Poetry is a form of literary genre that is full of aesthetic values. The aesthetic value is wrapped in the elements that make up the poetry. This article discusses a comparison of the aesthetic value of the poem “Hujan Bulan Juni” by Sapardi Djoko Damono and “Angels Also Know” by Dewi Lestari. Intertext studies can be used as a medium to find aesthetic values and determine whether literary works are aesthetic or not. The aesthetic value in the poetry "Rain in June" and "Angels Also Know" are shown in several aspects, namely the elements of sound, diction, and image. The linkage of authorship is also shown through the expansion of the use of elements of the poetry structure. The aesthetic value in both poems influences the process of forming new vehicles such as songs and films which are now more popular with the public.

Abstract In recent years, the construction of urban forest parks has run into the fast lane in China. As an indispensable natural landscape resource for urban forest parks, forest landscape has been paid increasing attentions by the public, in contrast, less effort has been made in the field of aesthetic evaluation of forest landscape. Based on the theories of landscape esthetics and psychology, this paper aims to present methods for the aesthetic evaluation, and understand citizen’s aesthetic perceptions of forest landscape using Semantic Differential (SD) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) methods. Moreover, further suggestions will be put forward for a better development of the forest landscape, thereby giving full play to their landscape and recreation functions. As per the findings of this paper, the vegetation element diversity (PC 1 ), the magnificent feel (PC 2 ), the nature-pastoral feel (PC 3 ) and the sense of space (PC 4 ) present the critical comprehensive indexes affecting the aesthetic values of the forest landscape. The relationship between the comprehensive indexes and the landscape aesthetic value is revealed by multiple regression analyses. PC 3 and PC 4 are found to be less influencing on aesthetic values than PC 1 and PC 2 . At last, three suggestions for the construction and protection of forest landscape are put forward. The results of this study will contribute to the preservation of the forest landscape aesthetic, and the integration of these conclusions into the sustainable development strategies of urban forest parks.

Abstract Batik is one of the artworks of old Javanese society which has continued to exist and develop until the present day. In the 18th century, batik was a special type of clothing worn by the nobility, and there were even prohibitions for using batik clothing with certain types of motifs. Its basic substance is the ornamental images made on the fabric. A piece of cloth can change its position and value only because of a difference in decoration. As a visual aesthetic, batik is the work of Javanese artists, created by abstracting the surrounding natural environment, especially various flora, and fauna. Up to 1912, there were more than 100 names of flowers, leaves, and plants that were abstracted to become classical motifs. In the contemporary era, where batik has become more acceptable as clothing for the public, flora-based motifs are no longer the result of abstraction of particular flowers or plants but are considered more for their ornamental aesthetic. The aesthetic value of contemporary batik motifs is no longer determined by the type of flowers or plants abstracted, but by how they are represented for the beauty of clothing.

The article advances the idea about a drop in people interest in buying similar goods and services, especially in conditions of uncertainty, in particular corona-virus epidemic, when people care less about external things, such as their clothes for visiting public places. Today we observe the necessity in meeting aesthetic needs through different tools and artistic objects. Therefore, we can say that it is a certain return to those times, when in public places and even in the Underground you can see real works of art that were not made in a hurry, according to the principle ‘the cheaper the better', but those of full value. In spring 2021 we conducted a survey of students of the Russian Plekhanov University of Economics and the Arts College RGGU to find the role of the aesthetic (emotional, sensual) element - the art-object (in this case - a poster) - in conditions of uncertainty, i. e. COVID-19 epidemic. The findings of this research showed that aesthetic value of graphics takes a foreground, it should be connected with specialization of the trade enterprise, its historic and other factors. The author demonstrates that availability of aesthetic values can form a motivating platform for repeated visits to the store and thus shape its competitive advantage.

The research and design of the Kaganga Script Revisualization as Lampung Identity or Had Lampung is an attempt to provide aesthetic value to the conventional letter system. The aesthetic aspects that were given derived from Lampung cultural traditions, icons, and other visual idioms, such as ornaments on tapis cloth, carvings, traditional clothing accessories, and the stylization of Lampung's unique flora and fauna. The research method of the Kaganga script re-visualization is using Creative Thinking Process approach of Bryan Lawson, who applies steps in solving visual communication problems through several stages; (1) initial understanding (2) preparation (3) incubation (4) information (5) verification. Data analysis is done by considering several aesthetics factors; legibility, readability and unity. From several design or prototype alternatives that have been tested, the new Kaganga script using the Jungian (ship) motif was selected. This design uses Lampung traditional idioms to stylize the original script, which are the stylization of the Jung / Ship motif and the motif of Gold Thread Embroidery. Furthermore, this design can be continued on to the public testing and introduce it to Lampung public after it has been digitized.

Animation defined as a process which giving inanimate object or images appear to be moved. Today, the technology has advanced to another level which animators using computer-generated imagery (CGI) to animate. The aim of this research is to introduce to people about the aesthetics value in character design. In animated film, it must be a character to roll as something that can successfully give the message, feeling, and mood in a situation. So, the character must have the aesthetic value through strong physical appearance based on his or her colour patterns, body language, and shapes to express them. For example, in Malaysia we have many iconic characters in animated series that succeed in portraying the aesthetics value based on what they wanted to deliver like Upin Ipin, Boboi Boi, Keluang Man and Anak-anak sidek. However, not all viewers see the difference. Thus, by making this research, it will guide them to be more intuitive and can differentiate among characters in any movies.

Mathematics is an enigmatic and captivating idea. Mathematics can also be defined in the context of patterns. This is because mathematics contains patterns, structures, and depictions of an object that grows and is rooted in real life. The structure or pattern that is arranged systematically will produce work, objects, and even an agreement. Life mathematics and mathematics in school learning can be combined with aesthetic studies to achieve contextual learning. This study uses qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The purpose of this study was to reveal the aesthetic value and mathematical concepts of the mendong woven pattern with the songket motif. The location of this research is Babakan Cikawung Village, Margabakti Village, Cibeureum Awipari District, Tasikmalaya Regency. This study involved 3 subjects. Data collection techniques were carried out through unstructured interviews, observation, documentation, and literature review. Unstructured interviews were used to ask about the craft of mendong and the process of making mending weave with songket motifs. Observations or observations are made to find mathematical concepts and mathematical aesthetic values by studying the aesthetics of Thomas Aquinas' theory. The results of the research are mathematical aesthetics by examining the theory of Thomas Aquinas. Mathematical concepts such as repeating patterns 1-2-3-4 and 4-3-2-1, geometric concepts such as parallel lines, reflection, congruence, and rhombus flat shapes.
