shown on television with aggressive behavior of junior high school students in Salatiga. The hypothesis put forward is that there is a significant relationship between watching television violence shows with aggressive behavior of junior high school students in Salatiga. The study was conducted in one of the junior high schools in Salatiga. Sampling technique in this research using stratified random sampling technique. The questionnaire used was a questionnaire of aggressive behavior of teenagers and questionnaires watching the violence on television. The analytical method used is Kendall's tau correlation technique. Based on the data analysis obtained correlation value 0.811 with a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.05). These results indicate that there is a significant relationship between watching the violence shown on television and the aggressive behavior of junior high school students in Salatiga. The higher the students watch the violence on television, the higher the aggressive behavior. Thus the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konformitas teman sebaya dan intensitas menonton sinetron bertema kekerasan dengan perilaku agresif siswa. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 62 siswa SMA SI Kota Jambi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala konformitas teman sebaya, skala intensitas menonton sinetron bertema kekerasan dan skala perilaku agresi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi product moment dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif antara konformitas teman sebaya dengan perilaku agresi pada pelajar. Ada hubungan positif antara intensitas menonton sinetron bertema kekerasan dengan perilaku agresi pada pelajar. Secara bersama-sama ada hubungan positif antara konformitas teman sebaya dan intensitas menonton sinetron bertema kekerasan dengan perilaku agresi pada pelajar. Sumbangan efektif dari konformitas teman sebaya dan intensitas menonton sinetron bertema kekerasan dengan perilaku agresi pelajar sebesar 21,7 %, sedangkan sumbangan variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini sebesar 78,3%. Variabel lain yang tidak diikutsertakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain pengaruh lingkungan sosial, pengaruh budaya, pengaruh keluarga, pengaruh pengalaman individu, dan pengaruh kepercayaan diri.RELATIONSHIP OF PEER CONFORMITY AND INTENSITY OF WATCHING THE VIOLENT SOAP OPERAS WITH STUDENTS’ AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIORThis study aims to determine the relationship of peer conformity and intensity of watching violence theme soap operas with student aggression behavior. The research samples consisted of 62 SI high school students in Jambi City. Data collection process made use of peer conformity scale, intensity scale of watching soap operas with violence themes, and aggressive behavior scale. The data were then analyzed by using the product moment correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results revealed that there was a positive correlation between peer conformity and students’ aggressive behavior with a correlation coefficient value of ¬0.278 (p <0.05). There was a positive relationship between the intensity of watching violence theme soap operas with the students’ aggressive behavior with a correlation coefficient of 0.401 (p <0.05). Together there was a positive correlation between peer conformity and intensity of watching violence theme soap operas with the students’ aggressive behavior based on an R value of 0.466 (p <0.05). The effective contribution of the peer conformity and the intensity of watching the opera with the students’ aggressive behavior was 21.7%, while the extraneous variables contributed to 78.3%. The extraneous variables included the influence of the social environment, cultural influences, family influences, the influence of individual experiences, and the influence of self-confidence.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara  konformitas teman sebaya dan intensitas menonton sinetron bertema kekerasan dengan perilaku agresi pelajar. Sumbangan efektif dari konformitas teman sebaya dan intensitas menonton sinetron bertema kekerasan dengan perilaku agresi pelajar sebesar 21,7 %, sedangkan sumbangan variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini sebesar 78,3%. This study aims at answering the questions what causes many junior high school students fall into drug abuse, and what kind of treatment  must be done so that students have self-control and are not subject to drug abuse. This study employed a phenomenological approach of a qualitative research design.  In this study a semi-structured interview is used to understand how participants experienced the phenomenon. The research revealed that the interpersonal communication has a major role in students' self-control so as not to fall into drug abuse. This study contributes significantly to educational field particularly teachers in secondary schools so that it can be used as a reference to provide counseling to parents about the importance of interpersonal communication to build students’ self-control to prevent teens from falling into drug abuse.

The learning process has a benchmark that refers to the achievements experienced by students, namely learning outcomes. Learning outcomes achieved by students have two influencing factors namely internal and external factors. These two factors that influence learning outcomes are interest and learning difficulties. The results of observations on the learning outcomes of students of SMPN 11 Padang in science are still low. Students say that science learning are numerous and difficult. The existence of students who score below the average and the lack of student interest shows the student's interest in learning in science is less and it can be assumed that students have difficulty learning science. Research is a descriptive study. Research uses a correlational study approach. Research subjects consisted of 30 people in class VIII G of SMP 11 Padang. To find out the relationship between variables expressed by the correlation coefficient, data analysis techniques are used using the Sperman Rank correlation. The correlation between student interest and learning outcomes is weak, that is -0.32, the contribution of 10.24% does not have a significant relationship. There is a significant relationship between learning difficulties and learning outcomes, medium criteria w ith a value of 0.59, contribution value is 34.81%. Correlation criteria for interests and difficulties with strong learning outcomes with a value of 0.66 and a contribution of 43.56%, as well as a significant relationship between variables. The results of the relationship between learning interest and learning difficulties with learning outcomes are strong and each variable has a significantly relationship.

