The effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of the company are very much determined by the workload. By knowing the workload, a company can find out the optimum number of workers needed to meet the target. This is also important for the Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Center, especially in the processing of coffee in the packaging section. Therefore a workload analysis will be carried out using the Work Sampling Method. From the results of the work sampling method, it can be seen that worker productivity is 0.90697, as well as a rating factor of 0.09 and an allowance of 22.With these results it can be calculated that the standard time needed by workers in coffee packaging is 10.98 minutes and the optimum number of workers required 2.06 people.

PT Astoria Prima is a manufacturing company that runs in the field of cosmetic products, currently the company does not yet have a perfect time standard to be applied in the production process. In this study will take data on the production process of lipstick filling in which the filling process of production has hours of work and uncertain results due to the absence of standard time and the exact amount of labor. This study tries to measure the workload of a lipstick fill operator with a work sampling method. From the measurements obtained different standard times; operator 1 = 0.469 minutes, operator 2 = 0.475 minutes, operator 3 = 0.483 minutes, operator 4 = 0.465 minutes, operator 5 = 0.466 minutes, operator 6 = 0.501 minutes and operator 7 = 0.5 minutes. Different standard time because the job description, rating factor and allowance each operator different. From the standard time that has been obtained, it can be seen the number of operators who should be employed to complete the process from the beginning to finish lipstick filling is 7 operators. The average percentage or workload of employees obtained based on the results of data analysis is 104.52% that the workload obtained by the operator is sufficient in accordance with workload that can be received by a worker.

ABSTRACTHuman resources are one of the most important components in a company. In the production process at the polishing section 3 PT. Surya Toto Indonesia still uses human labor and an ineffective workforce. So it is necessary to carry out research actions to determine the optimal number of workers. PT Surya Toto Indonesia is a company engaged in manufacturing which produces fittings, sanitary and kitchen set products. The objectives of this study include knowing the productive presentation of workers in a direct observation activity, to determine the standard time according to the observation time obtained, and to determine the optimal number of employees at Polishing 3.In this study, the optimal number of workers was calculated using Workload Analysis method where work measurement is carried out first to 10 workers using Work Sampling so that the standard time value will be obtained. The results of this study indicate that the yield of productive presentation is 71%. While the standard time obtained in this study was 13.53 minutes. The optimal number of employees is 8.85 people, which in this case can be equivalent to 9 people. So the workload analysis results show that the number of Polishing 3 employees is still not optimal.Keywords: Work Sampling, Workload Analysis, Optimal Number of Workers

Availability of skilled workforce with the right number of labor becomes the goal is that the continuity of the production process goes well, increasing labor productivity is to use the method work measurement. This study aims to determine the level of productivity, idle, standard time as well as determine the amount of standard labor required at the batik polishing section. Research using work sampling method. With using 5% degree of accuracy and 95% confidence level, as well as factors adjustments using the westing house method, then the standard time can be determined to determine the optimal number of workers. Research results, show time standards required by workers 1 to complete the job amounting to 498.83 minutes / piece of cloth, the standard time of worker 2 is 471.35 minutes / piece of cloth, the standard time it takes for workers 3 to complete the job amounting to 456.87 minutes / piece of cloth and standard time workers 4 amounting to 466.17 minutes / cut the fabric. As well as the optimal number of workers that should be employed amounting to 4.51 people, while the number of workers available in the policing section batik as many as 4 people so it is necessary to increase the workforce of 1 person so that product demand is met and also the UD. still can make fabric stock. In addition to standard time, it is also known the average productivity of all operators of 89.24% with an idle percentage of 10.76%.Ketersediaan tenaga kerja yang terampil dengan jumlah tenaga kerja yang tepat menjadi tujuan agar kelangsungan proses produksi berjalan dengan baik. Oleh karena itu untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tenaga kerja adalah dengan menggunakan metode pengukuran kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat produktivitas, idle, waktu standar serta menentukan jumlah tenaga kerja standar yang dibutuhkan pada bagian penyoletan batik. Penelitian dengan metode sampling kerja. Dengan menggunakan derajat ketelitian 5% dan tingkat kepercayaan 95%, serta faktor penyesuaian menggunakan metode westing house, maka dapat ditentukan waktu standar untuk menentukan jumlah tenaga kerja optimal. Hasil penelitian, menunjukkan waktu standar yang dibutuhkan oleh pekerja 1 untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaannya sebesar 498.83 menit/potong kain, waktu standar pekerja 2 sebesar 471.35 menit/potong kain, waktu standar yang dibutuhkan oleh pekerja 3 untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaannya sebesar 456.87 menit/potong kain dan waktu standar pekerja 4 sebesar 466.17 menit/potong kain. Serta jumlah tenaga kerja optimal yang seharusnya dipekerjakan sebesar 4,51 orang, sedangkan jumlah tenaga kerja yang tersedia di bagian penyoletan batik sebanyak 4 orang sehingga perlu adanya penambahan tenaga kerja sebesar 1 orang agar permintaan produk terpenuhi dan juga pihak UD. tetap bisa membuat stok kain. Selain waktu standar, diketahui juga diketahui produktivitas rata-rata seluruh operator sebesar 89,24% dengan prosentase idle sebesar 10,76%.

