Activities that appear in commercial corridors are trade and service activities as well as activity support. This activity support will affect the development of the city so that it is more lively, continuous, and peaceful. In a corridor these activities can bring a lot of visitors. The large number of visitors indicates that the corridor has an attraction. The method used in this study is a method of mapping behavior and space syntax combined with questionnaires. Then the results of these data are correlated so as to know the relationship of supporting activities to the visual quality of corridors. The findings of this study are in the form of supporting activity relationship to the visual quality of the corridor of Jalan Gajah Mada Pontianak. The correlation of data between placed centered mapping and space syntax, between placed centered mapping and questionnaires, as well as between questionnaires and space syntax, showed a positive correlation. The number and position of supporting activities in the form of pkl can increase movement in an area. High movement in space syntax can indicate that the visual quality of an area has a high value. An easy-to-recognize space will attract visitors to come and supporting activities in the form of street vendors can be a movement generator and attractor.

Abstract Background The etiology of reflux esophagitis (RE) is multi-factorial. This study analyzed the relationship of depression, anxiety, lifestyle and eating habits with RE and its severity and further explored the impact of anxiety and depression on patients’ symptoms and quality of life. Methods From September 2016 to February 2018, a total of 689 subjects at Xuanwu Hospital Capital Medical University participated in this survey. They were divided into the RE group (patients diagnosed with RE on gastroscopy, n = 361) and the control group (healthy individuals without heartburn, regurgitation and other gastrointestinal symptoms, n = 328). The survey included general demographic information, lifestyle habits, eating habits, comorbidities, current medications, the gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) questionnaire (GerdQ), the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 depression scale and the General Anxiety Disorder-7 anxiety scale. Results The mean age and sex ratio of the two groups were similar. Multivariate logistic regression analysis identified the following factors as related to the onset of RE (p < 0.05): low education level; drinking strong tea; preferences for sweets, noodles and acidic foods; sleeping on a low pillow; overeating; a short interval between dinner and sleep; anxiety; depression; constipation; history of hypertension; and use of oral calcium channel blockers. Ordinal logistic regression analysis revealed a positive correlation between sleeping on a low pillow and RE severity (p = 0.025). Depression had a positive correlation with the severity of symptoms (rs = 0.375, p < 0.001) and patients’ quality of life (rs = 0.306, p < 0.001), whereas anxiety showed no such association. Conclusions Many lifestyle factors and eating habits were correlated with the onset of RE. Notably, sleeping on a low pillow was positively correlated with RE severity, and depression was positively related to the severity of symptoms and patients’ quality of life.

A B S T R A C T We studied some variables and meteorological parameters in the period from 17 to 21 November 2014 in the city of Bragança-PA and surrounding region, in order to understand how they impact on the city's microclimate and thus make a study for the purpose of get a brief characteristic of the microclimate in the region. The results showed that there were differences in temperature between the points, that is, some features of each local influence on the increase or decrease of air temperature. The relationship of the data with the characteristics of use and land cover showed a significant influence where there was vegetation, because influenced the decrease in the night air temperature and thus minimize heat islands. It was also found that the areas with higher occupancy with buildings and more paving lost less heat, leading to the formation of smaller more intense nocturnal heat islands. So it was noticed that in the city, as well as those who have gone through processes of urbanization, according to literature, have heat island, consisting of higher temperatures during the night, thus causing certain human discomfort. With that, the microclimate changes in the city of Bragança-PA, as well as other urban centers in general are caused by human activities that interfere with people's quality of life. This work is important for publication in the magazine due to their scientific contribution to society Keywords: Bragança-PA, heat island, air temperature.

Nowadays, when the fast-paced world is presented almost everyone's life, the role of the rest and the recreation is gettting more emphasized. It becomes more important to the people where, with whom and in what kind of circumstances they are willing to spend their free time, and how much money they are willing to pay for it. They can find recreation in countless type of tourism, depending on they wish to spend their rest actively or passively. The growing demand of tourism infers the growing supply of tourism and diversity too. Parallel to this the needs of the people who want to relax increase. In case of a tourist destination it is more and more determinative how they can offer various types and quality of services for their guests how they can cooperate in the region in the area or in the same settlement with other service-units, who can even be their competitors. Mórahalom in Hungary is a good example for that where the cooperation between the several service-units is exemplary. That is why I choose my research’s topic: analyzing the Thermál Panzió in Mórahalom. The accommodation service is an area where services are used by all age-group regardless of age and gender. Thus, the target group could include almost everybody. The purpose of my work is to examine the importance of the Thermál Panzió, on the other hand, to do the interrelation and relationship testing among the guests of the pension. The latter is done after the results of my quantitative research among the guests in the pension in 2013. My research focuses on three aims

A1: To examine the coverage -, the requisition of the offered services-, the price-value ratio of the rooms-, and the family-friendly nature of the Thermál Panzió among the guests.

A2: To map the relationship of the pension’s guests and Mórahalom (visiting of the city, knowledge of attractions).
A3: Examination of the guests of the Thermál Panzió (with whom, with what, and when they arrived).

This chapter shows the results of studying the relationship of three microeconomic variables—cost, price, and quality of products—in Apparel SMEs in the city of Bogotá. The findings allow the authors to conclude that there is a narrow correlation between said variables, which determines that entrepreneurs in the sector must complete previous analyses and put strategies to maintain productivity, competitiveness, and sustainability in international markets in place before deciding to export their products. The development of a country can be reached if its companies reach it as well. It is understood that, for some managers and business owners, the initiative to export is a path to reach greater coverage and profitability, a complicated task given that it requires that companies better their levels of competitiveness measured by various independent factors. The study concludes by showing some tools that relate the aforementioned variables and that may better the competitiveness of SMEs with a focus on exportation.

Abstract After the emergence of the term “walkability” in the 1990’s, many metrics have been developed with the aim of evaluating the quality of the built environment for pedestrians. More recently, researchers have also sought an association of these metrics with pedestrian behavior: do better sidewalk conditions and their surroundings correspond with higher pedestrian activity? To study the association of the built environment with the share of pedestrian movements, two different indexes, one at the city level (macro) and one at the neighborhood level (micro), were proposed using georeferenced data from São Paulo (Brazil). Once the available built environment and transport-related data were incorporated in a linear regression model, the neighborhood-level index (micro) and the share of pedestrian movements presented a strong positive correlation (adjusted R2 = 0.797). In addition to the contributions to the relationship of walkability scores with data from developing countries, the discussions presented in this paper intend to provide insights into the territorial disparities in pedestrian mobility, mainly those related to socio-spatial segregation.

This study is limited to the discussion of food consumption which is explored from the dimensions of local food preferences in destinations. This study has three objectives: to establish the neophilic tendency of foods to determine the consumption of new foods; how is the quality of food experiences with neophilia personalities; and how tourist food experiences are moderated by travel motives for new experiences about food in the places visited. This study illustrates a descriptive research scheme, tested on travelers who happen to pass through the city of Kebumen who enjoy "Ambal" satay food by 100 respondents. The study used a partial statistical test (t-test) and Moderated Regretion Analysis (MRA) to look for the effect of variable X on the Y variable. The results showed neophilia personality had a positive effect on the quality of experience. Travel motives that moderate the neophilia personality are not able to moderate the relationship of the neophilia personality to the quality of experience. The conclusions of the study show the higher the neophilia personality and travel motives, the more it can affect the quality of the experience but not with moderation.
