Compressor machines are widely used in food, oil, gas and other branches of industrial economy. Energy costs for gas compression are rather high that is why the process of resources saving urgent. Thermodynamic bases of gas compression and change of parameters of a compressible medium, and boundary conditions of parameters of work of compressor machines of volume action are considered. Calculations showing the need to switch to multistage compression due to the limiting increase in the compression temperature at the end of compression are presented. The issues of compressible gas cooling and prospects of using new cooling methods are considered.

A furnace is a heating device, which is used for heating samples up to 1350°C. The conventional method to reduce the temperature of the furnace to room temperature requires more than 8 hours. Therefore, a vortex tube cooling device is used to enhance the cooling process. The vortex tube is a small cooling device that uses compressed gas to produce cold flow. In this study, 3 cooling methods were compared; the conventional method, room temperature compressed gas cooling method, and vortex tube cooling method. From the results, it is clear that the vortex tube is able to enhanced the cooling process. Comparing to the conventional method, the vortex tube can reduce the temperature 2-hour faster.

This paper deals with the problem of energy efficiency improvement of the power supply system at the metallurgical plant. It is known, that up to 50-60% of metallurgical costs of production are energy costs, and there is a significant amount of thermal secondary energy resources, which can be used for heat supply in winter and cold supply in summer. For the organization of the system of waste heat utilization, it is proposed to use an absorption heat transformer, which operates in accordance with the scheme of absorption heat exchanger in winter, and in accordance with the scheme of absorption refrigerating machine in summer.

One of the important tasks for the Russia’s economy and ecology is development and realization of energy and resource saving technologies, allowing the most efficient use of both primary and secondary resources. In oil, gas and chemical industries are widely used processes, in which the potential energy of hydrocarbon or waste gases pressure is either loosing, either recycling with minimum efficiency. The loosing energy should be used for low-temperature purification of waste and prepared gases, thus reducing environmental pollution. One way to solve this problem is to use a vortex technology based on the Rank-Hilsch vortex effect. By efficiency this purification method exceeds manifold standard throttling systems. In this review an analysis related to both theoretical and technological aspects of vortex effect research has been presented. Vortex tubes’ different constructions have been considered along with the incoming flow regulation as the one of the important conditions for these tubes’ operation and realization in the industry. It has been shown that the realization of the regenerative scheme with vortex tubes will improve the core technology’s ecological and economic indicators. A critical review of existing theories related to the Ranque- Hilsch effect has been presented. The development prospects of vortex effect’s shock-wave mechanism allowing explain the excessive cooling capacity of triple-flow vortex tubes used for associated petroleum gas preparation for transportation have been considered.

The relevance of the research topic is due to the study of the important problem of improving the energy efficiency of the economy and the meso and micro levels. In the conditions of the development of an innovative economy, energy saving becomes one of the main factors for increasing the economic efficiency and economic security of industrial enterprises and complexes. The article discusses the main aspects of the organization of energy-saving environmental production systems. The factors affecting the energy efficiency of the production process from the standpoint of logistics, including the processes of storage, storage and transportation of products within an industrial enterprise, are summarized. As a criterion of energy saving in logistics chains, the coefficient of consumption of energy resources spent per unit of production is given. The analysis of the dynamics of fuel and energy costs per unit of output by the types of activities of petrochemical plants of the Republic of Tatarstan was carried out. The specificity of the level of fuel and energy costs by type of activity is shown, depending on the specifics of production and products. The variation of energy consumption data by types of petrochemical production activities for 10 years has been calculated. The prospects for reducing the energy intensity of petrochemical enterprises in the context of the liberalization of the market of electric energy and power are considered. The materials of the study can be used in managing the development of the real sector of the economy, the service sector, both at the enterprise services level and in government structures. In addition, the proposed methodology is appropriate for assessing the level of resource-saving production, building innovative energy-saving development strategies, and developing a mechanism for targeted actions for the rational use of resources.

The issues of energy and resource saving are now especially relevant. In recent years, energy costs have skyrocketed, becoming a national issue. Considering all the factors of heat loss during design, it is possible to plan the required amount of energy. This will allow to achieve the so-called “heat balance”. Currently, there are a huge number of energy audit companies in the country that work without budget funds, without implementing the tasks assigned to them. However, the law requires them to comply with the deadlines during which the owners of the objects must obtain passports. Under such conditions, auditor companies began to use approximate data, which identify the energy potential of enterprises. When identifying the potential, data are used that were given under different conditions and circumstances. At the regional level, auditors themselves find individuals capable of financing their activities, and implement the energy saving programs. All of the above omissions lead to the fact that the analysis is not accurate, which causes mistrust.
