The use of various applications such as ZOOM, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meets has become familiar to students and teachers thanks to their functionality. It is not widely known that there is one other application that has the same function, that is Discord. With the COVID-19 pandemic situation and the existence of this Discord application, a problem formulation emerged, namely How to use the Discord application as a learning medium for the COVID-19 pandemic era and whether the Discord application as a new innovation is suitable for use as an online learning medium in the COVID-19 pandemic era. The theoretical basis used in this research is the theory of learning media, the use of applications as learning media, social media theory and diffusion of innovation. The approach used in this research is qualitative research. The research method used is a case study. The data collection method used to collect the information needed in this study is to use semi-structured interviews and documentation. The data processing and analysis techniques used in this study were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. To test the validity of the data obtained, this study uses triangulation techniques by utilizing other data for comparison and data checking. The result of this research is that Discord is an ideal new innovation and has great potential as a learning medium in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic.Penggunaan berbagai aplikasi seperti ZOOM, Microsoft Teams, dan Google Meets sudah menjadi tidak asing lagi bagi siswa dan pengajar berkat fungsionalitas mereka. Tidak banyak diketahui ada satu aplikasi lain yang memiliki fungsi yang sama, aplikasi tersebut adalah Discord. Dengan situasi pandemi COVID-19 dan beserta keberadaan aplikasi Discord ini, muncul suatu rumusan masalah yakni Bagaimana penggunaan aplikasi Discord sebagai media pembelajaran era pandemi COVID-19 dan Apakah aplikasi Discord sebagai inovasi baru layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran online pada era pandemi COVID-19. Landasan Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitain ini adalah teori media pembelajaran, penggunaan aplikasi sebagai media pembelajaran, teori sosial media dan difusi inovasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan informasi yang dibutuhkan penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan wawancara semiterstruktur dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk menguji keabsahan data yang didapat penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi dengan memanfaatkan data lain untuk perbandingan dan pengecekan data. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Discord merupakan inovasi baru yang ideal dan memiliki potensi besar sebagai media pembelajaran di era pandemi COVID-19.

Theatre is one of the art performances that people from various circles are interested in. Theatre has become an extra-curricular activity or curriculum in various schools and campuses. This theatre game is played by actors who play characters according to the script given by the director. Communication becomes a factor in playing theatre, one of which is expression. Actors not only use expressions only to complement dialogue but also as a form of dialogue itself. Then a problem formulation appears, namely how to communicate expressions in theatre plays by theatre actors. This study aims to determine how theatre actors communicate expression in theatre plays. The theory used in this research is the cumulative structure theory. The approach used in this research is qualitative research. The research method used in this research is a case study using data collection methods in the form of interviews and observations. Data processing and analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The result of this research is the communication of expression is carried out by theatre actors by conveying a meaning and honesty from within. The delivery of this meaning is carried out with facial expressions and body movements. Forms of communication expression are facial expressions, gestures, and voices.Teater merupakan salah satu pertunjukan seni yang diminati oleh masyarakat dari berbagai kalangan. Teaterpun menjadi kegiatan extra kulikuler atau kurikulum diberbagai sekolah dan kampus. Permainan teater ini dimainkan oleh para aktor yang memerankan karakter sesuai dengan naskah yang diberikan oleh sutradara. Komunikasi menjadi salah satu faktor dalam bermain teater salah satunya adalah ekspresi. Para aktor tidak hanya menggunakan ekspresi hanya untuk pelengkap dialog tapi juga sebagai bentuk dari dialog itu sendiri. Maka muncul suatu rumusan masalah yakni bagaimana komunikasi ekspresi dalam permainan teater oleh aktor teater. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana aktor teater melakukan komunikasi ekspresi dalam permainan teater. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori struktur Kumulatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan observasi. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, mengambil kesimpulan dan Verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah komunikasi ekspresi dilakukan oleh aktor teater dengan menyampaikan sebuah makna dan jujur dari dalam diri. Penyampaian makna ini dilakukan dengan ekspresi wajah dan gerakan tubuh. bentuk dari komunikasi ekspresi merupakan ekspresi wajah, gerak tubuh, dan suara.

