As time went on, the Museum in the city of Jakarta was still limited. The works exhibited remain the same and tend not to be interactive. Most museums in Jakarta try to show the historical side of Dutch colonialism and their heritage. but there is no museum that discusses how architecture in the city of Jakarta has developed rapidly until now and left its story or history. In the historical exposures of its growth, where the city government alternates and the conditions of its society are very diverse. But in its journey to a more modern era, there needs to be a change to the concept of the museum. The decline in the number of visits to the museum should be a concern that the millennial generation has begun to abandon the trend of traveling to museums because the museum is considered too old and undeveloped. The presence of the Jakarta architecture museum tells the story of the architectural journey of the city of Jakarta which has developed since the Dutch colonial era to the present. The design of the Museum which is located in the East Merdeka area is directly adjacent to the old building which has historical value, the Immannuel Church and the National Gallery; In addition, this region is connected in one tourism path that is being developed, from the Istiqlal Mosque and the Cathedral Church (which has historical architectural value) to the Proclamation Monument on the Proclamation Road. With a relationship between two destination points. The project also interacts with its surroundings as a comfortable place with open space for the surrounding community. The general program is supported by space 3.0 in the form of amphitheater, which can be accessed by various groups both horizontally and vertically. This project is expected to increase the insight and interest of visitors to study architecture and its role in building cities. AbstrakSeiring berjalanya waktu, Museum di kota Jakarta masih tetap terbatas. Karya karya yang dipamerkan tetap sama dan cenderung tidak interaktif. Kebanyakan museum di Jakarta mencoba menampilkan sisi historis dari penjajahan Belanda dan peninggalannya. namun belum ada museum yang membahas bagaimana arsitektur di kota Jakarta berkembang pesat sampai sekarang dan meninggalkan cerita atau sejarahnya. Dalam paparan sejarah pertumbuhannya, dimana pemerintah kotanya silih berganti dan kondisi masyarakatnya sangat majemuk. Namun dalam perjalanannya menuju era yang lebih modern, perlu adanya sebuah perubahan terhadap konsep museum. Menurunya angka kunjungan ke museum harus menjadi perhatian bahwasanya generasi milenial mulai meninggalkan tren berwisata ke museum karena museum dinilai terlalu tua dan tidak berkembang. Hadirnya museum arsitektur Jakarta bercerita gambaran perjalanan arsitektur kota Jakarta yang berkembang sejak zaman penjajahan Belanda hingga saat ini. Perancangan Museum yang terletak di kawasan Merdeka Timur berbatasan langsung dengan bangunan tua yang memiliki nilai sejarah, Gereja Immannuel dan Galeri Nasional; Selain itu kawasan ini terhubung dalam satu jalur pariwisata yang sedang di kembangkan, dari Masjid Istiqlal dan Gereja katedral (yang mana memiliki nilai historis arsitektur) hingga Tugu Proklamasi di jalan Proklamasi. Dengan adanya satu hubungan lingkage antar dua titik tujuan. Proyek ini juga berinteraksi dengan sekitarnya sebagai tempat yang nyaman dengan ruang terbuka untuk masyarakat sekitar. Program kemduian didukung dengan ruang 3.0 yang berupa amphiteather, dimana dapat di akses oleh berbagai kalangan baik secara kelas horizontal maupun vertikal. Proyek ini diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan maupun minat pengunjung untuk mempelajari arsitektur dan peranannya dalam membangun kota.

Sustainable urban development leads to the creation of livable cities. The Green Open Space (GOS) of City requires the quality of life requirements to support the ecological, socio-cultural, and urban economic functions. In Indonesia, the provision of GOS is the city government’s responsibility, which has to carried out transparently and implemented with the involvement of stakeholders. The limited funding for the provision and improvement of the quality of GOS by the city government has developed a CSR scheme from the private sector. This CSR governance model enriches the use of CSR in addition to social assistance or charity activities, which can realize for the wider city community. The city government’s role in using CSR models is significant to ensure transparency of costs, accountable design policies, and their implementation and maintenance.

