Although various aspects of intercultural communication have been addressed in the works of various authors, there is still a lack of works that describe intercultural communication from the new viewpoint – in terms of effective intercultural business interaction, theoretical analysis of models of the classification of cultures, and combination of theoretical and practical insights in overcoming the obstacles of intercultural interaction. There is also a lack of works that highlight creativity as an integral part of cross-cultural business communication. In the belief of the author of the article, without a close synthesis of these aspects, it is impossible to understand in detail the meaning of effective intercultural business interaction. Purpose of the article – to analyse theoretical and practical aspects of effective cross-cultural business communication based on creativity. In the article, through the use of the models of the classification of cultures of various researchers from around the world (Richard R. Gesteland, Edward T. Hall, Richard D. Lewis, Geert Hofstede, Gert Jan Hofstede, Michael Minkov, Shalom H. Schwartz), the aspects of multiculturalism in the context of intercultural business interaction are highlighted. The work analyses creativity as an integral part of effective cross-cultural business communication. The publication also describes the barriers in the intercultural interaction and ways to overcome it. Research methods used in the work: systematic, comparative, logical analysis and synthesis of scientific literature.

The article is devoted to the problem of technical and technological development, which in the modern globalized world is subject to the laws of cyclicity. The realities of today are evidence that in every country of the world coexist and interact elements of different levels of technological structures, which requires a balanced policy to manage their development. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the main theoretical and methodological approaches to the periodization of technical and technological development of the world economy and the formation of generalized criteria for structuring periods of its cyclical dynamics. In the course of the research the tasks were solved, which consisted in the selection of those theoretical and methodological approaches that most fully cover the causal links between changes in technology and technology, on the one hand, and development – on the other; identifying in each approach the criteria of periodization and determining the possibilities of these approaches to describe the current situation. The methodological basis was such general scientific research methods as dialectics, analysis and synthesis, the unity of historical and logical, as well as methods of generalizations, comparisons and classifications. The result of their application was to clarify the essence and establish the specifics of the conceptual approaches of M. Kondratiev, С. Perez and S. Glazyev, which today are considered to be leading in explaining technical and technological development. Based on the comparison of these theoretical and methodological approaches, a generalized idea of the criteria for periodization of the latter is formed. The general conclusion of the study is the formation of scientific ideas about the stages through which society passes in its technical and technological development. This allows you to properly assess the current state of a particular economic system and choose more effective instruments of economic policy to guide its development through progress.

Annotation. Alcohol addiction is one of the three main health problems in the world, which directly or indirectly increases the mortality rate, wherein it poses the greatest threat to the developed countries of Europe and America. Identification of promising directions for resolving the issue of alcohol withdrawal syndrome with delirium is one of the levers to reduce the consequences of its harmful use. It was made an analysis of the electronic database of scientific publications Pubmed and the latest WHO data, the main approaches to the pathogenesis and intensive care of alcoholic delirium in Ukraine and abroad were highlighted and displayed, clinical and laboratory diagnostic aspects were distinguished. There is a certain vision of the pathogenesis of alcohol withdrawal syndrome as an imbalance in the GABA and glutamate-ergic systems in brain neurons. Diagnostic criteria have been developed and introduced into clinical practice to determine the severity of withdrawal status, as well as sedation-agitation scales, it is not completely determined the influence of electrolyte disturbances, namely magnesium deficiency on the severity of the condition, the effectiveness of sedation and mortality. The optimal way to increase the effectiveness of the treatment of alcoholic delirium, which would ensure an adequate level of sedation, has not yet been found all over the world, at the same time, without increasing the risk of complications in the form of an overdose of tranquilizers and hypnotics, both in case of their isolated and combined use. The possibility of using chelate compounds containing GABA in themselves, as well as organic magnesium salts, namely gluconic acid salts, is promising.

