<div class="page" title="Page 1"><div class="layoutArea"><div class="column"><p><span>This study aims to determine the acceptance of parking fees at the Malang district transportation service by analyzing the potential, effectiveness and growth rate during the period 2016 to 2019. The research design used uses a quantitative approach. The sample used is the parking fee receipt data for the period 2016 to 2019 at the Malang Regency Transportation Service. Secondary data that had been collected were analyzed by means of potential, effectiveness and growth rate. From the results of research that has been done, the results of the potential for receiving parking fees are in prime and developing categories, have very potential results with increased growth rates (positive). The results of the effectiveness of receiving parking fees are in the very effective category. This category defines and shows that the performance of the Malang Regency Government at the Department of Transportation in the parking fees section is capable of managing and managing its retribution receipts for the four periods. The results for four years show the growth rate of parking fees with a positive growth coefficient. </span></p><p> </p></div></div></div>

Abstract Subject and purpose of work: The study aims to evaluate the growth performance of spice crops in Haryana state of India. Materials and methods: The study is based on secondary data obtained over the period of 17 years i.e., from 2001-2002 to 2017-2018. Four spice crop – ginger, turmeric, garlic and fenugreek were selected from rabi and kharif season on the basis of the largest area sown. In order to analyze the data descriptive statistics (mean and C.V.) and CGR (compound growth rate) were employed. Results: T he s tudy r evealed a significant p ositive g rowth r ate o f 2.20%, 4.50% and 2.20% in the area, production and productivity of ginger in the district of Panchkula, respectively. In the district of Yamunanagar, a growth rate 13.80% and 10.20% was found in the area and production of turmeric. However, a negative productivity growth rate of -3.20% was also revealed. A positive growth rate 1.50%, 3.30% and 0.17% was found in the area, production and productivity of garlic in Karnal district. In the district of Yamunanagar, a growth rate for fenugreek of 7.30% and 7.60% and 13.90% in the area, production and productivity was found. The state of Haryana recorded a significant growth of 1.7%, 2.8% and 1.1% per annum in the area, production and productivity of spice crops respectively. Conclusions: T he s tudy r evealed a positive g rowth rate across all the selected spice crops, indicating improving prospects of spice crops in Haryana state.

The study examined the performance of rice production in Haryana and India during 47 years period, 1966/1967 to 2012/2013, consisting of five sub-periods i.e. P-I (1966/1967 to 1975/1976), P-II (1976/1977 to 1985/1986), P-III (1986/1987 to 1995/1996), P-IV (1996/1997 to 2005/2006) and P-V (2006/2007 to 2012/2013). Quantitative analysis is used to perform linear and exponential functions estimation using exclusively secondary data. The study reveals positive trends in area, production and yield of rice for both Haryana and India. The production of rice at the state level and at country level increased mainly due to increase in area. Similar results are obtained on triennium bases. Area, production and yield of rice crop have shown positive growth rates in Haryana during entire study period and five sub-periods, except for the yield in P-V. The overall trend in production of rice crop for India was found to be similar to that of Haryana; yield has shown positive growth rates during the entire study period and five sub-periods while negative growth rates were observed in area under the rice crop during P- IV and P-V.

The Presented study is an attempt to examine the trend and instability in area, production and productivity of food grain crops in Haryana and India during period 1966-67 to 2012-13 and five sub periods i.e. P-I (1966-67 to 1975-76), P-II (1976-77 to 1985-86), P-III (1986-87 to 1995-96), P-IV (1996-97 to 2005-06) and  P-V (2006-07 to 2012-13). The study is based on secondary data. The study reveals positive trends in area, production and yield of food grains for both Haryana and India. Production in Haryana and India increased mainly due to increase in yield. Similar results have been obtained on triennium bases. In Haryana, area, production and yield have shown positive growth rates in all the periods and the overall period except for area in Period-III, IV and V. In the case of India positive growth rates has obtained for production and yield of food grains while area has shown negative trend in Periods III, IV, V and entire period under study. The coefficient of variation (C.V.) in respect of the three components i.e. area, production and productivity of total food grains found to be higher in Haryana as compared to India in all the periods and the overall period except for yield in period-III, yield and production in period-IV and yield in Period-V. Similar results have been obtained for the instability indices.