This study aims to describe the role of the government-private and role of the government-NGO coalition in Green Open Space Based Urban Governance in Makassar City. This type of research is qualitative, research conducted to systematically search for and compile all data obtained, both interview data, field notes and other data that support research. The results of this study indicate that the confidence of the private / private sector in the city government green open space policy is still low because the government's political will problem is that it does not involve all components in the private sector. One of the strategies is optimizing planters in RTR in strategic areas such as in the Untia region. The strategy that is pressed on the private sector is segmentation of activities that can increase green open space. Decisions taken by the private or private sector are based on the mission of the organization itself which has environmental concerns as outlined through CSR programs, the program is not intervened by the city government. Although there have been Regional Regulations Number 3 of 2014 concerning the arrangement and management of green open spaces but not yet assessed WALHI has provided significant progress for the addition of RTH in Makassar Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran koalisi pemerintah-swasta dan peran koalisi pemerintah-LSM Dalam Tata Kelola Perkotaan Berbasis Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) di Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, penelitian yang dilakukan untuk mencari dan menyusun secara sistematis seluruh data yang diperoleh baik itu data hasil wawancara, catatan lapangan dan data-data lain yang sifatnya menunjang penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keyakinan sektor swasta/privat terhadap kebijakan RTH pemerintah kota masih rendah karena persoalan political will dari pemerintah yang kurang melibatkan seluruh komponen pada sektor swasta. Salah satu strateginya adalah optimalisasi penanam pada RTR Kawasan strategis seperti di Kawasan Untia. Strategi yang ditekan pada pihak swasta adalah segmentasi pada kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan ruang terbuka hijau. Keputusan yang diambil sektor privat atau swasta adalah berdasarkan misi dari organisasi itu sendiri yang memiliki kepedulian terhadap lingkungan yang dituangkan melalui program CSR, program tersebut tidak mendapat intervensi oleh pemerintah kota. Meskipun telah ada Peraturan Daerah Nomor 3 Tahun 2014 tentang penataan dan pengelolaan ruang terbuka hijau namun belum dinilai WALHI memberikan kemajuan berarti bagi penambahan RTH di Kota Makassar

This study discusses how the Serang City Square as a public open space is abused by prostitution as a place for approval of prostitution transactions. These conditions make the City Government of Serang do various ways to allow the condition of the City Square of Serang which has been abused by parties related to prostitution. When the government has not been able to deal with the problem of prostitution itself, then to facilitate the handling of prostitution, the government collaborates with other parties, namely Islamic Organizations that are considered capable of assisting the City Government of Serang in eradicating prostitution in Serang City Square. However, at the time of the collaboration between the Serang City Government and the Islamic Organizations, it had not been running optimally because there were some collaborations between one of them which was not going well with good communication between the best institutions and the Islamic Organizations in eradicating prostitution. This is because the government considers that Islamic Organizations do not have the authority to eradicate prostitution. Indeed, the role of Islamic Organizations is only as a companion and to remind the government.

Globalization and urbanization encourage city policymakers to deal with more challenges and opportunities for the sustainable future. Creating an attractive cityscape surly can increase urban competitiveness. Taipei City is now composed of complex urban systems chaotically enclosed by existing and new urban environments. The city government is attempting to re-shape its cityscape by implementing a series of city regeneration plans and provide new guidelines for architectural engineering, namely “Taipei Beautiful”, considering the improvement of urban landscape, greenery open space, built environments, sustainable campuses and public facilities. Although Taipei Beautiful is an ongoing project, achievements of the current stage have revealed potentials to significantly increase the number of tourists, decrease energy consumption, and promote economic benefits. This study presents an overall review of policies and engineering actions enacted by the city government. Difficulties, challenges, and the role of the city government in affecting architectural engineering are also discussed.