In the production process using this work sampling method aims to determine whether a job is fast or not, so that workers work in normal conditions that are needed in the production of primary current transformer winding based on standard time. The sampling method was developed based on the law probability. By using a degree of confidence level of 95% and a level of accuracy of 5%, and the adjustment factor with the westing house method. The results of this study indicate the standard time required by worker 1 to complete the work is 128.4 minutes / unit, worker 2 is 125.7 minutes / unit, worker 3 is 121.9 minutes / unit and standard time of worker 4 is 123.3 minutes / unit. And the optimal number of workers that should be employed is 5.1 people, while the number of workers available in the primary winding current transformers is 4 people so there is a need to add 1 new workforce so that the products produced according to the specified time. It is also known that the average productivity of all operators is 89.37% with the percentage of idle (idle time) of 10.62%. Keywords: Work Sampling, standart time, Winding Primer Current Transformer laborKegiatan dalam proses produksi divisi winding primer current transformer dilakukan penelitian yang berkaitan dengan produktivitas menggunakan metode work sampling. Didalam metode tersebut, digunakan tingkat kepercayaan sebesar 95% dan tingkat ketelitian sebesar 5% dengan penyesuaian yang menggunakan metode westing house. Didalam perhitungannya dihasilkan nilai standar pada pekerja 1 ketika selesai tiap project dengan waktu sebesar 128,4 menit/ unit, kemudian pada pekerja 2 sebesar 125,7 menit/ unit, pada pekerja 3 sebesar 121,9 menit/ unit dan untuk pekerja 4 dapat menyelesaikan per project winding current transformer sebesar 123,3 menit/ unit. Dalam penggunaan tenaga kerja yang optimal didapat hasil bahwa dibutuhkan 5,1 atau 5 orang yang digunakan untuk melakukan proses produksi. Sehingga, pada awalnya ada 4 pekerja maka harus ditambah sebanyak 1 orang agar produk yang dihasilkan sesuai waktu yang sudah ditentukan. Disini diketahui juga produktivitas rata-rata semua operator sebesar 89,37 % dengan prosentase idle (waktu menganggur) sebesar 10,62 %. Kata kunci : Work Sampling, Waktu Standar, Tenaga Kerja Winding Primer Current Transformer

Brick molding company has been very flourishing in Nagan Raya, but in this study focuses on molding bricks located at the Blang Bintang, Simpang Maklina, Gampong Cot Beetle, district. Kuala, Nagan Raya. Problems that occur in this company include: determining the standard time work, measuring work time using work sampling method, measuring the working time, calculating standard labor. This study aims to measure the standard time by determining the amount of labor. This research work sampling method. This conduct by direct observation activities of operators in completing the work which is then used to measure the labor force. Standard time operator workload and hours of productive work in completing the work, so that can know the amount of labor that should be employed. The analysis results obtained in this study .2350 minute of normal time, standard time of 0.2355 min, whereas the number of personnel is 0.0532. It can be concluded that the normal time as much as 5.32% so that idle time is still too big.Key Words: Standard Time , Work Sampling , Workload, Labor.