ABSTRACT We found that transcription of the pdxA and pdxB genes, which mediate steps in the biosynthesis of the essential coenzyme pyridoxal 5"-phosphate, and the ksgA gene, which encodes an rRNA modification enzyme and is partly cotranscribed with pdxA, is subject to positive growth rate regulation in Escherichia coli K-12. The amounts of the pdxA-ksgA cotranscript and pdxB- and ksgA-specific transcripts and expression from pdxA- and pdxB-lacZ fusions increased as the growth rate increased. The half-lives of ksgA- and pdxB-specific transcripts were not affected by the growth rate, whereas the half-life of the pdxA-ksgA cotranscript was too short to be measured accurately. A method of normalization was applied to determine the amount of mRNA synthesized per gene and the rate of protein accumulation per gene. Normalization removed an apparent anomaly at fast growth rates and demonstrated that positive regulation of pdxB occurs at the level of transcription initiation over the whole range of growth rates tested. RNA polymerase limitation and autoregulation could not account for the positive growth rate regulation of pdxA, pdxB, and ksgA transcription. On the other hand, growth rate regulation of the amount of the pdxA-ksgA cotranscript was abolished by a fis mutation, suggesting a role for the Fis protein. In contrast, the fis mutation had no effect on pdxB- or ksgA-specific transcript amounts. The amounts of the pdxA-ksgA cotranscript and ksgA-specific transcript were repressed in the presence of high intracellular concentrations of guanosine tetraphosphate; however, this effect was independent of relA function for the pdxA-ksgA cotranscript. Amounts of the pdxB-specific transcript remained unchanged during amino acid starvation in wild-type and relA mutant strains.

The present study has been analysed the trend in area, production and productivity of pigeon pea and the instability by Cuddy Della Valle index. The study has been carried out based on secondary data and the data was collected for the periods from 2007-08 to 2018-19. Compound annual growth rate, co-efficient of variation and instability index was computed. The growth rate of area and production of pigeonpea in India showed and significant positive at 1 per cent and 5 per cent level, respectively and productivity showed insignificant positive growth rate. The growth rate of area and production of pigeonpea of Karnataka showed significant positive trend at 5 per cent level and productivity showed insignificant positive growth rate. The increase in production occurs due to increase in area as well as interactions of area and productivity of pigeonpea in the study period. Thus, there is a need to take up productivity enhancing measures in pigeonpea like varietal improvement, improved cultural practices, disease control measures and irrigation facilities. The instability indices for area, production and productivity for pigeonpea is positive which indicates less risk in growing pigeonpea in future.


The study explores the trends in the export of major fruits, namely, apple, banana, grapes, and mangoes from India during 1999- 2000 to 2017-18. The secondary data on area, production, export quantity, and export value were collected from APEDA and NHB to achieve the objectives of the study. The data were analysed using the tools such as percentages, compound growth rates, and Cuddy- Della Valle instability index. The results indicated that selected fruits form 62.79 percent share of the total world fruit area and 72.41 percent share of total fruit production of the World. Although India has a vast production base yet, it exports less than one percent share of the production of major fruits like apple, banana, and grapes. However, the share of export in mango production is quite promising. The growth rates in the production of selected fruits were positive and higher than the growth rate of production of the world. Interestingly, the fruits with high production growth, such as bananas and grapes, had stable exports, whereas apple and mango showed moderate production growth and high volatility in exports.