Urban forest is one form of green open space. Urban forests play an important role in maintaining the sustainability of ecological functions in a city. This role could only run optimally with the availability of urban forests. The purpose of this study is to analyze the status of land ownership and analyze the efforts that can be made in maintaining urban forests. This study used image analysis, interviews, and field observations. From the results of this study, the status of urban forests based on the Mayor of Bandar Lampung Decree in 2010 had different statuses at each location. The urban forest ownership does not exclusively belong to the government. Of the 5 locations, only 1 location owned by the Bandar Lampung City Government, with 1 location that is not recognized (problematic), 1 location did not have a certificate of rights yet, and 2 other locations were private locations. The best effort that could be made to maintain the existence of urban forests is to control urban forest land as ownership in the name of the City Government with the support of certain regulations that can be done. Complaints are an important factor to assist the government in improving the quality of public services. During 2016-2020 in the City Government of Surabaya, the Green Open Space Cleaning Service was ranked as the top 5 Regional Apparatus Organization that received a lot of complaints. The highest complaint was related to public street lighting in the city of Surabaya. The purpose of this study was to determine the service for handling complaints about public street lighting(PJU) at the Dinas Kebersihan Ruang Terbuka Hijau (DKRTH) Surabaya City. This research uses qualitative methods with qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that the complaint handling service of the Dinas Kebersihan Ruang Terbuka Hijau (DKRTH) was based on the Peraturan Daerah No. 4 Tahun 2014 Pasal 38 Ayat 2 concerning the Complaint Handling System, namely: 1). In the institutional aspect, there are a series of work rules, allowed and prohibited actions in handling complaints, and information provided to the public. 2). Procedural aspects, response when receiving complaints and follow-up complaints. 3). Integrative, available channels between officers and available media channels for the public. 4). Comprehensive in nature, examines the type and nature of complaints.

The city has traces of human civilization from time to time with various phenomena that occur. As time goes by, the existence of Third Place in Jakarta remains limited. The activities among those Third Places tend to be less interactive. Most of Third Places aim to address the concept of green and open space, but it fails to communicate its crucial purposes as platfrom activities for the community. In this modern era, the concept is change necessary where it accomodates public needs and no longer be depicted a mere open space. Krendang needs a facility to accommodate motherhood and children activities as the third place. As the people become more individualistic and don't want to socialize, it is more difficult to find leisure and creativity facilities. Motherhood Community and Social Market in Krendang was designed to facilitate the activities of mother and children in the middle of densely population in Krendang, Tambora, West Jakarta.  Abstrak Kota memiliki rekam jejak peradaban manusia dari waktu ke waktu dengan berbagai fenomena yang terjadi di dalamnya. Seiring berjalanya waktu, Third Place di kota Jakarta masih terbatas. Kegiatan yang ditawarkan didalamnya cenderung tidak interaktif. Kebanyakan Third Place di Jakarta mencoba menampilkan sisi ruang terbuka dan penghijauan saja namun tidak berbicara mengenai kegiatan atau wadah bagi masyarakat itu sendiri. Dalam perjalanannya menuju era yang lebih modern, perlu adanya sebuah perubahan terhadap konsep Third Place dimana konsep ini tidak hanya sebagai ruang terbuka saja atau mall melainkan harus dapat mewadahi kegiatan yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat disekitarnya. Fasilitas bagi kaum ibu yakni memasak dan bagi anak – anak yakni bermain dan berkreativitas harus menjadi perhatian utama Third Place pada kawasan Krendang. Pada era modern ini masyarakat mulai cenderung menjadi kaum yang individualistis dan terkesan tidak ingin bersosialisasi. Motherhood Community and Social Market in Krendang diciptakan karena adanya fenomena kepadatan yang terjadi dan menyebabkan manusia tidak lagi memiliki wadah untuk mereka beraktivitas dengan baik pada kehidupa sehari – hari mereka. Selain itu hal ini juga terjadi karena sering adanya masalah seperti kebakaran di kawasan Krendang. Maka dari itu Motherhood Community and Social Market in Krendang di harapkan dapat menghadirkan fasilitas bagi kaum ibu dan anak yang layak dan juga agar terciptanya suatu kondisi sosial yang baik pada Third Place.

