The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between the effectiveness of digital neuromarketing and the effectiveness of BTL advertising according to consumers of shopping centers in the Junín region of Peru, in times of COVID-19, the research was of a basic type, correlational level and descriptive correlational design, had as a sample 1242 consumers, to whom it was applied, the digital neuromarketing and BTL advertising questionnaires, designed for the study; The instruments presented coefficients of very high validity, 0.83 and 0.85 by geometric mean and very high reliability, 0.91 and 0.92 by Cronbach's alpha. As a result, an inverse correlation (Kendall's Tau b = -0.82) and significant (p = 0.045) was found between both variables. It was concluded that there is an inverse correlation between the effectiveness of digital neuromarketing and BTL advertising according to the sample in times of COVID-19, which denotes that the greater the effectiveness of the neuromarketing, the lower the effectiveness of the BTL advertising.

This chapter examines the dramatization of debt in two contemporary noir films by Danish-American director Winding Refn. A financialized obligation, debt is ceaselessly bought, sold, and securitized. At the same time, debt creates and sustains a social economy of affect that moves within and between people as it crisscrosses our planet. Drive and Only God Forgives tell stories about working-class families, drifters, and small-time crooks to explore the guilt, distrust, and despondency set in motion by a present that remains forever in debt to the past and cannot discern a future. Incapable of repaying what he owes, Drive’s nameless protagonist finds that debt breeds ever more debt. This constant increase, or excess, situates Refn’s characters as biopolitical relays for the monetized consumption and free production of sexuality and violence, and thus the surplus jouissance on which both capital and cinema feed. Set in Los Angeles and Bangkok at the intersection of migratory and financial flows, Refn imagines a global shadow economy of money laundering and drugs. Yet Refn's meditation on the relationship between debt and violence also ponders the possibility of forgiveness within a system determined to uphold financial measurements of social interaction.

This chapter examines the field of population genetics as an approach to the origin of the Jews. Most historians study the past by focusing on the period of time that can be documented by textual sources, the past 4,000 years or so. In the past few years, a new form of primordialism has emerged that uses DNA and the brain's evolutionary history to reconstruct demographic history, ancient social interaction, and other insights to shed light on where people come from and how they have evolved. The chapter first provides an overview of genetic history and biological approaches to the origin of the Jews before discussing what genetics research has revealed about the ancestry of the Jews, some of the criticisms hurdled against this research, and whether a genetic approach offers a viable alternative to the constructivist approach employed by many contemporary scholars to address the question of Jewish origins.

Abstract. Depression in older adults can be explained by Erikson’s theory on the conflict of ego integrity versus hopelessness. The study investigated the relationship between past acceptance, hopelessness, death anxiety, and depressive symptoms in 100 older (≥50 years) adults. The total Beck Hopelessness (BHS), Geriatric Depression (GDS), and Accepting the Past (ACPAST) subscale scores of the depressed group were higher, while the total Death Anxiety (DAS) and Reminiscing the Past (REM) subscale scores of both groups were similar. A regression analysis revealed that the BHS, DAS, and ACPAST predicted the GDS. Past acceptance seems to be important for ego integrity in older adults.

The rise of e-commerce has brought considerable changes to the relationship between firms and consumers, especially within international business. Hence, understanding the use of such means for entering foreign markets has become critical for companies. However, the research on this issue is new and so it is important to evaluate what has been studied in the past. In this study, we conduct a systematic review of e-commerce and internationalisation studies to explicate how firms use e-commerce to enter new markets and to export. The studies are classified by theories and methods used in the literature. Moreover, we draw upon the internationalisation decision process (antecedents-modalities-consequences) to propose an integrative framework for understanding the role of e-commerce in internationalisation

The relationship that exists between design, policies and governance is quite complex and presents academic researchers continuously with new opportunities to engage and explore aspects relevant to design management. Over the past years, we have witnessed how the earlier focus on developing policies for design has shifted to an interest in understanding the ways in which design contributes to policy-making and policy implementation. Research into policies for design has produced insights into how policy-making decisions can advance professional impact and opportunities for designers and the creative industries. This research looked into how design researchers and design practitioners themselves can benefit from specific policies that support design activities and create the space for emerging design processes.
