Today is characterised by the formation and development of an open, civilised society; there are fundamentally new forms of communication-based on the social and personal partnership, competition, legal and social foundations of formal equality of all citizens, the rational regulation of social relations. The quantity and quality of communications are continually growing, a significant number of people are involved in the communication process, the relationship between individual communications becomes close, the action of communications whose network has reached a global scale is growing. Modern communication society is characterised by a constant increase and globalisation of communications. The consequence of this development of society is the extremely limited financial resources, significantly narrowing the range of measures and tools to improve the management of the organisation as a whole and its staff, in particular, on the one hand, and changes in the emotional and mental spheres of the employee. Therefore, in their study, the authors considered the concept of communication, types of communication, their impact on the management process of the organisation and identified the role and functions of social communications in personnel management. The authors studied and analysed the methods of personnel management in detail. Based on the theoretical and methodological analysis, the authors proposed a system for managing the behaviour of staff through social communications; proposed a matrix for the distribution of responsibilities and this system and proposed a method for evaluating its effectiveness.

In order to better understand the phenomenon of the quality of different types of close relationships of adults, we have investigated several determinants which define them more clearly. We focused on the relational differences of the respondents according to several sociodemographic (age, gender, employment, marital status and children) and environmental factors (structure and relationships in the family). A total of 400 males and females, ranging from 19 to 51 years, completed a general questionnaire. It collected the data related to sociodemographic and environmental characteristics, as well as the Social Relations Network Inventory (NRI), which assessed the quality of five types of close relationships. The results indicate significant differences between the respondents in the quality of individual close relationships, based on the factors of age, gender, employment, marital status and parenthood, as well as according to the factors of the quality of family relations and parental marital status. The identified differences are particularly pronounced in terms of the quality of the relationship with the mother and the quality of the relationship with the friend, which is explained by the characteristic nature of these relationships, as well as the developmental roles and tasks of the adulthood.

Objetivo: Conocer la relación entre el miedo a la muerte y calidad de vida de los adultos mayores. Material y Método: Estudio correlacional en adultos mayores. La muestra fue de 99 adultos mayores, se utilizó la Escala original de Collet-Lester de Miedo a la Muerte y al Proceso de Morir y el Cuestionario WHOQOL-BREF. Resultados: No se encontró relación en la escala global del miedo ante la muerte y el proceso de morir con la calidad de vida. Se observó relación negativa entre el miedo a la propia muerte y la dimensión física de la calidad de vida (p<.05) y en el miedo al propio proceso de morir con la dimensión ambiental de la calidad de vida (p<.05). Se encontró relación positiva entre el miedo a la muerte de los otros y la dimensión social de la calidad de vida (p<.05). Conclusiones: A menor miedo a la propia muerte mayor calidad de vida en la dimensión física, a menor miedo al propio proceso de morir mayor calidad de vida en la dimensión ambiental y a mayor miedo a la muerte de otras personas mayor calidad de vida en la dimensión social. Objective: Know the relationship between the fear of death and the quality of life ofolder adults.Materials and Method: Correlational study in older adults. The sample was 99 older adults. The original Collet-Lester Scale of Death Fear and the Dying Process and the WHOQOL-BREF Questionnaire were used.Results: No relationship found on the global scale of Death Fear and the Dying Process with the quality of life. A negative relationship was observed between the fear of own death and the physical dimension of the quality of life (p<.05), and the fear of the process of dying with the environmental dimension of quality of life (p<.05). Positive relationship was found between the fear of the death of others and the social dimension of quality of life (p <.05).Conclusions: A lesser fear of one's own death higher quality of life in the physical dimension, a lesser fear of the process of dying, greater quality of life in the environmental dimension and the greater the fear of the death of other people, the greater the quality of life in the social dimension.

