The library as one of the media that provides a variety of reliable sources of knowledge in the form of books, journals and other scientific research. To increase interest in reading, especially in students and lecturers, the library needs to be supported by a system that can manage library data quickly and accurately. At this time, especially in the University of Kuningan Faculty of Computer Science Library the existing library application still has several obstacles, namely the system cannot display the existing book stock and the number of books borrowed making it difficult for librarians and students to check stock, for input and search books are still input by typing it so that it is inefficient, to search for books in other faculties' libraries, they must choose the first keywords that are searched so that they must check one by one in various faculties, there is no division of categories between books, journals or theses and the resulting reports are not optimal . The results of this study are in the form of an information system in which librarians can manage collection data in the form of books, journals, student / lecturer research results (practical work reports / thesis proposals / final assignments / theses / dissertations), other collections (such as magazines , newspapers, etc.), management of borrowing and returning books, management of library members, guest books and reports (available books, borrowed, etc.). The system developed can read book codes and member codes in the form of barcodes to facilitate data search when borrowing / returning transactions occur. Each book has one barcode, where the same title (including the author, publisher and published year) has the same code, the code is only the back for each book, so that the book can be borrowed / available / lost. even though the title is the same. This system is designed using DFD and developed using the RAD method. The design results are applied to the PHP and MySQL programming languages. This information system can be used by all librarians in all faculties in Kuningan University and Kuningan University librarians, where each admin / user can only manage data in each work unit..�Keywords� Library, DFD, Barcode, MySQL, Information System

SIArch-Univaq is a knowledge-based instrument for the cataloging of historical architectural heritage, created to provide a powerful cognitive tool to all operators interested in studies and conservation. The principle characteristic of this architectural Information System is its notable capacity of in-depth analysis, going down to the identification of all the constructive components with simplicity of consultation, activated by one or more three-dimensional models deliberately created. Conceived at the University of L'Aquila (Italy) it was developed in the framework of research financed with funds from the Ministry for University and Scientific Research made available for projects of relevant national interest (PRIN). This article describes its structure, characteristics and functionalities.

The aim of this paper is to develop a Web application where scholars of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FINKI) at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius can display and share their projects and publications. Visitors can view, search through, and filter the authors, projects and publications that can be added and edited by the administrators via the administrator panel. In this paper, we first explain the type of system we are building and go through similar existing systems explaining how they work and what they offer. Then, we go through the programming languages and technologies we decided to use to develop this Web application. After that, the development phase follows, where we describe each of the features we implemented. In The Final Product section we finally show images where you can see how the Web application works and what it looks like. We finish the paper with a conclusion, briefly summarizing what we have achieved.

Abstract — The design of the Tri Dharma Collaboration Data Archive Management Information System of the University of Catur Insan Cendekia Cirebon aims to make it easier for the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) in archiving data on collaboration, research activities and community service carried out by lecturers. In designing this system, the author uses the alphabetical filing system method in the archiving method, this method is poured into the programming languages PHP and Javascript, then the collaboration data, research activities and community service will be stored in the MYSQL database, the software used is sublime text, XAMPP. , The browser and UML design making applications, and the hardware used is the Lenovo G41 notebook with a 2.2 GHz AMD A8 APU Radeon processor. Regarding the final results achieved, this application is expected to make it easier for LPPM to archive data on cooperation between the Tri Dharma University of Catur Insan Cendekia Cirebon University, the advantages of this system are its user-friendly appearance and easy to use, for deficiencies in the system data security is still not optimal, It is hoped that in developing this system data security can be improved again.Keywords — Alphabetical Filing System , Collaboration, Information System, Institute for Research and Community Service Abstrak— Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Arsip Data Kerjasama Tri Dharma  Perguruan Tinggi Universitas Catur Insan Cendekia Cirebon bertujuan agar mempermudah Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) dalam mengarsipkan data kerjasama, kegiatan penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh dosen.Dalam perancangan sistem ini, penulis menggunakan metode Alphabetical filing system dalam metode pengarsipannya, metode ini dituangkan pada bahasa pemrograman PHP dan Javascript, kemudian data kerjasama, kegiatan penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini akan disimpan pada database MYSQL, software yang digunakan yaitu sublime text, XAMPP, Browser dan aplikasi pembuatan perancangan UML, dan hardware yang digunakan adalah notebook Lenovo G41 dengan processor AMD A8 APU Radeon 2.2 GHz. The Papua Province Environmental and Building Arrangement Work Unit is still carried out conventionally in carrying out building data collection. Data collection is still using a questionnaire form, then entered into a computer using Microsoft Excel. This study aims to build an online building data collection information system. Data obtained through direct observation on the object of research and interviews with the building data collection field. The analytical method used to analyze problems in the ongoing system is the PIECES analysis method. The design is carried out using an object-oriented design method, namely, UML design. And the system testing stage uses the black box method. With the existence of an online building data collection information system, it is expected to be a solution to simplify and speed up the process of the survey team conducting building data collection.