Abstract Background High aggressive behavior will harm the physical and mental health of children, and the probability of aggressive behaviors among left-behind junior high school students is significantly higher than that of non-left-behind ones, but the systematic research and intervention measures concerning the aggressive behavior of the left-behind junior high school students quite deficient at present. This study adopts the structural equation model to analyze the interrelationship and action modes of various factors affecting the aggressive behavior of the left-behind junior high school students to provide scientific basis for the mitigation and prevention of their aggressive behavior. Methods A structural equation model was constructed based on data from a cross-sectional survey of 751 left-behind junior high school students using Adolescent Self-rating Life Events Checklist, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Resilience Scale for Chinese Adolescents, Coping Style Questionnaire, and Buss-Warren Aggression Questionnaire. Results Self-esteem, resilience, positive coping, negative coping and household income have different direct or indirect effects on the aggressive behavior of left-behind junior high school students. Among them, self-esteem, resilience, positive coping and negative coping are the important mediating factors between life events and aggressive behavior of left-behind junior high school students. Conclusions Parents, teachers and temporary guardians in the care of left-behind children should try to avoid possible adverse effects that the life events have on the children, meanwhile should also through effective psychological intervention and social support, improving the self-esteem, psychological resilience and positive coping tendencies of left-behind children, in order to reduce or prevent their aggressive behaviors.

<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> Self-control helps junior high school students behave positively towards themselves and others. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the use of local wisdom in the <em>cublak-cublak suweng</em> game to the junior high school student self-control training. The research subjects were 8 junior high school students in Malang City using one group pretest-posttest design. Measurements used the Self-Control Scale and were analyzed by the Wilcoxon test and paired t-test. The results showed a significant difference in the improvement of junior high school students' self-control. Positive values of the <em>cublak-cublak suweng</em> game are internalized so that they can improve the management of their thoughts, emotions, and behavior. The suggestion given is more extensive testing of the same student characteristics.</p><strong>Abstrak:<em> </em></strong>Kontrol diri membantu siswa SMP berperilaku positif terhadap diri sendiri dan orang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan penggunaan kearifan lokal permainan cublak-cublak suweng terhadap pelatihan kontrol diri siswa SMP. Subjek penelitian adalah delapan siswa SMP di Kota Malang dengan menggunakan rancangan <em>one group pretest-posttest design</em>. Pengukuran menggunakan Skala Kontrol Diri dan dianalisis dengan uji <em>Wilcoxon</em> dan <em>paired t-test</em>. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan pada peningkatan kontrol diri siswa SMP. Nilai-nilai positif permainan cublak-cublak suweng diinternalisasikan agar dapat meningkatkan pengelolaan pikiran, emosi, dan perilakunya. Saran yang diberikan adalah pengujian lebih luas terhadap karakteristik siswa yang sama.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to gain insights into empathy, cyberbullying, and cybervictimization among Filipino adolescents.Methods: The participants were 168 junior high school students in the 7th to 10th grades at a public high school in Cavite Province, Philippines. Data were collected on demographic characteristics, the Basic Empathy Scale, and Revised Cyber Bullying Inventory-II scores. The data were analyzed in SPSS using descriptive statistics (frequency and mean), the independent t-test, bivariate correlation, and one-way analysis of variance.Results: The degree of empathy did not show a statistically significant relationship with cyberbullying (r=-.07, <i>p</i>=.359) but did show a significant relationship with cybervictimization (r=.18, <i>p</i>=.025). Furthermore, cyberbullying had a statistically significant association with cybervictimization (r=.60, <i>p</i><.001).Conclusion: Although empathy does not necessarily affect cyberbullying, higher levels of empathy were found among cyberbullying victims. However, an alarming result of this study is the possibility that victims may become cyberbullies. Therefore, we should highlight empathy as part of efforts to prevent cyberbullying and to solve various cyber-related problems. Since cyberbullying and cybervictimization are closely related, it is important to focus on this relationship and to make multilateral efforts to ensure that cyberbullying does not lead to other negative issues.

Adolescence is a time when someone has negative behavior, a difficult phase for children and parents. Emotional imbalance and instability in many ways manifest itself at this time. Emotional inconsistency in adolescents causes adolescents to act responsively such as aggressive, rebellious, stubborn, annoying behavior, which results in social problems in interacting with those around them. The aggressive behavior of students in schools has become a universal problem, and is likely to increase recently. The purpose of this study was to see the application of group counseling to decrease the aggressive behavior of high school students. Another objective of the study is to examine the differences in the application of group counseling before and after treatment. Purposive sampling and aggressive scales were used in this experiment, to obtain 20 samples consisting of 10 students in the control group and 10 students in the experimental group at SMP Negeri 13 Surabaya who were recorded as having committed aggression at school. The rule used is a quantitative approach to analyzing data. The results of the field survey showed that students often protested and disrespected teachers, cursed, cursed, made chaos, made noise, said indecent words, and lied. By utilizing group dynamics, the authors provide group counseling interventions to reduce students' aggressive behavior. From the results of the study, it is proven that group counseling has an effect on decreasing aggressive behavior of junior high school students.

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of variables of entrepreneurship motivation and family environment on student entrepreneur interest. (Case Study In High School Students Social Sciences And Political Sciences Nurdin Hamzah Jambi) The population in this study is a student of the College of Social and Political Science Nurdin Hamzah Jambi with 70 respondents. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires. Analyzer used in this research that is, test instrument consist of test of validity and reliability test, multiple linear regression analysis, f test and t test and coefficient of determination test. The overall analysis was calculated using the SPSS ver 22 program. The results of this study indicate that the motivation of entrepreneurship and family environment has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneur interest.