Relevance of the work is in the fact that communication is associated with difficulties and sometimes with impossibility of transmitting information. For this reason, the analysis of the communication process from the point of view of social normativity makes it possible to achieve an effective exchange of information between individuals as subjects of social relations. The identification of ascriptive and descriptive norms of the communication process makes it possible to identify the necessary grounds for the transmission of information between social actors. However, it is important to study the problem of identification with the position of normativity, not from a position of having a person of properties that determine itself, allowing you to identify the ways and forms of communication between people, who are understood by the author as subjects identifying themselves with a set of social norms. The scientific novelty of the work is the study of the relationship between the concepts of “communication’’ and ‘‘social normativity’’. It is argued that the normativity of communication is a unity of ascriptive and descriptive norms. The former determine the possibility of realizing a person’s ability to communicate, the latter are thought of as the result of a social agreement, the purpose of which is to achieve effective interaction between social actors. Communication of normativity is interpreted by the author as the ability of individuals to exchange information and use the normative bases of existence for this purpose. Problem statement: the authors are interested in finding a correlation between the concepts of “communication’’ and “normativity’’ in the social life of persons. The purpose of the study is to determine the unity of communication and normativity in the social and personal life of the individual, to identify the mutual influence of these social phenomena. The article deals with the main concepts: normativity, ascriptive and descriptive norms, communication. The author uses a logical method that allows us to make a meaningful relationship between the concepts of ‘‘communication’’, ‘‘social normativity’’, ‘‘ascriptive norms’’, ‘‘descriptive norms’’, ‘‘normativity of communication’’ and ‘‘communication of normativity’’, as well as a critical method that allows us to rethink the relationship of these concepts.The obtained results showed that the normativity of communication expresses a set of norms of information translation, which includes a set of natural and social norms as conditions for the possibility of a person’s communicative activity. The normativity of communication allows us to determine the possibility of a person’s implementation of the communicative process, as well as socially acceptable forms of such interaction that have consensual grounds. Normativity communication allows us to describe the ability of social subjects to exchange information.

Resumo: Em O Capital, Marx nos alertou que a mercadoria tem um caráter misterioso que carrega “sutilezas metafísicas e argúcias teológicas”. Este artigo tenta decifrar um pouco desse mistério buscando decodifica-lo naquilo que denominamos como a estranha objetividade do valor. Para isso, analisamos a relação entre a ideologia e o valor a partir da crítica marxiana à mercadoria, consignada à lógica de Hegel. Vemos que o valor se constitui como razão ontológica da mercadoria enquanto produto do processo de trabalho que carrega uma racionalidade imanente, isto é, um espírito socialmente produzido que se objetiva à medida que é vivenciado pelos indivíduos como uma lógica social que rege as relações nesta sociedade. Isso se dá por meio de “sutilezas metafísicas” na formação da realidade social marcada por contradições estabelecidas entre, de um lado, o conteúdo objetivo das relações sociais, e de outro, a forma como essas relações são vivenciadas pela consciência na sociedade capitalista. Nesta relação entre conteúdo e forma, encontramos determinações de profundidade ontológica entre o valor e a ideologia, enquanto forma social que opera harmonizando as contradições constituintes da realidade social, a exemplo do que acontece no trabalho assalariado. A mediação ideológica se põe como uma progressão imanente à materialização da vivência concreta da relação entre capital e trabalho no salário, de maneira a naturalizar a exploração que se esconde na estranha objetividade do valor que se realiza na troca de mercadorias. Concluímos que a conexão ontológica entre o ser social e a mercadoria é socialmente ubíqua, precisamente por conta do seu caráter ideológico na formação da sociabilidade a partir do processo de trabalho subjugado ao capital.  Palavras-chave: Valor. Ideologia. Trabalho, Capital. Salário.  Abstract: In Capital, Marx warned us that the commodity has a mysterious character bearing "metaphysical subtleties and theological insights." This article attempts to decipher a little of this mystery by decoding it into what we call the strange objectivity of value. For this, we analyze the relation between ideology and value from the Marxian critique of the commodity, consigned to the Hegelian logic. We see that value is constituted as the ontological reason of the commodity as the product of the labor process that carries an immanent rationality, that is, a socially produced spirit that is objectified as it is experienced by the individuals as a social logic that governs the relations in this society. This is done through "metaphysical subtleties" in the formation of social reality marked by contradictions established between, on the one hand, the objective content of social relations, and on the other, the way in which these relations are experienced by consciousness in capitalist society. In this relationship between content and form, we find determinations of ontological depth between value and ideology, as a social form that operates by harmonizing the constituent contradictions of social reality, as in wage labor. Ideological mediation is seen as an immanent progression to the materialization of the concrete experience of the relation between capital and labor in wage, in order to naturalize the exploitation that is hidden in the strange objectivity of the value that is realized in the exchange of commodities. We conclude that the ontological connection between the social being and the commodity is socially ubiquitous precisely because of its ideological character in the formation of sociability from the labor process subjugated to capital.  Keywords: Value. Studying trust within human-robot interaction is of great importance given the social relevance of robotic agents in a variety of contexts. We investigated the acquisition, loss and restoration of trust when preschool and school-age children played with either a human or a humanoid robot in-vivo. The relationship between trust and the quality of attachment relationships, Theory of Mind, and executive function skills was also investigated. No differences were found in children’s trust in the play-partner as a function of agency (human or robot). Nevertheless, 3-years-olds showed a trend toward trusting the human more than the robot, while 7-years-olds displayed the reverse behavioral pattern, thus highlighting the developing interplay between affective and cognitive correlates of trust.

