Low learning motivation is very influential on school achievement. Motivation is a factor for students because it can support the spirit of learning. The benefits of learning motivation are very much like enthusiasm in completing schoolwork, student achievement increases, and fosters confidence. This study aims to determine counseling guindance services in learning motivation for students of SMK N 3 Kasihan Bantul. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this study resulted in the services provided by BK teacher including all students both students with special needs or not, because the scholl of SMK N Kasihan accepts students with special needss, there are 4 classifications of children with special needs in SMK N Kasihan namely slow learners, autistic, deaf, tunadaksa. The counseling guidance for students of SMK N 3 Kasihan is first, at the beginning of the semester the guidance teacher chooses and sorts and looks for students who have decreased learning, can be seen from the daily grades or report cards. Second, provide special hours when there are empty subjects because the teacher does not have special hours to enter the class because there are too many subjects that require a lot of time such as the practice of drawing, painting and photographing. Third, BK teachers work together with the homeroom teacher or other teachers to find out the problems experienced by students.whereas counseling guindance service at SMK N 3 Kasihan, BK teacher guidance service condacted by BK teacher are orientation services, information service, indicidual counseling services, group guidance services, and group counseling services.

The writers  describes the concept of SFBC (Solution Focused Brief Counseling) throught Al-Qur'an perspective. This approach is grounded on the positive assumption that people are healty and competent. People have the ability to construct solutions that enhance their lives.   This study uses literature studies, by collecting data and information about SFBC. The result of the studi  explain that the concept of SFBC was supported by education carried out. The education will be construct the mindset of the people to make a changes in their lives. SFBC its essence lies in the counseling phase focused on solutions to solve their problem. If the people can believed their capability to solve their problem, so that will be posible. This article discusses the self-control of adolescents who memorize the Koran at the Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Modern Islamic Boarding School 2 Yogyakarta. The research method used is a qualitative method of phenomenological approach through interviews with two subjects. The results of the study indicate that good self-control is very necessary for Al-Quran memorizing santri especially for teenagers who have many challenges. Challenges faced by the santri at the Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) 2 Yogyakarta Modern Islamic Boarding School, such as the influence of immorality and listening to music that is not Islamic in nature, can be overcome by cultivating self-motivation about the benefits of memorizing the Koran, repeating memorization, routinely listen to and read the Koran.Keywords: Self Control, Youth, Al-Quran

Depression is the one global significant problem in the world. The prevalence of depression in Indonesia is higher than the prevalence in other countries. The risk of first developing depression increase in late adolescence and early adulthood, eventualy peaking in the middle age range (age 45-55). Empathic love therapy emphasizes on how individuals accept and love all aspects of him/herself.  This research  aimed to test the effectivity of empathic love in decreasing depression. This therapy was applied to 3 clients, who pass the inclusive criteria for selected participant, in 8 sessions of individual setting therapy. Clients was selected using Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II). BDI-II was given before and after therapy, and one in the follow up session after therapy. BDI-II showed significant decrease in 3 clients depression from mild to normal in the end of therapy. Narrative analysis of conversation transcript showed decreases level of depression. The conclusion is empathic love therapy can decreas level of depression. Further research is needed to be held to find out effective contribution of therapy techniques to its succes and therapy’s reliability.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap dinamika psikologis lansia yang tinggal di panti jompo dan implikasinya bagi layanan konseling Islam. Kajian teoritik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi konsep lansia, esensi panti jompo, serta tujuan dan fungsi layanan konseling Islam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif fenomenologis untuk mendapatkan gambaran secara menyeluruh terkait dinamika psikologis lansia yang tinggal di panti jompo dan bagaimana implikasinya bagi layanan konseling Islam. Karakteristik lansia yang diteliti adalah berusia 60 tahun ke atas dan dapat berkomunikasi secara baik serta tidak ada gangguan pendengaran. Partisipan dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu dipilih sesuai dengan kebutuhan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini adalah penerima manfaat dari aspek PGOT, psikososial, disharmoi keluarga atau sebatang kara, mengamali peningkatan perkembangan psikologis, khususnya pada aspek spiritual setelah mengikuti program di panti sosial.