  Analysis of the amount of financing the hajj bailout for the cost of the pilgrimage (Case Study of Bank Sumut Syariah Sub-Branch Stabat).Asmawarna Sinaga and Anjur Perkasa Alam. Hajj financing is a loan from a sharia bank to customers to cover the shortage of funds to obtain a seat (seat) Hajj at the time of repayment BPIH (Hajj Travel Expenses). This financing product uses the Qardh Wal Ijarah principle. The purpose of this research is to know the view of Islamic law against financing of Hajj bailout fund and to know the view of Islamic law about ujrah fee on akad of bailout fund of Hajj. This research is field research. The definition of the Hajj bailout is a bailout fund from a bank to a special customer to cover kekurangandana to cover the lack of funds to obtain a portion number at the time to pay the cost of organizing the pilgrimage. The research design uses a qualitative approach with non-statistical analysis While the data analysis techniques use content analysis and interactive methods consisting of data reduction, data collection, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this study note that the akad bailout funds in Islamic banks contain multi-akad, where the contract used qardh and ijarah is allowed. While the view of Islamic law regarding the taking of ujrah fee on hajj bailout fund is not in accordance with sharia due to the percentage of ujrah fee based on qardh fund.

The Family Hope Program (PKH) is one of government policy programs in poverty alleviation by involving the main actor who called PPKH. This study aimed to describe the task and function of PPKH in empowering the sick society in Bone Regency. Qualitative approach used with case study research. Data collection techniques used was interviews, observation, and documentation. The instrument in this study was the researcher himself as a human instrument, while the informants selected by a purposive method. Data analysis techniques used an interactive model includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusion. The results of the study showed that PPKH has carried out their roles well as representatives and technicians but have not been optimal in their roles as facilitators and educators.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi guru meningkatkan kepedulian peserta didik terhadap korban bullying yang bersekolah di SD Kecamatan Bumiayu Kabupaten Brebes. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber penelitian ini adalah guru kelas SD Negeri Kecamatan Bumiayu, Kabupaten Brebes Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa strategi guru meningkatkan kepedulian peserta didik terhadap korban bullying SD di Kecamatan Bumiayu Kabupaten Brebes adalah sebagai berikut: memotivasi, menasehati, bimbingan secara kelompok dan individu, melakukan tindakan pengawasan, memberi peringatan dan hukuman, menjadi tokoh teladan atau panutan, kerjasama dengan orangtua, kerja kelompok, memberikan penghargaan, memasang slogan dan tata tertib di kelas. Kata Kunci: kepedulian, peserta didik, strategi guru ABSTRACT The study aims to find out how the strategy of teacher to improve the careness of learness about bullying victims in the 4th grade SD di Kecamatan Bumiayu Kabupaten Brebes. This type of this research is qualitative research with case study approach. The source of this research is the teacher of 4th grade Elementary School Bumiayu District, Brebes Regency, in the 2016/2017 school year. Technique of data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of the study indicate that the teacher’s strategy to improve students’ careness of the 4th grade bullying victims SD di Kecamatan Bumiayu Kabupaten Brebes as follows: motivating, counseling, grup and individual guidance, taking surveillance, giving warning and punishment, beaing a role model, working withparents, groups, rewarding, show of slogans and order in the classroom. Abstract This research was conducted with the aim of describing the childcare methods carried out by three early marriage families in Ponjong District, Gunungkidul Regency. The background of this research is the existence of government policy in Law Number 1 of 1974 article 7 paragraph (1) concerning Marriage which explains the minimum age limit for marriage so that the benefit of the household is achieved, but the phenomenon of early marriage is still happening in the District of Ponjong Regency Gunungkidul, even able to maintain the household and be able to carry out childcare duties at a young age if reviewed psychologically immature mentally, emotionally, psychologically and physically. This type of research is a qualitative research with a type of case study research (field research). Determination of informants by purposive sampling. The subjects of this study were three families of early marriage, children of early marriage partners (if they were able to provide information) and the Young Clerk of the Wonosari Religious Court Law. Then, the object of research is the method of parenting early marriage partners. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion making. The results showed that the methods carried out by early marriage couples included exemplary education methods, methods through habituation, education methods through advice and dialogue, as well as education methods through the awarding and punishment. The three early marriage families apply a number of collaborative methods for parenting. Keywords: childcare methods, early marriage.