The social policy of a country is a set of specific activities aimed at regulating the social relations between different in their social status subjects. This approach to clarifying social policy is also called functional and essentially addresses social policy as an activity to regulate the relationship of equality or inequality in society. It provides an opportunity to look for inequalities in the economic positions of individuals in relation to ownership, labor and working conditions, distribution of income and consumption, social security and health, to look for the sources of these inequalities and their social justification or undue application.The modern state takes on social functions that seek to regulate imbalances, to protect weak social positions and prevent the disintegration of the social system. It regulates the processes in society by harmonizing interests and opposing marginalization. Every modern country develops social activities that reflect the specifics of a particular society, correspond to its economic, political and cultural status. They are the result of political decisions aimed at directing and regulating the process of adaptation of the national society to the transformations of the market environment. Social policy is at the heart of the development and governance of each country. Despite the fact that too many factors and problems affect it, it largely determines the physical and mental state of the population as well as the relationships and interrelationships between people. On the other hand, social policy allows for a more global study and solving of vital social problems of civil society. On the basis of the programs and actions of political parties and state bodies, the guidelines for the development of society are outlined. Social policy should be seen as an activity to regulate the relationship of equality or inequality between different individuals and social groups in society. Its importance is determined by the possibility of establishing on the basis of the complex approach: the economic positions of the different social groups and individuals, by determining the differences between them in terms of income, consumption, working conditions, health, etc .; to explain the causes of inequality; to look for concrete and specific measures to overcome the emerging social disparities.

Background: The analysis has involved social interactions in a multicultural environment. The social context has been defined by the Vilnius region (Lithuania), where national, religious, and cultural differences exist across generations (multicultural community). The space of “social relationships”, as one of the modules of the WHO quality of life assessment, has been studied. An innovation of the research has been related to the analysis of the phenomenon of community of nationalities and cultures as a predictor of quality of life (QoL). The social motive of the research has been the historical continuity (for centuries) of the construction of the Vilnius cultural borderland. Here, the local community evolves from a group of many cultures to an intercultural community. Interpreting the data, therefore, requires a long perspective (a few generations) to understand the quality of relationships. We see social interactions and strategies for building them as a potential for social QoL in multicultural environments. Methods: The research has been conducted on a sample of 374 respondents, including Poles (172), Lithuanians (133), and Russians (69). A diagnostic poll has been used. The respondents were adolescents (15–16 years). The research answers the question: What variables form the interaction strategies of adolescents in a multicultural environment? The findings relate to interpreting the social interactions of adolescents within the boundaries of their living environment. The description of the social relations of adolescents provides an opportunity to implement the findings for further research on QoL. Results: An innovative outcome of the research is the analysis of 3 interaction strategies (attachment to national identification, intercultural dialogue, and multicultural community building) as a background for interpreting QoL in a multicultural environment. Their understanding is a useful knowledge for QoL researchers. The data analysis has taken into account cultural and generational (historical) sensitivities. Therefore, the team studying the data has consisted of researchers and residents of the Vilnius region. We used the interaction strategies of adolescents to describe the category of “social relationships” in nationally and culturally diverse settings.

AbstractBased on research data from 2003, 2012, and 2018, the authors examine the extent to which capitalist social relations in Serbia have determined liberal value orientations. The change of the social order in Serbia after 1990 brought about a radical change of the basis upon which values are constituted. To interpret the relationship between structural and value changes, the authors employ the theory of normative-value dissonance. Special attention in the analysis is paid to the interpretation of value changes based on the distinction between intra- and inter-systemic normative-value dissonance. In the first part of their study, the authors examine changes in the acceptance of liberal values over the period of consolidation of capitalism in Serbia, while in the second part they focus on the 2018 data and specific predictors of political and economic liberalism.

AbstractFrom a theoretical and empirical linguistic point of view, this paper emphasizes the importance of the relationship between populism and the media. The aim of this article is to explore the language use of the Spanish right wing populism party Vox on the basis of its multimodal postings on the social network Instagram. For the analysis of their Instagram account, a suitable multimodal discourse analysis (MDA) provides a variety of methods and allows a theoretical integration into constructivism. A hashtag-analysis reveals that Vox’s ideology consists of a nativist and ethnocentric nationalism on the one hand and conservatism on the other. With a topos analysis, the linguistic realisations of these core elements are illustrated with two case studies.