Human resources are individuals who work as the cogs of a company and can produce ideas that are useful for the company. A company must have a department which in carrying out its duties functions to regulate planning in Human Resources and in carrying out the department concerned will calculate the number of employees who will then be given authority or responsibility for their work. Productivity and work efficiency can be disrupted if there is an employee workload. Employee workload can occur when doing tasks that exceed the ability of employees. At PT Asuransi Central Asia there is an imbalance of work in some divisions and causes delays in completing work. In addition, the distribution of employees in each work unit, there are still those who do not refer to the workload and there are also employees who do not use their productive time as well as possible. The purpose of this study is to analyze the working time of employees by using the Work Sampling method and also to analyze the amount employee needs based on workload measurement with the Full Time Equivalent method. The results of this study indicate that the effective working day for a year is 226 days and the effective working time is 1,360 hours for five working days per week. Through the Work Sampling method, it is known that the total time for productive activities is 78%, unproductive activities are 11% and personal activities are 11% with a 30% allowance. Based on the results of measuring the workload with the Full Time Equivalent method, it can be seen that there are 16 employees with an under load workload, an in load workload of 13 employees and an employee with an overloaded workload of 8 employees. Therefore, the company can take several steps to optimize its employees, namely by transferring tasks from overloaded employees to under loaded employees in the same division, companies can also increase working time with overtime wages without having to add 5 employees to save company costs, companies can also conduct employee transfers, provide training and education to improve employee skills and knowledge, and pay attention to the employee's work system. Construction management is an effort in managing projects in the construction sector that goes according to planning, one of which is resource management which is included in the scope of construction management. To regulate the use of labor, the contractor must know the level of worker productivity. The productivity of workers will greatly affect the profit or loss of a project, this is because the level of worker productivity is related to the cost of wages for the realization of the labor required. To analyze this productivity, several methods can be used, including the Work sampling method. This method is used to determine how much labor productivity in the Sukabumi District Government Building Construction project on column work consisting of reinforcement work, formwork, and casting in this study. Research procedures carried out are starting with a literature study. This activity is carried out both before and after the researcher has successfully identified the problem. Then the field study (direct observation) by measuring the productivity of the workers doing the work, and taking the necessary data. In researching the field, the number of workers observed in this project was workers who worked from the beginning of the process until the completion of work in each area that was worked on. There are 5 workers with a duration of 10 days. From the calculation results, it is obtained that the standard time which also shows the amount of labor productivity in column work with concrete structures for reinforcement work is 3.907 kg/minute, then for formwork work is 11,951 / m2 and for casting work is 17,727 / m3. Then the labor coefficient is obtained for 0.065 OH for reinforcement work, 0.199 OH for formwork work, and 0.295 OH for casting work.Keywords: Labor, productivity, work samplingAbstrak : Manajemen konstruksi adalah upaya dalam mengatur proyek dalam bidang konstruksi bisa berjalan sesuai dengan perencanaan, salah satunya adalah manajemen sumber daya yang termasuk dalam cakupan dari manajemen konstruksi. Dalam upaya mengatur penggunaan tenaga kerja, maka kontraktor harus mengetahui tingkat produktivitas pekerja. Produktivitas pekerja akan sangat berpengaruh terhadap keuntungan atau kerugian suatu proyek, hal ini dikarenakan tingkat produktivitas pekerja berhubungan dengan biaya upah realisasi tenaga kerja yang diperlukan. Untuk menganalisis produktivitas ini ada beberapa metode yang bisa digunakan, antara lain metode Work sampling. Metode ini digunakan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar produktivitas tenaga kerja di proyek Pembangunan Gedung Pemda Kabupaten Sukabumi pada pekerjaan kolom yang terdiri dari pekerjaan pembesian, bekisting dan pengecoran pada penelitian ini. Prosedur Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dimulai dengan studi literatur. Kegiatan ini dilakukan baik sebelum maupun sesudah peneliti berhasil mengindentifikasi masalah. Kemudian studi lapangan (pengamatan langsung) dengan melakukan pengukuran produktivitas terhadap pekerja yang melakukan pekerjaan, dan mengambil data-data yang diperlukan. Pada pelaksanaan penelitian di lapangan, jumlah pekerja yang diamati dalam proyek ini adalah pekerja yang bekerja dari awal proses hingga selesainya pekerjaan di setiap area yang dikerjakan. Pekerja yang diamatai sebanyak 5 orang pekerja dengan durasi 10 hari. Dari hasil perhitungan didapat waktu baku yang juga menunjukkan besarnya produktivitas tenaga kerja pada pekerjaan kolom dengan struktur beton untuk pekerjaan pembesian adalah 3,907 kg/menit, kemudian untuk pekerjaan bekisting adalah 11,951/m2 dan untuk pekerjaan pengecoran adalah 17,727/m3. Kemudian untuk koefisien tenaga kerja didapat sebesar 0.065 OH untuk pekerjaan pembesian, 0.199 OH untuk pekerjaan bekisting dan 0.295 OH untuk pekerjaan pengecoran.Kata kunci : Tenaga kerja, produktivitas, work sampling

Industrial competition demands that each company be effective and efficient, hence companies need to make optimal use of resources. The purpose of this research is to determine the productivity of the workers in completing their work and to discover how much workload is caused by the activities carried out. In addition, recommendations for improvements were also given as an effort to reduce the high rate of overtime hours and determine the appropriate number of the workforce at spare parts and raw materials division. The results showed that some workforces have an uneven workload. Meanwhile, based on the results of workload analysis, it can be seen that the workload of the warehouse feeder is classified as a high workload, which is 102%.