Gajahmada Street is one of the main streets in the city of Semarang. The location is very strategic, which connects the Golden Triangle Region in Semarang City which is the center of the city. As a city center, transportation activities in the area are very high. Transportation activities produce carbon dioxide emissions. The accumulation of carbon dioxide emissions is dangerous for health and the environment. Semarang City Government provides green open space along the road section to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. The purpose of this study was to determine the vegetation resilience to absorbing carbon dioxide at that location. The data collection method uses literature collection and field observations. The results showed the ability of green open space to absorb carbon dioxide emissions is 1.218,7 tons/ha/year. While the emissions produced are 6.832 tons/year, meaning that there is residual carbon dioxide that is not absorbed, that is 5.613,3 tons/year.

In this modern era, cities play an important role in the country's development strategy, urban planners and designers and all stakeholders build a strong image and reputation in order to compete between cities and introduce them to the world for sources of regional cash income. City branding is one of the city's strategies to display uniqueness so that it is easily recognized and as a differentiator between a city. Currently, many cities in Indonesia have implemented a city ​​branding strategy and some have mascots as part of their city ​​branding. Mascot is part of the visualization of city ​​branding which has a role to strengthen brand identity. Malang City is one of the big cities in Indonesia that has implemented a city ​​branding strategy, namely Beautiful Malang. The city of Malang also has a mascot which is part of the city ​​branding of the city of Malang, namely the mascot of Osiji which is the official mascot of the Malang City government. This research is a study that examines the Osiji mascot in terms of its application. This study discusses the use of the Osiji mascot as part of the city ​​branding strategy of Malang City and how the visual perception arises from the application of the mascot. The purpose of this research is to find out the strategy that has been implemented by the Malang city government in applying the Osiji mascot as part of the city ​​branding of Malang City and to know the visual perception created from the application of the Osiji mascot. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The theory used in this research is Gestalt's theory of visual perception and Anholt's The City Brand Hexagon theory. The final results in this study indicate that the city ​​branding of Malang through Osiji is considered less than optimal so that the popularity of Osiji has not been able to strengthen the positive image of Malang City. The low popularity of the Osiji mascot is due to the application strategy that does not consider the design principles and concepts of city ​​branding.

Abstract:. The development of public space in urban forest areas as has been done on the Cikapundung Terrace has an influence on the improvement and structuring of the city of Bandung in other regions, as well as a great potential to become a natural tourist attraction. Since the city of Bandung, led by the mayor of Ridwan Kamil, has made rapid progress as a tourist city that has various tourist variants, such as nature tourism, culinary tourism, textile tourism etc., to have more than 100 popular city sights. In this case, the Cikapundung Terrace is one of the benchmarks, as an area within the city that has successfully transformed from a dirty and slum area that pollutes the surrounding environment into a tourist area that is popular and popular with people in and out of the city from various social strata. In the Urban Planning study approach, this phenomenon is a tangible manifestation of the efforts of the City Government to create a public space that is accommodating and well integrated and can be accessed by a large part of the urban community which is then referred to as Urban Space. This is in accordance with the City Government's vision and mission to preserve the environment based on the rules and regulations regarding Open Space.The influence that is felt for the people of Bandung from the revitalization of the Cikapundung river is from the aspect of economic, social and healthy lifestyles, in the economic aspect, regional development such as this has succeeded in providing wider tourism opportunities that can involve local communities to develop independent business activities such as selling around the area, etc., in the social aspect, people interact more with each other in a positive and active communal space, and in the aspect of a healthy lifestyle, the community becomes motivated to contribute to advancing the region by maintaining cleanliness and environmental health. Keyword: Public Space, Urban Space, Open Space Abstract:.