Research background and hypothesis. Social interdependence is evident in everyday human life situations; sports industry is based on it as well. Athletes often compete for higher achievements; however, a possibility for cooperation can be envisioned in competitions as well. The research problem is as follows: is it possible to harmonize social interrelations which manifest in competition, cooperation and collaboration at the same time, and how this consistency can be achieved.  The research aim was to elaborate the conceptual model of consistency among competition, cooperation and collaboration based on the premise of social interdependence.Research methods were theoretical analysis and synthesis. The results of theoretical analysis were generalized and incorporated into the conceptual model.Discussion and conclusions. Scientific literature suggested a few insights. First, social interaction may occur at two levels: intra-group (group level) and inter-group (community level). Second, the nature of social interdependence depends on the level of goals being achieved; three levels of goals can be distinguished: individual goals, group goals, and community goals. Third, based on the type of the interaction and the level of goals, individuals tend to engage into a particular form of interrelation: competition, cooperation, or collaboration; moreover, the form of interdependence is not restricted – a combination of a few (or even all) forms is possible. Based on scientific literature, an implication can be made that interrelation among competition, cooperation, or collaboration can result in coopetition as a higher form of interdependence. Keywords: coopetition, social interaction, social interrelations.

The aim. The article highlights the current state of the problem of mumps in the world and the Russian Federation.Materials and methods. The materials of the study were electronic resources WHO infection control, Cohrane, Elsevier, ScienceDirect, CDC infection diseases database, PubMed, eLibrary, CyberLeninka. The research methods were the analysis and generalization of scientific literature. The assessment is presented by the immunological structure of the population in different age groups to mumps (n = 593) in the study area (2018) according to the data of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Perm Territory.Results. The spread of mumps is found to be widespread and uneven in different regions of the world in the form of sporadic cases and large epidemic outbreaks, despite the world practice of vaccine prevention of mumps. Analysis of the immunological structure to mumps in different age groups revealed a fairly high number of seronegative individuals (the largest number was found among adults aged 20–39 years) in the study area (2018). A decrease in the tension of post-vaccination immunity is the main cause for the emergence of an outbreak among the adult population, in addition to vaccination failures among vaccinated children. The immune defenses created by the vaccine strain do not have the same intensity and duration as with natural infection, and some genotypes of “wild” variants of the mumps virus can break through the immune barrier and cause disease. Antigenic differences between vaccine and circulating strains, low inoculation dose can weaken immunity and reduce the effectiveness of mass vaccine prevention.Conclusion. Ways of solving the problem were proposed to forestall an unfavorable epidemic situation with mumps.

Purpose. A study of the current state of the fight against cyber terrorism and cyber extremism in the context of the development of new technologies, when modern achievements of scientific and technological progress are actively used in the area under consideration in order to develop new approaches to solving the question posed. Methodology: the article is based on a reasonable combination of the general scientific dialectical method with legal positivism. Social connections and phenomena, and their interaction with scientific categories are considered in dialectical unity. Consideration of a separate document is based on comparative legal positivism. The work uses scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction. Conclusions. 1. Today there is no comprehensive approach to organizing the fight against cyber terrorism and cyber extremism. 2. At present, terrorism and extremism are actively using in their activities modern capabilities of electronic and information-telecommunication systems and technologies. 3. The current global geopolitical situation in the world does not allow the creation of an effective international system for combating and countering terrorism and extremism, especially in the use of modern electronic and telecommunication technologies. Scientific and practical significance. The article presents some of the author’s positions on how, in the absence of effective legal means of organizing the interaction of law enforcement structures of states, it is possible to consolidate one’s efforts to minimize the spread of cybercrime in the world and, in particular, such most dangerous manifestations of it as cyber terrorism and cyber extremism.

Background. Simultaneously manifested collaboration and competition capabilities are coordinated. This harmony is determined by social interdependency of participants of the activity. It is also true about the dancesport activity. Dancesport dancers mostly compete for higher results, but collaboration is obligatory in order to achieve that result. The problem question was what the educational presumptions of the coordination of collaboration and competition in the dancesport activity are. The research aim was to create the conceptual model of the educational presumptions of the coordination of collaboration and competition in the dancesport activity. Research method was theoretical analysis and synthesis. The results of theoretical analysis are generalized and incorporated into the conceptual model. Discussion and conclusions. The theoretical model of the educational presumptions of the coordination of collaboration and competition in dancesport compiled and presented on the basis of the analysis of scientific literature reveals the conceptual basis of the educational presumptions of the coordination of collaboration and competition in dancesport. Dancesport dancers act and strive for sport and personal goals by using collaboration and competition capabilities, coordinating them and reaching the higher form of coopetition (harmony). The model of the educational presumptions of the coordination of collaboration and competition in dancesport is based on the analysis of literature about the forms of the interpersonal interaction both in the social environment and sport activity, manifestation of discussed forms of the interaction and theory of empiric learning including capabilities.
