This study aims to identify environmental perceptions of primary school fourth grade students. The population of this study, which is designed as a descriptive survey model, consists of 97 male and 142 female 239 fourth grade students who are attending public primary schools in Kocaeli Province in the second term of 2018-2019 academic year. Data of research were evaluated by content analysis and descriptive analysis methods. Inter-rater reliability was evaluated by inter-rater reliability formula and Cohen’s Kappa Coefficient. According to the findings of the research, inter-rater reliability was high and acceptable in both statistics. Fourth grade students created 45 different and acceptable metaphors about the environment. These metaphors were analyzed in terms of their common features and were collected under 5 different conceptual categories. It was revealed that fourth grade students mostly referred to the environment with the metaphors of ‘Life’, ‘Home’, ‘Paradise’, and that students’ perceptions of the environment are related to a good world. The majority of students perceived the concept of ‘Environment’ as ‘Environment as Expression of Vitality’. As a result of research, in the process of teaching environmental issues, it can be said that emphasizing that ‘Environment as a Liveliness Expression’, factor of environment supporting the vitality can increase the rate of educational access on environmental issues.

The place for conducting the study was at SD Inpres Koya, from July to August 2018. The research subjects were 12 students. The data collection technique uses observation and test methods. Data analysis was done by analyzing data qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that the activity of students increased (15.33%) in the first cycle to the second cycle. Teacher activity increased (14.66%) from the first cycle to the second cycle. Data on student learning outcomes for pre-action classical absorption (57.50%), cycle I (74.14%), and cycle II (85.83%) increased (11.69%). For classical learning completeness pre-action (41.66%), cycle I (75.00%), and cycle II (100%) increased (25.00%). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of an environment-based scientific approach can improve the activities and learning outcomes of science in the fourth grade of SD Inpres Koya.

The background of this research is the still centered learning of the teacher and the lack of courage of students to express an opinion, this is also supported by the incompleteness of Indonesian language learning, precisely in the speaking ability of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Mangunharjo Semarang. This study aims to determine whether the two stay two stray learning model is effective on the speaking ability of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Mangunharjo Semarang. This type of research is quantitative research using Pretest-Posttest one-Group Design. After taking the data, then analyzing the data of the pretest and posttest learning outcomes with the t-test that was obtained with an average pretest value of 57.12 and an average posttest value of 80.19. With N = 26, obtained tcount = 17.29282 with a 5% significance level of 2.055529. Because tcount = 17.29282> table = 2.055529. Then this shows that the t test has a significant effect. This shows that there is an effect of learning the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model. Suggestions that can be delivered by researchers to teachers is that learning is not only centered on the teacher, but also involves the activeness of students in order to achieve enjoyable learning and students have an interest in learning.

This research is based on the background of the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at Public Elementary School Pedurungan Kidul 01 Semarang in the subject of Social Sciences natural resource material and students' low creative thinking skills. This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study were all fourth-grade students at Public Elementary School Pedurungan Kidul 01 Semarang, totalling 40 students with a sampling technique, namely a saturated sample. The research design used was a one-group pretest-posttest design. Based on the results of normality data analysis with Stable = 0.140, initial normality was obtained with L0 = 0.134, and final normality L0 = 0.139 with H0 results accepted that the data came from a normal distribution. Furthermore, the t-test calculation with ttable = 1.685 obtained t-count learning mastery = 23,772. With classical learning, completeness reaches 95%. Calculation of the analysis of creative thinking by students obtained t count = 15,899, and t arithmetic analysis of creative thinking conducted by the teacher = 10,690. Then Ha is accepted, meaning that the Two Stay Two Stray learning model effectively affects students' creative thinking skills and social studies learning outcomes for class IV Public Elementary School Pedurungan Kidul 01 Semarang with 95% classical learning completeness. Effective social studies learning outcomes, natural resource materials, and fostering students' creative thinking skills can be used as an alternative teacher in teaching.

This study aims to determine the relationship between reading interest and students' Indonesian learning outcomes. This type of research uses quantitative methods with a correlation research design. This research was conducted in the fourth grade of SD Inpres 1 Donggulu. The instruments used in this research are questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics, normality test, product moment correlation and coefficient of determination (KD). The results showed that reading interest was in the strong category and Indonesian language learning outcomes were in the very good category. The results of the calculation of the product moment correlation show that rcount > rtable (0.511 > 0.468), then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a significant relationship between reading interest and Indonesian language learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SD Inpres 1 Donggulu. The relationship between reading interest and Indonesian language learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SD Inpres 1 Donggulu has a moderate level of relationship and if it is presented it is 26%, while the remaining 74% is influenced by other factors.
