This study, included the feeding of Clausocalanus furcatus of crustacean zooplankton (Calanoida), by studying the structure of the mandible and the gut content of this previous species to determine their favorite food. 93 samples have been collected vertically in period between March and October 2020. The samples were also accompanied with different hydrophysical and hydrochemical measurements in three regions that differ from each other with their environmental properties. The number of members of (C.furcatus) that were studied reached (64) individuals, of which (44) are female and (20) are male. On the other hand, determining the morphology, studying its structure, and knowing the content of the gut of the aforementioned species helped in expanding knowledge about the conditions and strategies of feeding it under the influence of environmental factors. The number of algae species (phytoplankton) that C.furcatus fed reached (9) species, of which (6) belong to the Dinophyceae, (2) species to Bacillariophyceae earth, and (1) only one species to the group Cryptophyceae. The highest average number of Dinophyceae was (1755), followed by Bacillariophyceae (505) individuals, then the group of Cryptophyceae (189) individuals.

During the archaeological excavations in Mediana in 2001, the head of a marble statuette of exceptional beauty and craftsmanship was discovered. It was an isolated discovery, the sculpture probably having been imported from some Greek artistic centre or an eastern Mediterranean workshop, presenting a part of a larger ensemble of sculptures that had adorned an imperial villa with peristyle. Since the head was found in pieces and being just part of a sculptural representation with no reliable attributes, the question of its identification is a difficult task. It was possible to determine, using stylistic traits' analysis that the statuette was made under the influence of Hellenistic cult sculpture, namely that it followed the rules of the school of Praxiteles. On the other hand, the iconographic elements, in particular that of the hairstyle, lead us to the conclusion that this statuette could represent one of two Roman goddesses, either Venus or Diana.

Repeated excavations of the area of the early Byzantine fort on Žirje, an island in the Šibenik archipelago, resulted in recovery of a substantial amount of movable finds, predominantly pottery. Most finds date to the period of Justinian's reconquista in the mid-6th century when the fort was used, but there are also some artifacts of earlier or later dating (Iron Age, Hellenistic and early Imperial periods; medieval and postmedieval periods) whose presence is explained by continuous strategic importance of the fort position. Late antique material has been analyzed comprehensively in terms of typology. Dating and provenance contexts of the finds have also been determined. Presence of pottery from the main production centers that supplied the eastern Adriatic at the time has been attested. This refers in particular to the north African and Aegean-eastern Mediterranean area providing fine tableware and kitchen pottery, lamps and various forms of amphorae. On the other hand, participation of local workshops in supply of the Byzantine soldiers stationed in Gradina probably relates to prevailing forms of kitchenware.

The aim of this study was to characterize the Trichoptera fauna of freshwater springs in Iceland and to relate distribution of caddis larvae to environmental properties of the springs. Out of a total of 48 springs sampled, Trichoptera larvae were found in only eleven. Larval densities were low, as was species diversity. Only three of the 12 species known to occur in Iceland were found: Apatania zonella, Limnephilus griseus, and Limnephilus affinis. The occurrence of A. zonella in springs in North-Iceland may suggest that springs might play a role as refugia for this species that is otherwise excluded from the area by larvae of the predatory caddis species Potamophylax cingulatus, which seems to be absent from spring habitats. Caddis larval abundance was higher in rheocrene springs and in springs with sandy substrate, and decreased with increasing water temperature. Presence or absence of Trichoptera larvae, on the other hand, was not associated with any of the environmental variables measured.

Abstract. In this study, we intended to identify psychosocial and environmental factors common to both, coach and athlete, in a situation of relational dyad, perceived by themselves, in a context of individual sport. In the same way, to perceive which factors were considered most preponderant in the sports performance by the two elements of the dyad. Two interviews were conducted individually, to both coach and athlete, and identified the variables present in this dyad by the coding of the interviews. In the analysis of the collected data, the method used was qualitative. Ten common factors were identified: environment, confidence, empathy, mental exigency, motivation, objectives, perfectionism, resilience, overcoming and values. However, there were significant differences in the relative frequencies of each of these factors, depending on whether they came from the coach or the athlete. It was concluded that, despite the existence of factors common to both subjects, the perception of their significance for the relationship, is not the same. The results also suggest that coaches have a significant focus on the variables of competence. On the other hand, the athletes, in addition to the competence variables, also focus on bond factors such as confidence, or self-knowledge factors such as overcoming.

The present study identifies one species of the genus Octopus in the order: Octopoda (Cephalopoda: Mollusca), recorded forthe first time in the Iraqi coastal waters and Arabian-Persian Gulf. The study extended from January 2019 to December of thesame year. The Octopus specimens were seasonally obtained from the fishing trawlers operating in the Iraqi coastal waters inthe South of Al- Fao District, Basrah- Iraq, NW Arabian Gulf. The Octopus was identified as O. vulgaris in Iraqi coastal watersdepending on morphological features. The habitats of living specimens are briefly described. Some observations were reported on the occurrence of this species and the measurement of some environmental factors. The species was identified up to spe-cies level using standard literature. This species looks similar morphologically to the species which is already identified from the other areas around the world. The present study records significant expansion in the distribution range of this species.