Masyarakat 5.0 akan mengarahkan penggunaan teknologi 4.0 yang berpusat kepada manusia sehingga kehidupan manusia menjadi lebih makmur dan bermakna. Untuk itu, diperlukan pemahaman tentang diri. Diri termasuk sesuatu yang paling penting dan mendasar dalam kajian psikologi; karena mengungkap bagaimana individu berpikir dan berperilaku dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangan  konsep diri ideal santri putri dari  Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Sukorejo Situbondo. Metode pendekatan service-learning (SL); yang bertitik tolak dari aplikasi ilmu pengetahuan yang dipelajari di dalam kelas untuk diterapkan dalam dunia nyata dan dirancang bersama komunitas santri. Hasil: pengembangan konsep diri ideal santri adalah sebagai generasi khaira ummah yang berkarakter ”Pelopor” (pemimpin di jalan Allah dan pemimpin bersama umat untuk membangun peradaban). Untuk mengimplementasi generasi khaira ummah, santri mengembangkan skema diri yaitu bagaimana santri berpikir tentang kualitas personalnya yang menyeimbangkan kualitas keterampilan (shalahiyyah) dengan integritas (shalih). Di antaranya: alim (menguasai dan mengamalkan ilmu); jujur dan giat (as-shidq); kasih sayang (rahmah); mampu mengendalikan diri (wara, zuhud, dan sabar); sederhana dan bersahaja (qonaah, ridha, dan ikhlas); tawadhu’ dan wawas diri (jaga penampilan, ucapan, dan hati); dan komunikatif. Self-concept santri yang bermuatan ibadah dan membangun peradaban, termasuk memikirkan perekonomian umat; sejalan dengan developmental self-concept theory.

ABSTRACTThis article is entitled: The Effect of the Tariqah Syattariyyah Remembrance in the Formation of Santri Personality in the Ar-Ramly Islamic Boarding School Giriloyo Wukirsari Imogiri Bantul. The background of this study departs from the assumption that personality formation is not only through formal education but through the management of the heart. Through remembrance specifically able to guide a dirty and sick heart clean and healthy again. Ar-Ramly Islamic Boarding School is one of the Islamic boarding schools in the archipelago that has educational programs to form students who have good personalities by Islamic teachings. This study aims to reveal the effect of Tariqah Syattariyyah Remembrance in the Formation of Santri Personality in the Ar-Ramly Islamic Boarding School Giriloyo Wukirsari Imogiri Bantul. This study uses a qualitative approach using the field as an object and library source as supporting data. Data can be used using interview methods for caretakers of the Ar-Ramly Islamic Boarding School, students and the community around the cottage. The results of this study, first, under the leadership of KH. Ahmad Zabidi until now, the Tariqa Syattariyyah experienced a development starting with the bookkeeping of the practice book, the more widespread place of the daily practice of the Syattariyyah Congregation and the convening of the alumni observers of the Tariqa Syattariyyah in the Ar-Ramly Islamic Boarding School. Secondly, the implementation of the Tariqa Syattariyyah practice activities by the students of the Ar-Ramly Islamic Boarding School in forming good behavior results in a good relationship between fellow students and the surrounding community because of the realization of morals to God. The religious activities program will help the students in forming good personalities to establish harmony in mingling with the boarding school environment, family, and in the community. Keywords: Remembrance/ Zikir, Tariqa Syattariyyah, Personality  ABSTRAKArtikel ini berjudul: Pengaruh Zikir Tarekat Syattariyyah dalam Pembentukan Kepribadian Santri di Pondok Pesantren Ar-Ramly Giriloyo Wukirsari Imogiri Bantul. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari asumsi bahwa pembentukan kepribadian tidak hanya melalui pendidikan formal saja, melainkan melalui pengelolaan hati. Melalui zikir secara khusus mampu membimbing hati yang kotor dan sakit kembali bersih dan sehat. Pondok Pesantren Ar-Ramly merupakan salah satu pondok pesantren di Nusantara yang mempunyai program-program pendidikan sehingga dapat membentuk para santri memiliki kepribadian baik yang sesuai dengan ajaran-ajaran Islam. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap Pengaruh Zikir Tarekat Syattariyyah dalam Pembentukan Kepribadian Santri di Pondok Pesantren Ar-Ramly Giriloyo Wukirsari Imogiri Bantul. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan lapangan sebagai objek dan sumber pustaka sebagai pendukung data. Data di dapat menggunakan metode wawancara kepada pengasuh Pondok Pesantren Ar-Ramly, santri dan masyarakat sekitar pondok. Adapun hasil penelitian ini, pertama, di bawah kepemimpinan KH. Ahmad Zabidi sampai sekarang, Tarekat Syattariyyah mengalami perkembangan dimulai dengan adanya pembukuan kitab amalan, semakin luasnya tempat pelaksanaan amalan harian Tarekat Syattariyyah dan terselenggaranya pertemuan alumni pengamal Tarekat Syattariyyah di Pondok Pesantren Ar-Ramly. Kedua, Terlaksananya kegiatan amalan Tarekat Syattariyyah oleh para santri Pondok Pesantren Ar-Ramly dalam membentuk perilaku yang baik menghasilkan hubungan yang baik antara sesama santri dan masyarakat sekitar di karenakan terwujudnya akhlak kepada Allah. Program kegiatan keagamaan nantinya akan membantu santri dalam membentuk kepribadian baik sehingga menjalin keharmonisan dalam berbaur dengan lingkungan pondok pesantren, keluarga, maupun dalam masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Zikir, Tarekat Syattariyyah, Kepribadian