Research software, which includes both source code and executables used as part of the research process, presents a significant challenge for efforts aimed at ensuring reproducibility. In order to inform such efforts, we conducted a survey to better understand the characteristics of research software as well as how it is created, used, and shared by researchers. Based on the responses of 215 participants, representing a range of research disciplines, we found that researchers create, use, and share software in a wide variety of forms for a wide variety of purposes, including data collection, data analysis, data visualization, data cleaning and organization, and automation. More participants indicated that they use open source software than commercial software. While a relatively small number of programming languages (e.g., Python, R, JavaScript, C++, MATLAB) are used by a large number, there is a long tail of languages used by relatively few. Between-group comparisons revealed that significantly more participants from computer science write source code and create executables than participants from other disciplines. Differences between researchers from computer science and other disciplines related to the knowledge of best practices of software creation and sharing were not statistically significant. While many participants indicated that they draw a distinction between the sharing and preservation of software, related practices and perceptions were often not aligned with those of the broader scholarly communications community.

Version control systems’ usage is a highly demanded skill in information and communication technology professionals. Thus, their usage should be encouraged by educational institutions. This work demonstrates that it is possible to assess if a student can pass a computer science-related subject by monitoring its interaction with a version control system. This paper proposes a methodology that compares the performance of several machine learning models so as to select the appropriate predicting model for the assessment of the students’ achievements. To fit predicting models, three subjects of the Degree in Computer Science at the University of León are considered to obtain the dataset: computer organization, computer programming, and operating systems extension. The common aspect of these subjects is their assignments, which are based on developing one or several programs with programming languages such as C or Java. To monitor the practical assignments and individual performance, a Git repository is employed allowing students to store source code, documentation, and supporting control versions. According to the presented experience, there is a huge correlation between the level of interaction for each student and the achieved grades.

The article proposes a model for forecasting the success of student’s learning. The model is a Markov process with continuous time, such as the process of “death and reproduction”. As the parameters of the process, the intensities of the processes of obtaining and assimilating information are offered, and the intensity of the process of assimilating information takes into account the attitude of the student to the subject being studied. As a result of applying the model, it is possible for each student to determine the probability of a given formation of ownership of the material being studied in the near future. Thus, in the presence of an automated information system of the university, the implementation of the model is an element of the decision support system by all participants in the educational process. The examples given in the article are the results of an experiment conducted at the Institute of Space and Information Technologies of Siberian Federal University under conditions of blended learning, that is, under conditions when classroom work is accompanied by independent work with electronic resources.

The development of visual communication media at this time is very helpful in supporting information and communication. But often presented visual communication  media  are  less  effective  and appropriate. While so many universities in Indonesia, the increasingly fierce competition in attracting new students. Media Visual Communication can be applied to college in introducing or raising the image and popularity or promote and provide information to prospective students. In essence, in this case the effectiveness of media campaigns assessed in spreading information, influence or persuade prospective students and new student to join the university. The method used by the questionnaires to assess the effectiveness of implemented that have been implemented such as  brochures,  banners, posters, billboards, catalogs, paper bag,  flyers  and  merchandise.  In  conclusion,  this  article specifically assess visual communication media from case studies in Perguruan Tinggi Raharja considered effective and consistent contribution.. This study found a great opportunity to improve the promotion of additional digital marketing media campaign called the college through the  stages resulting in some visual communication media that can be received by the target audience. To create a media campaign needs planning in accordance with the background of the problem so that the media are made to overcome the problems encountered