Holden Caulfield, the major character in Jerome David Salinger’s most rewarded novel The Catcher in the Rye, long stood as the innovative and leading figure for such distinctive and revolutionary traits in a character he presented in 1959s’ America literary domain. Salinger media-shy and no interview policies led the public to spread out the idea of the author’s being the whole genius behind the sheer novelty of Holden Caulfield character by making a myth out of the author who turns down any kind of publicity and is finally lionized. This student-friendly hero who denigrate respectability and” phoniness” with his cynical attitude and obscene language, in one way or another, is kept being compared to such huge characters like Huckle Berry Finn whose universal popularity is barely deniable; but the question is that, could at any rate, J.D.Salinger be the sole innovator behind this genuineness? On the other hand, are there any other social and environmental factors, which came to pave the way for any kinds of Holden to be born and well liked? The main purpose of the paper is to answer these questions by a kind of critical theory as New Historicism and survey through the history as a discourse in this method. The results and findings indicate that, apparently, there was a specific social context for the emergence of this novel, with which the author had to interact. By opening up the environmental condition of those days and considering the facts, which affected Holden’s birth and popularity in that era. This essay will point out the fact that criticizing America’s 50s in such aforementioned ambience was inevitably and to some extent predictable.

Opening ParagraphIn Eastern Nigeria today there is a growing movement of people from very densely populated rural districts to those which are sparsely peopled. The movement involves farmers who, because of the increasing pressure on the already overworked and impoverished soils of their village territories, move to districts favoured with abundant and more fertile farmlands. Migration to the farm during the farming season (February-October) may be distinguished from that in which the migrant stays at his place of work for many years before returning to his own village. The former is generally associated with short-distance movement to farmlands rarely more than twenty miles from the natal village. The latter, on the other hand, often involves movement over long distances. The migrant farmer is engaged not only in growing crops but also in harvesting and processing palm fruits. The various economic, demographic, and environmental factors which give rise to this pattern of farming are discussed in this paper, which also reviews the socio-economic implications of migrant tenant farming in Eastern Nigeria.

Bleberan Village has ecotourism potential in terms of insects biodiversity. Moreover, this village has some beautiful tourism objects, such as Sri Gethuk waterfall and Rancang Kencono cave. In the other hand, biodiversity in this village is yet to be explored, hence this research aims at studying insects biodiversity, especially of  three orders: Orthoptera, Lepidoptera and Odonata. The final objective of this reseach is to provide information for studying and conserving biodiversity in this ecotourism region. The observation was conducted in 10 stations in both Kedung Poh (1st location) and Oyo River (2nd location ). Several ecological parameters were calculated such as density, diversity index, and distribution. In addition, enviromental parameters were also measured, i.e temperature, humidity, and light intesity. This research found 17 species of each order, with the highest number of individuals was observed in the member of Orthoptera, especially withPhlaeoba fumosa; 381 individuals (1st location 1) and  445 individuals (2nd location). In the order of Lepidoptera, species Catopsilia pomonahad the highest number of individuals, there were 31 and 46  individuals in 1st location and 2nd location, respectively. The latter is Odonata, had Orthetrum sabinawhich dominated the number with 252 individuals in 1st location and 188 individuals in 2nd location. This research also revealed that diversity index was varied between 0.79 and 0.99, with all orders were distributed in a clumped pattern. All the environmental factors had been observed and did not show any abnormality, therefore insects couldbe alive normally.

SUMMARY1. We collected 27 pairs of twins (MZ 21, DZ 6) ranging from 41 to 80 years, and 16 pairs of homosexual siblings (SL) ranging from 62 to 90 years, all of whom were Japanese in the western district of Honshū-Island. First, we measured the bodily constitution, certain body parts and certain bones, and investigated their life- histories. Next, we investigated various senescent phenomena. That is: — the approximate number of gray hairs on the head, the appearance and the size of alopecia senilis in the parietal region, the approximate number of wrinkles in the frontal region, the comparative number of sulci cutis on the nape of neck, the back of the right hand, and the anterior chest, the development of senile pigment spots on the face, the back of the right hand, the extensor surface of the right forearm, and the upper half of the back, the appearance of the senile wart, the development of pinguecula, the development of arcus senilis, the development of marginal protuberances on the lumbar vertebral bodies, and the upper end of the tibia, the existence of fabella in the right knee, and the calcification in the wall of the arch of the aorta. With regard to these items we calculated the middle percentage deviation, the coefficient of correlation, or the rate of concordance, and on the photographs or X-ray photographs the resemblance between both partners was examined.2. We have concluded that the following items are mainly subject to the control of heredity. That is, the approximate number of gray hairs on the head, the existence, the localization and the shape of alopecia senilis on the parietal region in ♂, the localization and the shape of wrinkles on the frontal region, the localization and the development of senile pigment spots on the face, the development of pinguecula and of arcus senilis of the eye, the development and the shape of marginal protuberances on the lumbar vertebral body, and the development of marginal protuberances on condylus lateralis et medialis of the tibia. On the other hand, the following items were found to be fairly subject to influence of the environmental factors. That is, the appearance of alopecia senilis on the parietal region in ♀, the number of wrinkles on the frontal region, the comparative number of sulci cutis on the nape of neck, the back of the right hand, and the anterior chest, the number of senile pigment spots on the back of the right hand, the extensor surface of the right forearm, and the upper half of the back, the appearance of senile wart on the body, and the calcification in the arch of the aorta.3. Concerning those senescent phenomena, which are strikingly subject to the control of heredity, a certain degree of difference between both partners of MZ was sometimes recognized. When the differences in the progression of various senescent phenomena between both partners of MZ were observed, it was often recognized that some senescent phenomena make more progress in one partner, while on the other hand the other ones do in another partner.4. In order to decide certain environmental factors, which have influence upon the difference between both partners of MZ, we referred to the existence of heavy labor for long duration, the number of deliveries, the grade of the sunburn, the habit of alcoholic drinking, smoking, and history of various diseases. However, we could not decide that some of these factors had certain definite relationship with the progression of certain senescent phenomena. However, we might probably presume that the old-styled Japanese hair dressing worn for many years had a certain relationship with the appearance of the baldness in ♀.