Group counseling is a process of assistance provided by using group dynamics to solve problems such as problems in one of the Child Welfare Institutions (LKSA) namely discipline problems. This research that some children cannot carry out discipline in fardu prayer, for example during prayer fardu is not on time, then some children carry out fardu prayers are not in accordance with the terms and pillars of prayer, fardu prayers are not congregational, do not look special in prayer and do not have habituation in prayer. In this cases that the purpose how the disciplinary behavior of foster children, and implementation of group counseling with modeling techniques. This research uses quantitative methods and the type of research used is experimental research. The population of this study were foster children totaling 75 (seventy five) children. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 12 (twelve) children. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interview, documentation and Guttman scale techniques. For data analysis the level of discipline of fardu prayer foster children using the t test.The results showed that the discipline of fardu prayer before being given group counseling with modeling techniques with an average total score of 56.25% was included in the low category. After being given counseling the group with the modeling technique increased to 78.66% with a high category. so that an increase of 21.91%. Besides the data analysis t count with degrees of freedom (df) = 11 obtained t count> t table (7.811> 2,2009) or Ha accepted and Ho rejected. It can be ascertained that group counseling services with modeling techniques have effectiveness in improving the discipline of children's fard prayer

AbstractIslamic religious education is not only obtained at the level of formal education. Education in the community environment also contributes to the development of religious diversity in society. The presence of Islamic religious instructors as non-formal educators is the answer to the needs of educators for the community. People who come from various backgrounds have their own place to study Islamic education. This research uses field studies that directly involve the community, conduct interview techniques, collect data and direct observation in the field. The results of this study explain that the insights of religious diversity so far have been good. The use of various methods greatly influences the insights received by the community. Therefore, Islamic extension workers as non-formal educators also need to prepare themselves to face the challenges that exist in the community environment. Keywords: islamic religious instructor, insight into the diversity of society.

ABSTRACTPoliteness among students begin to decline, phenomenon occured in schools many students who do not understand the behavior of courtesy in relationships in the school environment. Therefore, guidance and counseling services are expected to overcome this phenomenon. This research intend to find out and analyze the effect of sociodrama method on students manners. The type of research is experimental research with research subjects totaling 15 students. Data collection technique uses courtesy scale, observation, interview and documentation. In addition, data analysis technique uses paired samples test (T-test). The results of data analysis obtained from the average pretest score is 138,40 while the average posttest score is 143,67. Based on these data show that there is an average increase of -5,267. Correlation value obtained from paired samples test (T-test) is 0,915 with significant 0,000. T-count Value is -3,088 with sig. (2-tailed) value is 0,008. T-count (-3,008) ≥ t-table (2,145) and sig. (2-tailed) value is 0,008 ≤ 0,05. These data mean that Ha in this research is accepted and Ho is rejected so that there are different an average manners before and after treatment (sociodrama method). Thereby, sociodrama method influences the behavior of student’s manners MAN 3 Bantul.Keywords: Sociodrama Method, The Behavior of Courtesy