Abstact: Management of an Islamic boarding school institution in an effort to empower santri needs to hold conceptual and strategic operational efforts so as to be able to prepare qualified human resources who are ready to compete in the era of globalization which is full of competence. This study examines the strategies of madrasa headmasters in improving the quality of Islamic Education and the facilitating and hindering factors as well as the solutions of the headmaster's strategies in improving the quality of Islamic Education in Madrasah Tsanawiyah. This study used descriptive qualitative and research design using a case study approach. The data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques through data reduction analysis, data presentation, and data verification which ended with checking the validity of the data. The results showed that: 1) The strategy employed by the madrasah headmaster in improving the quality of Islamic Education begins with an analysis of the internal and external environment of the madrasa which includes strengths and weaknesses, as well as the threats and opportunities. Head of Madrasah TsanawiyahAlkhairaatSibalaya always builds harmony in the organization, for example, being able to place personnel appropriately and influence his subordinates in human relationships which are covered by authority situations, enforce discipline to all madrasa personnel, and empower teachers to improve their competency and evaluate by involving relevant and professional related parties.2) The supporting factors are harmonious cooperation with subordinates as well as the conducive and comfortable situation and conditions of the madrasa. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors are the lack of teachers' discipline and lack of community response to send their children to madrasas.

<p>The purpose of this study was to investigate how policy intentions of the curriculum were received and practiced by teachers and to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation process. The study probed three levels of an implementation process of an Outcomes-Based English Education curriculum in two urban secondary schools in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. The specific focus of implementation was on: the initial introduction process, teachers’ beliefs and attitudes, and classroom practices. This research was an exploratory one using focus group discussions, structured interviews, participant observations, and document analysis. A case study method was used; two qualitative studies situated within the constructivist and symbolic interactionism paradigms were used to probe alignment of policy with practice using the diffusion of innovation theoretical lenses. Content, discourse, and document analyses were used to give interpretations to themes resonating with the research focus; these themes were derived both deductively and inductively from data. Findings revealed that the curriculum change was challenging as policy expectations failed to align with practices. There were little shared meanings between teachers’ views and classroom practices; this lack of connection contradicted policy intentions. There also appeared to be no connection by policy makers of the inbuilt tensions inherent in the outcomes-based model of education adopted for PNG. In relation to this, findings from this study revealed the need for collaborative professional development if policy is to be aligned with practice. Hence, this study offers a working tool called a Kibung PD framework as a priority for curriculum implementation at the classroom level.</p>

Multiple models exist for understanding and predicting the adoption of technological innovations including SAMR, TPACK, and ADDIE. The authors have found these models are generally static, thus discounting the inherently iterative nature of adopting technological innovations. To address this gap, the authors have proposed a new model called Fusion+SNA which combines the dynamic nature of activity theory and diffusion of innovation research with an in-depth understanding of social networks. The authors employ the Fusion+SNA model in a case study that reported on a real attempt at an adoption of technological innovation in a K-12 context with a cohort of fifth-grade students and their teachers.

Purpose This paper aims to explore FinTech and its dynamic transitions in the banking industry. In particular, the study analyses the systemic innovation nature of FinTech-based innovations. The main contribution of this research study is the development of systemic innovation model which can be used as a dynamic tool to track the progress and pattern of technology development and diffusion. The research also discusses the latest financial innovation of PromptPay FinTech – the e-payment system in Thailand. Design/methodology/approach This research uses the case study approach to analyse the systemic innovation characteristics of FinTech-based innovations. This research offers a new systemic innovation model which is developed and can be used as a dynamic tool to track the progress and pattern of technology development and diffusion. The study uses FinTech-based innovations as case study samples to gain a better understanding concerning the systemic characteristics and the pattern of technology diffusion under the analytical framework of systemic innovation model. This research involves qualitative interviews with five major commercial banks in the financial services industry of Thailand. Findings The analyses of findings show the systemic characteristics of FinTech-based innovations in the banking industry, both at a global scale and Thailand case. The analyses have shown that systemic characteristics of the innovation process are the outcome of interactions between the complexity of the innovation and the capabilities of innovators in managing the innovation. The insightful implications on the systemic nature of innovation give the trend and direction of FinTech-based innovation development in the banking industry. Originality/value The main contribution which shows originality and value of this paper is the development of systemic innovation model. This research study develops a systemic innovation model to analyse the systemic characteristics which can be applied to all innovations in any industry. The model can also help track the progress and pattern of technology development and diffusion. Therefore, the model can be used to project the trend and diffusion of innovation competition in the banking industry.