The study analyzed the trends, growth rates of area, production and yield of major fruits in Chittagong region and identified factors contributing to output growth during 1993/94-2009/10 using secondary data. The fruits under study were mango, jackfruit, litchi, guava, banana, papaya, ber, pomelo, pineapple, watermelon, lime and lemon. The study revealed that the area of all fruits increased over the period except banana, ber, pomelo and water melon. The highest increase in area was estimated for guava (131.6%) and the lowest for jackfruit (6.4%). Similarly, the production of all fruits over the period was increased except banana and pineapple. The average annual growth rates of area, production and yield for all fruits were found to be positive in all periods (i.e, period I: 1993/94-1997/98; Period II: 1998/99-2003/04, and Period III: 2004/05- 2009/10). But the magnitude of the growth rates of area for all fruits varied significantly. The growth rates of area for mango, jackfruit, litchi and pineapple were increased impressively and significantly. This might be due to the adoption of improved variety and management practices by the farmers. The growth rate of area, production and yield of banana decreased drastically over the period due to absence of modern variety of banana and lack of improved management practices in the region. The growth rates of production for mango were found to be highest in the period III (2004/05-2009/10). But the growth rate of yield of mango was found to be decreased significantly over the periods due to improper management against the pest and diseases by the farmers. The highest percentage of output changed was observed in Banana (149%) followed by pineapple (106%) and jackfruit (83%) between the periods. The lowest percentage of output changed was found in guava (11.7%). The contribution of area was the highest in changing output for mango, jackfruit, litchi, guava, ber, pomelo, watermelon, lime and lemon. The contribution of yield was the highest for banana (135.57%), papaya (76.92%) and pineapple (158.62%) for changing output indicated that the increased area was more responsible for changing in output growth of selected fruits. To increase the growth rate of fruits, improved variety and management practices should be disseminated through undertaking special programme and strengthening research-extension linkage in the Chittagong region.Bangladesh J. The changing scenario of consumption and production of pulses will have significant influence on the demand- supply prospects of pulses in India. The country as whole, production of redgram had increased marginally (0.45%) during 1980-2012(Overall study period), though there is positive and significant growth in production(2.86%) during 1980-90 (Period-I), mainly due to lower growth during 1991-2012(period-II). The significant growth in production (1.39%) and productivity (1.04%) of bengalgram in the entire period except area (0.35%) was observed. However, growth in greengram production (1.14%) and productivity (1.21%) was found almost similar. In case of blackgram, positive growth rate in area, productivity and production in both the periods have ultimately resulted higher growth rates in the overall period. The growth in total pulses production indicated that growth in area (-0.10%) was negative while it was positive both in production (1.49%) and productivity (1.59%) during period-I. Similar pattern of growth was observed during period-II and in the overall study period. The estimated demand for pulses were 183.62 lakh tonnes over supply of 148.66 lakh tonnes indicating deficit of 34.96 lakh tonnes during 2001 –2011. Further, demand for pulses expected to reach 225.36 and 255.16 lakh tonnes in the year 2020 and 2030 respectively. Whereas, supply of pulses will reach 218.50 and 237.00 lakh tonnes in the same period indicating narrow gap between demand and supply in the future.

In order to improve the provision of services to the public in the field of parking, environmental arrangement, and order, and as a source of local revenue (PAD), serious and consistent effort is required. In order to achieve the service and implementation of development effectively, each region must be creatively able to create and encourage the increase of local revenue sources. One of the potential sources of Local Revenue (PAD) is from the parking services sector. The purpose of this analysis is to know the level of effectiveness and growth rate of Parking Parking Placement Levies (RTKP) and to know how big contribution of realization of Levy Parking Parking Area (RTKP) to Local Revenue (PAD) in Trade and LLMarket Service Office of Kebumen Regency . The main problem is how the level of effectiveness and growth rate of Parking Parking License (RTKP) and how much contribution of Parking Area Specific Levy (RTKP) to Local Own Revenue (PAD) in 2013-2015 at Trade and Market Service Office of Kebumen Regency. Namely the method of quantitative analysis, the data used are primary data and secondary data. The method of preparation used in this research is descriptive method of analysis. From the result of the analysis of the effectiveness of the realization of the acceptance of Parking Parking Places (RTKP) of the Department of Industry and Trade and Market Management Kebumen Regency can be said to be very effective because the effectiveness criteria is more than 100%. Positive growth with averages of 2014 and 2015 showed a positive growth of 102.125%. And the contribution of the realization of Local Parking Revenue (RTKP) revenue over the period of three years from 2013 to 2015 tends to increase with average showing contribution which is included in medium criterion that is with percentage equal to 21,84%.

The present study has made an attempt to examine the instability in the area, production and productivity of barley crop in India and Haryana during three phases i.e. pre-green revolution, green revolution and post green revolution period. The study is based on secondary data and used three analytical methods.  The results showed that in case of area, the instability is more in the post-green revolution than pre-green revolution period as the focus of the green revolution was mainly on other crops like rice and wheat. In case of production, instability showed a decreasing trend from pre- to post-green revolution period due to the adoption of new technology and good quality seeds during the green revolution. A same decreasing trend was observed in yield instability also. In case of growth pattern, the area in Haryana and India both shows a negative growth trend in the pre-green revolution. In case of production, in Haryana, negative growth trends were observed in the green revolution period but in the post-green revolution, it was positive growth; while in India as a whole growth rate was negative. In case of yield, the growth rate was positive in both Haryana and India.
